I thought it was about time that I did one of these... so hi! I'm Caitlin,

I'm 22 years old, my pronouns are she/they, I'm bisexual and I've been with my lovely boyfriend for 7 years!

I'm also a student, I'd been out of education for a while, but I made the decision to get back into education and started university last September!

I've always adored writing, and it was one of the first things I remember being passionate about, ever since we wrote our first story in primary school! (Mine was about a snail who was wandering the ocean on a mission to find his friends)

I love to write anything fantasy, and I've always liked writing poetry, and delving into writing horror for the first time!

Day 1 of Planning my fantasy novel 🌿🔮

I see a lot of posts out there about writing and editing books, but I don't see much about the planning process, so I thought I'd let you guys in and show you how long all of that is going to take and bring you along for the whole journey!

I'm writing a romantasy novel (slow burn, no smut) set in a small coastal village in Ireland, it focuses on some celtic mythology and, whilst being a cosy fantasy, also touches on trauma and the aftermath of an abusive relationship and how that can effect someone.

I'll try and let you in on as much of my realistic writing process as I can while keeping the plot of the book, as well as the title and characters a mystery for now
