Crisp and sweet Jackfruit (菠萝蜜) to add in some dietary fibre. Though it can be used as an ingredient in cooking, I preferred to just munch them fresh as it is. You can boil, bake, steam or fry them but in our house, we normally boil/steam it whole with skin or peel the skin and prepare it as Sweet Potato Dessert Soup (番薯糖水). Here, we are using Vietnam grown Japanese Purple Skin Sweet Potato with yellow flesh.
