Update on Episode 2

I know you all must be eagerly anticipating the arrival of the episode 2 rewrite, and that makes two of us. Someone - not naming any names - *cough cough* me * cough cough* happened to get distracted trying to understand the nature of my own universes' concept of time and how time travel would work. That is to say, the chapter will be out in no time, lemme just make a few more deranged graphs trying to explain this:

These were the ones I made. I know two visual representations aren't much, but the amount of thinking that had to go into this was intense lol.

A good friend of mine named Ku also made these graphs, which helped me in my thinking process:

I do sort of wish western anime fans would analyze anime and manga from a framework of japanese historical and cultural context. Specifically a lot of works from the 90s being influenced by the general aimlessness and ennui that a lot of people were experiencing due to the burst in the bubble economy and the national trauma caused by the sarin terrorist attack. I think in interacting with media that’s not local to our sociocultural/sociopolitical sphere it’s easy to forget that it’s influenced and shaped by the same kinds of factors that influence media within our own cultural dome and there ends up being this baseline misalignment of perception between the causative elements of a narrative and viewer interpretation of those elements. It’s a form of death of the author that i think, in some measure, hinders our ability to fully understand/come to terms with creator intent and the full scope of a work’s merits

8.) ENGAGE SWEEP

Not even a meme FE Engage is my GOTY. I like how much mix-and-match it enables as an FE game, an approachable yet still challenging maddening mode that even pulls some "holy shit they can do that?" moments, a narrative and main protag I really enjoyed and continue to smile about, a cast of characters with no really big stinkers for me. This game really did rekindle my spark in the series and if not for my dedication to trying many new things, would be something I would totally be replaying over and over.

19.) I'm just really excited to move-in together with my girlfriend. Not that I'm betting the entire pool on it, but I really think the distance from my parents will be what solves the remaining mental/emotional blocks I've had up to this point, and I'm sure there's a similar point for that with Merry. Also I'm just really happy that we won't have to keep saying goodbye to each other all the time.
