i dont want to sound rude. but i kind of think that when you watch neighbours (or other soaps) the contract you, as the viewer, enter into is one where you accept that show has no natural end point - therefore almost no couple can be endgame. If you get so attached to a couple that you cannot continue watching the show without them, then that's not a fault of the show. they're just doing what soaps do, playing with couples and characters in their little soap opera dolls house. the fault is kind of on you for not being able to engage with a soap opera on soap opera terms. Perhaps it's better that you're not watching neighbours, at this point.
