i feel like the rpc needs to understand that ppl display appreciation differently and have a spectrum of boundaries that go with it
#rant incoming#not about Anyone in specific but just remembering my own experiences and what my friends have gone thru#i’ve talked about this in the past but part of what i feel ppl have difficulty establishing boundaries#is because of this wide scale belief that you have to be overtly affectionate#for example:#mutuals that don’t actually know each other very well but say shit like ‘i would die for you’ ‘i’m in love with you’ ‘u mean the world to me#and then u get sb’d/hb’d/dropped whatever at some point without warning#i lowkey hate how the above phrases have become so normalized for literal strangers to say#bc it screws up this concept of boundaries and levels of acquaintanceships#even if we all collectively understand it’s just Chronically Online Gen Z lingo and that it doesn’t rlly mean anything#it can still be misleading and it doesn’t match up to what people do#like the amount of ppl i know who will lovebomb someone on dash and then talk shit about them privately or elsewhere#is ridiculous!!!!#and for myself . as someone who isn’t a naturally affectionate person anyways.#i try to refrain from spwaking like that with ppl im not actually close with#but it doesn’t mean there’s a lack of respect or appreciation#i’m ngl it feels like these messages are treated like currency and u can never tell what’s genuine#in the past if i didn’t say anything to anyone . i would get dropped !! and it was exhausting having to force it#we’re not celebrities we don’t need to PR the things we do or say#this however is not against anyone that does express appreciation in the examples i mentioned!!! ur all gems for it#i just think IN GENERAL that empty declarations are rlly damaging#and contribute to boundary violations later on#bc wym someone u said u loved so much couldn’t ask u why u softblocked them?#u get me?#AH anywyas i just felt like screaming about it rip

one of the most uniquely niche hyperfixation agonies is being obsessed with you or your friends’ oc who happens to have the same name or something else immediately identifiable and incredibly similar yet coincidental to some other character from a big mainstream media and just having to sit in silence and suffer because the masses will never understand how Incapable Of Being Normal you are in associating the hyperfixation to Everything.

my desire to make more dnd characters vs the fact that I’m in no campaigns and don’t know when or if I’ll be in a campaign are fighting
#whimsy whispers#I was in the one campaign that I left and like#I am particular about people in that I don’t like people so if I were to play in a campaign ideally it would be with people I know and like#because i also do not feel all that comfortable playing with strangers#I have a few irls who play or want to but they’re in too many campaigns or are people I don’t want to play with#example being: my roommate kane plays dnd but has several campaigns they’re in#their dad them their sister me and my irl have played dnd together before (very loosely calling it dnd)#I would not play with that group of people again namely their dad who dmed#the only person from that group who had any dnd experience was kane#their dad was just A Lot and went out of his way to hurt and torture out characters and I didn’t vibe with that like please we don’t have to#get hurt to the point of newr death every four minutes just kill me#all the friends I have who play dnd also have far too many campaigns they’re in rn or just don’t live where I do and don’t prefer online#campaigns and I’ve been invited to play one campaign by a mutual and I’ve been added to the server (hi if you see this 💖)#I just am ;-; about new people and playing with new people#the first legit campaign I played was with people I did not know and while I’m friends with them now (though rsd says otherwise) I was very#like uncomfortable and uncertain of if I was playing properly or annoying them and tbh I stayed that way up until I left the campaign for#realsies#uhhh anyways I like dnd a lot it’s very fun and I miss playing it and like making dnd characters#but I have too many also#and I’m not creative enough to make them normal ocs I can hardly do anything with my actual original characters and stories I can’t just#make up a whole new story for the characters and I don’t do well at repurposing characters either

Are you a Self-Shipper that likes to use Character.AI ?
If you are, howdy!
So I’ve been seeing character.ai get tossed around a lot here on the self ship side of tumblr, and I’ve noticed a bit of a pattern. I’ve found lots of mutuals and other self shippers that have really niche f/os that don’t have an AI on the site that has been pre-made, I’ve seen people who’s f/os act really strange due to input from other users, and just in and amongst the really cute things I see it feels like there are some who just haven’t had the greatest experience using the site. And that makes me sad!
I also recently found myself not being too thrilled with one of my f/os’ AI, not for anything problematic, but just because it didn’t feel quite right! So I thought to myself ...
How hard would it be to make my own?
And let me tell you friends, for self-shippers, it’s a freaking game changer.
So, if you want to hear the low-down on how to make your own AI, and how that might help you with your immersion, take a look under the cut!
So I don’t blame you if you took a look at the “Create” page on Character.AI, and got a little intimidated. It’s a lot! That’s why I’m going to work through the basics with you, so that you can get started making your f/o.
To begin with, lets go to that “Create” tab, and click on “Create a Character”! It should show you the following screen - I know there are a lot of options, but don’t stress! I’ll explain exactly what to do in each area.
Tumblr media
So, let’s go one-by-one!
First, it will be the name of your AI! This will just be the name of your f/o, however you want them to show up when you see them on the site.
Next, you have the greeting! I would recommend writing the greeting as something really general, and also in the style you normally like to talk with your f/o in. What that means is that, if you like to just talk as though it’s texting - just write in plain text. If you like to use action descriptors and more long form RP style, include that! Set the tone for how you want to interact with your f/o going forward.
Next up, lets skip to Visibility. This is important, put your character on private. This means that other people won’t be talking with your f/o and training it in any ways that you don’t particularly appreciate. Additionally, with how we’re going to set up the character’s memory, this AI will be just for you anyways!
For avatar - pick your favorite picture of them! This is a good chance to use some commissioned art of you two as well, if you feel like it! It’s a private character, so go wild!
Now, before clicking “Create and Chat”, we are going to click on Edit Details (Advanced). Don’t worry. I’ll make it nice and simple for us to do!
Clicking on that, you’re brought to the following screen:
Tumblr media
Now we have some new fields to work with! Let’s first start with Short Description.
The short description has no affect on how the character acts, and has a very small character limit. Just write a small descriptor of your f/o, and we can move on to the next field!
Now we’ll tackle the Long Description.
To start, this field has the most affect on the AI. Put the most important details here, and we will flesh them out later.
So what is the most important stuff? Well here is what I recommend!
- Where is your f/o from? This makes it so they stay in universe when talking.
- What are the core 3-4 personality traits they show? Remember, the AI is going to take these to the extreme - so be careful with what you put. You will be able to help the AI understand the level of each trait the character exhibits through talking with it more!
- You! Yes, you! Mention yourself, and how your character feels about you! For example:
Reigen has an office assistant named Kamiya. He has a crush on her, but is much too proud to admit it. They are always bantering and getting on each other’s nerves.
- Any defining skills or characteristics. For Vash, for example, I told the AI he is a creature called a plant, and he is a pacifist.
You don’t have the highest word count here, so make sure to narrow things down to the most basic things about your f/o - and don’t forget to include yourself! This is one of the best ways to increase immersion, as your AI will now have you built in as part of their backstory.
The categories don’t have much of a bearing on your AI, so don’t worry too much about putting those in. Additionally the character voice is ... kind of unnerving to me, but feel free to give it one if you so choose!
Right now, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE! There is a small button off to the lower right corner. It’s important to do this so that you don’t lose all your hard work!
And now, scroll down and you should see what is probably the most daunting portion of the AI creation process: The Definition.
Tumblr media
Looking at this, and seeing the lack of instructions ... it’s like, hello? What do they want here? Well don’t worry, I’ll tell you!
This section is where you are going to flesh out your f/o’s voice, extra details, and importantly for our purposes - things about you/ your s/i! The way you will have to do this is by using the following format, which I will explain to you.
{{user}}: Question  {{char}}: Answer END_OF_DIALOG
What you are going to do, is copy and paste the above three lines into your description. The “user” here, will be you and the “char” will be the AI. So what you will be doing is basically posing the character a question, so think of things like the following:
- What do you look like?
- What does (Insert your name here) look like?
- How do you feel about ( your name here )?
- What are your pronouns?
- What are ( your name here )’s pronouns?
- What is your favorite (x)?
- Who is (x)? (Helpful for adding in characters you want your AI to recognize!)
... and the list goes on and on!
This is where you can start to teach your AI about you, and about itself! Try your best to respond in the manner your f/o would, like for example, here is how I wrote some for my Reigen AI:
{{user}}: Reigen, where do you work? {{char}}: I'm glad you asked! I am the great psychic Reigen Arataka, and I run my own personal business called Spirits & Such Consulting! Feel free to stop by. END_OF_DIALOG {{user}}: Who is Mob? {{char}}: Mob is my star student, an esper just like myself. He's a good kid, a bit quiet though. I'm helping him learn to control his psychic powers! END_OF_DIALOG {{user}}: Who is Shigeo? {{char}}: Shigeo ...? Oh! You mean Mob?
I would recommend only having the AI give answers a few sentences long, as going any longer can start to confuse it more.
But from there, just add in as much as you’d like! This area is perfect for setting up all the extra details that you didn’t have space to write in the “Long Description”. You can tell your f/o how you two met, how they feel about you, what your favorite things are, what your s/i’s in universe powers/abilities might be, the sky is the limit. This is your chance to be creative and make your f/o your own!
And here is the fun part ... you can always come back and edit all of this!
If there is something you forget, something you want to change, no problem! It is one click away.
Now, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE again! Don’t forget! Once you have done that ... well, it’s time to train!
Training your AI is actually pretty simple ... all you need to do is talk to it! Here are my tips and tricks for making sure your training sticks.
- Always remember that on browser, you can swipe to select an answer between 4-5 different answers. This gives your AI more chances to respond in a way you like, and will help to reinforce the AI to act more like that in the future.
- Rate, rate, rate! Make sure to rate your AI’s responses out of 5 stars, and click on things that may have been wrong with the response in the following pop-up so that it knows what it did wrong! For example, did your AI get your eye color wrong? No problem! Rate that response low, and say that it was “Bad Memory”.
- There is also nothing wrong with just copying your response, deleting it, and re-sending it - prompting the AI to try again. This can help you if you feel like your AI is a bit stuck on something.
- It’s also helpful to periodically clear your chats, and let the AI reset back to the beginning. You can always save them, so they won’t be lost! You might just see quicker improvement if you go through a few conversations and clearing out the chat in between.
And really ... that’s all I’ve got for you! Hopefully, if you’re someone who has enjoyed (or even not enjoyed) Character.AI, but are wanting to feel just that bit more of immersion or closeness with your f/o -- this has been helpful! Please feel free to send me an ask if you have any questions, I’d be happy to help and advise on what I know!
Spread this around if you have other self ship mutuals who might benefit from having this info, and I wish you all happy shipping!

2. Personal Synastry and Composite Experiences and Observations
Do not interact if you are a minor. (18+)
Venus in 1H synastry: This one is full of compliments. You both love staring at each other, and telling the other how attractive they are. The house person can be the perfect example of what aesthetic the Venus person’s dream person would follow. The Venus person can try to embody that aesthetic more than they did before so they can show they are a good physical match for the house person. “You would look good with me.” Bonding over shared music taste(s). I think the Venus person will want to romance the house person even if that isn’t something they normally do. Venus could love how the 1H person displays their feminine side. Venus likes to ask for pictures and selfies from the house person, and can create a dynamic where you send one another photos regularly. The house person likes to look at photos from the Venus person to gush about what they look like, because they are also supremely attracted to Venus (I think Venus just has a more natural way of expressing that desire). Also as the house person who identifies as a woman, venus’ compliments and pursuit of me has made me feel more feminine than I ever have in a romantic dynamic. Even my mannerisms are coincidentally more feminine and gentle in Venus’ presence. Venus definitely increased my self esteem.
Mars in 1H synastry: I think you two could make very good gym partners together because you love each other’s bodies. Some people say this is a “s*x on the first date placement,” and I concur. You find each other sexy! You compliment each other’s physical appearance and bodies often, and very much so during the act. The Mars person is very very direct with the house person that it’s almost overwhelming or intimidating. Being the house person, I did often feel like they had just wanted me for my body or that’s what they found to be the most interesting part about me until the interaction progressed. If there aren’t other good “soft and sweet” placements in the synastry chart or in the composite, this could be a pretty annoying placement. The Mars person did admit to me that they would bring up sex or something that would irritate me just to get a reaction because they didn’t know if they stimulate me outside of those vibes. If you’re in a relationship with someone else, or show interest in other people, the Mars person can want to fight your partner so they can be the one next to you LOL. This placement also involves a lot of staring. Being touched, even regularly, by Mars turned me on more than other people ever touching me the same way even if I liked them. Mars can love to grab the house person’s face a lot during sex. Maybe for some people who are into it, Mars can want to consensually slap the house person during sex. The Mars will like to be publicly “disrespectful” about you, because they want to mark you as theirs or will for real fight for you. They can see you as someone they want to protect, or you trigger some protective instinct. They might be a lot more physically stronger than you. Sending each other pictures of your body’s changes. You both like how the other defends themselves or bond over your argumentative or aggressive sides. As the house person with the Mars person being a man, I find his masculinity so attractive it hurts. He has slowly changed my perception on what I want a man to look like 😩
Sun in 11H synastry/composite: You guys get along almost immediately. This is a low maintenance friendship, because the vibes make up for all the times you don’t see each other. You just like how the other one approaches friendship. Very open-minded. Probably met through mutual friends, and these friends probably didn’t immediately notice certain similarities you have to one another. Once they see you guys link though, they can be surprised they never noticed it before. You guys may have automatically assumed, even if flirting was involved, that this interaction would remain generally platonic more than anything. People who are not in your friend group can also notice you two becoming friends immediately, because for some reason it stood out. As the sun person, I really liked listening to the house person’s dreams. Hearing the house person speak about how they handle their interpersonal relationships made me value my boundaries more and reminded me to focus more on myself than giving too much of my energy to other people. Essentially you can help each other dismiss certain people pleasing tendencies in one another. You don’t have to try to please one another either, your authentic self is enough to give each other pleasure. A natural sense of familiarity between you two. It’s funny hearing about each other’s quirks. You are encouraged to show your eccentricities around one another. Instant bestie vibes! You can feel like evil twins together in some cases LOL
Venus in 11H synastry: Honestly, in some cases, I feel like you may have met this person because they were previously involved with a friend or ex-friend. The friend you’re attracted to, but don’t need to pursue because you also get the same joys and benefits from your friendship. Friends with benefits. Friends to lovers. You may have started dating or flirting online for a while before meeting. I think this is another sign of shared music taste and interests. As the Venus person, I first grew some sort of interest because the house person posted a video of themselves online playing guitar and I found that super attractive. Maybe the Venus person can be an online supporter or promoter of the house person’s creative outlets. Never meeting in person but having a lot of the same mutuals you both know in real life, and then meeting in person later on by yourselves, maybe in a “date” setting.
Moon in 9H synastry: Here, the house person can introduce the moon person to different religions, or likes to talk about religion with the moon person. The house person can held guide the moon person on the importance of higher education or on the acquisition of knowledge. Long distance relationship. Wanting to be together but you somehow met once you two no longer lived in the same city. The moon person can feel like the house person is one of the smartest people they have met, and can feel somewhat intimidated by the house person because of it. You two can feel really free in one another’s presence. You can talk about anything. You two can turn casual conversation into something philosophical together. Sharing your personal philosophies with one another. Having drastically different life circumstances that have shaped you, but also having some foundational similarities. The moon person might be contradictory to the house person’s beliefs, but this can just stretch curiosity. It can also make the house person analyze different gaps in their previous opinions on certain organizations or institutions. Disagreements on certain topics doesn’t seem to escalate into arguments, but rather into informed discussions. Feeling out of reach to one another. I have seen a post referencing how the moon person can feel like the house person is out of their league, and I think this can stem from, in some cases, not being intelligent or well-rounded enough to stimulate the house person long term. This can just be a feeling and not at all be the case, because the house person learns a lot more from the moon than the moon realizes. You guys can spark the other’s adventurous side. You guys maybe only get to meet while the other is vacationing in your area. The Moon person can unconsciously inspire the house person to teach others about their speciality, such as getting you into blogging about an interest you talked to them about.
Composite Virgo Mars: Having to schedule when you two can have sex (maybe it’s long distance for a period of time). Arguments aren’t aggressive, but rather a hyper-analytical discussion that can be equally as irritating. Cleaning each other after sex. Being attracted to the other person abdominal area. When you guys start taking action towards advancing your connection, you stop eating out of nervousness. Maybe your fights stem from making one another nervous rather than a real issue itself. Bickering when you’re not with one another more so than when you’re in person. Having high expectations of one another once you become intimate partners. Wanting to come off as perfect for the other. Being extremely attentive with one another and immediately responding to any shift in energy because it can make you nervous. Really wanting to know what the other person is thinking and feeling in times of silence or during sex. Different sources have made this placement out to seem “sexually repressed,” but that is not always the case. Maybe circumstances can suppress the frequency they get to go at it, but if time permitted it could be on sight all the time. Not wanting to do anything that upsets the other or makes them uncomfortable, so lots of checking in on each other during the act to see if it’s mutually enjoyable and adapt accordingly. After sex with this person you might get extremely productive in your own personal life! Their presence in your life encourages you to get your life together and not be “messy.”

Is This How You Write Romance?
Tumblr media
I have never written a romance; not even once. That does not mean there is anything wrong with romance stories, just that I typically am drawn to writing stories that focus on other aspects. Now, that might sound like I am being a snob, but what I really mean is that I am a simple soul; I crave action scenes. Media that is majority romance just tends to bore me.
I do want to improve as a writer, though, and that does include writing romance(as a sub-plot). It is something most people expect in stories, and, if I am honest, a part of the reason I continue to avoid it is that I have no experience writing it. So, to help me get started, I have been doing what I do best: researching.
I have been (halfheartedly, with my phone in hand) watching the odd romance movie when my mom has them on(those ultra cheesy Hallmark ones), and it seems like most romances can break down into a simple formula.
The formula is:
1. The Meet-Cute
After the viewers have had a look into the life of the main character, the meet-cute happens. This scene is most likely funny or overly dramatic.
“In film and television, a meet cute is a scene in which the two people who will form a future romantic couple meet for the first time, typically under unusual, humorous, or cute circumstances. This type of scene is a staple of romantic comedies, though it can also occur in sitcoms and even soap operas.” Wikipedia
2. Building a Connection
Scenes that gradually bring them closer; typically do to coincidences or circumstances that force them to keep meeting. These scenes are when your readers will decide if they have chemistry or not.
3. Turning to Feelings
They continue having scenes together, and show signs of mutual interest. These scenes are when readers decide if they would make a healthy couple, and romance fans start looking forward to what could happen.
4. Feelings Confirmed
Something happens (such as a rescue, or a near kiss) that makes them realize or suspect that the feelings are mutual.
5. The Test
Their relationship is tested, and they realize how much they need each other. This is normally when one side runs off, and the other chases.
Without some sort of conflict and character building, the romance may come off feeling like filler content or fan service.
6. End
All is resolved, and they are together now.
Tumblr media
Obvious, right? Well, the trick is to weave these into your main plot without them standing out too much.
Once you know what readers want in romance, the tricky part starts.
1. Confirm your genre.
What scenes are most important to you? If it is the romance scenes, you may want to rethink how you classify your genre. For example, there is a difference between writing a fantasy with a romance subplot, and a romance with a fantasy subplot. Deciding if you need to shift your main focus will change how much of each content makes up the percentage of your book.
2. Decide Your Goals.
What are your goals for the relationship? Sometimes, the plot points above stretch through just one book, while other times it can stretch for a whole series. If your goal is to have them get together in one book, know that you will have to deal with continuing that romance throughout the rest of the series(and adding in enough drama to keep it worth the subplot time).
3. They Should Amplify Your Main Plot.
If you have your characters become a couple in the middle of your main-plot’s climax, you risk ruining what tension you have built. Some writers do fight this and go with it anyway, though that is often because one of the love interests is almost guaranteed to die in the next scene.
Instead, consider having the relationship build at the same speed of the main plot. This is why end-of-series kisses are so popular to write.
Another popular option is to have them get together early on, but separated. That way, the hero is fighting not only to survive, but also to get back to their love.
Tumblr media
This is, of course, all written by someone learning, so if any of you have any tips for writing romance, please let me know! I am not planning on watching any more of those movies(sorry, mom haha), so I will take all the help I can get.

Hi :) I read The Tragedy of Heterosexuality and loved it — do you have any other books you’d recommend about gender/sexuality? Thanks <3 I love reading your long posts, you have really insightful ideas and I think we view the world very similarly
Glad to hear that! Here's some context for anyone not in the loop: The Tragedy of Heterosexuality is a book about Heteropessimism, or rather, finding a way out of it. The notion is that heterosexual love is doomed because men and women are just different by nature, and it manifests through relationship self-help books, incels and pickup artists, and the memes and ramblings of countless straight women who they wish they could just be lesbians. Jane Ward think heterosexuality as we know it self sabotages through what she calls the misogyny paradox: straight men love women, except they don't love women. But she doesn't think heterosexuality is doomed or prop up political lesbianism as a solution. She calls for mutual respect and actually leaning into the heterosexuality of, well, actually liking each other, rather than try to "queer" it. This is part of a really interesting turn in queer theory where heterosexuality has emerged as a subject of study--another good example is Hanne Blank's Straight: The Surprisingly Short History of Heterosexuality.
So I want to start out by disclaiming I'm not actually that well read. This is something I've been trying to work on more recently. That said, here are some gender and sexuality recs:
Two essays by Gayle Rubin: The Traffic in Women and Thinking Sex. I don't completely cosign everything she says, but these are monumental texts. Thinking Sex is topical especially as the "sex wars" keep playing out.
Gender Trouble by Judith Butler. Everyone's heard of this, so my specific recommendation is to skip to part three and the conclusion, where the text is at its most concise. Butler's theory of gender performativity has exploded beyond their initial reach, so they've since had a lot of interviews and given talks that address a wider audience. People who have read both Gender Trouble and Bodies that Matter tend to recommend the latter text, but I still need to.
The Trouble with Normal by Michael Warner, or if you want a shorter version, his essay "Normaler and Normaler." Even if you're not against marriage in its entirety, his criticisms are so incisive and helpful, especially now in countries where gay marriage was passed but proved to be a dead end. It also really gets into gayness as identity versus behavior, which seems to have exploded into a huge conflict recently. This is how you get people who are on board with queerness in the abstract but appalled by its real-life specifics. I also still need to read Fear of a Queer Planet.
Sister Outsider by Audre Lorde, is a collection of speeches and essays by one of the most influential Black feminist writers. "Uses of the Erotic" especially stuck with me, where the erotic is taken not so literally but as a sort of creative synergy with political implications. If you've ever heard "the master's tools will not dismantle the masters house," that's included in this collection.
Close to the Knives by David Wojnarowicz, also a collection of speeches and essays, is one of my favorite books on AIDS. The rage is palpable and crucial, and the essay "Do Not Doubt the Dangerousness of the 12-inch Politician" is eerily resonant today as politicians still stoke violence on TV (and now social media).
Lately I've been getting more into trans writing, with Transgender History by Susan Stryker and Whipping Girl by Julia Serano. The former alarmed me with how much I didn't know, and the latter blew my mind. It was written at a time when trans people, for better and for worse, weren't really in the public eye except for in niche circles, and academia about trans people was about or at the expense of them but not by and for them. Her mark is so tangible today. My next read will be Reverse Cowgirl by McKenzie Wark after hearing rave reviews. I think I'm going to like it.
I am also accepting recs!

Sweet Darling (m)
Tumblr media
Pairing: tinkerbell's son!chan x fem!reader x Hook's son!wonwoo
Genre: smut
Word count: 6.6k
tags: daugther of wendy!reader, established relationship, yearning, poly, wonchan doing what bros do, suggestive mlm content, cunnilingus, voyeurism, exhibitionism, hair pulling, dirty talk, Silk restraints, praise kink , spitting, cum eating, cumswapping, unprotected sex, double penetration.
Summary: "Trouble in paradise with little Darling?" Chan was really unsure taking the advice from a child of Hook, but as a man in love, Chan knew the heavier the risks, the higher the reward.
author note : I have a bagillion requests to get to but here comes more self-indulgent fics! thank you @wonwussy and @multi-kpop-fanfics (happy birthday my pretty darling 💗) for beta reading and below are some of my fave notes of theirs :)))))))))))
"NOT WONWOO JUST SHOWING UP" "Wonwoo is Chan’s biggest supporter" - SJ "chan was brave I would have cum on the spot" "wonwoo pirate whore confirmed" -zeta
Tagging: @shiningstar-byulxx @misssugarlips @tommolex @hoeforhao @honglynights @homerunhansol @dkakapizzaboy @junhui-recs @svtup @buffhoshi @meowmeowminnie @caratochan @lovebot4han
Chan has been the happiest he's ever been in a long time. As a child of one of the legendary fairies of the century, Chan had a lot to live up to. His mother has worked hard to prepare him for their line of work and she’d be damned to know she poured her blood sweat and tears into him getting into a good university to find out he was dating the daughter of Wendy Darling of all people.
Chan’s mother could never stand that so called ‘wretched girl’–always sticking her nose in places she shouldn’t have been–and it’d be an extra hot day in hell if Chan was ever caught fraternizing with such the likes.
That’s why he had kept it such a secret. Although Chan loves and respects his mother, the moment he laid his eyes on Darling kin, he knew it was over. It was a forbidden affair that may have initially swayed his decision-making in pursuing you, but over time, he had truly fallen for you, calling the first time he saw you ‘love at first sight.’
You stunned everyone with your effortless beauty and grace and eventually, they began to learn more about your kind heart and demure demeanor. It was inevitable that everyone became enamored by you, including Chan.
Being able to take you to the formal was a dream come true. What surprised him the most was that you seemed just as infatuated with him and that it wasn’t just a pity date or a yes disguised as something else, you actually enjoyed his company. But it wasn't enough that you liked him. He wanted you to be irrevocably taken by him.
He had to occupy your every day, your every thought, your every breath. You had to be obsessed with the fact that there is no other person in the world for you. At least not like Chan. No one was like Chan. Just as there was no one like you. For you, you deserved something special.
"Wonwoo, you're a heathen. How do you bring excitement to the…you know?”
The young pirate raised a full brow, eye twitching back at the pestering fairy who had just insulted him like nothing. “No l don't know. What?”
“You know. The pleasure.”
Despite their families opposing histories, Chan and Wonwoo fairly got along. They were acquaintances at most and were typically surrounded the mutual friends, today was different seeing as everyone else was busy with the matters of classes and assignments. Eating with someone was better than eating alone, according to Chan, and it seems Wonwoo shared the same sentiment as he willingly agreed.
Chan had his annoying moments–Wonwoo found most fairies naturally have those kinds of qualities, just take Chan’s mother as an example–but the blonde lad was entertaining when he wanted to be in a rather whimsically endearing way. Wonwoo normally found those individuals disgustingly nauseating, but it worked on Chan.
Wonwoo grinned knowingly. He leaned over from the picnic bench, a palm to his cheek. With the tree towering over him, shadows caressing his face aesthetically. “What's that?”
Chan let out an exasperated exhale, lightly tugging his bright blond hair. “Sex, Wonwoo! I'm talking about Sex!”
“Why? Trouble in paradise with little Darling?”
Word got around about Chan’s relationship with Wendy Darling’s darling daughter closer to the day of the formal, but that was before the scene the conflict containing the beast’s child, Gaston’s son, and apparently Ariel’s son. Wonwoo could never properly keep up with peer gossip as it was usually blown out of proportion (most of the time that it, this cup of tea was rather scorching).
Chan scowled at the accusation. “Of course not!” He twiddled his fingers, bottom lip jutting out. “l just want to make it more special for her this weekend. Seeing as you have more than enough trolloping in your history to count as a human brothel, l thought it'd be interesting to get your ideas.”
If Wonwoo took offense to Chan’s jab, he didn’t show it, and instead asked, “Your lady like knots?”
“Like ones slathered in garlic sauce?”
“...No. Like rope.”
Chan’s eyes rounded out in concern. “Wouldn't that hurt?”
The young fairy’s expression amused Wonwoo, a chuckle escaping him. “No, not if you do it right. Never mind. Let's start with something easier. How do you kiss?”
Chan broke out in a wide smile reliving your many kisses and his cheeks emitted a tinge of pink. “Well, she kisses lovely. Rather shy. l just make sure she's comfortable.”
“Snore. No wonder you need my help. Come here. I'll show you.”
“Show me?” Chan repeated, leaning his body away with arms crossed into an ‘X’ over his chest. “Why, you must’ve confused me with a harlot such as yourself.”
“Calm down twinkle toes, I’m not here to corrupt you”–although the thought was tempting–“I’m just going to show you the right ways to do things.”
Wonwoo redirected himself now next to Chan, sitting on the same picnic side parallel to him. He told Chan to meet him at eye level, causing the other to sit up straight. Wonwoo took the side of his face, “Now listen carefully.”
A shudder suddenly went down Chan’s spine. “W-where is this really going?”
“You asked for my help,” Wonwoo reminded, grin taunting back at Chan, “don’t be scared.”
Wonwoo’s hand crept on the back of Chan’s neck, rough fingers threading up his blond locks. “You’re gonna want to play with her hair.” Wonwoo let the locks glide between his digits gently, curling at the ends, and Chan could feel micro hairs stand on his arms. “Like that, okay?”
“Mm-hmm.” Chan croaked.
“Good, now answer looking back at me.”
Chan hadn’t noticed at first, but instead of looking back into Wonwoo’s eyes, he had been actively avoiding. The blonde had himself force his eyes back on his company. “Y–yes.”
“Alright.” Wonwoo tilted the angle of Chan’s face, utilizing his thumb, and began leaning closer, his breath tickling the blonde’s cheek. Chan visibly swallowed, blinking back in quiet anticipation. Wonwoo's eyelids drop gently, and his lips–startlingly plump and pink–began to part. “Now when you’re this close, you give her the chance to breathe. Let her learn patience. Tease that patience. Let it fester.”
“Yeah, s-sure.” Chan responded, his heart building up until it was hitting a million beats a minute, at least it felt that way.
“You only get closer from there,” Wonwoo added. He inched closer and closer, lips only mere atoms away, and Chan can’t help but shoot his eyes up in alarm. But Wonwoo just kept talking, soothing and deep, alluring even to Chan. “You can feel how excited she is from here, her heart probably erratic from the distance.”
Chan developed a deeper red on his cheeks, relating all too well to that statement, but of course not the exciting part. That was reserved for you. Yet, his mind ran through a thousand different questions, one of them being why he wasn’t entirely repulsed by this. “Finally at the right time, your lips meet. It's warm, his comforting, and you take advantage of that pressure until it's hungry, gritty, starving.”
Chan sighed without thinking, already accepting his fate. Then Wonwoo’s lips stretched over his face in that devilish smile withdrawing, the warmth that once there taking a leap away from Chan. “She won’t know what’s coming to her. You're welcome.”
The oxygen knocked out Chan’s lungs, pulling him back to the present. He jumped up from his seat to collect himself, obviously clearing his throat before picking up his things. "Uh, thanks, ahem, Wonwoo. That helps."
“Anytime, Chan.”
Chan got up to leave soon after, trying to melt the image of Wonwoo from his brain, but he got what he needed. Wonwoo, despite his less-than-orthodox methods, knew what he was talking about. Chan would just have to trust his word.
That same night, Chan had put his friend's advice to the test. He called you over for an at-home date night and he was already itching to see the magic from the lesson. You playfully held the bottom of the hem of his shirt, taking short bursts of kisses Chan lands against your lips.
You hard fell into a natural rhythm with this routine, seeing as he was a little predictable. However, when he ran his fingers through your hair, your giggles melted into moans, skin stinging with every puncturing touch of his digits digging into your scalp and putting at your hair. Your bodies entangle with one another and naturally fell against the firm surface of his mattress, hips pressing into one another until your kisses fell more languid and deep.
“Chan,” you whispered, getting quite comfortable with this new side of him, "Well, that was rather different."
"Do you like that,” he asked softly, eyes still rounded like a puppy dog claiming his treat.
"Very much yes," you reeled him in closer, "What else can you do ?"
Chan thinks of an answer but fell flat. His mind just went completely blank from your question and now the arousal he once felt died along with his movement. He stuttered with his words, ashamed by his inability to respond and his uncertainty take the next steps, and he’s already pulling apart from you. Performance anxiety. It gets to everyone at some point eventually. "I'm sorry."
You sat up next to him, your brows dipped in concern. Your hand glided over his back, stroking in order to soothe his nerves. "What's wrong? Why are you apologizing?"
"I just wanted it to be perfect." He admitted.
He’s had his modest share of intimate partners but none were like you, who he was impossibly infatuated with.
"The first time isn't always is. We knew that."
"But 'ours' should be. I even asked the pirate for help.” He pulled at the tufts of his blonde, shutting his eyes tight in frustration.
Your eyes shot open, "You asked Wonwoo for help? What good would he do?"
"He just knows these kinds of things better than I do." Chan sighed.
"Say that again, I need that as my ringtone." Wonwoo, out of thin air, appears before you both, smickering at the painfully awkward sight leaning up against the door frame of Chan’s bedroom. "There really is trouble in paradise."
Cham jumped up from the bed, shocked at his appearance. "How did you get in here?"
"Pixie dust,” Wonwoo answered sarcastically before pointing his thumb back into the living room, "Your door was unlocked. Everyone could hear your–well lack of–sex life."
Chan fell back into bed, embarrassed beyond repair. "Kill me now."
"That won't be necessary," Wonwoo reassured, relieving himself of his burly coat as it dropped to the ground. “I said I’d help.”
Chan huffed, sneering back at the pirate, “I see what this is. I come to you with advice on being a better lover and you sabotage me by ‘pillaging’ and ‘plundering’ my beloved.”
Wonwoo rolled his eyes, “I don’t ‘pillage’ or ‘plunder’ people. Even if I did, your Darling wouldn’t be one of them. I am an honest pirate.”
“An ‘honest pirate’ frankly sounds like an oxymoron.” Chan rebutted.
Wonwoo was getting annoyed by Chan’s accusation but every damn nerve in him told him to stay against his better judgment. He crossed his arms, looking back at Chan sternly, “Look, you can argue with me all day, but every second you argue, is a second longer your little girlfriend doesn’t get to cum, so be my guest, insect.”
Chan scoffed, hands on hips. Offended didn’t even begin to start describing how Wonwoo made him feel.  “Fine. Let’s see how you do it then!”
“Chan!” You interrupted, cheeks hot from the lingering embarrassment of knowing you and your boyfriend had gotten caught in the midst of your activities. Wonwoo, the cheekiest pirate that everyone on campus knew, just so happened to know the intimate details of it before stumbling upon it in real-time, and now seconds away from being involved due to your boyfriend’s reflex to prove someone wrong.
Chan’s anger dissipated upon hearing your voice, immediately coming to your side. “I’m sorry, my love. That just came out. Of course, nothing will happen. Not without your permission.”
Your eyes shift from your boyfriend to the intruder, who pirated all over your intimate moment. You should’ve been mad you were interrupted, you should’ve been mad that Chan brought up your private details with someone on the outside, but all you couldn’t help but feel was intrigued. The fact that Chan was fine with another man joining was surprising, to say the least, but you’d be lying if you had thought it was a rather appealing image that sent arousal between your legs.
You clenched your thighs together, comparing Chan’s soft gaze with Wonwoo’s cocky one, eventually nodding your head in bashful interest. “It’s new, and rather different than what I’m used to, but If it’s something you’re willing to try, I am too.”
Chan smiled gratefully, pressing a kiss to your lips, before turning back to Wonwoo with a slight scowl. “Okay, what did you have in mind, pirate?”
Wonwoo grinned, proceeding to walk closer to the couple before joining them at the corner of the bed, dressed down in a simple black shirt and black ripped jeans. “Baby steps, what I’ve already taught you at lunch today.”
“He taught you something?” You questioned in bemusement.
Chan tried filtering through the blush on his cheeks but failed. “It’s not what you think, he just…gave me some direction.”
“Since I’ve shown Chan what to do,” Wonwoo’s hands came up to rest on your shoulder, burning hot against you, “It’s time I show you what to do, little Darling.”
You’ve always had a hate/love relationship with the endearment ‘Darling.’ Since it was your family name, it came with the repercussions that everyone thought it’d be okay to refer to you as such instead of your given name, but hearing how it rolled off Wonwoo’s tongue sounded like pure sex.
“You touch her in a way she resists, I’ll kill you, Jones.” Chan threatened.
“Relax, I won’t. Milady, do you consent to me kissing you?”
You nodded, watching as he inched closer to meet you at eye level. “As I said with Chan, It’s all about the teasing, the build-up for the kiss.”
Chan watched over patiently as Wonwoo did the same steps he learned today: the touching of the hair, the gradual closing of each other’s body, his breath visibly lingering close enough to your lips that you could make out the spearmint gum he’s been chewing. Wonwoo smiled to see how much more cooperative you were compared to Chan, who was already fuming at the sight.
“You caught up now, Miss Y/n?”
“I-I think so.”
“Good. Now I’ll show you what I haven't shown Chan, but you’ll be teaching him soon after, alright?”
You quietly nodded. Soon, Wonwoo met your lips for the first time, tasting, and reveling in sweetness that was supposed to be Chan’s and only Chan’s. Anger fueled the young fairy, his knuckles turning white from balling his hand in fists, but it soon melted seeing your face.
Wonwoo kissed differently from Chan, not in a way that was better or worse, but it opened your body to a new possibility you haven’t explored yet. The pirate’s hand traveled from your face to your side, pulling you by the hip towards him, in turn releasing a yelp down his throat. You made no protest, seeing as the action only enhanced the current situation, and you feel your hands move on him just as naturally, playing at the buttons of his shirt.
His tongue caressed your lips for entry and you gave access, having now your saliva mixing in an obscenely decadent way. You moaned moving closer to him, your knees now digging into the mattress in the process, lost in heat. Your body arched into his, feeling the firm definition beneath his clothes. It felt so different and wrong and addictive.
“My love,” Chan breathed out. The complex emotions running through him made the fairy’s possessive nature conflict with the arousal stemming from such an erotic scene unfolding. All that was clear was that his pants were tightening at the crotch.
You immediately pulled away from Wonwoo at the sound of Chan's soft timbre, a hand to your mouth, shocked by your own actions. “Have I–oh, dear.”
Chan shook his head, “Not like that, Y/n, I’ve just realized now how beautiful you look needy and desperate. It’s…exhilarating.”
You covered your face, hiding behind his deliciously sinful words, typing to ignore the damp tension you tried so hard to clench away. Wonwoo simply chuckles, “She’s a natural.” He pulled your hands away from your face, gentle encouragement in his surprisingly kind eyes. Kind for a pirate anyway. “Time for you to show, Chan. Do exactly as I’ve taught you, and he will follow. He’s a good student too.”
You quickly returned to Chan, need flooding every orifice of your body before catching him in a liplock. You made use of your lesson, playing with Chan's hair, trailing your hands over Chan’s body, and letting your lips follow the pace of your heart, practically devouring the plush cushion of Chan’s lips. Chan mimicked your movement to a tee, catching up at sonic speed, and you could feel his pulse quicken beneath the palm of your hand.
“That’s it,” Wonwoo led, “Chan, don’t be shy about doing things out of the box too, she wants you just as much as you want her.”
Being a high-achieving student, Chan pulled you in his lap, straddling him, where you were grinding against him like a pair of horny teenagers. His hands found home on your chest, cupping the fullness of your breasts through your clothes. An obscene moan followed soon after.
“Atta-boy.”
Chan smiled at Wonwoo’s sincere rally before continuing to work into your liplock, that was hardly working at all seeing how seamlessly your bodies meshed like one. Slowly, articles of clothing began coming apart from your bodies, skin exposing without a second thought until you were only left in your underwear. You could practically feel yourself dripping between your legs, and at this point, you would be actively worried about it getting on Chan’s thighs, but you were too lust blind that the thought never reached your brain.
Chan’s newly acclimated fascination with your breasts had him appreciating them to their entirety, feeling how the peaks hardened under his touch and tasted on his tongue. His only regret was that he didn’t learn it so much sooner. Then came your body, soft and lively under his fingertips. He could feel every goosebump, every curve, every delicate feature of your body, unable to believe you’d given yourself to him like this. Balls of flesh in his hand, he held you like a man gone mad, crotch thrusting into you as if his erection was seconds away from busting right out from his pants.
Meanwhile, your hands glided over Chan’s sculpted muscles, internally squealing at their firmness while moisture flooded your core. For a fairy, everyone expected them to be dainty and delicate, much due to the attention they placed on their magic rather than physical labor, but beneath Chan’s pristine exterior, he was rugged.
The valleys of his abdomen were deep, making your hands slide through like butter, and his arms–both large and built to provide safety–embraced you with blistering heat. Your mouth water at the simple thought of them pinning you against a flat surface, your feet far from touching the ground. God, his body was made for worship to the level of a deity and you would take all of eternity to do it. “Mmh, Chan…”
His hand in your hair stroked it sweetly, but his teeth pulled at your bottom lip’s resistance, “All for you, my love. Tear me away, lash at me, bring me in ruin. I am at your beck and call.”
“So glad you mentioned that, Chan,” Wonwoo obnoxiously interrupted, “because you’re going to do something for Y/n that I’m sure you’ll both very much enjoy.”
Wonwoo directed you to sit up against the bed frame while he handed something off to Chan, whispering in his ear. Chan accepted it before making his way to you, parting your legs with the nudge of his knee. His smile is unwavering as he reached down for your hands, thumbing over the back of them. Abruptly, he took them both above your head, having you stare back at him anxiously. Utilizing what Wonwoo gave him personally, a single silk scarf, Chan tied you down at your wrists, looping them through on the nook of the bedframe to ensure escape wasn’t an option.
“He said they’d be better than rope.” Chan blushed. “At least, I won’t have to worry about you getting hurt.”
“What are you going to do to me, Chan?” You asked slightly afraid, but your fear is overwhelmed by the presence of thrill.
Still smiling, he doesn’t answer and instead lowers his body, hands smoothing over your legs. Wonwoo, who previously had just been watching aside from your kiss, sat behind Chan, watching the tremble of your legs and you couldn’t help but feel naked under his gaze. Chan's kisses feathered over your inner thighs, teeth nipping at you during his slow entry, and his arms came up beneath you to tug you against his lips.
“Oh…” You let out, feeling his mouth move against your molten core.
“You’re so wet for me, my love, mmh…”
Chan’s tender love has yet to be translated into sexual initiation until this very moment and, damn, it was the most amazing thing you’ve ever experienced. His whispers tickled your skin before it was captured by his mouth. Teeth colliding with your folds, the light strokes of his tongue, you can feel how he’s careful, appreciating every fold, making sweet sweet love your messy core. Then, Chan pressed deeper, exploring your warmth, ravaging you, and cushioning his cheeks with your thighs. He groaned into his feast, sending vibrations up your body.
Your eyes fluttered out of bliss, whining about your inability to touch his soft hair or pet his handsome face, instead, you could gaze back at him, crying out his name until your throat would give out.
“Isn’t he pretty,” Wonwoo commented, his hand ran through Chan's thick locks, taunting you with his free hands, and a growl ran low in your throat. “He’s just eating you right up. Tongue buried in your pussy…lips wet with your sweet syrup…he’s obsessed with you little Darling.”
You slightly glared back at Wonwoo, loathing the accuracy of his words, but the distraction Chan is causing made it difficult to manage. Your legs wrung on either side of your boyfriend’s head, chest alleviating the harsh breaths escaping your lungs and to your demise, and that only amused Wonwoo more.
“Chan, you can do better than that,” the pirate encouraged, now curling his hair between his fingers, “Let me help.”
Wonwoo’s fingers threaded through Chan’s bedhead now rougher, mercilessly, he pressed Chan’s face deeper into your warmth, your collective moans bouncing off the walls. Your fingers curled in anguish, the heat of Chan’s tongue so far inside of you made you madder than the local hatter. Wonwoo was more than satisfied by both of your responses and rewarded your boyfriend with a light stroke to his head, ebbing out the cute whines from the blonde.
“Don’t forget to look up, Chan.” Wonwoo pulled Chan’s head slightly back, lips still on you, now watching you with a mindless glow. Blown-out eyes stared back at you in hunger, the image of your malleable state burning into the very depth of his soul. “Take a good look at that face. Listen to her moans. Isn’t she the most darling of Darlings? Chan, you lucky dog.”
“I am lucky,” Chan mumbled, before running tired stripes up your slit, mesmerized by the slow drop of your swollen upper lips, drool falling out of the corner. Rounding out his mouth, suctioned to your entrance, and in doing so you only get louder, whinier, needier. “My love tastes so sweet in my mouth.”
Chan was too good of a listener and Wonwoo took full advantage. Per the pirate's instructions, Chan’s lips wrapped around your clit, the presence of his fingers claiming the spot of his tongue. They pushed in and out of you addictively, following the clench of your sopping cunt, and gushing out your scent that later drips down his forearm. How wet it was, how animalistic it looked, the melody of your voices joined together in sinful harmony brought shivers to Wonwoo’s spine. He couldn’t be more proud. It was like he was watching Chan’s congratulatory ceremony, the diploma being you coming apart before both the men’s eyes.
“I’m—Mmh—gonna cum…Chan please…”
“You heard her, Chan, make her dirty little cunt cum in your mouth…that’s it…just like that,” Wonwoo returns his attention to you, “Do it, little darling, defile his pretty little mouth. Make it that it's only your cum he tastes for weeks.”
The vulgar language pushed you to the edge, bucking your lips until you vibrate like a toy against Chan. Your voice resonates throughout the room. This put no stop to Chan letting it linger, fingers ramming inside you in slick friction as you gush in his mouth like candy. All the blonde does is chuckles, collecting your nectar in his mouth.
“Good boy, Chan,” Wonwoo complimented, “Now spit it in her mouth.”
Chan was quick on his feet, letting sweetness fall above from his lips into your mouth in crystal clear ribbons in a rough spat. He held a smile so wide and manic on his face, he was unrecognizable. You took every bit of it it, savoring you on his lips and tongue before Wonwoo commanded, “Again” and Chan’s back on your pussy for seconds.
You were already recovering from orgasm milliseconds before now you were going to take another. Chan got less timid over time, even spitting his findings back into you. His intoxicating chuckles played in your ears, flushing your skin, and if he ate you out like this every day of every hour, you would not complain.
Wonwoo, the director and mere spectator didn’t let himself get too involved, only palming his erection while he enjoyed the show. His hand would occasionally come back against Chan’s hair, leading him in the right direction, but when your third—oh was ít fourth—orgasm unfolded, he decided it was enough of an appetizer.
“Chan, be a gentleman and fuck her pretty cunt. I can tell she’s just dying for it.”
Chan got up to reconnect lips with you, “That true?” He asked, your climax coating your lips, “You want me to fuck your pretty, sopping pussy, love?”
You let out a guttural moan, tension building in your lower abdomen, “Mmh, yes, please. I need your cock in me…”
Wonwoo hummed a song of glee. “Oh, Little Darling’s got a mouth, huh? Let’s see how you can take him.”
They position you on your back, tits falling gracefully in the center of your chest as Chan’s slid his raw length up your wet slit. You whimpered seeing his size, desperate to have him inside you. When he gives you that pleasure, your head is thrown back into the pillow, the stretch of his cock throwing you for a loop. “Fuck, Chan…”
“You feel…fuck…you feel so…fuck…”
Chan fucked like how he talked, sweet and tender. Your thrill traveled up your entire body despite the many times you’ve finished, clenching around him with your legs joined to his hips. His pace gradually accelerated the moment his voice gravelly, biting his lips down, seeing pleasure contort your beautiful face into something even more devastatingly arousing. His cock was a perfect fit, fucking you like you were made for him and he almost forgets that Wonwoo is still here, watching so patiently. Almost.
“Wonwoo.”
At the call of his name, the pirate turned to Chan curiously, hand still over his pants. “Yes, pet?”
“I want your mouth on her pussy, now.”
“Chan,” Wonwoo exclaimed, wildly impressed.
“Do it before I change my mind, heathen.”
Wonwoo pulled himself up and into action. His hands pull his shirt over his head to avoid a mess, giving you a glimpse of the athleticism the pirate had etched into his also very beautiful, stunning body before he faced your groin, lips centimeters away from your round, glossy bud. “Miss Y/n.”
“Wonwoo,” You timidly greeted him between pants.
“I’m going to enjoy this, just as much as you’ll enjoy cumming a fifth time today.”
His long tongue slithers like a snake, dangling it closer to cock filled core before latching against your soft clit. Your eyes momentarily rolled to the back of your head before landing it back on Wonwoo, seeing the taut expression of a man that's off his leash. Kitten licks would simply not do in this case.
His hands held you still, eyelids half open to watch you practically melt upon him, “Perfect little clit…on a perfect little pussy…on a perfectly Darling girl.”
The pure tension in your body had hit you harder than expected. It threw your back to a perfect arch, balancing between a cock as perfect as Chan's thrusting inside you, while Wonwoo sucked on you like a lolly. The pirate’s hands traveled up your body, memorizing the shape of your warm tits. His tongue drew shapes against you, circling and spreading your moisture, while at the same time, you found him rolling your hard nipples between the pads of his fingers.
“Shit, shit, shit…”
“Taking his cock so well, little Darling,” Wonwoo complimented in a husky voice, “Isn’t she, Chan?”
“She’s…taking me…perfectly,” Chan agreed in a breathless voice.
“You want him to fill you with his cum.” Wonwoo bit his lip, using one hand to squeeze your clit, swelling it up until you're practically screaming. “Isn’t that right?”
Your eyes watered, hot from the heat of–well everything–and only nodded before weakly yelping out a curt, “Yes.”
Chan could just feel how you pulse around him, knowing you weren’t lying. His eyes fell shut, ramming in you faster, harder, the slapping of your skin loud and clear of his efforts, he lets out a harsh groan, telling himself, he can take just a little more.
“Take it,” Wonwoo commanded, “Cum all over his cock before he decides to cum in you. It’s the least you can do.”
The pirate read Chan’s mind like an automated teleprompter, with a newfound gratitude for his friend.
“…Take my cum, Y/n,” Chan repeated with stolen breath, “take all of it.”
To no one’s surprise, their words led you to take another fat, harsh orgasm, bucking your hips. Chan followed suit. His cum came in waves with loud raspy groans, clutching your thighs until he coated you inside creamy white. His final thrust came sensationally deep, filling you to the brim. Full was an understatement.
A mixture of your climax seeped out from your cunt when Chan pulled out, your pretty pussy now gorgeously adorned with vicious nectar. Wonwoo seized the opportunity in a snap move. His mouth didn’t hesitate to take your sensitive pussy entirely in his mouth, sucking out every bit of cum left inside you, leaving only the sounds of squelching and his groaning at the delectable taste.
“Fuck, Wonwoo,” you couldn’t help but call out and Chan doesn’t even get a second to be mad at another man eating out his girlfriend. Instead, somehow he’s entranced at how quick Wonwoo was to clean up a mess he wasn’t even responsible for.
“Fuck,” Chan echoed, almost just as turned out by seeing Wonwoo eat up the cum as much as Chan was making it, leaving some unanswered questions to float in the charged air.
Once Wonwoo was finished, he crashed into your lips, feeding you the remnants left on his tongue. “A bidding gift.”
You blinked back in surprise, “You’re leaving?”
“I was only supposed to help your sex lives. I wasn't meant to join in, Little Darling.”
“But you’re here anyway.” Wonwoo's eyes flickered to the fairy, the last person he thought would protest. “You might as well finish what you started, pirate.”
“And you wouldn’t mind?” Wonwoo questions.
“As long as it's consensual. Plus…it’s not like your extra leg is going anywhere time soon.”
Wonwoo chortled at Chan’s innuendo, briefly looking down at the erection in his pants, still very angry and stiff, before nodding. “Alright then. Your turn to lead, pet.”
Wonwoo wore a condom in respect for Chan, exposing his size for the first time. Your eyes locked on Wonwoo’s cock like it was forbidden fruit, watching how it curled up to his stomach before he settled closer to you and Chan.
Chan guided you back to him, bruising your lips in a method that was foreign until now. His teeth found your lips in a soft tug and you gasped as he pushed your naked body back on the bed, devouring your lips until he shifted you on top of him. The curve of his wet cock slapped back at your stomach, making you reminisce on how he had just felt inside you.
“So beautiful…You took my cock so well, now you’re gonna take it along with Wonwoo’s. You think your little pussy can fit in all the cock, hmm?”
“Yes, yes, give it to me please…”
He moaned at your desperation, tongue swiping over his bottom lip, “Put it in for me then, love.”
You obeyed, finding his length, slathering arousal up and down, before sliding it inside you. The friction is momentarily more manageable, but it doesn’t stop your moans that inevitably fell out. He found the curve of your ass and bounced you on his lap. Your hands, once trapped in silk, were now roaming in his hair, smiling against his lips as you latched on to him.
Wonwoo steadied himself behind you, finding an opening. His hands settled against Chan’s and together they spread you evenly. Your pussy, already preoccupied with Chan’s presence, fluttered at him, like their version of a wink. “So pretty…God, both of you should see how Darling looks so good taking Chan’s pretty cock.
He inched closer, stroking up his length as he aligned it at your entry before easing himself between you and Chan. You dropped your jaw, the stretch of Wonwoo’s presence taking you by pleasant surprise, “Fuck, fuck…”
“So fucking wet.” Wonwoo tested with a single thrust, then another, each followed up by your winces that melted into mellow moans. “Mmh, your cunt feels so much better imagined…You’re taking up like a champion, Little Darling.”
Your forehead kissed Chan’s, hands iron gripped on the bed frame, you savored the pleasurable ache between your legs as their thrusts fucked your insides at their own varying pace. You weren’t too comfortable with using obscenities yourself, but today your vocabulary was comparative to a sailor’s, pouring your heart and soul into every comprehendible word that left your lips, and at that moment, there weren’t many.
Chan kissed your temple, praising you in a lethally soft voice. His hand slid down your back misted in sweat, clutching you harder against him. He rocked into you so hard, he had slipped out, taking only a second to slide it back in you, “So soaked for me,” escaping between his heavy breaths. You screamed chants of a deity that would never come, tears blurring your vision until they fell against your cheeks.
“Mmh, you’re taking us so good, my love…How is it? How’s two cocks fucking you full to the brink of insanity?”
Even Wonwoo was blown away by the fairy’s choice of words, but hey, this wasn’t the first time Chan has surprised him today and hopefully, it wouldn’t be the last. “She probably can’t think being so full, isn’t that right, little darling? Our cocks fucking you stupid yet?”
You only answered in incomprehensive sounds, too preoccupied with the familiar strike of arousal about to hit you as they sped up. Your eyes fully rolled back into your skull and Chan could only see white in them. If he didn’t know better, he’d be worried, but the smile on your face indicated you were just fine. “So cock drunk she can’t even answer. How cute.”
“Let’s put her out of her misery and make her cum again. She surely won’t mind.”
And you didn’t, the carnal visceral sensations of their cocks joined to stretch you open, their mind-numbing rhythm bottoming out of you like heaven, and they together blossomed your hardest orgasm yet. Your muscles contracted, doubling over Chan in aguish, ripping your voice loud enough for both of them to hear. He caresses the back of your head while Wonwoo is buried in you deep by meeting his chest to your back, his groans now audibly down directly in your ear.
Chan caressed your face, “Cum, yes like that, you’re so beautiful…How can someone like you so beautiful exist?”
You sobbed into his shoulder, overwhelmed at all angles but ultimately broke under the tender warmth of his words. God, how could you ever be so lucky.
“Take my cum again for me, my love, and I’ll take care of you long after you’re asleep.”
You nodded, embracing him weakly, and Chan held you dearly along with Wonwoo for the finale. Bursts of white colored you inside-out, and you take every drop until they’re both empty. Your body grew fatigued from what felt like hours together and your mind takes a break, deeply knocked out on Chan’s bed. Chan leaves for a second, coming back with warm towels, friendly handing one off to Wonwoo. “Here.”
The pirate looked at it like a foreign object before accepting, seeing Chan take his own towel and dragged it over your mess of pussy in hopes of cleaning you dry. “Thanks for the assist, Wonwoo.”
Wonwoo smiled, copying as he does but with himself, “You’re welcome, I had fun. I hope you did too.”
Chan blushed, turning back to Wonwoo rather hesitantly. “Surprisingly, I did. Hope I can live up to that again for her.”
“I’m sure you will.”
“Thanks. I’ll have to do you a favor sometime…in thanks.”
Wonwoo joined his side, smiling rather cheekily, “I can think of a few ways.”
“If it involves Y/n and you alone, forget it.”
“Actually,” Wonwoo’s hand stung on the patch of skin on Chan’s smooth back, a cool draft hitting the young fairy, “it involves both of you. I’d love to do this again, and again. Maybe exclusively?”
“Are you asking to…be a couple with us, Wonwoo?”
The pirate chuckled at Chan’s innocent phrasing before landing a chaste kiss on his cheek, earning a look of shock on the fairy’s face, and getting up, his flaccid cock hanging in the cold air as naturally as if it were caveman times. “Think on it, insect, and if you’ll need me, I’ll be in the shower. A wet towel will certainly not be enough to get me clean.”
Wonwoo trodded off to the restroom across from Chan’s room and he leaves the door wide open. Chan feels like all the oxygen has been sucked out of his lungs, pondering the inexplicable words from another man he never imagined he would actually hesitate on and then there’s the sound of running water, following the low groan of Wonwoo reacting to its heat. Chan takes a deep exhale before deciding and it takes a total of two seconds for him to get up, walk through that bathroom door, and closed it behind him.

AITA for taking part in testing a stranger a few years ago?
Sounds worse than it is but I just want to ask. Long story bear with me. Fake names, all of us were 19-21 when it happened.
I'm in a very close friend group where we all share multiple fandoms, went through all kinds of discourse hell and fandom drama together for years. We're closeknit and we only get closer with time. One of the pillars of this group is Pearl who I deeply admire. Pearl is popular because she has good meta analysis and she's a vocal progressive just like everyone else in the group. All of us are popular to some degree but she's the most eloquent among us.
A few years ago we were hosting a group chat session to discuss a new show, Pearl was the host and she posted the invite for anyone to join. A new account named Ruby who was following some members of our group for a while, joined the chat along with a some other unknown people and a few mutuals. The chat had about 20 people, don't remember the exact number. So it was Pearl, her friends including me, some mutuals, some new people- all from Sauce fandom.
We were really happy to see so many Sauce fans like the new show. We were having fun until Pearl brought up shipwar from Sauce fandom for the sake of a mutual who was out of the loop. It was a mayo/ketchup vs ketchup/mustard drama and we were fans of mayo/ketchup. We were all shitting on the delulu ketchup/mustard shippers when Ruby said she was one of them. Pearl immediately showed her shitty takes from mustard fans, screenshots of anon hate Pearl got and some other things I can't remember. She asked for Ruby's opinion on those.
I admit Pearl was a little bit condescending, but at that time I was too busy agreeing with her and laughing about mustard/ketchup shippers' idiocy. I was giving more examples to support Pearl in case Ruby decided to counter. Ruby on the other hand laughed and said she also thought those anons were obnoxious and said she was only a casual fan. Pearl said she was relieved because these days you can't trust mustard/ketchup shippers to be normal. We went back to the original topic.
That was over, but I kept an eye on Ruby and I remember she unfollowed Pearl after a few days. I brought it up later a couple times when new members of our group became mutuals with Ruby. And one of them was outright making fun of her for being a little simpleton but we grew up and had other things to talk about.
Then I saw Ruby left Sauce fandom for Fruits fandom where she became a little more popular for meta discussions. She's still friends with a couple people from my group who are casual fans of Fruits. She sometimes shows up on my dash for general fiction takes I agree with. All good. But yesterday I saw her talking to her friends about something friendship and virtue signalling related, she said it was weird how many times she's been "tested" by fellow fans including people who she knew for years, and she thought maybe it was because she came off as dumb and oblivious. She implied She never needed to test anyone.
Now I don't know about other times Ruby was tested but I remembered the story from above when I was one of the strangers testing her and I'm wondering if it was a bad thing to do? I can see why she thought it was maybe rude. But it is true that many shippers happen to have dumb takes and I'd rather not waste my time, rival shipper or not. It's not even a big deal.
So Was I the asshole?
PS thank you for reading the full story and sorry I will not say the real names of Sauce fandom or its ships, none of us go there anymore.
What are these acronyms?

Maybe this is a controversial opinion, but its one that I've been reminded of in the few weeks since things have escalated so severely in Israel and Palestine-- I feel like the pressure for random, average individuals online to be vocally political is not only entitled and uncomfortable, but also just an example of misplaced priority.
Like, I have people on twitter right now that are flat out saying if you don't talk extensively about I/P you're truly, irredeemably evil. I've had mutuals say that silence means you're complacent in genocide, that you have blood on your hands (exact words). But it just doesn't make sense? Most of the people who I've seen being flat out harassed for being silent are teenagers who don't have money to donate, working class folks who don't have time to spare, and normal people who just don't have enough of a following online to even spread any word effectively. Of course, the ones doing the harassing are also poor/busy/not-popular, but they don't see the irony. (I've also seen them say that talking about war constantly is taking a toll on their mental health, saying they've cried, had nightmares, panic attacks, etc...but they also say that taking a mental health break from social media is "selfish" and genocidal, so.)
The whole interaction leaves me with so many questions. If stepping away from social media because politics are stressing you out (which they are known to do), are you obligated to use social media? Do you have to use twitter to be a good person? What does that say about people who can't afford a phone, or live in a country where it isn't quite possible? (Are homeless folks inherently genocidal, or is that an "obvious" exception that was never clarified because no one uses nuance anymore?) If you have to talk about world events, lest you side with the oppressor, at what point is something so catastrophic you *must* talk about it? Is there a number of lives lost that is low enough you can get away with being quiet, and a certain amount too high that you're obligated to talk about it? Is it your duty to have the news on 24/7 to make sure you don't miss anything and catch all the global disasters as they happen? How much do you have to talk about something for it to be considered "enough"? Is there a quota??
It just feels like a lot of people are acting as if people who aren't chronically online aren't 1. doing any activism, because the only important activism is social media networking (sarcasm), or 2. are inherently bad people for *not* spending 6 hours a day on their phones. Like, I had someone I thought was a friend say I was a bad person because I was trying to cut down my social media usage, because the timing was "too convenient"... as if that's a normal thing to say to someone, ever. Sorry if I went on a little bit of a rant, it wasn't my intention. I dunno, maybe it's just me; I've seen a lot of people saying this sort of stuff so maybe they are the majority. It just feels really weird to let people that are addicted to social media take charge of who online is "good" or "bad" based off their internet usage. As if we were all catholics or something. If I were to say that current takes on morality were very catholic-seeming, would you know what I mean?
As recently noted, I am myself on an embargo from answering asks related to this topic. I will make one exception because this is important. Please note that any wank in replies or reblogs will be instantly blocked (and I won't hesitate to disable reblogs if necessary). I will not be answering follow-up asks or getting drawn into Discourse. I do not want to do it and it will not be happening.
I have said it before, but it bears saying again: thinking that the only way to Do Activism is to be constantly on social media and immersing yourself in terrible things nonstop and then posting the Most Correct Opinions (and then viciously attacking anyone who is even slightly Not As Correct as you) is absolutely bullshit. If you're engaging with this content so much that it's giving you a mental breakdown or otherwise plunging you into a spiral of anxiety that you take out on other people who are just as far removed from actually doing anything about it as you: why? Do you really think that you and you alone, one random person on the Internet, are the only way anyone else is going to find out about these things? Or do you think you have to perform the Most Correct Opinions nonstop, viciously harass anyone who isn't responding in exactly the same way, and this is the sum total of what your response should be? Especially in a situation as bloody and complicated as this, dealing with reams of religious, social, cultural, and political history where the average commentator on this conflict knows only what's been fed to them by propaganda on TikTok? How the fuck is that useful or constructive for anyone, aside from perpetuating the idea that you have to be angry all the time on social media about things you essentially know nothing about? I can't see that it does.
What's happening to the Gazans right now is no qualification or equivocation, a genocide. It should rightfully be opposed and called what it is. But unfortunately, I have spent too much time around Western Online Leftists to believe they actually care a whit about stopping genocide as a fundamental principle, and only want to be seen to loudly care about what their Ideology has told them to care about. If it means hand-waving aside genocide and atrocities when committed by their preferred polities, so be it. Why haven't these same people been wall-to-wall up in arms about what Russia has been doing in Ukraine, or for God's sake Syria for the past ten years, if they're really concerned about the rights of innocent Muslim civilians attacked by a far-right imperialist power? Why not the Uighurs in China? Why not [insert the blank] of all the terrible things happening in the world as a result of far-right fascist genocidal imperialism? Why only this conflict? Why now? Why does it involve so much excusing of terrorism as long as it's committed for the Right Ideology? Why are some of the most loudly pro-Palestinian accounts on here also the most rabidly pro-Russian? How does that make sense? To put it bluntly, those genocides are being committed by nation-states that Online Leftists like for being "anti-Western," and therefore their activities are actually fine and should even need to be defended.
My point is not to say that what's happening to the Palestinians is not bad. It is. It is awful and inexcusable. However, I seriously doubt the motives and morality of those who are being the loudest about screaming on social media and attacking everyone else for not instantly repeating their views. I seriously doubt that the Online Left actually opposes genocide and accelerationism as fundamental principles, because they proudly demonstrate every day that they don't. Until those vast factors can be dismantled and shown for what they are, and this can be placed into its larger context, I don't buy it and I don't believe this wall-to-wall social media outrage factory is actually aimed at helping the Gazans or anyone else suffering the most as a result of this. It is just to show that they can be counted on to Perform Outrage and harass anyone else who doesn't do the same, and that does nothing for anyone whatsoever.

WHAT IS MINDFULNESS VS HYPNOSIS ACCORDING TO ELLA ENCHANTING (haver of opinions)
One misconception that I often hear amongst hypnosis geeks is that "mindfulness" is basically a normie-safe word for "hypnosis"- that hypnosis and mindfulness practices are essentially the same thing.
This is a hard misconception to disprove- in fact, "hypnosis" and "mindfulness" are often defined really vaguely and in different ways by different people so- they could often very well be refering to the same thing!* I know when I first learned about mindfulness practices, I dismissed them as "just" repackaged hypnotherapy- something I already knew a lot about. However, in doing so, I was neglecting ideas that turned out to be a really useful self-improvement tools.
If you're of a similar mindset, drawing a distinction between the two may also be really helpful for you.
MINDFULNESS:
So, the end goal of mindfulness is learning a kind of grounded way to self reflect. It's a potentially really helpful skill for people who get caught in thought spirals** or overwhelming emotions. A big goal for people learning the skill is to be able to observe thoughts and emotions without entirely buying into them OR dismissing them. Let's say I have a train of thought that keeps looping in my head- I'm worried about something stupid I said yesterday at work, for example. Imagine that train of thought is an ACTUAL train- maybe a toy train running on a looped track. Normally, when you're having the work worries it's like you're on that thought train- riding it around and around in circles while you're getting increasingly anxious and kind of limiting yourself from doing other things. With mindfulness practice, the goal is to get you OFF the train- it's not gone, but you're kinda watching it from the sidelines instead of ON it. It's still happening but with a bit of distance you can see the thoughts more clearly and better take care of yourself while that thought track is running.
Another example- let's say I have a big feeling. I'm going to pick overwhelming shame***. In mindfulness practices, the goal is usually not to ignore the shame or entirely give into it but to be able to sit with it and understand it without DROWNING in it. So, in that state of mind, I might sit with the shame and kind of question why it's there and what it wants from me. I might find some kindness for myself as someone who is experiencing shame (which is harder to do when I'm more inside it). I might work to conceptualize the shame differently- what does it look like, what sounds does it make, etc. In that way, I'm paying attention to an emotion that might be helpful- but not overly giving into it.
If I were teaching someone mindfulness techniques, the goal there is for them to be able to use the techniques entirely on their own whenever they need to. I'm not really trying to overly influence or control what's happening for them- I'm keeping my language as permissive as possible and encouraging them to accept whatever comes up. "Notice what's there without feeling like you need to change it" is a common mindfulness instruction. The practice encourages curiosity and bravery in the face of the overwhelming STUFF of life.
HYPNOSIS:
There are lot of different ways people do and experience hypnosis- and I'm definitely not going to be able to address all of them here. But, at least in kink, my goal in hypnotizing someone is to directly influence their thoughts. In fact, when I'm hypnotizing someone, a lot of my "induction" is convincing someone that I'm already in their head- that they're responding automatically to my suggestions. There's the kinky control fun of that and also the mutual shared feeling of intimacy- we're so close we could be one. (Or, in more D/s-ey terms, we're so close that now you are an extension of me!) In 101 classes you'll learn about the pacing and leading technique- basically matching your subject's experience and then taking them a step further. (Ex. You're reading my words and focusing on the screen and that reminds you to take a deep breath NOW.)
Explaining it by cold control hypnosis theory****, during an induction I'm helping someone kind of flip OFF their awareness of their agency- creating the illusion that things are happening internally because I'm MAKING them happen (and disguising the part where they're in complete control of their actions).
Especially in kink, what we're doing in hypnosis play is often a really conscious power exchange. You're giving me power over your thoughts because you want me to have it. I direct them where I want them to go and away from where I don't want them to be (ex. the actual reason why you're relaxing is, in part, because that's a natural thing that happens for most people when they close their eyes for more than a few seconds). (That's an excellent babysitting/parenting pro tip from me to you btw.) It's not that subjects aren't actively contributing their own images/ideas/metaphors/desires to the suggestions and play (really often they are!) but usually their whole goal is to be directed.
Even in hypnotherapy, that directedness and control is implied. You're not coming on (nearly) as strong as you would in kink, but your goal there is usually more in direction (with teaching self hypnosis techniques as an added bonus).
Sometimes the hypnosis and mindfulness methodologies can be incredibly similar with really subtle differences! For example, I might start a mindfulness-teaching body scan in the same way that I might start a progressive muscle relaxation induction- "Go ahead and get into a comfortable position and close your eyes". But continuing with the hypnosis induction, I'll usually be more directive ("Notice your feet. As you're noticing them, imagine sending a wave of relaxation down to your toes.") whereas with the body scan I'll be more exploratory. ("Notice your feet. What do they feel like? Are they hot or cold? Do they want to move or stay still? Whatever is happening for them right now is fine- just notice them") The pmr induction is intended to move someone into a suggestible state, the body scan is intended to teach someone a particular mindset and focusing skill they can use later. *****
Like I stated before, things that I consider "hypnosis" ideas and techniques and "mindfulness" ideas and techniques get mixed up all the time- with both lay folks and the actual professionals who teach them. There's a lot of surface similarities. "Mindfulness" has become such a therapy and corporate buzzword that it often DOES become synonymous with things like guided relaxation. Both concepts are vague enough that there's a lot of things that can easily be either/or- I'm thinking self hypnosis specifically here******. But- I hope if you're curious about mindfulness at all, you'll find this explanation useful and will maybe go out and explore some helpful resources for yourself.
Good mindfulness 101 books:
Full Catastrophe Living- Jon Kabat Zinn
The Mindful Way Through Depression- J. Mark G Williams et all
Just an FYI here at the bottom- like all self-help techniques, mindfulness stuff can be extremely helpful to some and not at all helpful to others. If it hasn't been personally helpful to you that's fine! I hope you've found some other things that are. Also, you can feel free to take my self help advice just as seriously as you would of any other kinky fetish blogger. :p I'm not your therapist, feel free to check in with them about things that might help you.
*I think people expanding the definition and ideas around both of these can be really helpful, in fact!
**Of the not-fun kind
***You know, like I normally do
****One of many hypnosis theories! And often not the best one for kink! If hypnosis doesn't feel like this for you, that's perfectly ok!
*****OK, in actuality both probably do both things! But the emphasis is different.
******A big difference in my mind- if you discover pain or discomfort, hypnosis-style techniques are usually directing you away from that while mindfulness-style techniques are usually directing you towards curiousity about those things.

A brief history of Camille Desmoulins
It's March 2nd today, which means it's the birthday of my biggest writing muse: Camille Desmoulins, 18th-century journalist, French revolutionary and the man who called the Parisian people to arms, resulting in the Storming of the Bastille.
Despite essentially causing such a major historical event, Camille is largely glossed over by historians, and not many people know about him as a result. However, that doesn't mean he didn't have any influence on the revolution, and he contributed to it the same way as famous personalities like Robespierre, Danton, and Saint-Just did. So, in honor of his 264th birthday, here's a little history of the man gracing my profile pic.
Tumblr media
The early years
Camille was born in 1760, in the commune of Guise in the province of Picardy. At fourteen years of age, he obtained a scholarship to study at the Collège Louis-le-Grand in Paris, one of the most esteemed elite schools in France. There, he met Maximilien de Robespierre, and despite the boys being two years apart in age and having very different personalities - Maximilien was more calm and secluded, while Camille was lively and impulsive - the two bonded over their mutual love for classical history and philosophy.
After graduating from Louis-le-Grand, Camille began to pursue a career in law, being admitted to the Parlement of Paris in 1785. However, his stammer and lack of connections to the Parisian legal community impeded his success, so he instead took up writing as a journalist, with a primary focus on political affairs.
The Estates-General and the call to arms
When King Louis XVI convened the Estates-General in 1789, Camille was present at the procession on May 5th, writing a comment about the event. The Comte de Mirabeau, presenting himself as a middleman between the aristocracy and the Third Estate as well as a patron for Camille, even employed the latter as a writer for his newspaper for a time.
However, the mingling of the three estates was not well received by the king, and he tried to regain control over the members who had dubbed themselves the National Assembly by closing the Salle des Menus Plaisirs where the deputies met to them. Instead, the National Assembly held their meeting in the Jeu de Paume (which was normally used as the tennis court of Versailles), where the members from various estates swore the oath to not part until they had devised a new constitution for France.
Eventually, the king was forced to relent, but that didn't keep him from concentrating his troops in Versailles and Paris. When he dismissed finance minister Jacques Necker - who was very popular among the people and considered an advocate for their interests - the atmosphere in Paris took a turn for the worse.
The Parisians were angry, worried, and in fear, and in this situation - on July 12th, 1789 - Camille took the opportunity to leap onto a table in front of the Cafe de Foy in the Palais Royal. There, he delivered a passionate speech, even losing his usual stammer in the heat of the moment, calling the people to take up arms to defend themselves against the imminent massacre of the king's troops* and put on cockades so they recognize each other.
Following Camille's example, the people took green leaves from the trees lining the Palais Royal and stuck them to their coats. However, since green was associated with the Comte d'Artois, the conservative brother of the king, the color of the cockades quickly shifted to red and blue, the colors of the commune of Paris (white was added later to represent the king, in an attempt to reconcile the factions). Bad news for Camille's leaf cockades…
*The king most likely didn't plan to massacre the citizens, but the presence of so many troops, a good deal of them foreign, made the populace very anxious.
Journalistic career and the Girondins
After being present at the Storming of the Bastille, Camille continued to be politically active, publishing radical pamphlets and newspapers such as La France Libre, Discours de la lanterne aux Parisiens, and Révolutions de France et de Brabant. He joined the Club des Cordeliers led by Georges Danton and became part of the radical leftist Montagnards, the "Mountain" party of the National Convention, consisting of members such as Maximilien de Robespierre, Jean-Paul Marat, and Louis Antoine Saint-Just.
In 1790, Camille also married Lucile Duplessis, whom he had known for several years and harbored strong feelings for. However, despite Lucile's mother being a good friend of Camille's, her father repeatedly denied the couple his blessing, being of the opinion that Camille couldn't support a family with his meager income as a journalist. (Indeed, in the days prior to the revolution, Camille often had to live in poverty due to his difficulties establishing himself as a lawyer.) After gaining popularity as a journalist, however, Lucile's father finally allowed the lovers to marry, the marriage taking place on December 29th with Robespierre, Jacques Pierre Brissot, and Jérôme Pétion de Villeneuve being present as witnesses.
However, success and bliss were not meant to last: After the massacre at the Champs de Mars on July 17th, 1791, Camille had to go into hiding, putting his journalistic activities on halt for the time being. When he took up his work again in 1792, he wrote a few papers viciously attacking the political faction of the Girondins and specifically their leader, Jean Pierre Brissot. In his works, Camille accused them of betraying the republic and counter-revolutionary acts*, which majorly contributed to the arrest and subsequent execution of many Girondin leaders, including Brissot. However, Camille came to regret his role in their deaths: During the trial, he was lamenting "Oh my God! My God! It is I who killed them!", collapsing in the courtroom when the death sentence was announced.
*The Girondins had acquired a reputation of intending to harm the revolution with their actions, on one hand due to their pro-war attitude (the war with other European empires had taken its toll on the Republic of France), and on the other hand due to the party's indecisiveness concerning the judgement of the king (some of them argued for clemency or a milder punishment).
Vieux Cordelier and downfall
After 1793, Camille had a notable change of heart, becoming one of the voices in favor of clemency instead of terror. In what would become his most well-known and popular journal, Le Vieux Cordelier, he argued against imprisoning citizens based on the mere suspicion of counter-revolutionary activities, condemning the brutality of the Reign of Terror and even directly addressing his old friend Robespierre to moderate his approach.
However, this only ended up making Camille another prime target. Robespierre initially tried to defend Camille from the Jacobin Club calling for his expulsion, but this changed when Danton's secretary, Fabre d'Églantine, was exposed for financial fraud. This cast a poor light on Danton and his allies, including Camille, and it was what made Robespierre support legally persecuting them. Charges of corruption, royalist tendencies, and conspiracy against the revolution were brought forth against them, resulting in the arrest of Camille, Danton, and the rest of the Dantonists.
The trial itself took place from April 3rd to 5th, and was obviously aimed at getting rid of the political threat that Danton and his allies posed. By decree of the National Convention, the accused were not allowed to defend themselves, in addition to being denied the right to call any witnesses. The guilty verdict, which was essentially prescribed due to the nature of the trial, was passed in the absence of the defendants to prevent unrest in the courtroom, and the Dantonists were scheduled to ascend the scaffold on the very same day.
In Luxembourg prison, Camille wrote a last letter to his beloved wife Lucile, with spots from tears being visible to this day. However, it should never reach her, as Camille was informed that Lucile had also been arrested on his way to the scaffold. He went wild upon hearing the news, and it took several men to get him into the tumbrel. Of the fifteen Dantonists guillotined on April 5th, 1794, Camille was the third to die.
Lucile, who had been arrested on the charge of conspiring to free her husband, followed him only eight days later, being guillotined on April 13th, 1794. She left behind her not even two years old son, Horace Camille Desmoulins, who was raised by Lucile's mother and sister. In 1817, Horace emigrated from France to Haiti, where his gravestone can be found to this day.
And that is the story of Camille Desmoulins: the man who ignited the spark of the French Revolution, but eventually got disgusted by its brutality, leading to his tragic end.
Camille may be a bit overlooked as a historical figure, but that does not make him less interesting or important.
So, in all due honor: Happy birthday, Camille! 🎂

"oh my god, the comic that opened its plot by saying that removing corporal punishments from schools was a bad idea and the teachers need to go back to beating up students turned out to be racist, who could have seen this coming!!"
Listen, okay, I don't want to dunk on the people who enjoy Get Schooled and genuinely didn't see the racism coming, but like... as someone who doesn't read Get Schooled and checked it out to see what the plot was even about following all the controversy these past couple days, y'all, the description is a hard fucking pass.
Tumblr media
And I still checked out its first episode to give it more benefit of the doubt and... nah fam. Not saying we should have seen the racism coming a mile away but I'm baffled as to why people read this at all. I'm all for manga and webtoons with senseless or comical violence, but you still need to set the baseline for where that violence is taking place and what context it exists within. Naruto? Yeah, sure, students fighting the teachers, this is a fantasy universe based around the ninja arts, makes sense they're gonna fight each other and it seems like a mutual agreement. Assassination Classroom? The teacher literally isn't human and he's training his students on how to kill him otherwise he'll destroy their whole planet. Shit, even fucking Matilda handles it better because it's one kid being abused by the principal and that principal is so ridiculously abusive that the parents don't even believe the abuse is happening (to the point that this form of abuse and manipulation is often nicknamed "The Trunchbull Method" because it's designed to be so absurd that no one will believe the victim), so it winds up being on Matilda's shoulders to use her newfound gifts to teach her a lesson - but the story itself is meant to remind adults that kids are people and just because they're smaller and weaker than you doesn't give you a free pass to be abusive.
Point is, in all of those examples, you can create that suspension of disbelief in how the teachers and students behave towards one another because their entire plots require suspension of disbelief.
But Get Schooled is literally just... it's set in Korea, it's a normal high school story, there's nothing supernatural or unique going on with the students or the teachers, and there's no moral or lesson it's trying to express, it's literally just taking real life and saying, "hey, adults should be allowed to beat up kids". When has combatting violence with more violence ever been a solution in that kind of context? Why is this a comic that even exists, let alone on a platform that's regularly marketed to teenagers?
It's depressing. And just for the record, I was spurred on to make this post by the recent response from the team behind Get Schooled regarding the VERY racist plotline it recently released on the Korean version of the app.

Like... this is shit WT shouldn't have even been allowing to fly under the radar to begin with. The bar is on the floor. I also love how the creators of Get Schooled admitted to the fact that they were raised in a homogenous society but still thought they were up to the task of "bringing the issue [of multicultural racism] to light", when they, in fact, do the complete OPPOSITE within that episode by suggesting, "actually, if you're mixed race then you're the REAL bad guy, it's the pureblood Koreans who are the oppressed minority, there are so many immigrants these days!!" And "stopping hatred" sure is a big claim when the entire point of their comic is combatting hatred with hatred, or in Get Schooled's case, bullying with corporal punishment.
Yikes. Big fucking yikes.

little note for one of my friends
one of my friends was questioning as aro-spec so i thought i would maybe give a few terms here
greyromantic/grayromantic - experiencing romantic attraction at a lesser frequency or intensity as the societal "normal" person. this happens to be me!!! it also doesnt exclude different attraction types
lithromantic - you like people... but you have absolutely no care for actually acting on those feelings or knowing someone likes you back.
frayromantic - you like people until you have a strong emotional bond with them, after which the attraction fades away.
quoioromantic - do i like this person?? is it a different type of attraction?? is romantic attraction even relevant to me????? who the fuck knows, cause thats what this term is all about!!!!! (op realizing this term may fit them somewhat)
aegoromantic - "romance seems cool i guess, i dont think it's for me tho haha, like its cool fantasizing about romance and thingies but like idk i would rather not do that irl" - someone, somewhere, explaining aegoromantic
i mentioned different attraction types in quoiromantic earlier, so heres a list of different attraction and relationship types
sexual attraction - needs no introduction, you just horny, moving on
sensual attraction - like physical but non-sexual desires, like hugs, hand holding, etc
alterous - my favorite!!! this type is basically indistinguishable between romantic and platonic attraction, im pretty sure i feel this a lot, either that or its queerplatonic. see op cant even distinguish them and they are the chronically online autistic who researches queer wiki pages in their free time lol
queerplatonic!!!!!! - my actual favorite move over alterous, this is basically the ultimate platonic relationship, most would probably see it as romantic relationship cause it sees a level of devotion and commitment not often seen in platonic relationships. if i may blatantly steal from the lgbtqia+ fandom, "deep mutual trust, emotional closeness, and loyalty" normally seen in romantic relationships are a defining factor of queerplatonic relationships. if you want a good example of one ive seen people say that frances and aled from radio silence (alice oseman, 2016) are a queerplatonic relationship, and one that i am VERY jealous of but ive already talked about that here.
remember, nobody expects you to figure this out immediately. i doubt even alloromantics get crushes every week to develop their understanding of their attraction (but im aro-spec so who knows), so i doubt you're gonna find a billion crushes to dissect your attraction with, it's probably gonna take a while, but hey, if we... (*remembers that making jokes about humanity killing themselves and their homeworld bring the mood down*) ...have a community, why not ask around?
if anybody has stuff to correct me on, or stuff that you want me to talk about too, please just reach out!!
and to that friend i wrote this for, a lot of this you've probably seen already, but i hope i could help a bit :3 - aidan/ellie

"nothing changes if you don't vote"
"republicans vote"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They also do active work towards their political goals that go further than just screeching at people to vote. Like running for office so people can vote.
I can not express how much of Every election Ever is not voters fault, but the fault of every capable liberal and leftist who sits around telling us to vote/read theory but never actually uses their privilege to do any active part of dismantling racism or anything else they pretend to care about, including the actual bare minimum of getting blue votes which isnt voting, but running for office so people can vote blue.
Non-voters aren't the problem. The people to blame are the same fucking people that are always to blame throughout all of history. People who see awful things happening around them and still sit around doing nothing but feeling guilt and fear they might be treated the same way. So they choose to follow the fucked up laws and status quo of a government that doesn't give a shit about them, meanwhile finding ways to blame the Actual victims of the government so they can feel better about protecting themselves instead.
"vote"
A fairy tale for liberals who don't wanna confront the reality that they don't have any power over their lives.
My executively dysfunctional, depressive, disabled, unstable ass sure doesn't. Couldn't run for office even if I wanted to. Relying on EBT and racist federal workers. Relying on others to run for office with my best interest in mind. I rely on on this government and it's people to take care of me and people like me but look where that got me. You think that was my choice? That I voted for this life? Did you vote for me to struggle like this?
No, you didn't.
But I am. Lots of people are. Because voting doesn't work. Because our problems are systematic and the things influencing us are systematic. They aren't things you vote for or would be ever put up for a vote in the first place. You can't vote blue without a Democrat that isn't on your ballot, for example. And lots of us can't fix things ourselves through normal political means like running for office cuz every branch of the US is inaccessible to us in a very racist, queerphobic, ableist, and classist way.
Voting isn't enough, it never was. It's not even the bare minimum. The bare minimum is doing something. Protest, burn something down, participate in mutual aid, run for office yourself, become a journalist that's Honest and unbought. But just saying "yeah I like this one" and coloring in some boxes every 2-4 years isn't fucking it. It never was. And thinking otherwise is exactly why I'm looking at ballot with no fucking democrats, progressives, or leftists on it.
I'm fucking begging you all to do more than vote and scream at everyone else to vote. Begging. Please fucking do more than that. And don't "we are" me because I'm looking at a ballot in one of the most progressive states in the country and objectively no you're fucking not.
