I have such a huge thing for Roses- which is hilarious, actually, considering I used to hate them. But I grew my first one on a whim right after meeting my Husband and fell head over heels in love with them. I've been slowly photographing different varieties around the places I've lived since then.

Left: A gorgeous light pink that I found across the street from my old house between 2015 and 2018; I've always wanted to grab a clipping of this one to try and propagate it for my own collection.

Right: A light pink one that my Mother in Law grows. Sadly I've only seen it bloom once, in 2020, however.

Left: Pretty sure that this is actually the same variety as above, but it was from a different house down the road from the original. And it was a darker pink, weirdly enough.

Right: A pink Knockout Rose I found near the Tag Agency in my hometown right after I first got my Nikkon.

Left: A thornless Red-Pink I found in my hometown one time; taken with my A-Dad's Canon EOS in 2016, before I got my Nikkon.

Right: Another Knockout Rose, this time a magenta, found by the same Tag Agency, taken at the same time.

Above: The one and only true red rose I've ever seen growing- found during the same trip as the two from the Tag Agency. It was unique, too, because the buds were barely bigger than a dime or nickel; I think I've actually identified it as a Petite Knockout.

Left: Another rose from my Mother in Law's garden; this is the one I originally planted there when we were living here the first time, that started the entire love affair for me.

Right: South Africa Sunbelt- a gorgeous yellow I planted at our old house back in 2016 or 2017, right before me moved away; I'm determined to have this beauty in my garden again at some point.

I have more photos of Roses but the rest are all really crappy old Instagram photos and aren't worth posting.

Tell us about your photography and favorite subjects to photograph and stuff.

Not really sure what to tell about it. I'm self-taught but I'd love to go to courses to learn more. I have Nikkon camera and 4 lenses. My first camera was my dad's Olympus camera, i started to take interest into photography during my first trip abroad when i was 14. My first attempts were shit of course but I'm glad i really improved and now i can do really cool things.

I really love nature photography and I guess that where i am very strong, also city photography as i love looking for details and different povs. Astrophotography is still new to me but becoming my favorite for sure.
