no girl tell us what you think about jegulily!! im so here for it (tone is weird but I mean that genuinely, I don't ship them so I'm not here to be weird)
dw bae ur tone is fine ! (i’ve been waiting for an ask like this 💀) i think jegulily is... yeah its…. like usually as long as its legal idgaf as long as shippers portray their characters right but regulus fans are literally incapable 😭🙏 WHY WOULD U PAIR A MUGGLEBORN AND A BLOOD SUPREMACIST IM SO DONE WITH DIS FANDOMMMM!! that actually goes for a lot of lily ships like bartylily as well (no clue where that came from either but it’s equally as stupid lmfao).
and jegulily just feels like shoving in lily because people feel bad for ditching her, or shoving in regulus because some people like jily and jegulus and want them (for some reason) to coincide even though it makes zeroooo sense for it to. like, idk if i said this with jegulus before (i yap sm on this account i forget what i say), but like it, jegulily can be done well if a realistic dynamic is taken into account, but the marauders fandom is allergic to nuance and so just chalks up everything regulus does and believes to his neglectful homelife. hes not all-bad, sure, i do feel bad for him, but im nowhere close to shipping him with a woman whos part of the people hes trying to eradicate, or with her man who purposefully went against all pureblood tradition (which is such a large part of james’ character— he is a pureblood that chooses to be seperate from that culture hellooooo plz wake uppppp).
marauders fandom has a chronic “i can fix him” mentality when it comes to wizard neo nazis, i have never understood it. but thats a topic for another day.
jegulily should be filled with envy, toxicity and prejudice stop nerfing it to be some fluffy feel-good polyamorous stable marriage where they raise harry together. yall are looking over the potential. this ship has blood and guts in it plz act like it or else idk what to say 😭 if it doesnt end with at least one of them getting murdered i dont want it.

Although I pictured Jude a certain way (physically) while reading the books, it really doesn't make much difference to the romance aspect of the trilogy.
They didn't struggle with their feelings because Jude was ugly/plain/gorgeous. They struggled because their stations in the social hierarchy were polar opposites, yet they both resented each other.
Cardan was a prince who saw his station as a play. He had no support network, his guardian beat him for fun, his friends were just using his birthright to get away with being turds. When Jude looked at him, she saw a spoiled prince who did whatever pleased him, blessed with being born into it and reminding her she would never be like them.
And then Jude, who saw herself as human/weak/lesser than. Who spent 10 years letting insults slide and hiding under tables in hopes of raising enough in the hierarchy to - even if not truly belong there - at least be left the fuck alone. Cardan looked at her and saw the General's favoured daughter, raised as Gentry, never in rags or forgotten if she were to sleep on stables. Jude reminded Cardan what he did not have despite being a prince.

for me personally i kind of like the idea that the only time louis and daniel before now was the night of the original interview.
to me the interesting thing about their dynamic (and part of what makes it romantic) is the weird way you can confide in a stranger things you can't tell people who are actually a part of your life - like the contrast between this person not knowing you and all yet somehow you're telling them your darkest secrets, and they're seeing through your bullshit in a way people who know you don't (or maybe do but won't vocalize). and yeah it's a combination of chance and luck, but there's also a genuine connection that makes this stranger the one you choose to talk to out all the other strangers you come across.
and the idea that maybe that moment, that bond, could be so strong it could pick right up many decades later compels me. there's an intimacy to like, a past relationship, obviously, but i think there's also an intimacy that comes from knowing 'i only spoke to this person once but i never stopped thinking about them and maybe they never stopped thinking about me?' but you hooked up once or only had one conversation and you talk yourself down say be realistic because it was so brief and so long ago you, how could you not be blowing this out of proportion, but then you meet again and it hits you all over again like a ton of bricks.

what’s isat about/what kind of game is it? looks interesting :0
hi anon!! YOU ASKED FOR IT!
"Live with the ever-present burden of being trapped in a time loop only you can know about in this turn-based RPG. Create a better future for you and your friends. Find hope where there is none left. Pray to the stars and free yourself from time.
-- In Stars and Time's steam page
In Stars and Time is a FANTASTIC role-playing-game created by a solo indie developer. It centralizes around an absolute delight of a character and their efforts to escape a timeloop! But truly, it's contents are even more awesome than it's premise. This game has a similar feeling to Undertale or Omori, but is very distinct !!! In my opinion it's more intense than the former, but much easier to play than the latter (Omori's themes made the game too intense and visceral for me to finish, personally).
My favorite thing about ISAT is it's characters and story, with the would-building as a close 3rd! I have to be careful not to reveal too much, because it's really so charming to experience first-hand.
ANOTHER favorite thing about ISAT is it's art direction! Don't be fooled by it's b/w style, it is chock full of attention to detail and delightful visual work.
Ok though, I actually lied! My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing about ISAT is it's Storytelling through gameplay - you have to take a fair share of initiative to really dig into it all! The game doesn't really sit down and try to tell you everything in a writer-to-a-reader way; instead the world and characters feel like they're living and breathing and communicating and experiencing! And so, subsequently, you the player experience the world very naturally as well!
In addition to this, the tone and energy of the writing is something I found very unique! It is so worth giving it a go!
Lastly, copying over something I've said before:
I actually didn't realize the cast was LGBTQ+ before I started playing, so that was a fantastic surprise. This game is angled to talk about the queer experience while being interwoven with the themes and setting - and it was a great experience for me to see, in particular, aro and/or ace characters portrayed excellently - both thematically and realistically!!! (And i do mean this. To write the queerness into the themes/worldbulding is, really really cool!)
I'm currently working through my second playthrough of it! I'm trying to catch the few things I missed. In general the playtime of this game can vary greatly! Some places say it's got a 8-10 hour runtime, but some real goobers out there can clock 40 hours or more (because they are insane. I say this with an awed voice not a judgemental one).
I'm not actually sure how long my playthrough took! It's the price i pay for leaving the game running in the background....

Don't mind me if I go insane again <3
At the beginning of this scene, after a week spent bedridden after fighting Isaac, Hector is outside, but under the shadow, almost like a vampire. He's not hiding from the human world anymore, he's not hiding in a church he's using as protection; but still, he's not confident enough to bask in the light of God yet, not with all the guilt he feels. You can tell by the way he looks at the church below that he's still full of turmoil. He wants to leave again. He doesn't want to endanger Rosaly who did so much for him.
But then Rosaly showers him with love, like she does. She asks for his help with chores, like a common man. He witnesses her being surrounded by children who adore her and bring her food, and how much she cares about them. The children themselves seem to like Hector for no particular reason: they just trust him. Rosaly jokes that if he's so healthy that he can leave, he's also healthy enough to give her a hand. With pure honesty, she insists that she really, really wants Hector to live with her, in this former orphanage, for the sake of both of them: Rosaly, because she lives alone, and Hector, because he'll be loved here.
And Hector is finally convinced.
"It wouldn't be bad, to stay under the sun just a while..."
The English line is "It might not be a bad idea to stay here for a while in this sunny place...", which works. It conveys the image of a bright, warm home, unlike Hector's previous home. But 日だまり means "sunny spot", a smaller area, but where the sun shines strongly.
I think the focus of the declaration is exactly this: no longer Hector will seek the shadow. He's willing to live under the sunlight, right in the open and unafraid of God, with Rosaly.
And, of course, the rest of the dialogue is beautiful too.
"I just think... humans are strong."
"What do you mean? You're a human too. You're a funny guy, Hector."
I adore Rosaly's gentle reminder that Hector is human, that he too is strong: an innocent, simple absolution of all of Hector's self-doubt, he who clung so strongly onto his own humanity despite everything telling him that he's not. Rosaly has no idea what is going on in his mind, and that makes the line just more touching. It's only natural, to her.
why am i so emotional over this story guys i don't know ;A;

Concept ideas for the lords in black cosplay designs makeup-wise
Pokey: Blue veins on random parts of his body, most prominently around his neck and eyes, maybe a crack or two on the side of his face like a porcelain mask
Blinky: Eyes covering a majority of his face and trailing down onto other parts of his body, fully black contacts where his normal eyes should be
Tinky: Face paint trailing from his mouth to give him an unnaturally wide smile joker-style, small blocks scattered around his face like a toddler just finished playing them
Nibbly: red and black goo dripping from his mouth, small spots of the goo splattered on his cheeks, large prosthetic teeth, pink goo dripping from his eyes
Wiggly: Small patches of fur scattered on his face that looks like someone attempted to rip it out, like a toddler played with its favorite toy too hard, spiral eyes in green and yellow, an inhuman glisten to his skin like a plastic doll
