Swoopingbat - Warrior of NightClan

The bare-faced and battle-scarred NightClan warrior, Swoopingbat. Quiet, cold, and strange yet frighteningly skilled at climbing and hunting in NightClan's caves. He falls on his targets with such silence and precision, you would swear he had wings...

Swoop! I love him more than life itself. He's based on a Lykoi cat, though here it's explained as an "unknown skin condition," and so scarred due to an encounter with a wolverine as an apprentice. Honestly, I've realized I probably shouldn't have started with NightClan, as while it has most of my favorite cats in it, it also isn't where much of the action is. So I'm gonna focus on introducing major cats from the other clans so we can start telling real stories, but I love Swoopingbat so much I just HAD to get his portrait drawn

Sunclan

Everything started with Sunstar (sunscar), him and his mate ran away from their clans after everyone figured out they were from different clans, him from thunderclan and hers was windclan, they set off to live peacefully together elsewhere far away without rules or codes (his mate was also a med cat)

Nightclan

Nightstar was the first kit of sunstar and his mate (forestfall), her and her brother were raised by their uncle in hopes their parents wouldn’t be discovered, they were lol, in result she had to leave with her parents as her birth clan (windclan) rejected her (they weren’t having non of it atm)

Cloudclan

Cloudstar was one of Sun’s and Forest’s kits on their journey to the new lands, she just wanted to live in the marshes honestly and was a bit fed up with all her brothers, so she made cloudclan and spent her days chasing frogs

Rainclan

Rainstar was a loner from the area of the clans before they formed, she was extremely head strong and didn’t take orders so she made her own clan on the beach, taking Cloudstar’s brother, Appletail as a mate

Frostclan

Old Frost lived in the mountains, long story short, not many other cats wanted to live there so they just let him be, he was already living up in the snow cave at the beginning of the clans, eventually more cats joined and became a clan, Cloudstar’s second brother, Leafnose became leader after Froststar

in conclusion the Sun and Forest family spilt into the five clans, though those weren’t their only kits (they had eight in total and most stayed in sunclan)

In Reaching for the Stars (the name of my Warriors fanstory), not anyone can connect with Starclan. It requires a certain trait that the clan cats refer to as being Starcrossed. 

In RftS it’s strongly encouraged for all members of the clan to talk about strange dreams they have, as while it does show up in the eyes, the only true proof of being Starcrossed is actually succeeding in contacting Starclan. 

However, not all Starcrossed are equal. Usually healers and leaders have a strong version of Starcrossed, and most cats are not Starcrossed. 

I used the leadership + 1 warrior of Nightclan to show how it varies! Echostar is the most Starcrossed, and Shadowtongue is not Starcrossed at all.

So I recently found this trend on Youtube in which you draw cats from a randomly generated Clan generator thing (very good explanation). Anyways so I introduce to you (the reader) NightClan, the attentive and tired.

So first up we have the leader Sootstar. I imagine her to be a very cool and collected kind of person and would rather win a battle using her head rather than her claws.

Next up, we have Slugheart, NightClan's deputy and is very much a contrast with Sootstar personalitywise. She'd be the first to be in a fight and would be proud of a new scar she's gained (I know the scars are hard to see but they're there).

And finally we have the Clan's medicine cat Cormorantfang. I imagine he's more like Sootstar but is also tired of putting up with everyone's crap. At this point he's just counting down the days until he can finally retire and be the annoying one to his Clan. I also imagine these three (Sootstar, Slugheart, and Cormorantfang) being siblings.

Soaringstar - Leader of NightClan

Soaringstar is the second oldest leader of the SunClans, but despite this recently welcomed her first litter of kits with her mate Rumblerock. She feels her life is passing her by too quickly, and despite all she's accomplished, she still feels as though she is missing something...

And we have officially started this blog with the leader of NightClan! I have 151 cats left to draw. Can I do it? We will see!

The Nightclan roleplay recently got a second revamp and we decided to start the revamp on where the first revamp left off. The Dark Forest plotline! Starting in I think 2021, I had been making designs for lots of Dark Forest cats, mostly to populate the Dark Forest since I planned for there to be a great battle against the Dark Forest, just like in the original books. I have decided that I will be revamping/redesigning a lot of these cats and so I bring you the revamped design of Foxcry (who I believe may have been the first Dark Forest cat I designed for the plot line back in 2021)

appearance description: Foxcry is a tortoiseshell tom with blue eyes, he has a long scar across his side and a scarred, twisted front paw.

cause of death: killed by a fox

trivia: Foxcry received his prefix due to a fox attacking camp the day he was born

Foxcry was exiled from Sparrowclan after attempting to murder Talonstar. He then later tricked Nightclan into letting him join after he pretended to chase some wolves out of their territory

Ruverfin did ask Poolcrawl and she said yes to her brother dating him

Rainroot and Honeystar got together and Honeystar broke up with him

However Honeystar and Riverfin did get together again
