You decide to do it on his birthday , you called him up "nemiii , happy birthday may you stop by I have something for you." Finally a deep voice spoke " I'm on my way y/n. "

Sanemi soon arrived , walking in " i'm here "

You wore a nice skin tight dress that hugs all your curves in just the right way you know sanemi would like. " Y/n what the fuck is this " sanemi spoke almost sounding mad " just hush and come here . " You said walking into the room sanemi groans " ok ". You set the room really nice giving it the romantic vibe. Rose petals all over the bed and floor , candles lit , low lighting , nice snacks on the bed , and a movie for you guys to watch. As sanemi walks in a gasp slips from him " what the fuck." "Ugh come on sit down and enjoy a movie for once nemi ! ". " Ok " groaning as he walks towards the bed sitting down " what is all th-" you cut him off in the middle of the sentence " sit and enjoy please" " alright , alright ".

He sits and you guys enjoy the food and lighting and candles talking about random stuff goofing around laughing and enjoying each other's company you suddenly stop. "Sanemi , can we talk". He froze , you never used his full name always "nemi" he knew something was up " yeah wassup " " well , I've liked you for a while and maybe we could take things to the next level you know." He froze again one sanemi heard those words he quickly gathered his things and just up and left going after him you yelled " can you atleast try the cake I baked ? " The cake said " happy birthday sanemi I love you". He turned look and ran away , after that he ghosted you. 4 months later here he is sitting in his room realizing he was wrong and he can't keep hiding his feelings. The same night at the dinner table he noticed you and rengoku sitting closer then usual. Laughing, hugging, smiling. So close it made sanmeis blood boil , so after dinner sanemi went up to rengoku since everybody acted like it was so normal I mean he couldn't keep up he's been in room for months not coming out at all only at night through his window. Yelling " RENGOKU WHAT THE FUCK WHERE YOU DOING "

" What do you mean my friend!? "

" with y/n "

" ahh , oh it seems to be that nobody has told you ! "

Ok. On the Rocks is wonderful. My random comments so far:

1- I love the long in depth chapters. The level of detail you go to is spectacular and enjoyable

2- I am struggling to see how Kinn gets in the middle of Tay and Porsche right now. Which is great. Cause while I don't see the space for him, you will get us there!

3- I love bi Porsche who accepts what he wants (Tay)

4- Tays parents (know there was another thread on this) love them. LOVE THEM.

5- please keep up the clothing images. Those were perfection. I stared at those for ages.

6- oohh does Kinn get involved to go after Chai? (Don't answer that)

7- the 'dump him cause he makes you feel miserable' line. YES. This is a lesson I think we all get to learn right? Way better to be single than with the wrong person.

8- I'd like Tay and Kinn to explore Porsche's flexibility please. (Again, you don't need to answer...I'm good being spoiler free)

9- I *adore* the maths comments. Keep those coming.

in order:

1: thank you so much! i really like to get in my character's heads when i write, really explore their fears and insecurities and what makes them tick.

2: kinn will get involved in due time. he's in the next chapter, and then the one after that is kinn pov!

3: i think one of the things i like most about porsche is that he's really not all that bothered that kinn is a man. he's more bothered by literally everything else around it. with tay, that's way easier for him to handle.

4: tay's parents are so fun to write, hahaha. the behind-the-scenes story behind them is that i struggled for a long time to decide on how involved with the mafia i wanted tay to be -- because he's not completely uninvolved, but he doesn't give me "mafia young master" vibes. in the end, i decided what worked best for him was to have his mother be a former mafia princess who is now out of the business, after marrying tay's dad. and then the question from that became, what would this woman be like? i really didn't want to play into the idea that she'd been "saved" from her criminal family by her husband -- i wanted her to be this strong, independent woman who'd made the choice to marry him of her own accord. and then the next question is, what kind of man falls for her? what kind of man is she willing to marry? and i decided he had to be completely in love with her, and all her sharp edges -- and as such a little odd, too.

5: ah, glad you liked the clothing images! i ended up drawing them after sending an incredibly bemused nemi several different fashion stills off vogue

6: no comment :P

7: "dump him because he makes you miserable" -- yes!! i think this was kind of one of those oh moments for tay, because he had never thought about it like that before. it was a bulletproof argument, in many respects, because it made all of the justifications tay had for staying with time irrelevant. it didn't matter if time's the best tay can get, if tay's punching above his weight, if tay doesn't deserve better -- because none of that changes the fact that time makes tay miserable.

8: well, i mean, tay has volunteered to help porsche warm-up, so... :P

9: i'm glad someone appreciates my random spirals into how much things cost in thailand, hahaha. sometimes i wonder why i bother, lmao.
