My beloved baby Pikachu I bring Pokémon ideas~

Eddie as ghost type gym leader whose gym looks like a metal concert and he has his sweetheart strapped to his back at all times

Steve as a water/fighting type gym leader whose gym is half a pool. Everyone is surprised to find this guy in a soft pastel sweater, tight jeans, and the fluffiest hair is the leader. Until he brings put his nail bat as the battle starts.

Everyone thinks they hate each other because they seem polar opposite but no one notices the skull ring on Steve's left hand nor the soft purple sweater Eddie sometimes wears.

They're married your honor!

The Party is a group of newbie trainers that get taken under their wings of course.

AHHHHH!!! PANDA I LOVE YOU, I already freaked out in dms with you but I’mma say it again: I LOVE YOUR BRAIN, you get ALLLLL the forehead kisses 🥹🥹🥹 I’m sooo gonna ramble away. Maybe not a full fic but my god I’m obsessed. (It’s a full fic, with a surprise pov!)

We’re going to mix up all the gens together (so if you only know some Pokémon, I’ll include pictures at the bottom of the ones I mentioned)

ALSO: if you have any ideas for anyone else’s Pokémon, let me knowwwww.

Onto my rambling fic under the cut 🥰

Here’s the thing, when Dustin decided to take on the gym challenge, he had no idea what he was going to expect.

He didn’t think picking a grass type to start could both hurt and help him between each gym. But Snivy was a little spitfire and like him; dramatic. She didn’t like any of the nicknames he threw out at her. She also didn’t like her pokeball, instead she preferred to sit on his head.

All of his friends were also doing the challenge but he was getting distracted by figuring out more information on each Pokémon instead of just battling. They’re all ahead of him, which, is okay it’s annoying but’s fine.

Especially when he ran into Steve.

Dustin was supposed to take on the fairy gym next but he heard the leader was ruthless. So, he decided to train up a bit. Maybe even evolve Natu and Trapinch. But instead of that, he was grumbling as he carried his very much knocked out, Trapinch to the Pokémon center instead of battling more.

Servine was walking next to him now, too big for staying on top of him when walking. She was also grumbling in her own way, crossed arms and nose in the air.

“We’re trying to get them to evolve, Servine, not knock them out!” He threw out at her getting closer to the center, “can’t believe I let you get your way all the time”

She apparently didn’t like that information and huffed before walking away, which would normally be fine if they weren’t in a new town. So, instead of reaching the Center like he wanted, he turns around to follow her. Returning Trapinch to his ball for now.

“Come ON, Servine I didn’t mean it like that! You’re so good at everything but-” he immediately knocked into somebody and knocked to the floor, “fuck, ow. Dude!”

Looking up he finds a guy, probably in his early twenties with a Mimikyu sitting on his shoulder while a tiny Pumpkaboo floats next to him. Which is a weird combo with the dude’s outfit choice of a soft looking yellow sweater and light wash jeans. “Not my fault you weren’t looking, dude”

Dustin glares up at him before getting up and dusting his legs off, “hey! I’m only looking for my Pokémon, she ran off from me!” Looking around he can’t tell which direction she actually went in, “by any chance you from around here?”

The guy makes a funny assumed face, both ghost pokémon snicker as well- which is so confusing. But he’s not too concerned for that, more so about the fact that his goddamn starter ran off.

“Yeah, you could say I’m from around here. What’s the Pokémon? A tiny Bidoof? Oh or is it a little Oddish?” He laughs and makes a weird hand movement that clearly both ghosts know and move away, “they got a name? That’d be way easier”

Crossing his arms he looks away, “Servine, and no. She didn’t like anything I came up with, so”

The guy’s laugh dies down and he frowns, “what, were the names lame or-” he shakes his head, “you’re upset, sorry, I’m Steve. Let’s find your Pokémon instead of bickering”

“I’m Dustin, and- SERVINE!” His eyes widen as the tiny Pumpkaboo (seriously how is that Pumpkaboo that small?) leads his Servine towards them, “I’m sorry, seriously, you’re the best and that was uncalled for. Are you okay?”

Servine nods and curls into his arms. He doesn’t bother saying anything else to her, cuddles her close and turns to find Steve picking up Mimikyu and whispering to Pumpkaboo, “Thanks. Seriously”

Steve smiles, “no problem, Oz here is pretty good at finding things.” He looks at his watch before wincing, “I gotta run, we’re gonna be late. You at the fairy gym?”

What the- “how do you know?”

Steve gives another funny look before shrugging, “Got an eye for these things, anyway, next gym is ghost. Be wary of him, he’s a little, hm, much. Yeah?”

All he can do is nod and watch as Steve just walks away.

Fairy gyms are brutal, even with Trapinch evolving into Vibrava. His saving grace was Slugma and that was it still rough since it’s fire isn’t that effective against fairy.

Maybe he should’ve gone with more poison types.

But that was two days ago, and now he’s making his way towards the next town and their gym. He is wary. Not only because of what Steve told him but because of running into Lucas.

(Lucas had decided on a water type, Totodile. Which was a little surprising for Lucas but Dustin didn’t question it, the little Totodile was energetic and lovable.)

He was minding his own business trying to figure out whether or not he could, technically, learn how to speak in the Pokémon’s language. When a blue bundle ran towards him, looking around he spots Lucas trying to catch his breath. “Hey! I thought you would’ve been passed this one”

They play catch up and once it’s all been said and done, Lucas shows him where the gym is. It looks fairly normal on the outside but Lucas swears it’s a whole other world inside.

“It’s like a concert, and there’s an actual audience too! Which was overwhelming at first, but once I got my footing it was like they weren’t there” Lucas explains, stopping only once their in front of a normal looking gym, Lucas laughs and shakes his head, “yeah that was my first expression too. I think you’ll enjoy it. Might have a hard time”

He looks away from the building to raise an eyebrow at him, “what does that mean?”

“Dude you picked a grass type as your starter! And you have no dark types!”

Rolling his eyes, “thanks for the encouragement, I’m sure I could handle it. Even with the disadvantages.”

Lucas looked like he didn’t believe him, but it didn’t bother him. Their whole party looked at him funny when he went with a grass type. Hell, Max made fun of him for it.

It didn’t matter, the gym challenge is turning out to be nothing he wanted to do once he’s able. He wanted to be a professor anyway. This was just temporary, even if he gets beat a bunch of times.

Walking inside the gym, he bypasses the annoying tips guy at right next to the door and makes his way to find the actual battle area. Lucas gave him the directions, it was confusing he said.

Sure enough, there’s a goddamn maze and cords everywhere.

After what feels like hours, he makes it to the end and is faced with a stage. Cords and what looks like vines everywhere, sure enough a small audience is there too. It looks all badass and a mix between rock and metal.

As he opens his mouth the lights go away and he has to immediately cover his ears as a loud beat starts. There’s a guitar being played even louder, clearer too. A spot light hits the stage and now he knows who’s playing.

Standing in the middle of the stage is a man. Long frizzy hair, leather jacket over a t-shirt with a band on it, ripped black jeans and black shoes. His guitar really completes the look, red with black lines all over.

The guy plays for a few minutes before stopping and walking closer, “Welcome to my metal concert, you ready for your ass to be handed to you?”

Right as he’s about to open his mouth a little orange and brown blur pops up behind the gym leader, it looks oddly familiar.

The man follows his gaze and groans, shifting his guitar to his back and focusing on the tiny Pokémon next to him, “Ozzy, we talked about this! Either stay in your ball, off the battle field or at home.”

Dustin blinks, moving closer he finds that the tiny Pokémon is a Pumpkaboo. That’s definitely moving and saying something back, which makes the guy shake his head before glancing around.

“Uh-“

“Hold on, I’m trying to find- HONEY LOVE! Come get your child!”

There’s no movement but he hears a snort, then the tiny Pokémon moves away and he sees the gym leader shake his head again, “sorry, that little guy is only a baby. Let’s get this show on the road, shall we?”

The guy’s smile is wild and maybe Lucas was right.

An hour later and Dustin is sitting on the edge of the stage freshly beat and definitely ready to call it quits for the day.

“Did Eds give you a rough time?”

His head snaps up, there’s Steve with Mimikyu on his head and a Vaporeon sitting next to him.

“I just need to do some more training.” He doesn’t want to admit that yes, the gym leader, Eddie, definitely gave him a rough time. It was fun, but Eddie was even more brutal than the fairy gym.

Maybe he just needs to catch a dark type.

Steve nods slightly, making Mimikyu squeak. “Doesn’t hurt to train more, V here” he pats the Vaporeon’s head, causing a pur to happen, “wasn’t the greatest battler, we had to do lots of training. Before you do any of that, want to come have dinner with us? You and your Pokémon can all rest for the night”

Dustin can’t figure out how he didn’t put two and two together. He feels like an idiot right now.

“What do you mean you’re also a gym leader? The final one at that?! Why didn’t you tell me?!”

Steve snorts, putting his hands in his pockets as he leads them to a house, “not my fault you didn’t pay attention when the professor talked about the gym challenge to you.”

Crossing his arms he glares at the ground, “yeah well, Professor Owens forgets shit. How is it you’re the water gym leader yet have a ghost type with you?”

There’s an amused smirk on Steve’s face and what sounds like a giggle come from Mimikyu, “I might specialize with water types, I do have a fond experience with ghost types. And dude, it’s okay to try catching other types. I just so happen to work better with water types. Queen here was a gift, basically, my partner found an egg and gave it to me.”

He nods because Steve’s right, it is nice to use all different types. Though if he did only pick one, grass or bug type is where he’d stick with.

“Alright” Steve smiles and comes to a stop, “we’re here, once we get inside you can let your Pokémon out.” He leads them up to a door and Dustin takes in the mixture of aesthetics.

There’s clearly two different personalities living in this house, whoever Steve’s partner is, definitely enjoys the darker aesthetic compared to Steve. Who gives off a more pastel aesthetic. Not that he fully knows, he’s still going off or how Steve is dressed.

“Hey baby, I brought a guest!”

They both hear a crash and then a curse. A Gengar floats out of the kitchen and snickers as it stops in front of Steve, “What did you do?”

“He’s over the moon for beating up a Nin- woah! Honey love, you brought the kid I just beat?”

Blinking hard because there’s no way, Dustin also rubs his eyes before looking over at the kitchen doorway. His vision clears and yep, there’s the gym leader, Eddie, standing there in a pastel purple sweater and black sweats with his Decidueye leaning behind him.

“You’ve got to be kidding me, seriously?”

Steve outright laughs and pats his shoulder, “dude, you’re face. Oh man, should’ve taken a picture.” He moves closer to Eddie and presses a kiss to his cheek, “He looked so sad after the defeat, I had to.”

Eddie shakes his head, amusement clear on his face, “Honey, you gotta warn people when you bring them over. Even if they look like a kicked Eevee”

He scruffs and looks away from the couple to find the Pumpkaboo, Ozzy apparently, next to him. It makes him groan, “I’m an idiot, you’re the one who found Servine!”

Ozzy nods excitedly before floating down and nudges his bag, confused he opens it and Ozzy dances around him. He’s curious and looks over at the couple, “uh, what?”

“He’s asking you to let your Pokémon out, they’ll enjoy some play time and food.” Eddie answers and looks at the time, “which is done by the way. Come on, let them out and we’ll give you some tips”

Shrugging, he does just that, all his Pokémon looking around curiously before spotting the backdoor where Ozzy and Steve are now in front of. All of them rush over and Steve laughs before opening the door, letting all of his Pokémon outside.

“Don’t worry, we got a fence and there’s food already out there.”

He can only nod and watch as his Pokémon all play together with Steve’s and Eddie’s Pokémon.

Dustin doesn’t know how he ended up here, honestly, he’s sitting inside a home that belongs to two gym leaders. Who are not only two of the strongest ones but also married to each other. Of all the things he was learning, this might’ve been the most surprising.

I’m gonna end it there because if I keep going this post will be stupid long (it already is 😅) BUT!! I decided to make this into a series!! It’ll be a fun one that I could write and post whenever I want. Can switch up povs and everything this way. Please don’t ask me why I went with Dustin’s pov this time around, I don’t even know. I just..kept going.

Oh what's this? This app wasn't here before! Might as well introduce myself now that I'm here. I'm Ozzie, and I believe I've been transformed into a Rockruff somehow. I don't remember now but I've found myself inside the PC system, and I don't remember all that much honestly. I'm trying to make it to Box 100 which is quite the long way because me and my companions can only travel one at a time.

Heyoooo!!! It's me!!! The person behind blogs like @hoppingwooloo and @aether-foundation-pr !! I'll be following from my main @bowsers-keep .

Both the blog icon and header were made by the lovely DM of the campaign <3

As for what this blog is, well I wanted to try my hand at an Eebydeeby before remembering I already had an Eebydeeby character as apart a TTRPG Pokemon Campaign called PMD 199 where our characters have been violently flinged into the Pokemon PC system of this girl named Aureolin. I'll be having fun with this commentating on the campaign with this blog. Despite that this blog will be more casual since I'm not legally allowed to have his plot progress outside of the game. He'll still interact plenty, just no way to progress anything.

For extra info about Ozzie and the campaign, there's what I like calling Glitch Traits, all player characters have one, Ozzie's is Fused with basically means his glasses are stuck to his face.

Whenever I'm rambling about the campaign itself I'll tag those post with "campaign commentary" for the purposes of me trying to organize regular interactions and campaign related shit

//Pokemon AU Rambling Post

//Wow, this post is long.

Obviously, almost every kid wants to be a trainer. It's cool, like being a pro athlete. I think that also applies to most of these kids, too.

Derek, Chelsea, arguably Ron, and Jack would be the only ones to have actual "battle-ready" Pokemon given their age group, even if they wouldn't be anywhere above Lv15 at the very best.

That said, the only one of them I could imagine with a "proper" starter Pokemon is Derek, and that would be Rowlett. Back when TPC were teasing Gen7, I remember seeing Dartrix and immediately thinking of him, to the point I named my own Rowlett in Ultra Moon after him.

Chelsea would have a Ponyta - from Kanto, because Galar is too new-school. Lowkey Lass energy, probably might also have a Fairy-type that may or may not have been retyped yet, or some kind of Pika-clone. Something just to be cute on top of the more composed and competitive horsey.

Ron and Jack are surprisingly difficult to vibe check Pokemon-wise, but they also overlap a bit... Their Pokemon would be less flashy and impressive. I think Ron would have a baby Pokemon that he's super proud of, even if he is on the less brawny side as his friends at the present. Maybe a Pichu or Togepi. His dad worked very hard to get it for him. I am also inexplicably drawn to Wooloo but that may be my sheep bias talking so I will not say anything for certain.

Jack would probably get something extra from his older brother, Jeff, but nothing impressive. I'm drawn to a lot of Unova Pokemon for him, too... To give it some lore, let's say he picked an elemental monkey, and Jeff went, "You know what, I know how to make your team better," and got him something to cover a weakness. Maybe Blitzle if he picked Pansear, or Drillbur if he picked Panpour/Pansage.

He also feels like he'd have a Ralts. Somehow. But also, I feel that's a bit much/brawny for him.

Jeff is probably old enough to have probably caught a cute little Stufful and raised it long enough for it to evolve into Bewear, and it freaks Jack out sometimes with how destructive it can be.

Luke has Youngster energy. He scrounged together enough money to buy a ball and catch his own Patrat or Lillipup or a bug or something. He probably got a little injured in the process but he's fine, that's just how kids are. He also probably has a family dog Pokemon of some sort at home already.

Will would be the kind of kid though to have befriended something wild at a young age, and also have that thing have stupidly high potential. That said, he also has Espurr energy.

Maybe he'd also "share" something with Derek. Something his older brother caught him and is helping him raise until he's old enough. A bird or bug, perhaps. Natu?

Assigning every kid a Pokemon based on their animatronic would be too easy. :P Besides, there aren't any chicken Pokemon besides Torchic...

Though if I had to assign each kid a proper starter in some kind of "Nobody Dies AU", let's sayyy: Derek = Rowlett, Chelsea = Tepig, Ron = Chikorita, Luke = Charmander, Will = Squirtle, Jack = Piplup.

You also get long rambling about the PGs also because they are my favorite employees. As for my night guards, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sorry.

Porfirio is the kind of guy who doesn't stop until he gets what he wants, so the second he learned what shinies are, he would've thrown away hours of his life to get his hands on the perfect one, even as someone too young to have a Pokemon. So he has a Shiny Gourgeist he calls Dyniusia ("Little Pumpkin") almost as old as he is, and it's Super size for good measure. A tall purple Pokemon that kills people and loves to sing - just like its trainer! It's his prized possession and it totally gets him, so that's why it's the only living thing he treats with any genuine sort of affection and comradery. (I don't wanna make anyone mean to Pokemon, that's going too far.) Maybe he would've been a decent competitive trainer if he wasn't such an awful person...

Alexander, on the other hand, is the kind of guy who doesn't have the constitution to be a sporty trainer, but plenty of non-trainers have domestic Pokemon, and he would be no different! He'd have a Chatot. It always comes back to Chatot. He gets talkative when he's anxious, so having a chatty friend to bounce off of feels appropriate! Plus, my perception of Chatot being an organized managerial type has been heavily influenced by PMD... Unfortunately, it works as an emotional support Pokemon as frequently as it doesn't. He might complain to it about a certain person... and then it'll say those things right back to their face. It makes him die a little inside every time, but what can you do?

There would be a lot of Shuppet hanging around the pizzeria (since they're attracted to "vengeful emotions", such as those a group of murdered spirits would have), which… doesn't help its reputation.

Something something Lavender Town.

Something something Phantump.

I think someone should set a Drampa loose in Porfirio's house. I think only good things could come from that.

More ramblings about regional forms in my legends orre au:

Tangela/Tangrowth has a regional form too! It resembles tumbleweed. And much like real tumbleweed those critters can be found EVERYWHERE. I haven’t decided what to do about the typing—keep it pure grass? Maybe grass/ground? Or even grass/fire, since tumbleweed is notorious for catching fire. Fire definitely has to play a part, in any case—possibly it has a signature move that’s fire type, or has a special ability where it changes forms when hit with a fire type move (and adding onto that, if it has a signature move then that changes type to fire too? Maybe?), or it’s like basculegion where it has to get hit by fire type moves or burned a certain number of times to unlock a special evolution??? Idk I have a lot of feelings about this.

Mudbray and Mudsale are already perfect in every way so they don’t have to change I love them

I mentioned in my previous posts about a fairy/fire litwick line but I’m really struggling to imagine a concept that isn’t just “Chandelure but pink”. That’s lame. If anyone has any ideas please help me out here.

There’s gotta be some pokemon with a deal like oranguru/passimian where their signature moves help their partner pokemon in double battles. Like I’ve said before orre is all about double battles so this would be perfect.

I think it would be interesting if one of the cactus pokemon, perhaps maractus, had a regional variant that was grass/water like how cacti have lots of water in their interiors.

Since there’s a lusher area of orre, at least in XD, I’d like to believe there used to be one in the past too that might have been lost due to environmental damage. And in that lush area you could find carnivine, with a dual typing of grass/bug so it can better attract other bug type pokemon to eat.

I’m conflicted on whether I should keep the Skorupi line as ground/poison or bug/ground. On one hand ground/poison is only unique to nidoking/nidoqueen, on the other hand there are only two other bug/ground pokemon, and it IS a literal bug…regardless, it would have a kickass sprite where it glowed in the dark or under certain conditions much like how real scorpions glow under blacklight.

Natu and Xatu make appearances in the region, idk what else to say.

Anyway that’s all my ramblings for now, sorry to clog up your dash but I need attention right this instant

Introduction: Collin’s Team

I’m told because Collin has a larger team, we’ll all share a post? Hopefully we don’t ramble too much! Hi, I’m Racer! I’m Collin’s ponyta, his first pokemon, and we’ve been together for five years, and I was born seven years ago. We bonded while Collin worked with my parents in the rapidash chorale, and I just found him interesting and approachable. I’m not much of a fighter, and neither is he, so we make a good team, I think. Similar personalities.

I may not be big on fighting, but I do want to evolve, just because it’ll only benefit me, Collin says I’m close based on the small, almost indiscernible bump on my head where my rapidash horn will grow it. I’m not in any rush though; I’ll get there when I get there, and I know Collin will be right there with me when I do.

Hi, I’m Gary, Collin’s flaaffy! He caught me as a mareep, which I guess helped inspire my name? I’ve been with him for four years now.

Collin isn’t my first trainer. I had a trainer before him, but only for a week. He caught me, trained me, sent me to battle in Falkner’s gym, and then released me when I had finished with the fight. I had been kind of lost and scared after that, and I had gotten stronger for sure, but being in the wild after working with that... ‘trainer’ was rougher, somehow. It felt like I didn’t belong anymore. But Collin caught me a couple months later, and I’ve been with him ever since. Honestly, I feel blessed just to have Ferran Ranch to relax on, and to have a stable, safe home to live in.

I’m trying to get stronger, steadily, but truth be told, I’m not a big fighter myself. I just... Feel the need to improve constantly, so I’m never too weak to keep. Collin’s told me time and time again I’m here to stay as long as I’m still comfortable with him, but I don’t know. Part of me will always be that worried little mareep, even though I know Collin doesn’t even like battling that much.

Heh, Aristotle has always been pretty lame. My name is Shady, the cooler bird on Collin’s team, caught at pretty much the same time as Aristotle, just a bit later, and also the only girl. Lame, right? Could be lamer; least I know I’m the prettiest girl of the bunch.

Collin caught me ‘cause I was bothering him for nights on end, kyehehe. He had a bunch of shiny shit, and I wanted that to be my shiny shit, ya know? His stupid sheep paralyzed me and he caught me, and I decided ‘hey, may as well’. It has made it much easier to steal from him, being his pokemon and all. Unfortunately, somehow it also made me like the guy, so now if I take something and he gives me ‘the look’, I gotta give it back. But I still get away with enough, kyehehehe.

I’m basically in this for a good time. If I get bored, I might leave, but with all the action around here, all the pokemon and new trainers popping by I can harass? I figure I’ll be around.

I’m the coolest of Collin’s pokemon, never forget that.

Good ‘morrow, fairest traveler! I am the one known as Sir Bean (Shady: It’s. Just Bean.), I am of the quagsire variety, and I am the final member of Lord Collin’s team! I am adept at the ways of water and mud, and I rule the pond of the ranch! The ranch pokemon all must answer my riddles, or be plagued by the angry water spirits I control!

Lord Collin hath had me in his court since the wee beginning of two years prior, and I have served his lordship ever since! He hath raised me from a lowly wooper, de-armed by the forces that be, and given me new power as a quagsire! I shall always be in his service, repaying him for his loyalty to his subjects, and assisting him in his control of his kingdom to be!

If you shall ever need me or my knowledge of many, many things, simply visit the pond in the middle of the ranch territory, and your queries shall be answered, if you can answer my riddles three!

((OOC: Oof, I had to type this up 1 and 1/2 times cause I accidentally killed it the first time, lol. Anyway, Collin isn’t a main character so I’ll discuss him less unless asked specifically about him and his pokemon. In which case, I would absolutely love to talk endlessly about his idiots, lmao.))

instead of doing anything productive I instead made up pokemon teams for a bunch of my ocs. rambling below for anyone interested P:

bcus Sun and Moon was one of the more recent I’ve played I decided to go with that theme-ish mostly just amusing myself here lbr I was gonna doodle them all but I am...lazy and not sure where I put my tablet SO.

Reese just moved to Alola and is mad abt it but whatever he’s still going to have his pkmn journey damnit. His mom gives him 900 tubes of sunscreen as his travel package.

He gets Bubbles the poppilo as his starter, Comfort the gyarados is a gift from his mother who has had her since she was a magikarp. The rest he finds along the way, Calanthe the flabebe, Snuggles the vulpix, Verdant the dhelmise and Spooks the Mimikyu. (you can tell which he named himself and which he got suggestions for I’m SURE. Tho I mean his mom named a magikarp Comfort so like. Maybe it runs in the family.)

Penniah has lived in Alola all his life and its super excited to lead the new kid around. Pen is a bit older and thus a little more experienced. (a whole half a year, like lbr here they’re 10 that's YEARS to them)

He chooses Lychee the rowlet as his starter, Magnolia the furfrow is a gift from his dad and Keahi the marowak is a gift from his mom. The others he catches along the way, Kale the shiny buneary who hates him with all the anger contained in his tiny bunny form and is a constant disaster in battle. Apikalia the hawlucha and Peni the pancham are his newest additions.

Niko has recently moved back to alola after having been away idk where don’t ask me. Currently kind of floating around not sure what he’s going to do with himself he kinda tags along on the kids journey but like to the side so they don’t 100% realize he’s keeping tabs on them. He has a perfectly crafted reason to be wherever they find him each time, its infuriating. Young adultish age and like still an anxious ptsd mess tho honestly idk how that would come abt in a pkmn setting.

Lizhu the shiny manectric is a Good Girl™, she’s a trained ptsd doggo and is extremely protective of her mess of a trainer. She’s never in her pokeball and at this point Niko probably doesn’t even know where he put it. She probably hid it. (its buried in Tek’s yard somewhere.) Uilani the raichu is a trouble maker but doesn’t mean any harm. She’s Niko’s first choice in battle even though she’s as likely to play tricks as listen. Orb the natu was a gift he got while away and he won’t really talk about where he got him but the natu is v attached to him & Ridi and prefers to be carried at all times. Aloalo the oricorio is the first pokemon he caught upon his return to Alola they’re still figuring each other out. Konani the skarmory and Ekewaka the golem are Niko’s oldest pokemon caught when he did his own journey around the islands.

Ridi (Niko’s daughter, adopted) despite not quite being old enough to start her journey she doesn’t let that stop her and bullies her way into tagging along with Reese and Pen, which is like 90% of the reason Niko is following them too but he wouldn’t admit to that. Niko is kinda vague when asked about the details of adopting her but also obviously adores her so most people just let the subject drop. Ridi wants to be the best EVERYTHING which like, shes 8 so ofc she does but Niko is also a giant softy so he is 100% encouraging of her determination.

Orb the natu is Niko’s gift to Ridi when she convinces him that she’s going to tag along with Pen and Reese. Tbh she probably catches the rest despite her age bcus that’s who she is ngl. Sylveon was probably a gift as an eevee.

Tektite (Pen’s dad) idk what he’d been in this AU tbh. Like, law enforcement of some kind? Probably caught up in trying to deal with team Skull? Private investigator? Idk. whatever.

admittedly loosing my attention here with naming everyone’s pokemon WHOOPS. Espeon is def a gift from his wife and he is a spoiled little SHIT. Porygon is his fave bud tho ofc he wouldn’t admit to having a fave. Magnemite WILL paralyze you don’t tempt him. Absol and Houndoom are a power couple and better than u in every way.

Dailesa (Pen’s mom) probably like a rescue/breeder type person? Rescuing abandoned pokemon or something? Likes the less ‘cute’ pokemon, hasn’t competitively battled in years but would most likely fuck u up.

tbh I assembled her team mostly under the ‘doesn’t really appeal to me so it’ll appeal to her aesthetic’. Shiinotic is her first choice in battle bcus I said so. Rockruff is her most recent rescue not usually her style since hes cute but hey.

Suha, ok I’m just being self indulgent at this point I have no idea how Suha and company would fit in this AU maybe something to do with the Aether foundation I really don’t know ok. There’s a cult somehow somewhere for these nerds ok? Good.

I found my tablet and did actually doodle these guys aside from Sylveon bcus he’s hard to draw. (ignore that Suha’s lap is like huge, ok. idk abt their names. Suha is probably more creative than 10yr old Reese but like who knows. I am obv not creative so.)

Ellison, 100% self indulgence now. I really have no story for these.

Whatever life they lead in this AU I’m sure Ellison is still under his father’s thumb and doing his dirty work for him. While still probably being hopelessly in love with Suha. I’m sure its fine.

Elias, (Ellison’s dad) def still terrible, self serving and narcissistic I’m sure.

probably still starts a cult of somekind lbr. idk how or to what end for this setting but like. Does it really matter.
