Gender headcanon: once again, I think Neathians have a different view of gender, but in terms of human gender hes probs a little more masculine leaning

A ship I have: ok hear me out,,, Sid- HEAR ME OUTTTT. I think the way they’re connected in loss fuels this ship mainly also I’m thinking a sort of beauty and the beast type thing with Linus and Sid omgggggg you guys LET ME COOK ;-; I actually kind of like him with Fabia too, mainly bc Zelda has converted me to the badass Princess and her most trusted knight agenda.

BROTP: honestly… rubanoid. I think once again through their losses they’re able to become very close partners together. I also like the idea of Elright being like someone he looks up to/a mentor figure

NOTP: AJAJSJSSH I honestly can’t think of anything just bc there’s so much of nothing for this character I’m willing to listen to anything

Random hc: I love the idea of him being from a small town/modest life (again, like Link) but he ends up being hand picked for knighthood. I’m sure he had to be amazed by the Neathian capital

General opinion: I feel similar to him the way I feel ab fabia,,, held back by the writing. I always felt like he’s just like the typical good knight character who they don’t really delve more into as a person, other than the backstory/moments of him and Neo. Both him and Fabia are characters I’ve had to force myself to see more into bc upon first and second viewing I just really did not care much for them. I’d say I have a bit more appreciation for them now tho

Rafe:

Sexuality hc: pan, wants a hot goth partner to step on him

Gender: what we would consider gender nonconforming for sureee

In Gundalia, Neathia, Vestal do they believe in tarot cards and crystals?

Let me explain, as I am sure you know fortune telling for some people is considered to be a true form for reading events that will happen in the future and I would have liked to know what the various alien races encountered in our path with anime vision think about it.

I am someone who also has a neutral opinion about crystal therapy, that is, the ability that crystals can alleviate negative energies around us and some emotions that are destructive to ourselves.

I'll give you an example, it is said, for example, that amber fights nightmares or that amethyst chases away worries by acting as a talisman.

I would be very curious to know what they think about it.

I don't personally believe in crystal therapy (though placebos do work, so I don't mind it; belief makes things work sometimes.)

Vestals do not believe in these things beyond religious iconography. Usually this is in the form of putting cards together, shuffling, and seeing what order the cards are newly in to understand a "story" (it's not divination per say, but this is the same race who I headcanon to deal with time mechanics a great deal.)

Neathians have various uses for crystals, less so for tarot. It additionally helps that many neathian crystals have medicinal properties for them, if crushed up or dissolved. There are a few noxious crystals, though, and are usually used as iconography in paintings and posters on the subject of what neathians consider to be evil. During the war, images of gundalians were often surrounded by the noxious crystals.

Gundalians don't have any spiritual afflictions for crystals, or cards, but they do have some spirituality for a specific kind of rock - this stone is often used in their buildings, and has a habit of reacting like a creature when hurt. Using a little bit of electricity from their hands, they can communicate with the stone. Every gundalian has at least one on them, usually as a little, hidden companion.

It’s always such a delight watching characters coming alive - hopefully I can collect motivation and inspiration to do more and better animations in the future - but until then I just keep talking about them. :)

The first video is supposed to be Cassie’s very first training session - This is just a short sequence about Taeli helping Manda up, picking up her spear and saying some words.

The gif with Taeli and Sabator was just a test - the story is actually complicated at this point, and honestly, I still haven’t figured it out yet.

The rest are just frames from the video and something, that never progressed further than sketch.

/ On the sidenote: I love interpreting, that Neathian ears are able to move to some degree, and they use their V shaped foreheads as eyebrows for conveying emotions - even if not for real, but at least for the cartoony effect haha! /

Nova Dharak

Dharak’s twin sister. She and her brother vowed to protect the people of Gundalia as their own. She ruled alongside her brother and the emperors until Barodius and Dharak conspired to usurp the throne. They knew that Nova would oppose invading the neighboring allied planets so they sealed her away and worked to erase her from public memory. Nurzak kept her hidden away, believing at most she could awaken again, and at least an important part of Gundalian history could be kept safe. The Sacred Orb revives her in the events of Gundalian Invaders but she is still too weak to face her now much stronger brother. She goes with Nurzak and Mason to plead with Queen Serena to help her stop the war, for the sake of her own people and for the sake of the Neathians as well. After the war, her and Nurzak become the guardians of Gundalia and work to restore it and neighboring Neathia. She’s said to be the mother of all Gundalians and has a deep connection to every soul in the empire. Her blue accents come from her being the sheer, blinding light like the brightest stars in the galaxy to balance her brother’s overwhelming darkness.

How are the pets in Gundalia and Neathia, and while we're at it also from the Vestals dai, although they're not really my favorite. Another question, because it seems unfair to send you two requests, do they have cats? What are they like (Long live cats).

Gundalia's pets can vary between area. Some keep a box of carnivorous moss, others keep cave snakes, spiders, or bats. An olm even (like an axolotl, but way wiser looking). Some do have cats too! Their cats range from lion sized to housecat (though both kinds for gundalians are domestic.) Feral felines are rare on gundalia, and is even a complement for some soldiers to be called cattish.

Gundalian bakugan occasionally have pets of their own, usually mega fauna or a mushroom colony they have at where ever they distinctly consider to be home.

Neathians don't keep pets as often, but certainly do have plants, especially as children (easy responsibility lessons, n all). Pets can range from indistinct puff ball of a creature, to a swarm of audacious hummingbirds. Reptiles and fish are most common, notably, with honourable mention to beetles for being the cause of insurmountable collections. No cats to speak of on Neathia, unless bakugan are counted.

Vestals used to have a cat predator species on planet, that has since died out. Some vestals are, to pretty much everyone else, comically scared of cats. Braver vestals are ok with a housecat and absolutely no more than that. Tigers and Lions are terrifying. Regardless, they adore canines, and vestal dogs are typically huge. Robot and AI pets are commonplace.

ive recently come back to Fallen London and it hit me full force how much i still enjoy the character i've built on my account, so i felt she needed an update to reflect her growth

She came to london out of curiosity and a vague dissatisfaction with the monotony of her zee-life, now she's a midnighter that utilizes the advanced skills she's learnt to go and do whatever she damn pleases (but at what cost)

i love cats so so so much and that is probably why I gave the Neathians a cat

the castle knights adopted him in the short time that Fabia was on Earth. his name is just the word for cat in the Neathian language because the castle knights were very uncreative. (everyone calls him the Cat in English too because of that)

fun facts about the Cat:

he is an honourary castle knight

he is NOT pure of heart

he and Dan have a love-hate relationship (the "love" part comes gradually. very gradually.)

he has tried to eat Drago multiple times (he can feel Drago's perfect core energy and he hates it)

he likes to hover menacingly in any room the Brawlers are in (when they're not looking, he causes mayhem)

he REFUSES to let anyone clip his murder mittens. he needs those to murder anyone and anything that gets in his way, after all

he has the loudest purr you've ever heard, and when someone is sad or crying or injured, he will do that thing where he headbutts them until they pet him
