The IOF has ordered by loudspeaker for hundreds of displaced civilians to evacuate their shelter in part of Al-Shifa Hospital complex. If they refuse, the building will be bombed with them inside.

Communication has been lost with people inside Al-Shifa, including medical staff. In a livestream on Instagram earlier this evening, Islam Bassam Barbari stated that very little news is coming out about what the IOF is doing there, and people are extremely concerned.

another huge issue with the US's for-profit health insurance system that I don't hear complained about enough is that it creates a huge swell of demand with no increase in supply on a yearly basis.

insurance plans renew every January 1, so nearing the end of each year many people have reached their deductible (the dollar limit a person must spend of their own money each plan period before their insurance covers the majority of medical bills, though not 100%. typically insurance covers 80% of bills at this point) or even their max out of pocket (like the deductible but instead it's the maximum someone has to pay of their own money for that plan period, then insurance covers 100% of bills moving forward).

this means that toward the end of the year everyone who has reached this fucked up platinum membership status for health care rushes to book as many desperately needed appointments and procedures as they can while they still qualify for significantly reduced costs.

it becomes a NIGHTMARE to see a doctor at this time. even as early as october, depending what you need you may not find an open appointment with any doctors in your area until January. and by "in your area" I don't mean just your town, I mean a 50 mile (80km) radius from your location. sometimes more.

morons in the US who claim that single payer healthcare will mean that everyone has to wait in huge lines to aee doctors and won't be allowed to see their regular doctor if they want care always ignore that the above scenario plays out every single year.

#remembering when my cerebrospinal fluid fucked up in december that one yea #and the hospital guidelines were to have me follow up with a neurologist within two weeks #the hospital called my pcp and neither of them could find a neurologist available within two weeks within 50 miles lol #they werent even checking what was in network. that included everyone.#long post

Concerning reports coming out of north Gaza this morning

Resistance News Network claims on Telegram that the occupation supposedly allowed some women and children under the age of 14 to return to their homes in north Gaza via Rashid Street.

However, journalist Hossam Shabat says that the IOF has denounced this as completely false, advising people not to approach the area or try to return to the north, as it is still an active war zone. RNN provides photographic and video evidence, while Hossam directly cites the words of the occupation.

Journalist Anas Al-Sharif reports this on his Telegram channel as well, citing the same evidence.

Meanwhile journalist Saed Al-Zaneen reports on Telegram that some people are trying to return to their homes in the north of their own initiative. Some occupation squads *may* be allowing this in certain areas, but it is not sanctioned by IOF leadership and could change at any time. He warns that the troops may suddenly attack the people trying to return, and that the occupation is not to be trusted.

We will continue monitoring the situation, but advise our followers not to spread word of any return of displaced people to the north right now, at least until circumstances are much more clear

UPDATE AT TIME OF PUBLISHING: Hossam Shabat reports occupation vehicles are now advancing on Al-Rashid Street in Gaza City. Saed Al-Zaneen reports this as well. He now also reports one martyr and one wounded person have arrived at Al-Awda Hospital in north Gaza after they tried to return to the north via Al-Rashid Street. He reports they are being attacked from helicopters and provides documentation. Resistance News Network reports this as well. Journalist Momin Abu Owda also documents this Journalist Ismail Al-Ghoul is at Al-Nabulsi Roundabout on Al-Rashid Street and reports no sign of people being able to return.

The situation is obviously in flux. I need to go to bed, but I will review the situation when I wake up. Please follow the cited sources and use a translation software as needed.

YA BOY FINALLY GOT AN APPOINTMENT TO GET ON HRT

ONLY TOOK NINE FUCKING MONTHS AND THREE SEPARATE DOCTORS.

being 31 with no romantic prospects the only risky texts i'm sending anymore are like job related. SAD !

#sent this hiring manager that works for the same hospital network that my mom has worked at since before i was born #a text explaining why even though she's gone out of her way to help me get interviews for a position there i don't think i can like #willfully take on a position i know is going to be high stakes very stressful and fast paced when my panic disorder is like #kicking my fucking ass rn #it HADNT been for years when we started this endeavor like a month ago but circumstances have changed :-/#she sent me another job posting and was like 'hey can you submit this application today?' and i had to like #send her a novel abt it and probably disqualify myself from other positions within the company in the process. well. c'est la vie
