Tim is nonbinary, and the batfam gives no shit to anyone who dare to oppose it

How Tim discover it? Well, Barbara, Cass and Steph once persuade him to try on a red dress when he's out shopping with them, and Lana Del Ray's Summertime Sadness was playing at that time, Tim got indulged with the lyrics 'I got my red dress on tonight' 'Done my hair up real big, beauty queen style' - he didn't cut his hair for a while so he looks exactly a beauty when he put on a red dress and the girls applause for him so damn hard

Tim got 30+ contacts from different modeling agency that day

Tim did feel panic the first time he feels being nonbinary, after all, he's didn't do well when he found out he's bi, but that okay, the batfam got him

Kate help him a lot, Jason too, though he's like, 'Always know you're one, just wondering how long you're gonna realize

Tim: IS THAT WHY YOU'VE BEEN SENDING ME LGBTQ+ BROCHURE?!

Fun fact: Jason works in a lgbtq+ community formed by Harley and Ivy, after knowing Tim's Bi, he feels like someone needs to learn more, and he wants to, so he goes

Damian didn't react too well, but didn't act out of line too, he just point out fact he can't understand the concepts

Jason slapped himself and gave the entire batfam concept and knowledge about lgbtq+ that night, with the Kents, Harley and Ivy, whatever anti-heros on good terms with them

Cass and Steph suddenly announce they're les and has been together, Jason and Barbara and Harley and Ivy and Selina all punch each other's arms and like laughing off the rest for not figuring out when they're the detectives

Dick actually some sort of figures out but he feels like he hasn't been long enough by the kids side so he doesn't know how to react

Dick gets the best brother hug that day

Damian punched quite a lot in schools with Jon, because someone is badmouthing his sibling (though he wouldn't admit Tim's brother) for being part of lgbtq+

Bruce like, 'I am dissappoint for the school's being', subtly approve Damian

Damian gets the best cookies from Alfred that day

some angst red hood steph hcs (take 2 since tumblr crashed on me while writing the first time)

- cass and steph’s friendship is super strained for a good bit even post redemption bc steph knew how cass felt about killing but knowingly chose to kill people anyway AND hurt cass’s siblings

- steph doesn’t voluntarily tell her mom that she’s alive for a long time because of a combination of self loathing and semi self awareness

- Steph as the red hood is super disassociated a lot

- not feeling respected is a big part of steph’s issues with the batfamily since pre her death she felt like she was not only disrespected but constantly compared to damian and cass by bruce and to make matters worse cass and damian unintentionally made steph not feel respected as well via stuff like cass’ canon actions of nerve striking steph to prevent her from getting into a dangerous situation or being like canon tim and bruce and constantly calling her by her civillain name out in the field and just casually telling strangers like Connor hawke

- so Steph probably gets super pissed if someone calls her by her civillain name and/or spoiler/robin

- steph’s turning point is probably when she goes too far with a criminal and ends up frightening the kid she was supposed to be rescuing to the point where someone else has to come pick them up. bonus angst points if they were a spoiler, red hood and/or Steph robin fan

- not an angst hc but Steph realizes she’s nonbinary because she literally gives 0 shits about what people refer to her as/with unless they’re being bigoted. As a matter of fact she often gets gender euphoria from people’s confusion and struggling to pin her gender identity down

- Steph suffers constant chest pains and hand pains post reassurection

- Steph getting poisoned w the black mercy is probably a lot more angst over in this au

- Steph often wonders about what her daughter would think of her if she saw her know and thinks that it was definitely good she gave her up for adoption because well, just look where she is now.

- Steph often thinks about how often pre her death she had nightmares about becoming her dad and here she is now, a wanted criminal working with other criminals

Ahhh! These are so gooooood! I had a post about the Robins being reversed but the other Batkids (Cass, Duke, Babs) are in the usual order but the Steph and Cass drama has me wanting to go full reverse. It would just be so much more complicated and angst, I love it.

I had like eight hcs for Steph and her mom and couldn’t settle on one. One where her mom died while she was dead, one very similar to yours where there’s a bit of angst can I go home, one where she straight up just goes back to living with her mom (her mom was married to a supervillain, I’m sure she would be fine with housing her supervillain daughter), one where she sorta haunts her mom until her mom catches her, a few more that aren’t really as good as all those. I agree the self-loathing/can’t go home is definitely the most angst, though. So A+ there.

I hadn’t even thought of the angst with her daughter she gave up. That is choice.

Al of these are amazing. Love them.

dick  was  most  likely  trying  to  train  his  three-legged  puppy.  his  “hero-time”  has  been  preoccupied  with  his  “selfish”  desire  to  find  out  who  murdered  his  parents  all  those  years  ago.  he  exclusively  lived  alone.  away  from  bruce  and  the  batfamily.  he  retired  his  status  as  a  robin  ---  as  well  as  the  batman  ,  and  lived  as  nightwing (  part-time  ,  he  has  a  puppy  to  take  care  of  ).

despite  his  closeness  with  the  batfamily  ,  he  was  most  likely  embarrassed  to  ask  for  a  place  to  crash.  he  does  have  the  reputation  in  the  family  for  being  the  closest  thing  to  an  adult  so  .  .  .  he  figured  something  out.  most  likely  a  worn  down  studio  with  high  ceilings.

[   003.   ]   why  is  your  character  affiliated  with  who  they’re  affiliated  with  ?

with  numerous  affiliations  ,  dick  has  seemingly  befriended  a  myriad  of  heroes  and  civilians.  he’s  most  notably  associated  with  the  (  teen  )  titans  and  occasionally  young  justice.  at  the  start  of  his  superhero  “career”  he  was  closely  affiliated  with  batman  but  as  he’s  grown  into  his  own  ,  he  scoffs  at  the  title  of  robin.  he  aligns  himself  with  people  who  share  the  same  values,  morals,  and  goals  as  him.  he  also  considers  the  people  on  his  team  to  be  his  family  ---  the  titans,  specifically.  

[   004.   ]   who  are  their  major  friends,  allies,  and  foes  ?

despite  having  many  affiliations  ,  the  titans  are  the  ones  he  is  bonded  to.  even  if  they  give  him  headaches  he  adores  them.  the  rest  of  the  robins  are  a  close  second  --  even  jason  whom  he  shares  a  tumultuous  relationship  with.  considering  dick  has  trauma  from  the  loss  of  his  real  family  he  puts  a  great  deal  of  care  and  importance  into  maintaining  the  relationships  he  has  with  his  friends.  

dick’s  relationship  with  batman  has  gone  through  a  lot.  carrying  a  great  deal  of  weight  on  his  shoulders  as  the  first  robin  ,  dick  feels  that  batman  has  placed  him  on  an  unwanted  pedestal.  he’s  done  his  best  to  separate  himself  from  the  batfamily  in  order  for  the  other  robins  to  blossom  in  their  own  right  without  the  shadow  of  “the  nightwing”  casting  over  them.  he  believes  this  separation  has  allowed  batman  to  assume  his  disinterest  in  the  batfamily,  inheriting  the  batman  title,  and  despising the  role  has  robin.

his  truest  homie.  best  friend  of  all.  is  alfred  pennyworth.  hearing  his  grievances  from  a  very  young  age,  alfred  knew  all  the  gossip  dick  kept  to  himself  while  living  in  the  wayne  manor.  his  death  still  weighs  heavy  on  dick’s  shoulders;  and  how  alfred  gave  dick  his  entire  inheritance  has  made  him  reevaluate  the  relationship  he  had  with  alfred.  he  was  both  a  mother  /  father  figure  to  dick  during  his  formative  years.

[   005.   ]   whose  hands  do  they  believe  the  country  should  be  in  ?

as  he’s  been  investigating  his  parents  death,  he  has  earned  a  distrust  of  the  police,  the  government,  and  politicians.  so  welcome  to  the  revolution  comrade  dick  grayson.

[   006.   ]   what’s  their  current  mental  state  at  ?  their  physical  state  ?

he’s  fooled  himself  into  believing  that  he  has  a  fulfilled  life.  he  thinks  he’s  grown  so  much  since  he  was  robin  but  ,  he’s  still  a  kid.  a  sad  ,  scared  kid;  who  is  desperate  for  an  answer.  as  much  as  he  loves  his  friends  and  the  batfamily  ,  he  can’t  bring  himself  to  “replace”  the  people  he  misses  most.  

he  has  dreams  about  them  often  that  warp  into  nightmares.  he  can’t  seem  to  shake  the  trauma  he  carries  on  a  nearly  daily  basis.  he’s  also  convinced  himself  that  the  other  robins  don’t  like  him  because  of  his  reputation  as  the  "first”  robin.  which  isn’t  entirely  untrue,  he  left  some  pretty  big  shoes  to  fill  ---  but  he  can’t  bring  himself  to  take  credit  for  it.

he  also  misses  everyone  ,  like  a  lot.

he’s  become  a  gym  rat  to  distract  himself  from  ,  well  himself.  he’s  in  great  shape  physically.

Drawing did successfully manage to calm them down, at least somewhat. The act of moving pencil against paper was familiar, a contrast against the last few months, which firmly slotted itself as the most confusing period of time in Damian's life thus far, challenged only by when they had first come to Gotham and struggled to learn their father's rules.
