If I was mikan and I received anything resembling an apology from Saionji, I'd throw her ass and throw Mahiru's too for good measure. I think an apology after all this time would be hollow and not exactly satisfactory.

I'd like to think that the Danganronpa Anthology story showing Mahiru taking care of Mikan and making sure she gets included in the girls' activities is canon. So I don't know that Mikan would have adequate reason to throw (either literally or verbally) Koizumi. I mean, if we're going to start throwing everybody who failed to step up and stop Hiyoko's behavior... that line is forming around the block. :(

But as for Hiyoko, I think the truth is that Mikan is quick to blame herself for the treatment she receives. She often believes she must deserve it. And even if she gets past that unhealthy way of thinking, I think she's just too kind-hearted to bear much of a grudge. So I imagine she'd be very quick to accept any apology.

But STILL.

Do I think that Mikan refusing to accept any apology from Saionji would be kinda out of character for Mikan? Yes.

Do I deeply want to see it happen anyway? Also Yes.
