On the topic of the less popular tropes: Tony's POV.

So many fics are through Peter's eyes and we see how he feels about Tony and what Tony means to him in his life, and honestly there isn't enough of people showing the effect that Peter has on Tony.

I want all the fics where Tony dwells on just how good Peters been for him as a positive influence in his life and also how much the kid has helped him with his mental health. How far Tony's come since meeting the kid in his apartment, how in just a year he feels like he's grown just as much as he did in the previous 5.

I want Tony sitting there in awe of this kid tinkering away in front of him, watching the way his hands work and reminding Tony so much of himself, but SO MUCH BETTER. This wonderfully good, astonishingly brilliant version of Tony that's somehow chosen HIM to pave this kid's future.

I want Tony, broken and defeated after IW, being inspired by Peter because, no, Peter wouldn't want him to be broken, Peter always saw the good in him, the resolve, the fight, the courage, even when he couldn't see it in himself, and Peter would whole-heartedly believe that even this was something that Tony could pull through from. So maybe he would try, just one more time. For the kid.

We just don't see the feels from Tony's POV explored enough in fics

so like. EDITH. amirite?

when did Tony make her? theres no specific point in the mcu that we can trace back to where she gets created. we know Tony has the glasses in IW, but for all we know those could just be regular glasses, or just be FRIDAY, or even could already be EDITH, and Tony just didn't need to use them.

My biggest reason for this ramble is that Tony didnt make EDITH for Peter, she said so herself in FFH. BUT Fury was told specifically to give them to Peter. Why? Why Peter? Tony literally has a daughter. i know i know, Morgan was just an accessory and in reality we're just supposed to forget about her but shhh i want answers within canon. Was he not comfortable with her having them before she was of age? Was he already working with Peter to take over SI and didn't want that to go to waste if he blipped back?

AND. Peter was (obviously) still given access to EDITH. Was she created post time heist? Did Tony know, or even have hope that Peter would be back? Or did he just give Peter access out of force of habit or just on the off chance that the blip wouldnt be permanent? AND THEN how did he get to Fury to tell him to give it to Peter? Was it just like part of his will? 'Dear Fury. Please give to Peter' Couldnt he have just straight given it to Peter then?

Again, I know this is just me looking too deep into things that dont actually have answers because the mcu is messy. but i like to flesh out canon in any fandom that im in as much as possible, and that means creating copious headcanons to fill in the gaps, i just, cant figure this one out. not in canon at least.
