“You said you were okay,” Natasha’s eyes are accusing as Steve breathes heavily.

“Yeah well, I’m doing what you do,” he half smiles back.

Natasha’s look is harsh, as she frowns and almost growls as she holds the towel to his abdomen.

“Ow, hey.”

“No. You do not get to do that, you do not get to get hurt, and not say anything,” she admonishes.

“Clint tell you that?” he asks, trying to make the moment lighter. “It sounds like his words, more than yours.”

She seems to acknowledge his attempt, and ducks her head.

“Maybe.”

There’s a moment of silence before Tony drops down and looks at the gash.

“The shield hit me wrong,” Steve tells him, biting his lip.

Tony nods and picks him up bridal style.

“Off to medical we go, you got clean up?”

Natasha nods, and picks up the offending Shield.
