I’m still watching New Girl, but I haven’t enjoyed season 3 as much as I enjoyed seasons 1 and 2. and not because it’s bad, just because I’m kind of bored? and it feels like something is missing, idk what though. all of this to say that I might watch the last four episodes of season 3 and then take a break from it to go finally catch up on Riverdale.

#like the loft's dynamic just isn't hitting like s1 and s2 did #i loved so many of those episodes that i would often finish them and come straight here to rb gif sets and such of the episode i'd watched #but i haven't really felt that way about many s3 episodes #aside from the little three episode arc w/ abby that was nice + linda cardinelli was a bonus #part of it too is that nick and jess are dating but don't have many storylines together so it's like. yeah cool they're gonna break up #that kind of feels realistic at this point since we don't see them spend much time together and they didn't like living together #whereas s1 and s2 make you fall in love w/ their friendship over time and then translate it over to a romantic relationship #in a way that feels realistic #sry for the tag ramble i'm just kind of bummed that this season hasn't really done it for me #oH i also liked the a plot of 03x15 but the b plot was boring so i forgot about the whole ep #and i liked nick saying 'i love you' first on accident but the whole ep just felt like an excuse to give prince an episode so like. #emotional weight was lifted for me in a way. #idk the vibe is just different and idk why but i want the old vibe back #though i will say that i like the reintroduction of coach!! his friendships w/ jess and cece are very sweet too #anyway all of this to say that i'll finish the show eventually but i think i need a break from it since i've been overall bored w/ s3 #bri speaks #new girl notes
