Grace Umezawa qualified as northwest airlines stewardess 04 Aug 1948
Tumblr media
She studied at the Mayo Clinic for three years and got her Registered Nurse degree in 1947. Then she learnt that her 94-yr old grandfather was still alive in Japan and she was determined to see him. The rule required a new stewardess to fly within the states for 10 months but the New York-Tokyo airline made an exception for her to transfer to oriental line earlier so that she can have the chance to visit her grandfather.

I think I know who it is

Ok so this suspect has been on the FBI unsolved mystery case for a while but they eventually gave up on the case in 2016. Now quote me on this it took me 5 hours to guess who the suspect of the D.B Cooper hijacking case so I will brief you on a quick true story that happened in 1971 with a hijack mixed in with a robbery case that was never solved. In 1971 at Northwest Orient Airlines a man in his mid 40′s with the name of D.B Cooper or Dan Cooper boarded a Boeing 727-51. Then Cooper ordered some drinks Burbon- and soda while the plane was waiting to take off. After a short time after 3 PM he handed a note to a stewardess indicating that he had a bomb in his briefcase and that he wanted her to sit with him she complied and he opened his briefcase revealing some wires and red colored sticks and he demanded her to write down the things he told her. Then she brought the captain a new note that Cooper demanded $200,000 in twenty dollar bills and four parachutes and to have the plane refueled he said with this quote “No funny business or I will do the Job”. When the plane landed he let all of the passengers off with an exchange that he gets his demands by sending one of the stewardess to get the demands he asked for because he knew if he stepped out of the plane he would get shot by a police sniper. When the plane was refueled he asked the captain to fly over Mexico City at 10,000 ft. when they reached their destination and Cooper did the unthinkable he jumped from the plane into the night with the money never to be seen again.
Now The suspects are Richard MCcoy, Kenneth Christiansen, Robert Rackstraw, Duane Weber, and possibly Sheridan Peterson.
Now in my opinion it could be Kenneth Christiansen because he did have some military experience or Richard MCcoy who had a striking resemblance to D.B Cooper. But it said that Kenneth Christiansen who was 45 at the time if you look up his birthday
