Having one of those 'hear me out' moments so....hear me out?

*As usual taking canon facts and building a theory*

So canonically:

• Michael lives in the Celestial Realm where it is always daytime

• Michael likes the stars and constellations (of the human world)

• Michael taught Mammon about the constellations

• n thousand years later Mammon gets them wrong/mixed up while pointing them out to Luke, MC & Satan

• Michael taught Luke about the constellations

• n hundred to possibly even just a year later Luke gets them wrong/mixed up while trying to correct Mammon

• Luke worships the fucking ground Michael walks on. He idiolizes Michael so much. His main reason for learning new recipes for sweets is so he can make them for Michael who has a sweet tooth. There is no fucking way he forgot/mixed up anything Michael taught him.

• Michael lives in the Celestial Realm where it is always daytime

Theory?

Michael doesn't know shit about the constellations.

He loves them sure, he's probably read about them but he can't accurately identify them to save his life. He, however, is 100% confident that he can identify them and is very excited to share his knowledge about them with his kids.

Thus, with each new charge he gets he teaches them a wholly different set of incorrect/mixed up constellations.

So at the amusement park Diavolo has MC give him a human world name to use, but earlier he was on the television as the head of the Corvo Hotel chain or whatever.

So how is he on TV as head of a business in the human world without giving them a name?

Option A: Barbatos handled everything regarding Dia's human world persona, Diavolo just doesn't know who he's supposed to be posing as.

Option B: Barbatos just says he's 'a very private person' and smiles menacingly until the humans just accept they're not getting this rich guy's name.

Option C: The news channel he was appearing on is also run by demons.

Option D: He was introduced as Diavolo and spent the whole time in hair and make-up gushing about his good friend Lucifer. The humans fully expect to be reporting on his demon cult in a few years.

Option E: D. Avolo.

So at the begging of season 3 we see Solomon and MC together because Solomon is teaching them magic right? The question is...do they live together? Did MC move in with Solomon? Did Solomon move to the area where MC lives??

Imagine explaining to you loved ones in the human world why you have started to hang out with a shady old man guy.

Or even worse...if MC moved in with Solomon imagine the old fuck trying to cook things for them since they live together now. The true training comes from surving the nuclear weapon of a food that Solomon makes.

AND IMAGINE IF THE BROTHERS FIND OUT SOLOMON GETS TO LIVE WITH MC.

Just the 2 of them, all alone in his house, the demon brothers could only dream of this. Also this would just add more to the fact that the demon bros bought a mansion in the human world and they made MC live with them during their staying.

I made it to season 3!!

I love Obey Me so much but the story mode is so disgustingly hard. Like how do the game developers even benefit from the game being to difficult? No ones buying devil points just to dump into the astronomical amount of Grimm you need to maintain cards

I feel like I get to play it for a little while and then I have to take a year break to just focus on powering up cards to only get to play for like a few lessons before I have to start the process over again

Barbatos and Solomon's first meeting and a theory of mine, aka: what if Solomon summoned Barbatos to save his friend?

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR SWD S3 AND NB S1 AHEAD

Okay, so we've had pieces of info about their first meeting for a while now, but after collecting everything I could on these two to make my recent posts I was able to put them together and here it is.

First, there are the two times the story was briefly told in Obey Me! SWD, this one being from lesson 53-16 when Asmo discusses his first meeting with Solomon and then asks Barbatos about his:

And this next one being from lesson 49-A when Asmo asks about it for the first time and Solomon doesn't want to tell him:

And we learn what happened in the aftermath from Thirteen when she tells us about it in Obey Me! NB lesson 11-10:

So Solomon risked his life to summon Barbatos using an incantation and was left on the brink of death because of it, all because he "desperately needed his powers to control time", and after their interaction and whatever happened there, Barbatos took him to the Fountain of Knowledge and declared him the new protector of it.

By the way, they didn't make a pact during their first meeting but later on instead, or at least that's what I got from Barbatos saying:

I'm saying this because "eventually" is vague enough to be open to interpretation and could mean that they did make a pact during their first meeting and that it only took some bargaining for Barbatos to agree. But the way I saw it was that the pact was made later on.

So, the questions left unanswered from this are:

1 ) What made Solomon want to control time badly enough for him to seriously risk his life for it?

2 ) Did Barbatos help Solomon by using his powers to control time like he wanted him to?

Because it never says that Barbatos agreed to Solomon's "desperate need", and it doesn't say why Solomon was so desperate for it in the first place, only telling us that there was something he wanted enough to risk death for it.

But it does answer WHY later.

At first I thought we didn't have more info on their first meeting, but then I remembered this little moment from Obey Me! NB ( that I added to my post afterward and here's the screenshot from the post because I was too lazy to open the game and go to the lesson again ):

So Solomon almost died summoning Barbatos because he desperately needed his powers to control time after causing serious destruction to the Human World with his...?

Well, maybe, the passage does say that Barbatos appeared before him and not that he was purposely summoned by him, but it could be that the book is just depicting what people at the time thought happened, since it makes it sound like that was their first meeting when Barbatos himself said that Solomon summoning him was how they first met.

Anyway, let's assume I'm right and that's what happened and the reason why Solomon needed Barbatos was to fix the damage he did to the Human World unintentionally.

THE MAIN THEORY: Solomon summoned Barbatos to save his childhood friend's life, who was affected by Solomon's powers going out of control.

This is something that Solomon tells us in Obey Me! NB lesson 14-16, that he had a friend while he was locked up in the basement as a kid. He tells us the story of how they met and says that from then on the friend started visiting him regularly and that they would chat through the bars of the window basement and that's how their interactions went for however long. But then while telling us about them he suddenly stops:

And thus this became my current theory.

Solomon's powers, which have always vastly surpassed your usual human's, start getting out of control and becomes a threat to the world, endangering one of his loved ones ( much like MC's in S2 with Lucifer ). And desperate to save their life and out of what to do, he summons a demon he knows can control time to help him.

Judging by how Solomon struggles to tell the story to MC though, we can assume that it didn't end well.

Maybe Barbatos refused to save his friend/had no way to do it ( he can only travel through timelines and not actually go back and change the one where he is ) and Solomon had to accept the fact that they were dying and say goodbye and this was the moment when he made this promise to them to become a good sorcerer, learn how to control his powers and protect humanity.

Or maybe Barbatos did try to save them/told Solomon how to do it but it ended badly somehow and that's what brings Solomon pain when he tries to talk about it.

Nightbringer has been sending me in so many emotional directions only worded by the fact that I’m also playing through season 3 of the OG

Especially over Solomon. Cause at first it was yay I’m so glad he’s here and he’s such a comfort to have. And in the Og he’s guiding me through the sorcerer exam just being a doting teach even if some of his teaching techniques are a little suspicious. (I would have straight up cried when Asmo and Barbatos turned on me even if it was just a game, I don’t take breaking trust well) But slowly in Nightbringer I’m starting to loose faith in Solomon. I want to trust him so bad but slowly everything he’s doing is giving me a bad sinking feeling.

I just want to crawl into Lucifers coat and hide.

Silly little Obey Me Headcanons

Their nails just do that.

Satan wasn't allowed to have a DDD right away due to bad behavior. Naughty demons who strangle their brothers and make death threats don't get phones

Because of that, Satan isn't tech savvy yet. He's nowhere near Simeon's level, but you know how his pfp is this?

I think either Lucifer or Asmo did that and told Satan his phone won't recognize him if he tries to change it and he believed it. No way Satan picked such a flustered pic himself. It makes him sooo mad every time he sees it.

The word "prank" is poor translation of an elusive term that doesn't really have a human realm equivalent, but more closely translates to something like "pipe bomb" or "bone implosion." So when they say the Anti-Lucifer League say they "pranked Lucifer" by casting a spell to make his socks never match, what that actually means is they cast Spell of Pipe Bomb to one of Lucifer's socks.

Simeon has seen every movie on the disturbing movie iceberg list and he loved them. He saw Terrifier 2 opening day. He was laughed his beautiful laugh the whole way through.

Heaven and Hell as post-death human repositories exist but they're considered "the sketchy side of town" in both realms, overseen by lesser angels/demons. You never find out what either is like because everyone you hang out with is of such high prestige.

Lilith is in heaven, but Human heaven is so below the brothers' radar, it literally never crossed their mind they might be able to see her again.

Luke will become the revolutionary force of heaven. One day Luke will cast out Michael the way he once cast out Lilith. That's far, far in the future though.
