i've seen a lot of people express the worry that they can't claim they're nonbinary until they start hormones or get surgery. i just wanted to say this absolutely isn't true. you don't even have to change your presentation, the way you dress, the way you speak or act, or anything. you don't have to change anything to be able to claim that you're nonbinary. you are a nonbinary person from the moment you realize and accept it. it's okay to call yourself nonbinary before transition. it's okay to call yourself nonbinary if you never transition

Queer multigender culture is hating "non men loving non men" and "non women loving non women" being treated like the Good Inclusive Definitions for Nonbinary People for gay and lesbian because you know they'll never include you, as a nonbinary person, because you're NOT a non man or non woman.

Meeting other queer people irl made me realize how irrelevant online queer discourse is. My teacher was nonbinary and gay, no one cared. A girl in the hospital was a lesbian who liked guys, no one in the group of mainly cishetallos even batted an eye. Don’t let online discourse get you down because in the real world people don’t care.

Fox = A fox is a nonbinary person who presents themselves outside of the gender binary, whether that be androgynously/fluidly or neutrally, while also rejecting binary concepts of gender presentation!

The flags on the left represent enbian fox enbies, the flags in the middle represent lesbian fox enbies, the flags on the right represent gay fox enbies. All of these flags were made by combining the lesbian/enbian/gay flags with the fox flag.

nonbinary & genderqueer (& other/"third"/etc. gender) people should not have to be relegated to specific or blanket terms for attraction like enbian or queer, nonbinary & genderqueer people can be lesbians & gays, sapphic & achillean, and whatever other terms they want to use. gay, lesbian, sapphic & achillean are not for men and women only, nonbinary & genderqueer people get to define our identities.
