Just a thought, but aren’t we watching a branched timeline and not the scared timeline MCU because Wanda had a nexus event therefore branching.

I’m really curious on the sacred timeline ending beside the apocalypse for obvious reasons. Although imagine when MCU reached it peak, a Kang variant kills Loki Who Remains and created his own sacred timeline then that will be our reboot of MCU lol

The Iron hands event with the new weapons in 2016 was probably one of the last events I ever got the mark for successfully as an unmarked ilsan warrior. (ilsan and unmarked wasnt something I planned on -- there was no one else at ilsan to hunt with, but plenty more people to hunt with in Courtyard, so I never bothered with the mark.)

This part kinda sucked, someone posted a recipe for all the posts which they figured out pretty quickly. Admittedly I had done the event at the worst possible time; off peak hours, when almost everyone had already done the quest. This way the quest items needed were abundant and plentiful and weren’t overpriced, but this also meant there would be no one to hunt with.

To get around not having people to hunt with, I would log in and out around monsters with one warrior, and paralyze and invoke on another character; Two of my characters were the same event cave. I was absolutely lucky with that.

There was also a giant spider in the middle of the map that also did a ton of damage to anyone unlucky to stand next to it; I hated this map a lot.

There was also a bunch of clicking and pop up reading which didnt help with the other mobs present. I remember quitting to repara and move mobs away , I dont remember nearly dying however.

And this was the near end of the event maps, the order of which I mostly forgot.

I remember this being really significant; the sip san sear blade was planned to do a lot of damage but could never be used.

And this ^ is the second final text box where he assumes the iron hands will be back. Keep in mind, this was July 2016. I have a lot of experience with trying to “get around” the problems nexus usually has, but I’d rather play a game where I’m not forced to use that kind of “second-thinking” in order to get around mechanics that involve scores upon scores of other people to play the game with. I like the return of the iron hands as well; theyre far more interesting than recycling the zibong, sagu, sonhi , blight, forsaken, or mupa events; mostly because they’re NEW villains and not old ones. So thats mostly all I have to say on the iron hand event from July 2016; 1) I did it late 2) I did it when the prices for items weren’t enormous 3) I did it alone But I still completed it; its also one of the few events I ever did.

If Nexus wants to be around for another 10 years it needs to change its content model, severely.

Because no one is going to do what I did to get anything done, And not getting it done the way I did, wouldn't make other participants "less of a player" than I am. There are other things they need to do too, but updating the chances of finishing an event alone would substantially and dramatically improve the game.

I know we’ve wondered if Mobius’ life on the sacred timeline involves a husband…and it’s totally possible, right?

But I’ve never heard of any fan casting for this hypothetical husband. So, what if that husband was played by none other than…Ben Stiller.

Can you imagine the chaos? Sure it’d be a hilarious cameo, but they could take it one of two ways:

ONE:

Ben Stiller is his usual quirky type of character and that’s what Mobius’ timeline self likes about him cause he has a type and that type is dark-haired sassy men with distinct fashion choices.

or TWO:

Ben Stiller’s character is like nothing we’ve ever seen before: absolutely painstakingly NORMAL. Boring to a T. They met working together at the jet ski shop. Mobius is a salesman, Ben is in accounting. It was convenient to date and get married. Mobius would wax poetry about jet skis and his husband would let him because it was logical to learn about the other departments at the dealership.

It was simple…ultimately too simple because one day, an article in the newspaper detailed the events of the attack on New York. A picture of Loki was splashed across the front paper, complete with signature smirk.

But there was something else there. An emotion hid behind the god’s prideful eyes.

Loneliness.

It’s a particular type of sadness that comes with the knowledge that the people in your life are hearing your words, but no one is actually listening.

Mobius’ heart dropped, compassion filling in the space left behind.

And that’s the moment that an orange door appeared, a small, dark-skinned woman stepping out with a glowing baton.

Over time [that didn’t exist in the TVA], he’d learn all about nexus events and the sacred timeline and his glorious purpose.

He’d dedicate his eternal existence to others’ nexus events.

But he’d never remember his own.

Decided to rewatch some Loki season 1 and can we talk about when Loki and Sylvie are sitting together before going to enchant Alioth and she just casually mentions how good Mobius is and how he cares about Loki again? Like, what was that conversation?

I’ve been doing some thinking about Loki and his relationship with Sylvie. And as a disclaimer, I ship everything and nothing at the same time. Yes, I am aware that is a paradox. I ship Sylkie in a romantic sense and in a platonic sense. Same with Lokius. Although I like the idea of all three of them together in both a romantic and platonic sense.

But I think Loki wants her to be a part of his life and he wants the best for her because she's him. He sees so much of himself in her. The bitterness and the anger. The heart rending loneliness he felt everyday of his life. Yes, he had a family and "friends". ( I say "friends" because they were Thor's friends who tolerated him because he was Thor's brother. ) He had a home while she didn't. She didn't have Frigga to teach her magic. She doesn't want a throne so much as she wants a home.

As he moves away from that, he wants to help her. Wants to share his found family and home with her. But the obstacle is that that found family is the TVA. He's aware she's trying to build a life in the 1980s and I think some part of him is happy for her. But at the end of the day, he's selfish. ( Though I do like the idea of a sort of compromise. She gets her life in the '80s and he visits her. Claiming he's checking in on her and they catch up on her break. )

I saw a post earlier saying she was "emotionally stunted" and "childish". And you know what? She is. If only because she was taken from her life at an extremely young age, say around 7 or 8, by human standards. I's been long enough where she doesn't remember her life on Asgard. Has no memory of a mother? Since escaping from the TVA, she's hidden in apocalypse events, just trying to survive. That's not exactly the best place to learn social skills. ( Though she apparently has excellent customer service skills if her McDonald’s badge is anything to go by. Though coming from someone who works in customer service, you learn how to act the part very quickly. )

Loki wants the best for her because he wants the best for himself. ( I also think she reminds him a bit of Thor before Thor "went soft". ) She's a part of his "found family".

This has been an incoherent mess. But I think about these two characters a lot. Would I like to see them kiss again at some point? Sure. But only after a heck of a lot of development with both characters in that direction. But at this point, I’d be happy with them just existing together.

Am I the only one, who sees the power imbalance?

How can you have the gal to call yourself "friend", when the other's continued existence depends on your mercy and a whim of your masters?

Mobius isn't even acknowledging it! Sure, he believes The Cause, but was his self-awareness erased alongside his memories? Am I to believe he's actually a lovely person underneath that manipulative cunt and treat him as such? Because I'm not one to immediatelly forgive and forget, like Loki apparently is.

It's pretty sad, Loki offers genuine friendship to a person, who had locked him into a torture chamber moments earlier. Then looks devastated, when he believes Mobius to be dead.

For someone constantly called selfish, he gives without much of a thought.
