BLUSH BELOVED

Wallflower AU Blink is transmasc, and he and Mush started dating pre Blink coming out, before Blink realised.

When Blink came out to Mush, he was really worried Mush would want to break up with him but Mush was just kind of like. “Yo, I got a boyfriend now??” (this is a tiny bit of projection in a way)

Blink may have cried a little. /pos.

They started dating about a year from the current Wallflower AU, so when I fianlly get around to writing the fic, they’re an established relationship and Blink’s already out.

Mush’s love language is physical affection and acts of service. He loves to hold Blinks hand, play with his hair, hug him, and cuddle when they’re watching movies. And he likes to do little things for him, like cook, or look after him when he’s not feeling well/is down from things like dysphoria. He loves baking for Blink and Blink absolutely loves his baking.

Blink’s love language is quality time and gift giving. He likes to just spend time with Mush even if they’re doing their own things. When Mush comes over sometimes they’ll hang out in Blink’s room while Blink plays guitar. Or when Blink goes to Mush’s apartment, sometimes he’ll just sit at the breakfast bar with Elroy (Mush’s cat) and watch Mush cook or bake. Blink loves to get Mush silly little gifts if he ever sees something that reminds him of him.

Their first date, they went to the cinema together to see some stupid action movie and neither of them ended up paying full attention because they were too busy trying to steal each others snacks and sneakily hold hands.

Blink still has the tickets from that date in his phone case, and Mush has them in his wallet.

Mush absolutely loves Blinks laugh and smile because he rarely gets to hear and see them. Blink is pretty quiet and has a bit of a RBF but sometimes Mush will tell a dumb joke and Blink starts laughing, and Mush fully has to stop and stare at him because “holyshit hes so pretty??”

Blink loves Mush’s smile too, but he also loves Mush’s eyes. He thinks they’re really pretty and sometimes he just stares at his phone wallpaper of them both because Mush’s eyes look nice.

They have matching sun and moon jewelry. Mush is the sun, Blink is the moon.

They do the three squeezes of ‘I love you’ when holding hands. If people don’t know what that is,it’s when you squeeze someone’s hand three times to tell them you love them in situations where talking isn’t possible. (This is a common thing throughout the group)

Blinks lockscreen is a photo of Mush. In the photo, he’s walking away and half turned to the camera laughing. His Wallpaper is a selfie them from one of their dates.

Mush’s lockscreen is Blink playing guitar and his wallpaper is a selfie of him with Blink asleep next to him.

The Gorgon and His Lover

Blink followed the sound of soft cries, running his hand along the wall. He walked into his bedroom sitting down on the bed next to Mush who was curled up, soft sniffles coming from him. “What’s wrong, love?” He asked gently, resting his hand on Mush’s back. Mush wiped his tears, glancing at his lover. “It’s just this curse… I used to be so handsome before they changed me into this monster. Nobody can even look at me without turning to stone Blink. I’m hideous.” He sniffled, clutching a pillow close to his chest.

Blink reached up, running his hands along one of the snakes on Mush’s head before reaching to stroke his cheek. “You are not. You are the most handsome man I know.” He said with a soft smile. “No offense Lou, but you can’t see me. You wouldn’t know.” He replied with a huff.

Blink cupped both of his cheeks in his hands. “I don’t need to see you to know. I have every little detail of your face memorized. I love your snakes, the scars above your lips, the moles littering your shoulders. It makes you, you. And I can recognize you without my sight.” He murmured, leaning in to press a kiss to his forehead.

Mush’s eyes filled with tears for an entirely new reason. Blink could feel the wetness dripping down his cheeks and he pulled him in for a tight hug. “You’re perfect Nicky. Absolutely stunning. I used to curse the Gods for taking my eyesight, but then they gifted me you.” He murmured, pressing his lips against his lover’s. Nick smiled against his lips, holding his boyfriend close to him. Maybe Lou was right.

not my best work but i really wanted to redraw this screenshot, and i did actually draw this a month or so ago, but didn't like how it turned out and only thought to redraw it recently.

also as a heads up don't be surprised if I start posting other fandoms, i usually brainrotting hard then swapping fast and if it weren't for my blush brainworms i would've dropped newsies a while back. if you're one of those people that follow for one specific fandom: i am so sorry.

i recently started sketching and coloring traditionally bc sketching traditionally just feels more natural to me. then i take a photo and upload it to csp, and basically redraw it while fixing the mistakes (ex: their heads were kinda disproportionate, mush's eyes were kinda weird, etc).

tHE blush centered pirate fic that has yet to have a name PART 4

-So they all get back on the ship and everyone is treated to the best Buttons can do because as much as he's a doctor he can really only do so much on a ship

-Mush was sewed up and bandaged, he now sleeps for most of the trip back

-Katherine and Blink wait for him as does everyone but despite Buttons telling Kid Blink to go and lay down, Blink doesn't listen and really only leaves unless Katherine says something

-Buttons makes his rounds with the help of Romeo who is his little nurse (fight me, I dare you), most of them have cuts or bruises, and people like Sarah, Finch, and Snitch got deeper cuts so they had to get stitches

-Race, Spot, and the rest of the crew were treated for the rope burns and Spot was told not to speak for a few days, he shot a glare to Buttons and Race laughed harder than necessarily

-Katherine was getting doctored by Sarah seeing as Buttons had so much on his plate and she didn't have too much just a few cuts and some bruises on her wrists when she was dragged away from Mush

-there might also be a little kiss but ill never tell

-Jack comes in one day with some breakfast for Blink when he sees Mush is awake

-He smiles upon seeing Blink smile so brightly with his boy wrapped around him

-Jack calls for Buttons who immediately shoves Blink out the door so he could examine Mush, Blink does not like this but Jack stops him from doing anything stupid

-David then comes to them and points out that they are almost to Ivory and Blink has never been so glad to be home

-That's why he set sail in the first place, to get away from this island and try to live a new life, and he kinda did, besides almost getting killed he got to live a new life

-Buttons let Katherine and Blink see Mush after an hour and they all cry, then Blink introduces Mush and Katherine along with Spot and his gang properly to everyone

-Everyone smiles and they have a big dinner that night, Blink helping Mush to the dining area,they watch the sunset and kiss

-And by the next sunrise there at Ivory

-Once home Medda and the rest of the council rush out to see that there all alive and well

-While Blink is helping Mush down the ramp, Medda rushes over

-"KID BLINK YOU BETTER NOT SAIL AGAIN, FROM THE RUMORS IVE HEARD YOU ALMOST GOT BEHEA-"

-She quiets down seeing a shaking boy next to Blink "Oh Blink who is this?"..."My boyfriend Miss Medda"

-A few whistles can be heard as well as cheers for the two, both blush and Medda smiles and introduces herself

-They unload everything and Blink takes Mush to his room in the big house they all live in, Mush is amazed at his room and loves everything in it

-Blink lets Mush barrow his clothes and now Mush never wants to take them off

-A celebration is thrown and everyone is happy and dancing and Mush feels so alive its killing him

-When they go to Blink's room to finally sleep, Mush hugs Blink tight and whispers he's scared

-Blink tells him he'll protect him again if anything happens but Mush cuts him off with a kiss and tells Blink he will be the one to save Blink
