Okay, obviously I know I don’t have the greatest skin right now. DON’T judge me, considering I’m a women with hormones that involve periods that messes with my body and gives me pain that I sometimes can’t bare #periods
HOWEVER! We are not talking about my skin currently but my hair.
So, let’s give a little background: I’ve done the big chop in 2016 of September 2. Day before my birthday lol. So you could imagine the tears but it was something that had to be done. For the reason for it was because my hair was premed back than and it was damaged and I was moving toward going natural since I’d be turning 18 and I didn’t want to waste the money to get prem anymore. It wasn’t worth it.
Since that big chop, my hair had flourished and was going strong. But I started the dye! Bleaching will FUCK UP you’re life! If you don’t do it right lol. The first few tries is where I should have stopped but ofc I didn’t. Fast forwarding, I’m back on the hair journey after cutting of some length once again. But what’s important to me is the health not the length. But in the past I would have cried but I know when I need to it. And that was last night. So we are on the journey AGAIN to gain healthy hair once more and here is what I’ll be implementing…
1. Hot Oil & Rice Water Treatments
2. Deep Conditioning Bi-Weekly
3. Clarifying Washing Monthly
4. Co-washing Weekly
5. Scalp Massages
6. Finger Detangling Mainly
7. Oil Hydration
8. Focusing & Listening to my hair
9. Leaving my hair be and let it’s so it’s thing
10. Moisture! Hydration! Oil!
11. Protective Styles
Hair Products?
1. Eden Bodywork’s (Mainly)
2. Eco Style Gel
3. Shea Moisture (Strength and Restore Collection)
4. Next To You (NOU: it’s a new line I’ve been trying an it isn’t bad.)
4. Hair Growth Oil (MY FAVORITE)
5. Aussie Moist 3 minutes Deep Condition (So much slip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND)
Most of my advice and journey is for 4b-4c hair types with low porosity. Don’t know what that is?
4b-4c types are usually hairs that have a very tight and coiling hair curl pattern.
Low Porosity are usually hair that takes longer to get wet but flourishes with moisture.
I use a lot of weightless products that doesn’t weigh my hair down but still is high in hydration & moisture. And lock it in with oil.

All objects, big or small, cast shadows and so do mountains.
However, one particular peak displays a peculiar behavior – it casts shadows not only on the ground, but also up in the clouds.
This photo of Mt Rainier was captured by Lisa Bishop.
