i’m european, but…

i’m european, but when i say where i’m from they respond “oh, but your english is so good” as a compliment

i’m european, but when you ask me about history i can barely tell you something that happened outside of my continent, i wasn’t taught in school

i’m euroean, but if i speak my language at least one person will ask me if i’m russian

i’m european, but i cannot have an abortion. it’s still illegal in my country

i’m european, but i had to watch my father go and work abroad twice as hard as a full-time employee just to earn the same money. the work policies allegedly don’t apply to seasonal workers
