heyo, enchant over here! i’m a writer, who writes original stuff and fanfics! it’s been a long while since my previous re-intro, and i decided for a new one. just the same basics, just a new post.^^

i’m a hybrid sort of writeblr and a semi-fandom blog. however, i tag appropiately as much as possible. whether it’s salty or positive. i try writing as much as i can! yet i also take breaks when necessary. my motto in general about storytelling is: write what you want to read. and i write any concept stuck in my mind.

my main fandoms are adaptations of marvel comics and dc comics. a big fan of characters, who don’t get enough appreciation (whether from fandom or canon). i love canon divergence and AUs bc it gives me more freedom. i enjoy them yet i’m also aware of their problems especially with the former.

top-tier tropes to me are: chaotic found family, enemies to friends to lovers, subverted  expectations, reluctant allies to best friends to lovers, exhausted™ protagonists, strong friendships, find recovery after all the pain, morally grey characters, and self-discovery.^^  

i have some active original stories, which are listed below.

Blasted Scorn: A group of pirates somewhat succeed in their latest quest, only for knights to be their accidental stowaways. They’re assigned to search for a missing  princess, who’s been captured. Dread Pirate  Titanrin strikes a deal with them in exchange for valuables.  Along the way and dozens of broken bones, this team contemplates on whether  this was their worst decision or not.

True Devotion that Remains Constant: A ballet dancer encounters difficulties while trying to find her own path. A painter is only trying to thrive after escaping a difficult situation. An awkward circumstance leads them  to meet in college, where they slowly learn about each other.

Lines of A Script to Ignore: An unemployed graduate struggles on getting a job as she adjusts from getting back from abroad. A scriptwriter slash theatre actor seeks to share her story while dealing with setbacks. They reconnect as they see each other, forming a bargain that’ll provide help for both of them.

For some info: I'm a non-passing trans boy whose mostly nonbinary + a buncha other genders that represent me, but mostly masc, neu and fem are main ones. I'm also on the aroace spectrum, non-monogamous, and a queer butch-leaning futch non/alterhuman.

I mostly go by all masculine and neutral pronouns, and I prefer not to be addressed using she/her and feminine-based pronouns. I also don't use a DNI and I just block anyone who makes me uncomfortable. I don't need tone tags but I use them for those who have trouble reading tone.

Both of @traincat’s Insomniac Peterfel fics are great reads that are on my (very short) list of fics i regularly re-read.

Naturally I have to suggest myself as well 🤭 I just started a new Peterfel series that I’m looking forward to updating soon! It’s a comic au without a solid timeline and is mostly just interconnected oneshots that center domestic Peterfel. I’m also working on a Felicia-centric fic based on a really cool headcanon that @peterbwatsonparker sent me about psychic/medium Felicia that I’m hoping to post in the next few weeks!! I also have a decent amount of headcanons posted on my blog that never made it into full fics, but my most popular ones (and my personal favorites) are my Mutant!Felicia headcanons.

!!Blog Update!!

Been a little while since I've done one of these, I like to give you guys a little update on whats to come etc! So below the line will give you a little more insight on what I am planning 🥰

Requests -

This is probably the main topic if I am being honest. I know some of you would've seen I expressed how I am feeling a little stressed about them and the large number I have of them. At this stage, requests are still closed and I do not have any insight as to when they will be open.

I would like to open them before the new year thought so I will try my best to be working on them.

Series -

No changes here 😅, I know that is really annoying//frustrating for those who have been waiting for chapter updates and I know I am really shitty are that. I am still in the air about just cancelling them, focusing on getting the requests done before thinking about bringing them back.

I also have had major writers block on all 3 on-going series which is so annoying. I did sit down and try to write more of Forbidden but I am just at a brick all.

October Special -

The last fic for October Special is coming today! 5PM AEDT! It's been so fun writing all these fics for them and I hope you have enjoyed them as much as I have!

Tuesday's post will be a drawing to finish off October.

Christmas Fics -

Last year I did a little Advent Calendar and wrote 24 fics, this year I will be writing 13. I was pushing it last year and let it get in the way of other things. Like October Special, I will post a fic every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with Tuesdays & Thursdays for little marvel themed drawings.

I will once again be doing a mixture of fics, Fluffmas, Slutmas (I like that better than kinkmas lmao) & Darkmas.

At this stage I am not sure if I will be taken any requests for Christmas fics, I have a few ideas of my own that I would like to write for it and I will be going through the requests I already have and seeing which ones I can include for the holidays. Hopefully this will also help with getting some requests done.

Other News -

As October comes to an end, I will go back to posting a fic every Monday & Friday, leaving Tuesday & Thursdays for any mood boards, head cannons or drawings (lol).

I have spent some time over October writing some of my own ideas as I felt I wasn't writing any of my own ideas because I am consistently on edge with what I post atm.

I have 2 concerts coming up, one in November and another in December, these MAY affect posting time as I have to travel and basically I am just busy those days but I will let you know if I will be posting late.

How do you think Daredevil would function as the “regular human” of the JLA, if he took Batman’s place on the team? Additionally, has Matt Murdoch ever been a member of the Avengers?

That totally depends on the writing choices made. If you continue to write him as he is in his original context, he's going to be basically useless.

The universal baselines of the big two have drifted toward one another over the years as they constantly pinch each other's winning formulae, but the level of injury it takes to Seriously Harm a person is still way lower in Marvel than in DC, and Matt is generally deliberately kept on the high-susceptibility tier because he's street-level and a traditional canon whumpee. And the JLA already has better super-hearing.

If you do what Justice League writers typically do with Batman, then Matt will become oddly indestructible, and somehow better at using his one supersense than the guy who can hear and see way more at all times, and situations where Superman is rendered ineffectual and everyone is trapped in the dark and/or the JLA needs a lawyer's perspective on the situation will arise with shocking frequency.

Also Matt's ninja skills will prove sufficient to last a round with Wonder Woman as long as he picks the weapons, though not enough to win.

Unless we bring back the hand-binding weakness and he surprises her with that thing where his billy club breaks apart and there's a filament in between that's long enough to tie a person up. You could probably get away with that once. So he'd lose a spare early in the story and then For Reasons have to fight Wonder Woman seriously later on and then BDSM Wonder Woman comes to the fore. Lmao.

And I believe he's been an associate or honorary Avenger multiple times but never main lineup, but don't cite me as a source or anything.

Just as a note, I've mostly started ignoring these, because I discovered they were getting sent verbatim to multiple blogs, so the reason you were asking me about comics things I have given no reason to think I know or care about is that I'm being solicited impersonally, as a generic 'comics blog,' a machine being prodded in hopes of generating wanted content.

This does not spark joy. I try to reliably answer asks because it's meaningful to me to engage with a person who is engaging with me. Spamming for content is not that and I'm not interested.

Anyone who is actually talking to me and wants my opinion about a comics thing, please ask off anon or make sure to use less bland syntax so I know you're not this one anon.
