I think a lot of discourse surrounding Young Adult fiction could be solved if publishers just invested in marketing and selling New Adult fiction. The life of a 17-year-old and the life 23-year-old are pretty different and that's okay.

More character portraits from the Truth Saga! This time it's the twins, Ivy (pictured right) and Violet (pictured left)! These two are an inseperable AuDHD pair of mischief makers who have a small but impactful role in everyone's life and I hope to give them their own story soon enough <3

Violet and Ivy

When someone describes two people "joined at the hip", they're talking about the twins. Vi and Vee are never far apart; a symbiosis beyond just their status as blood sisters.

Ivy is the ringleader; a noisy, distractable goofball, but don't mistake Violet's relative silence for docility. These two are truly double trouble and the much needed 'class clowns' of their supersoldier squad.

Push Me, Pull Me line edits are DONE!!! I’m never touching it again, it is in its final form and I am going to leave it alone from this point on.

if you want!! If you’ve read it already, there’s no need to do so again (unless of course you want to!!), because there were no major character or plot changes, just some tweaks and rephrasings here and there.

Justin and Brett are both haplessly wandering through life when they meet each other, and begin haplessly wandering it together. But then Justin falls in love with Brett, and Brett falls in love with Justin, but will they be able to break through their own self-imposed barriers and actually tell each other so? Or will they miss each other and go back to wandering alone?

Themes: coming out, self acceptance, finding your place in the world as a young adult. Contains an instance of graphic sex but is not erotica. In part two one of the characters has an eating disorder that is explored in very specific detail. If it’s in a category I’d say contemporary romance, but also NA if you consider that a genre! I know some people do and some don’t.

Finally confident enough in my artistic ability to draw proper character portraits for the Truth Saga, to replace the old artbreeder portraits I made before AI became A Problem

First up:

The Moores

Lydia and Elyan Moore, to be precise. These two play a prominent role in the Truth Saga and especially Reckless Truth as the audience surrogates, introducing us to the twisted world of the Controller through the eyes of those who were left behind.

This sibling duo are the catalyst for the entire series and will play an important role in the lives of the other characters throughout, so it only makes sense to draw them first <3

About Reckless Truth

When they were children, their brother was stolen and their mother killed. Elyan and Lydia Moore have dedicated their lives to finding out what really happened that night, and where their brother was taken – but the truth will throw them into chaos they could never predict.
