a video of mine on tiktok blew up about how tiring fandom culture can be and 99% of the 1k plus comments are people saying they didn't know other people thought the same or thanking me for saying it. how did we lose the plot??? fandom is and has always been supposed to be fun. this kind of response makes me think that there's a significant population of people out there bored or even truly miserable forcing themselves to consume content that doesn't excite them so they're a "true fan."

Happy 2024!

Another year another year huh. This is the third I've spent either working the next day or alone (mostly bc the fam has gone to bed). My resolution is to make sure the rest of mine aren't like this. I want a party. I want a collective cheers. I want to recklessly set off fireworks. Cheers to this being the year! It's the last of my 20s. i might as well finish it up with a bang.
