(This moon was very story filled, so I split it into three separate posts to avoid having too much reading in one go)

Notail sighed as he watched the kits run around and play. So many kits at once, and Nightwhisper was also expecting. Soon the clan would be overrun with kits, no doubt.

Notail stiffened as brown eyes landed on the white and ginger tom kit. It would have been fine if he didn’t have such similar dark markings on his face, then Notail could ignore any relation to the kits and pretend he’d never broke the code. But the evidence was clear with that kit’s face.

And then there was Izzie’s and Wonton’s three. He’d never heard of Starclan blessing two mollies with kits before, yet here these kits existed.

What could be the reason for these star-blessed kittens? And why had Starclan been silent toward Notail? Was it because he broke the code? He’d only done so to help grow the clan, yet it seemed Starclan had its own ways of solving a lack of toms problem.
