Blog Specific Tags

"Newt vent" is my general content warning. Will use it on posts which are both personal and upsetting, and where might be too upset to remember other important tags.

"Newt is happy" is tag am going to start using. Is for things which are personal and make me happy.

"Newt's natural dye notes" is me taking notes on plant based dyes. It is being built up very slowly, and is mostly for self to remember things.

"Note to self" is not specific for me. It is collection of things am not wanting to forget. These posts are usually reblogs of things which are important or useful to me.

Accessibility and Useability Tags:

"caps text", "bold text" and "italics" are used for posts with non-plain text. Will try to use "screen reader unsafe" for posts which a screen reader cannot process

"image described" is for images with plain text image descriptions in post. "image description in reblogs" is for image described by another tumblr user. "image description in alt text" and "undescribed image" probably explains itself.

Safety and Trigger Warning Tags:

Currently do not reblog gifs or videos. "eyestrain" will be used on any art which might trigger seizures, migraines or eye strain, but will not be many of these. Will not reblog or post flashing videos.

Try to use common trigger and content warning tags. Will keep tags simple and not censored. Will not add value judgements into warning tags and will keep format the same. For example, if someone asked me to warn them of tumblr related posts, the format would work like this:

"Tumblr" would always be used as a tag. "tumblr tw" or "tumblr cw" might be used. Tags like "hell-site tw" or "1umblr" would not be used.

Other:

Specific animal and plants will be tagged with common name, and sometimes scientific name as well.

Will tag some posts with emotion words like "happy" or "angry". This is just to help me practice using them, and can be ignored if you want.
