For how much primarily PvP players mock PvE players as carebears, I've never played a game where the PvP players didn't whine incessantly if they can't curb-stomp another player with little chance for that player to escape or fight back.

Every time something is suggested (or even implemented) where the field is level (such as normalizing stats and skills so everyone has the same baseline), people lose their minds because suddenly those scrubs they've been obliterating can actually fight back.

Tell me again how pvp is about skill, when those times that's literally true are the times pvp was 'bad'

And I'm someone who enjoys PvP when I'm in the mood for it, its just rarely as fair as people like to pretend it is.

Most Hits: Deadset (not surprised at all, imo my magnum opus, multi-chapter which I'm pretty sure get more hits as people come back for the chapters etc.) Nie Huaisang dies, becomes a ghost, canon proceeds mostly as normal.

Second most Kudos: Deadset lol so, not sure what the rules about double ups are... will explain first place in a moment.

Third most Comments: It's What We Do in the Death unfinished, though hopefully not abandoned (I wrote a new paragraph last night!) TUA fic. It's a time loop/groundhog day fic from Ben's pov that resets every time Klaus dies to the moment of Ben's death. Only Ben remembers and is stuck trying to keep Klaus alive despite what sometimes seems like Klaus' best efforts. So far all pre-canon

Fourth most Bookmarks: Yes Oui Luv Ya a Sk8 the Infinity Renga fic. I know, sometimes I don't write gen fic, although it's also G rated so. Anyway this is actually most kudos fic and thus we get Deadset twice lol. I like this fic, but I wrote it in a day as a distraction from a deadset chapter that was bugging me then never touched Sk8 again so its funny to me. It was also created due to my petty headcanon that Langa's first language could very well be French if he's from an unspecified location in Canada. And then I made it crack-esque (or I tried).

Fifth most Words: Hey there, brother dear ooh how to explan this fic, we're back to MDZS though! The first chapter was written on the idea of NHS and JGY being genuinely close and JGY giving NHS a lot of life advice that is then used/twisted to bring JGY down later. It's also the general premise that JGY was considered a brother and that made the betrayal harder. The second chapter is essentially a telling of the Guanyin temple scene but from NHS' pov and the third chapter is post-canon NHS trying to deal with what's happened when he did care about JGY. Also had a throwaway line that birthed deadset so gotta love it for that.

Fewest Words: my lowest word fic is a piece of trash I wrote when I was a youth and thought I was funny. Was trying to answer a prompt. I don't even have words for this. Anyway.
