What's your most interesting or unhinged WIP fact? Tell us about it! How did you come up with this?

Hey! Thanks for the ask! Tumblr is being weird with notifications so I only just saw this, so sorry for the delay!

One of the most interesting facts about The Princess, The Pauper and the Pirate is about one of the main characters, Kai.

He was originally part of a trio of ghost hunting ocs who i eventually repurposed into the three protagonists of PPP, and his original name was Elias.

I originally changed them into fantasy characters about six months before I had my gender crisis, and when I realised that I was a boy, I realised that the name that fit me most was the same as my favourite oc - Elias

Yeah, I named myself after my favourite badass tiefling pirate and it honestly inspired me to keep writing since I loved him so much

Ranger Slayer/Kimberly Heart (could also play as the normal/standard version. But Ranger Slayer has the better costume and is more badass)

Kim is one of the original five chosen by Zordon to become a power ranger. A trained gymnast she is spunky, quick witted and always ready for a fight.

But Ranger Slayer is from a dark future. One where Lord Drakkon, the evil future version of Tommy the Green Ranger, has taken over. Given the Bow of Darkness, she was remade into his Ranger Slayer for years. Now trapped in this alternate last she is freed. She is less jokey than her younger self, more snarky instead

Kale and Caulifla are a pair of Saiyans from Universe 6. Their fused form, Kefla, is the main muse but I am fine playing either of them as seperate characters

Caulifla is a brash confident fighter, always eager for a brawl. Over confident with a bratty arrogance

Kale is a very shy girl, far from confident in herself or her power. But she is always very sweet and kind

Kay, so in this au, cecil is, like, the actual manifestation of the beholding, right? Does that end up affecting wtnv's story at all or is it still the same?

And please, I desperately need to know if Cecil has ever met Elias/Jonah (like how cecil seems to have met Jon in person-ish in your drawings) or if it was, like, a sort of channeling of power sort of thing that Cecil just kinda brushed off and just didn't pay any attention to it

first of all, this is probably the SWEETEST ask I’ve ever gotten, thank you so much!!! I absolutely do not mind questions, I am delighted that this au interested you enough to have them!!

Cecil is the actual manifestation of the beholding in the sense that he is the core of the Eyes power, has been since the mirror incident. Yes, he is The Entity, but has also existed outside of being the eye. he does not serve it in the way avatars do!!! it’s more like; The Eye decided it wanted a self insert humansona, and grabbed Cecil like a squeaky toy. The same way some people edit their ocs into popular show screenshots. and wtnv proceeds as usual!!

Cecil has met Elias/Jonah. Every avatar of the eye gets dropped into the radio station sooner or later, and cecil just goes ahead and regards them as interns. When they are out of night vale, Cecil kind of vaguely perceives them but does not directly communicate with them constantly. at times of using extreme powers (like jon’s smiting thing), he will be able to see through their eyes, they pull their strength directly from him !!

IMTBHWLP (GOD. what an ACRONYM) is like basically an office comedy through cecils pov, and a horror through jon’s!!!

SO under the break I'll give a quick breakdown of the... main stories/universes I have ^_^

Tales of Astreus: Sci-fi, set in a near future of Earth. A small government has an empire that spans solar systems, and sentient species all over the galaxy fight back.

Main: Alex Cooper, a pilot to the Aegis Council, gets a small crew (Fuyuko, Valérie Blais) to complete a confidential mission. Months in, they get stopped by members of an Anti-Aegis organization (Kai Morgan, Knim) and have to work together as their ideals change. Space opera with a heist sub-plot.

Nekusasu: Worldbuilding side story, expanding upon the Nexus androids and the Nekusasu corporation.

Clicks: Worldbuilding side story, expanding upon the Clicks, an insect-like species with strict social roles.

Ma'atsul: Three young adults with powers relating to the elements have to stop a god killer who may be the fourth, lost member of their group. Late medieval fantasy (Alamiel, The Arsonist, Samira, Star, as well as 12 gods).

Kamaria: Fuga, heir to a small clan, and Ayda, princess of the kingdom of Kamaria, have to defeat an existential threat. Fantasy, most recent and with the most development needed.

H(A)UNTING: Contemporary fantasy/supernatural/horror. A company, highly secretive, classifies Unnatural events under 10 (eventually, 11) different Marks: the Collective, the Confinement, the Crawl, the Deep, the Mimic, the Ruin, the Sickness, the Solitary, the Tempest, the Viscera, (The Watcher).

Pyre Point: Main story. A scientist (Faux) uncovers secrets to Unnatural biology and the Midnight corporation has internal disputes. (Ellen Ward, Elliot Philips, and many more)

The End: Two Watchers (Wormwood and Andromalius) have to stop the End of Everything before it happens. (Featuring the Horsemen of the Apocalypse)

Rotting Heartz: An Unnatural band and an alternate future to The End story, with a post-apocalyptic setting.

Fortuna: There's no way I can explain it in words. Image attached. (Fortune/Sachiel, Abel Wilbert, Elias Henderson, and Smiley)

Deadly Sins: Set in a version of Hell, the Seven Deadly Sins personified have intertwined stories.

Alexandra: Moving for college, she encounters a family of vampires.

Sappho: Vampire from the early medieval age with a story spanning up to today.

My Property Isn't Normal: Based on the Reddit story of the same name.

Cowboys: Chris Sloan and Violet Noble butt heads in the american west while they try to uncover a mystery around the slaughter of the herd.

The Ocean: A pirate and a mermaid have a fateful meeting.

Animatronics: Less of a set world, and more of a collection of stories featuring animatronics.

Mythos' Diner: A story of familial tragedy and a continuing cycle of abuse, explored mostly through in-universe media and public reception, spanning 20+ years. An animatronic restaurant (similar to Chuck E. Cheese) themed around greek mythology. Lester Drakos, Harvey Lobos, Zero, and Aperes and the Muses.

Canidae: Originally a theme park in the 80s/90s, the characters were adapted into a cartoon in the early 2000s.

Feliforma: Competitor to Canidae Park, based on feliforms rather than canids.

Starlight: Contemporary fantasy. Maybe that's a strong descriptor... superheroes is more appropriate. Genetic mutations allow 10% of the population to have superpowers, and there are strict rules and regulations around who can become a superhero or supervillain.

Main: Kiran and Sasha are super rivals and romantically involved. A story about abuse and growth.

Epilogue: Post-main story, following high school aged supers and Kiran and Sasha's child.

Magical Girls: Not much in terms of names or character arcs, but magical girls who have to fight 7 Heavenly Virtues.

Many more miscellaneous supers...

Slasher: Again, less of a set world, and more a collection of different stories.

Shame: A group of college students find their deepest secrets and shames exposed by a ruthless killer.

Waterpark: Young adults spend their night in a closed waterpark, whilst being stalked by something.

Sunset Harbor, joint project with @/hellish-bone-monarch: A serial killer, infamous throughout the town, has a specific calling card. Copycat kills have been popping up recently, with people fearing of a twisted fanclub. College students are investigated regarding their alleged involvement.

Hound & Deer, also a join project with @/hellish-bone-monarch: Two slashers who are so so so sickly sweetly in love.

Garden of Eden: A retelling of the story through blogs and news sites.

Holmes: Retelling of Sherlock Holmes with contemporary characters.

Horror Game: No title as of yet, but two protagonists of different horror game genres are stuck together.

Space Rock Opera: No title as well, but a conceptual concert/stage play (think Halyx) that features space opera-type characters.

And MANY MANY MANY more miscellaneous characters without a specific story.

Gargano and Lumis are somehow both feuding with the Miz at the same time, which seems like more than you really need to beat the Miz, but okay.

As for the heel side, I get the impression Elias will turn heel now that his team with Matt Riddle is on ice, but we'll see. Even so, it's a weak field. Theory, Miz, and Corbin all have the same gimmick of being hated because they don't deserve their spots, which works for generating heat but not for establishing credibility.

Gallows and Anderson and the men of Judgement Day make sense as fresh challengers, but those teams are feuding with each other. I don't think Gable and Otis have ever gotten a shot on TV, so maybe that's something.

I don't personally think it's bad for one team to dominate the division across both shows for over a year, but you'd think they'd be setting up more new challengers by now.

I haven't seen any timetable on the others. I'm a bit worried about Orton, since back fusion surgery sounds like a lot to come back from, especially at 42 years old with nothing left to prove. Assuming Orton does come back, I'd be surprised if he returns full time.

My main WIP, currently working on it the most and doing a nanowrimo-like challenge where I try to write 50000 words in three months rather than one

Three strangers. Three stories.  When Kai, Vera, and Rune’s paths cross in the middle of the forest, the three of them share stories and swear to help each other, come what may, as allies in a world out to get them. Together, they face everything from pirates to cruel parents, and work to try and take down the system that stacked the cards against them from the start.  Will they succeed, or will they be crushed like everyone else?

My NaNo WIP, I hit 50K and then immediately started working on something else, so there will be stuff about it, but not as much as PPP

When Miles Baldwin, a quiet kid who keeps to himself, is sent to a three-week long music camp, it sounds like a death sentence. But as he meets new friends, including trans boy Finn who is loud and proud about his identity, he starts to come around, even beginning to question his own gender. Irritatingly, not everyone is as open to change as Miles and his friends, and as the music swells and tension builds before the final concert, can Miles come to terms with his identity without falling victim to the bigoted nature of his fellow players?

Xavier Woods señala que The Usos lo han tenido fácil gracias a su familia. De pronto Matt Riddle interviene, intenta reclutar a Xavier Woods para la banda que está formando con Elias. Luego de algunas payasadas, Riddle reta a The Usos y Solo Sikoa a un encuentro tres contra tres. Lucha de Relevos The Usos y Solo Sikoa se impusieron ante Matt Riddle y The New Day, mediante cuenta de tres sobre Riddle, luego de que recibiera un Uranage de Sikoa. Reto Abierto de Seth “Freakin” Rollins El Campeón esta en el ring, anuncia que esta noche lanzará un reto abierto por su título de Estados Unidos, de pronto The Judgment Day interrumpe, Finn señala que tiene un asunto pendiente con Rollins, por un campeonato hace dos años, esta noche él le costará el suyo. Luego The O.C. interrumpe tambien, AJ Styles y Finn Bálor se encaran, Seth se retira. Styles dice que en WWE Crown Jewel perdieron por la intervención de Rhea Ripley, es por ello que han encontrado a una integrante para The O.C. Mia Yim aparece y ataca a Rhea. Lucha mano a mano Otis derrota a Elias, mediante cuenta de tres, despues de aplicarle un Slam. WarGames Femenino Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss y Asuka se dirigen al ring, Belair asegura que su rivalidad con Damage CTRL está lejos de acabar, las llama al ring. Bayley, Dakota Kai y IYO Sky se dirigen al ring, las japonesas comienzan a discutir en japonés. Bianca coge el micrófono y señala que esto acabará en WarGames, de pronto aparece Nikki Croos y ataca a Belair, Alexa y Asuka, mientras que las tres chicas se encuentran tiradas en el ring, Bayley les dice “Nos vemos en WarGames”. Lucha mano a mano Austin Theory derrota a Shelton Benjamin, mediante cuenta de tres, despues de aplicarle un TKO to ATL. The Miz esta en el ring, niega las acusaciones vertidas por Johnny Gargano en la entrevista de la semana pasada, asegura que demandará a Gargano por difamación. Johnny lo interrumpe, dice haber grabado una conversación de The Miz, donde confiesa que todo lo que contó Johnny en la entrevista es cierto. Lucha mano a mano The Miz vence a Johnny Gargano, mediante conteo de tres, luego de aplicarle un golpe con un objeto metalico. Terminado el encuentro, Dexter Lumis intenta atacar a Miz. Lucha por el Campeonato 24/7 Nikki Cross se impone ante Dana Brooke (c), mediante cuenta de tres. Nikki es la nueva campeona 24/7. Desde el backstage, Nikki Cross es acompañada por Damage CTRL, Nikki con su cara de loquilla bota el Campeonato 24/7 a la basura. Nuevo Reto Abierto de Seth “Freakin” Rollins El Campeón de Estados Unidos esta en el ring, dice estar orgulloso de haber dado relevancia al título de Estados Unidos, luego lanza el reto abierto y espera. Mustafa le responde desde la pantalla panorámica, de pronto Bobby Lashley aparece y ataca por la espalda a Seth, este le dice que es campeón gracias a Brock Lesnar, pero éste ya no es un problema, ya que se encargó de él en Crown Jewel. Lucha por el Campeonato de Estados Unidos Seth Rollins (c) vs. Bobby Lashley, la lucha no da inicio, pero Lashley ataca brutalmente a Seth, los lanza sobre la mesa de comentaristas, lo golpea en varias ocasiones contra el poste del ring. Lashley se marcha, de pronto Austin Theory hace su entrada, ataca a Seth que esta debilitado, para luego hacer efectivo su Maletín de Money in the Bank.
