welcome to el nido de avispas, florida, known commonly as el nido to the locals.
direct translation: the wasp nest, or the nest.
south along route 1, just past its more glamorous, beachside, pretty in neon cousin, is el nido. it ain’t known for much. not exactly a small town, not really a big city, it's not the sort of place that makes it on a postcard either. but most everyone here knows everyone else and their cousin, and the trouble you’ve been getting up to since childhood. doggedness and grit are as synonymous with this wasp’s nest as the devil’s jesters. it’s not quite el nido without the sound of motorcycles roaring down main street. doesn't mean that locals don’t have mixed feelings though, and naturally local law enforcement is just as suspicious as it’s always been.
into the wasp's nest is a crime and town/small city-based oc roleplay, set in the fictional town of el nido de avispas, florida. we are a 19+ rp, characters must be 25+, and we are open for interactions and applications!

the plot focuses on the devil's jesters motorcycle club and el bosque blanco, a drug trafficking organization with a national presence, the tensions in each group, and the friction and ultimately the confrontations between both factions as they vie for control of el nido.
explore the cartel slowly starting to take over el nido while the mc fights for their right to their hometown (while fighting each other for the direction they want to go and grow in). will the mc continue to ride in el nido, or will they be forced out by the vengeful leader of el bosque blanco?

a hidden gem squeezed between the gulf of maine and the canadian border, some 3000 people now call it home. the community is tight-knit, warm, …quirky in a way only small towns hours outside of the nearest large city can be. it’s a new year, a time for new beginnings, and change is on everybody’s minds. even leavenworth is slowly, stubbornly, crawling into the future. it was only a matter of time, wasn’t it?

Made up of five factions, their one goal is to keep the supernatural world thriving in shadow, to keep them safe from those that would do them harm. But now with the fairy queen behind bars, a leech set upon the vampire community, and a missing Archdruid, alliances between the supernatural community are tentative when each faction has their own ambitions and perhaps Rome, a city that has survived over two thousand years, is doomed to fall once more.

Humans are petty and self-obsessed, more so now than ever before. In the days of old, humans worshiped the powers above instead of worshiping themselves. Some say it was wisdom that parted humanity from superstition, but those who know better understand that it was a test of loyalty. The gods were real and they were watching; waiting for humanity to return to them. Those who did were greatly rewarded.
A few have already learned the truth and pledged themselves to the gods. These people are part of a secret society based out of London, called the Hand of the Neopantheon. They worship and offer sacrifice to the gods, and as a reward for their piety they have been gifted incredible power. The gift depends on the patron, and followers choose their patron god as a way to pursue the domain they value most.

NEOPANTHEONHQ is an upcoming urban fantasy oc rp set in London, England. It follows the operations of a secret society that worships a pantheon of secret gods. The gods have offered gifts to their followers and have announced that they will select one human to join their ranks as an immortal deity of immense power. This rp will explore themes of faith, the corrupting nature of power, and what makes a human worthy.

how welcoming are you?
Hey anon!
We're still a tiny (11 members) group, and I aim to make sure every new member (and old) receives as much love and spotlight as possible. Either through including them in events and making sure their characters get some mentions in the discord. I'd like to say that I've collected a very kind and friendly bunch, but most of them are also full-time workers, so depending on what time you're online, you might have to wait a bit for responses.
