This is not even everything. There are at least three more of these. Total plagiarism. Even the GIF of those posts is taken directly from the original. And they probably didn't know that my "main blog" is this big. Probably they just deliberately targeted a small blog so that this wouldn't become such a big deal. This really says a lot about their morals.

I find it so painfully heartbreaking that Solomon just...laughs off all the derision, the name-calling, and possibly even did "evil" things on purpose because it's expected of him at this point. (He had not always been like this as Thirteen pointed out before). There was a time when he was "innocent". When his soul sparkled. When it resembled the kind of soul everyone in these god forsaken (pun intended with spite) three realms seemed to associate with the ever loved MC. He's just...worryingly carefree. And because he's like that, he feels even more of a tragic character to me.

Sometimes it even seems that he himself would seemingly make up excuses on why he's hated. Oh, it's because I'm a sorcerer this. I might have won a war against Devildom single-handedly this. I have forgotten. But maybe, I did something bad, that. Hon, you were doing that to SURVIVE. You don't have to be a faultless person to deserve compassion. You don't have to be MC to deserve to be loved.

Okay, can we retire the argument of "I don't want the trio to be dateable because the devs can't even handle 11 dateables! The non-brothers will be treated even worse if they're added!!" Because as someone who doesn't care about the brothers and has been paying attention....

Nightbringer already couldn't treat Simeon and Diavolo worse unless they LITERALLY deleted them from the game.

Barbatos is only around the bare minimum for how much the devs want to focus on his plot relevancy. You could argue that we might see Solomon less, but I have a feeling he makes way too much money now for it to be that noticeable. (and as an OG Solomon stan it would be nothing new to me) What I'm saying is.... I fail to see how my experience would be impacted at all in regards to them.

The devs have ALREADY said they were going to be added. (And don't you think it's time for this game to get a single female love interest??)

All complaining about it does, is that it's honestly just kind of rude to those of us who really want them?

luke is an angel. angels age differently than humans. he is thousands of years old. by angel standards, he is still a child. he isn't even a teenager yet. you can't take a character, who is an angel and not a human, and apply human biology to them. and even when you do, he still looks like a child, acts like a child, gets treated by every single other character like a child.

you (the mc) are a human. you age differently than angels. by human standards you are an adult. if we looked at you by angel standards, you would probably be an infant. so, by lukes point of view, you are a baby.

and yes, compared to the brothers, mc is significantly younger (and yes, this age gap can also be criticised). the difference is that, when mc dates one of the brothers, both parties are consenting ADULTS.

both are adults in their own race (mc is an adult by human standards, the brothers by demon standards)

the same cannot be said for luke. in his race, he is still a child. if mc went to the human world with him, he would fit right in with middle schoolers base on the way he looks and acts.

luke is a child in every shape or form.

You are making leaps here that are unnecessary and you’ve kinda pointed out flaws in your own logic here.

So circling back to my point about Luke being a thousand years old. If by angel standards Luke is a child and MC is a fucking baby, then how is it wrong for the two to date if they are both “minors”? I feel like people need to understand that liking a character does not automatically mean that you think they're perfect flawless beings?

Like, my fave is Belphie. I love him, his storyline is very interesting, I think he can be kind and compassionate, I love how straightforward he is, and he's the adorable youngest sibling.

He's also a fucking menace who literally offed MC, had an entire plan to commit genocide, is snarky, sassy, part of the anti-Luci league, and a manipulative brat.

These things are not mutually exclusive. I very well understand that Belphie is certainly not a completely morally-amazing character; however, I still love his development, his sibling relationships, and his general personality.

In conclusion: The characters you like do not define your personality. You can like characters because of something in your real life, but when consumed normally, fictional characters are...pretty harmless drawings.

If you want extra reassurance: I am yet to murder anyone lol.

I've seen some people saying Barbatos being very upset about the Demon ranking in Solomon's list (which has lore backing from the Lemegeton) to be OOC but for me personally I think it makes sense for his character. He and Solomon met each other when he was a completely different demon, and Solomon, in turn had been a completely different person. (For context, I suggest reading his first Hard mode UR+ Devilgram). The very same demon who raised Solomon to be the way he is now. There's certain people we meet in our lives that would always bring back a version of ourselves we thought we have lost. I certainly had some people saying that to me with the way I act around childhood friends, which is completely different from the way I act around friends I made when I was a lot older. I actually like the fact that Barbatos has someone whom he can be more expressive with. Can be upset with. Petty with. Get jealous of. It adds to him.

It's frustrating but until people understand basic things about geopolitics and history (esp how two certain big countries aren't evil, but we are), it's impossible to have a productive, realistic conversation about what the field looks like, what is possible, what isn't, what's already happening, and what we can expect. I wish having a fundamental grasp on reality was superfluous and just a matter of useless "identity" or "sectarianism" but it has very real (very INTENTIONAL) consequences on one's ability to affect radical change. But I've seen some fans of ascended Astarion state that they believe he does love you, he's just blinded by his new powers and will mellow out in a bit.
