⁣ Samsung Galaxy Note 10+⁣ Taken on 27/09/2020.⁣ ⁣ Camogli is a small fishing village tucked away to the west of Portofino promontory between Santa Margherita Ligure and Recco and is such a pleasant surprise to discover on the Ligurian Riviera.⁣ ⁣ Its name is often quoted as having a double meaning. One translates as 'houses close together', perfectly describing the many rows of tall, closely tucked together colourful tower houses. The other meaning is 'houses of wives', referring to the fishermen’s wives who traditionally spent their time at home while their husbands were out at sea.⁣ ⁣ In my opinion, Camogli is one of the best towns to experience the beauty of the typical Ligurian tower houses; walking around town will made me feel like an ant navigating around an enchanting labyrinth while my eyes feasted on a warm range of orange and yellow hues.⁣ ⁣ Imagine sitting here inches away from the beach and facing the glorious sunset and with an amazing view of the town's architectural beauty. At 2,612 metres elevation it’s one of the highest roads in Europe and yet it’s still virtually unknown!⁣ Given its high altitude, it's no wonder this mountain road is off bounds for commercial tourism until the summer months, July and August. ⁣ 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲:⁣ ⁣ 🚆 First take the train from Turin to Rivarolo Canavese.⁣ ⁣ 🚌 There you can get a bus, run by GTT, to Lago Serrù.
