Sherlock Holmes Fluff Alphabet

A - Activities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

Honestly, Sherlock's main passion are his cases. So if he wishes to spend time with you, he is most likely to take you along on a case or tell you about all the thoughts running through his mind.

It is, however, not the only thing he does in his life. In between cases, he likes to read or play music. You could thus those together, or you could do any activity you might like whilst he does one of those.

On occasion, you might have a drink together, but it is more likely to happen in the privacy of your own home.

B - Beauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

Sherlock likes someone with wits; someone who likes to cultivate their intellect through any means they see fit. He does have a certain admiration for emotionally intelligent people too, who are empathetic and capable of understanding their feelings.

C - Comfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

When you first meet, Sherlock is at loss on how to comfort you. It first takes some observing from him and conversations with you for him to learn what to do. He is however a fast learner and will constantly try to improve upon what he already knows to work.

D - Dreams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

He may not be very likely to admit it, but Sherlock can no longer imagine the future without you being beside him. He has no specific plans regarding what he wishes, he only knows he wants you to be a part of it.

E - Equal - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

Sherlock has his habits and he cares about those being respected. He may also take some decisions regarding both of you without consulting you first when your relationship starts, often because he believes he knows better.

If it is something that bothers you, however, he will hear you out and make sure not to take any important decisions without talking them over with you first.

F - Fight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

I don't picture Sherlock as the shouting type, unlike Mycroft. He is, however, very stern and serious, and honestly quite intimidating.

He cannot stay mad at you very long though. He does not want to. Fights are fun for no one and he prefers to avoid them altogether by having a calm conversation.

G - Gratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Sherlock is very observing, so he is likely to notice small things you do for him. Some he might take more for granted than others though. What he would appreciate the most would probably be when you help him on a case, either because you let him ramble to you or because you actually engage and give your opinion.

H - Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

This man is far from being an open book, so yes, Sherlock has secrets. But they are usually not intentional. He is more likely to consider something is not worth sharing than actually try to hide it from you.

I - Inspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

You definitely changed him in ways. I can picture Sherlock as being more open to his relatives after starting a relationship with you. He bothers trying to understand his feelings, instead of bottling them all up. Because now, cases are not the only thing that matter anymore, you are there too.

J - Jealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

Once you are in a relationship, Sherlock is not very worried when it comes to your honesty or loyalty. He believes you to be a good partner, who would not do such a thing. He does remain a bit warier towards strangers or even acquaintances that could attempt to court you.

However, before your relationship was properly established, he was worried someone would court you and win your heart, although he would never have admitted it.

K - Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Sherlock has very little experience in this regard and he does not kiss you often. He is however very gentle whenever it happens, unless you initiate something more passionate. In which case, he will follow your lead and adapt to your pace.

Every once in a while, he might be the one to initiate a more passionate kiss however. Maybe after being absent for a prolonged amount of time or after either of you were in danger but you made it out safely.

L - Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

A confession from Sherlock can not be as simple as him just telling you he loves you. The first time he attempts it, it probably flies over your head, because it barely even sounds like a confession. "I appreciate your presence." or "I value your opinion." are sentences that take you aback, but there was no reason for you to read into them you thought.

He finally confesses clearly when he starts thinking his feelings aren't shared. That is when the puzzle pieces are finally able to click in your brain.

M - Marriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose?

Considering the era, you would be bound to marry. Not that Sherlock minds, however, since he likes to picture you growing old together.

He would talk about his proposal ideas with Enola before going through with it. No one wants a repeat of his confession not being clear.

N - Nicknames - What do they call their s/o?

I don't picture Sherlock as a nickname man. He prefers to refer to you by your name directly but he occasional "dear" may slip out.

O - On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

Sherlock definitely tries his very best to hide his feelings. And for most people, it works. They would not be able to tell if he was in love or not. Enola might be able to read through it, though, because Sherlock would let things slip. He would mention you by name, stop to greet you and actually speak, and sometimes even smile. Knowing her brother, she can tell something is different about you.

Despite hiding it relatively well, Sherlock's mind is racing. At first, he does not understand why his thoughts keep going back to you, but as time passes, he starts accepting it and lets his mind flow freely.

When it comes to you, Sherlock is quicker to compliment you than most people. He may even offer to walk you somewhere, which he would ordinarily never do.

P - PDA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

Considering he does not kiss you a lot even when you are married, kissing you in public would be a big no-no. The only acceptable gesture would be for you to hold onto his arm, or to dance at a ball (if Sherlock agrees to that in the first place).

Boasting is not really his style either and would not be very acceptable anyway. At most he will compliment you in front of others.

Q - Quirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.

It is Sherlock Holmes we are talking about, so of course his observational skills are an advantage. They can however be an inconvenience if you try to surprise him.

R - Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Not a big, grand gesture type of romantic, Sherlock would however accept to do small things to make you happy. Dancing in your living room, playing music for you, buying you flowers etc.

S - Support - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?

Of course he does. Sherlock would be your number 1 supporter, even if it's not always explicit. He would listen to you talk about your goals, dreams and plans for the future, and he would help you find ways to achieve them.

T - Thrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?

Like I said earlier, Sherlock likes to have a certain routine. I think it's especially the case in your relationship because the rest of his life is usually not like that. Every case is different, so every day is different. But having a constant, through your relationship, helps him ground himself.

U - Understanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

Because he is so observational, Sherlock knows a lot about you. Or at least about all the physical things that regard you: your hobbies, your likes, your dislikes etc. He struggles more with knowing and understanding your thoughts, however. But with time, he learns and gets better at it.

V - Value - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?

Would Sherlock give up on being a detective for you? Probably not. But is your relationship important to him? Yes, definitely. Especially once you confessed to each other, it becomes one of his priorities to keep courting you properly until he can propose. After that, keeping your relationship steady and making sure you are happy remains at the top of his list.

W - Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

Sherlock likes to hide little things for you, wondering if you will find them and realize how they winded up there. Things like dried flowers or small notes in books.

Besides that, even if he almost always manages to deduct that you are preparing a surprise for him, he will occasionally play along. Not every time, because he thinks he would be too obvious. But every once in a while, he will pretend you managed to trick him just because it clearly makes you happy.

X - XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

Only ever in private and usually at night, when you are lying in bed together. Sherlock is not a big one for physical affection, hugs are rare and kisses even more so. But holding you close and pressing his lips against your forehead as you quietly talk to each other before falling asleep... that's a yes.

Y - Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

Distraction, preferably a case, something that can keep his mind busy while you are away. Else he is likely to spiral like he sometimes does between cases.

Z - Zeal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

The furthest I can picture him going would be to drop a case if your life is in danger. If it is his own, no. But you, yes. He cannot afford to loose you.

I think this fandom is too normal about Petronille. WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S ONLY IN HER LATE TEENS/EARLY 20'S WHAT DO YOU MEAN?????

Like like!!!! We don't have a timeline on when Bonnie and Nille ran away from home, but it HAS to be when Bonnie was really young. Bonnie doesn't seem to remember their parents well at all, and the most we hear about them is that they were "mean". So like!!!! Depending on how old you see Bonnie (10-12ish) and how young you think the two ran away, that could range from 5 to 9 years give or take.

Thats!!!! A range!!! At the oldest Nille (say 24) she was 18 or 19 when the two ran away, which is an adult but still pretty young, but the youngest range????? Hello??? If Nille is 19 now, she could have been as young as 11 when she took Bonnie!!!! What!!!!

I don't think that's the case, but still??? If we take the average of those two, Nille would be 16!!! 16!!!!! And taking care of her sibling basically on her own!!! Nille is a kid who had to grow up too fast and take on the world to make sure Bonnie and her could survive!!! Nille's probably been fighting a good chunk of her life for their happiness and that doesn't even ACCOUNT for the abuse their parents messed her up with. And then after EVERYTHING basically sacrificed herself so Bonnie could have a chance to live from the King's Curse!!!!!

And after all that!!!! Suddenly, she's offered protection from 4 random adults who also adore her sibling and want to take care of the both of them??? What do you do with that??? Do you even BELIEVE that??? Can you even trust that someone else than you could be trusted with your baby sibling? That you can let someone else take that responsibility. The responsibility that you took on with your whole heart and soul to the point you made sure that even if you basically DIED for all that mattered, at least Bonnie would have a chance.

You've been asleep for months and woken up in a new reality where you're not your sibling's whole world anymore. They've changed. You weren't there for it. These people Iove Bonnie so much. But do they know them as much as you do??? They weren't there all this time!!! You should know your sibling better than anyone here!!!

And yet. Yet...

You don't know what to make of this. You're happy Bonnie's safe. You're terrified you don't recognize the new parts of them that have shown up without you being there.

Your sibling lives in a whole new world now. They love you. They would come back to it just being the two of you if you pushed it.

But if you do, you're not sure Bonnie would ever forgive you for it.

Haha sure, it's a fic I wrote called maybe one day I'll be home again for a Phanniemay prompt back in... jeez, 2018! Zilly's original comic inspired me too and I said as much in the author's notes, but they'd deactivated their previous tumblr by that point so the link's to a reblog on my own. I can always tell when somebody's read this fic because I'll get a couple notifs on that post.

anyway re: the tags on my dumb gifset of otter playing video games for pr purposes it is truly WILD that him & robo have gone on record about like. being friends and how much they love being teammates and having developed their careers together. given that i do not think they have a single normal thing in common. like they don’t even have the same dumb bro hobbies!! they both in fact suck at the other’s preferred dumb bro hobby!!! but you get down to it & the things that they do seem to have in common are like .......... insane awareness of the Narrative & their place in it, their relative place in each other’s Narratives, etc etc. also a kind of hyper-competitiveness at their respective positions that means that they both constantly want to practice and perform and get better in a way that’s really lent themselves to even further entwine their careers via using the other to practice, perform, & get better. + their whole ‘actively trying to be so normal and well adjusted that you circle back around to being a different flavor of freak’ thing that i’ve talked about at length already. if they hadn’t both been drafted into the same environment & had just ended up meeting at like ..... team usa events or all star games or whatever i Do Not Think they’d register on each other’s radars and i find that fascinating.

Ok so about the OCs I mentioned earlier today. Here's a brief rundown of them:

-I generally call their story "Soldiers Poets and Kings"

-The general premise of the world is that there are humans and dragons, and the two have a sort of symbiotic relationship. Humans can generate mana but can't cast magic with it, and dragons can cast magic but can't generate mana.

-Humans can't handle the amount of mana their bodies generate, so all adult humans have a dragon companion who siphons magic off of them. These pairs have a psychic connection that's formed when the dragon half hatches, and this link is what allows the siphoning of mana.

-There's also a secret third kind of person: Drakes! Drakes are inherently tied to prophecies-- anytime there's a prophecy, there's a drake tied to it; and anytime there's a drake, they're involved with a prophecy. Drakes have a humanoid form with unique draconic aspects to them, and form mana siphoning bonds just as humans do. There have been cases of drakes learning to cast magic, but it's not common. It has been documented that drakes are uniquely capable of forming siphoning bonds with each other, and that with more siphoning bonds they grow more likely to cast magic.

-The main characters of the story are three drakes and their corresponding dragon bonds. I love all of them dearly.

-The Sun Bond is made up of Mallory (drake) and Thyrsus (dragon), and are more widely known as the Warriors.

-The Moon Bond is made up of Ripland (drake) and Moonbeam (dragon), and are more widely known as the Diplomats.

-The Sun and Moon bonds were raised together in a citadel atop a mountain and hailed as very high ranking nobility. All four of them were trained from an incredibly young age to fit the roles assigned to them. Generally the four of them have relatively positive outlooks on their prophecy, and their goal has always been to actually fulfill it, though they're kind of growing tired of life at the Citadel.

-The Earth Bond is made up of Shark (drake) and Nill (dragon), and their colloquial name is technically the Survivors, though they aren't nearly as well known as the Sun and Moon bonds.

-The Earth Bond were raised in the middle of the woods by a pair of caretakers sent by the citadel, and were told of a modified prophecy wherin they were the only two involved. They are not excited about their grand destiny and would rather just live their lives as healers by their little town.

-I could go on for days so I'm gonna leave this one here but I will come back to write more about these guys individually because I love them so very dearly

She’s seen Summer more over the past few weeks than she has over the past few years, thanks to Lily and Mackenzie and their inseparability. Heather is used to opening the front door and seeing Summer standing there on the step already smiling, and she knows the way to Summer’s place now because she’s picked Lily up there a time or two. And now here they are, sitting on a cement patio at the last party of the school year and Summer Calvo is bringing her water.

Heather expects it to feel weird but it doesn’t.

you didn't mean to. it was honestly an accident, but who would believe you? you need to watch your back now, because everyone is after you. why wouldn't they be? for all they know, you did it on purpose. when you die, it's from finally being caught by the wrong people. you die afraid, and still running. unbeknownst to you, you are swiftly avenged. your unnecessary death does not go unpunished.

Day 15 of Fluffvember 2023 Gender & race neutral reader Requested by anon

“What d’you think?” Ace asked excitedly, pulling open the curtain of his changing room.

Your mouth fell a little, while your brain went numb. No words came to mind as you detailed your boyfriend. Fitted in vintage Levi jeans, a washed out red shirt, a pair of black pumps and a leather jacket, Ace looked dashing. Was it a classic look? Absolutely. But don’t fix it if it ain’t broken; and Ace in this outfit definitely was not broken.

“Babe?” he wondered, faced with your silence.

Suddenly realizing how long you had remained quiet, you started by smiling. If no words could come to mind at least you could show that you approved of the look.

“D’you like it?” Ace asked with a grin.

Your smile still growing, you nodded. Then, slowly, you approached. Shamelessly checking him out, you motioned to Ace to do a 360 turn. Understanding where you were going, he did not discuss. Instead, he slowly spinned on himself and stopped when his back was facing you.

“So?” he wondered after a few seconds, meeting your gaze in the mirror across from him.

Being right behind him now, you nodded.

“I think you look amazing.”

And for good measure, you accompanied your sentence by a quick slap on the butt.

Not completely humorous, but if something slightly embarrassing happens, he will easily laugh it off, instead of pretending it never happened.

Overall, well kept. His chest is slightly hairy, but it is not a jungle.

As for intimate areas, he probably has just a patch of hair.

Hello! Your isat siblings au is very good and now has me wondering about how stuff like Sif's wish might play out differently since they're not so horribly isolated. How do they end up thinking about discovering that they're an Islander if they've grown up more constantly reminded of their memory problems (the people who taught him vaugardian are people he's still living and traveling with)?

Unrelated but brain still whirring, do you think the way Sif and Bonny end up joining the party would end up looking different?

i explained the islander thing a few asks ago, but its because nille noticed they were! nille was also a teen when the island dissapeared, and, in the game, shes the one who taught bonnie how big of a deal it was! so of course she'd know. she's from the northern coast, after all :3 (im still figuring out sif's wish btw)

Bonnie pushed weakly at Siffrin's arms, a pout in their face, "You keep saying that, but you look like crab, Frin."

The cloaked one sighed, "Language."

Bonnie huffed. Siffrin smiled.

He stared at the road ahead, and fixed Bonnie's position so they wouldn't fall, and continued walking.

It had been days (weeks? close to a month? he'd lost count and despite all of his "progress" he still couldn't bring himself to ask Bonnie for help with this one) since they'd had to run from Bambouche, and while he liked to think himself a capable adult, the sudden change to traveling on his own after living comfortably with Nille and Bonnie for almost a decade, now, had thrown them for a loop.

They were hungry, tired, and stressed. He had managed to keep Bonnie fed well enough, but he didn't risk staying anywhere for too long, fearing the curse catching up to them.

Catching up to him, and leaving Bonnie alone, like it had caught up to Nille. Catching up to Bonnie-

He tried not to think too hard.

His legs shook with every step. Bonnie was not too heavy for them to carry, of course not, but they were exhausted.

He set them down.

“Frin?” Bonnie asked, tilting their head.

“Break time.” He stated, slumping down next to them.

Bonnie nodded easily, laying their head on his shoulder, “Do you think.. that we will find a clean town?”

Clean town, dirty town… That’s how they’d taken to differentiating curse affected towns from normal ones. Bonnie had come up with it.

They were yet to find a clean town.

“Maybe. But only after tomorrow, Bug.” There was no use promising a certain date, but wording it like that was kinder, he thought.

“You think so?”

Siffrin smiled. “Yeah, for sure, Bon.”

He'd just had to make sure to word it differently, next time.

Then, suddenly, out of the corner of their eye...

They rested there for a few minutes. The forest was not quiet, as wind was picking up, making the leaves rustle loudly.

A sadness. Paper type, by the looks of it.

They hurried to stand so they could pick Bonnie and run, but…

Three people were fighting it.

Well.. fighting it seemed like a stretch. It looked like they were struggling against it, in Siffrin's personal opinion.

Really struggling. One of them was K.O.’d, the other looked like a rock type, and the other…

He swallowed. He looked at Bonnie, who was dozing off in his arms, and made a decision.

"Bon, hey," he nudged them, and they turned to him, "Stay here for a sec, I will be right back, okay?"

Bonnie blinked, and nodded, their eyes full of trust.

Siffrin smiled, patted their shoulder.

Then, he lunged forward.

"AH!!" One of the strangers exclaimed, and fell back in surprise. He ignored him, and attacked the sadness with their favorite attack, and exclaimed:

"Knife to meet you!" as they attacked.

He fell on his feet, the sadness poofing behind him, and he huffed a shaky breath. He then turned to the strangers, an easy smile on his face, "Hello," he waved.

They stared silently for a few seconds.

The one in the middle- a girl- smiled wide, and reached forward to grab their hand, "Hello! Thank you so much for your help!" She beamed.

Siffrin jolted a bit from the sudden contact, but smiled back, "It was, uh, it was no problem!"

One of the other two who were hanging back, an older lady, nodded along, "Yes, thank you." She said, looking out of breath, "That sadness..."

"Was tough! Really tough!" The other person exclaimed, "I could barely get a hit in!"

"Good thing I took it by surprise then-" Siffrin said, turning back his head to look for Bonnie, "I- nice to meet you, really, but-"

"Wait, wait, wait!" The girl said, not letting go of his hand, "Quest! We're on a quest, to stop the king's curse!!"

Siffrin turned back to her quickly at that, "The... curse? Like the freezing?"

"Yes!" She beamed, "And you seem strong! Won't you join us?"

Siffrin blinked, gaping a little, "Me?"

"Yes, you!" The girl insisted.

"I-" They paused, thinking. If they could help them... then, Nille...

"Okay, I'll help!" He said resolutely.

The man behind the girl put a hand on her shoulder, "Mira! Won't you introduce us?"

She blushed, "Right! I'm Mirabelle, I'm immune to the King's curse! He," She pointed to the man, "Is Isabeau, and she," She pointed to the lady who was still catching her breath, "Is Madame Odile! What's your name?"

Siffrin smiled, "I'm Siffrin- and I have my little sibling with me back there," He pointed back to the bushes with his thumb, and took a step back, "I'll uh, be right back?"

Mirabelle's eyebrows shot up in surprise, "Oh! Oh, uh! Sure!"

He quickly ran back to his sibling, trying to calm his still racing heart, "Bonnie, you can come out now." He said, pushing aside a bush.

Bonnie's head popped up behind it, "Was that a sadness?" They asked, "I heard people. Did we find a town?"

Siffrin ruffled their hair, making them groan playfully, "No, but I did find some nice people who say they're gonna stop the freezing."

Bonnie stood up, surprised, "REALLY?"

He smiled, "Yes, really! They want us to tag along, what do you think?" He asked gently, already knowing the answer.

"CRAB YEAH!" Bonnie exclaimed, excited, "Nille- she- she's gonna be okay!!!" They smiled a toothy grin, relieved.

Siffrin nodded, patting their shoulder, "Yeah, yeah."

He took their hand in theirs, and walked back to Mirabelle's party. They ignored how tired they felt, and gave everyone a easy smile.

"what if the king adopts siffrin" "NO what if Bonnie and nille adopt him" "wait what if ofile adopts them" WELL WHAT ABOUT EUPHRASIE ADOPTING SIFFRIN.

Hear me out.

Housemaiden Euphrasie finds a dark haired teen with nothing more than the clothes on his back, a shitty dagger in hand, and a handful of Vaugardian and Porterian phrases under their belt. She hears their accent, sees those metal pins, *knows* that light hair far too similar to her own and decides. This child should be protected.

So she gives him a place to stay, among her fellow housepeople at the House of Change in Dormont.

And Siffrin grows up there. He visits the Observatory with her, studies that eternally locked door, takes a few classes and learns about the Change God. He clings to her when there's too many people in the cafeteria or when that one new scientist girl starts flirting with """Euphie""". Siffrin reads so many manuscripts of plays, takes classes to learn other languages and acting courses to occupy time and maybe sometimes he visits other cities to explore other Houses (with Euphrasie, ofc). He can help her see who wished for Vaugarde to be saved, and run away faster than anyone and escape the House when the King arrives. And later he can stumble on that study-all girl, rumored to be blessed by the Change God (how strange!) after helping her growing party defeat a particularly large sadness. Then he can see Euphrasie and panic when she starts to speak nonsense, saying something is broken, failing, rotting, and realize that Vaugarde's intent, as pure as it was, has trapped him in time. And then he can cry when he "shoves" her and apologize and she can just hug him and promise them that its ok!!!! Its all over, its all ok, and she's more than happy to bless them on his new journey.

And Euphrasie!! She cares for Siffrin almost like her own child. He has a family, somewhere, but until they can be reunited... she can be a guardian. She can play favorites just a little when she's nominated and accepts the position of Head Housemaiden (she pretends not to see Siffrin cry with pride). She can teach him, and try to bury the past under the changing future with them. She can tell him about the wishes, and they can wish for a savior from the King together. She can cry and hope that Siffrin escaped, or that Mirabelle was able to save him with her blessing. She can see the broken, rotting, failing wish and Siffrin with tired eyes and an exhaustion in his bones, and know that their past- even just a little- has caught up and it has ruined them. She can see the haze of something familiar take over her and wake up to a viscious shade still in the sky, coming from... Siffrin? She only gets a glimpse, though, before she's out like a light and waking up to overhearing Siffrin talk with his party about continuing to travel. She can heal herself as as much as she wants to hold them close again... they deserve to explore the world with a new family. So when she blesses them, she asks they never forget her and the promise to come back and write letters and they whisper "I love you" before parting ways.

So yeah, Euphrasie adopts siffrin
