The Chronicles of Narnia: Social Medias
I've recently been writing an AU of The Chronicles of Narnia with @thedivinemischievousspark, based on the idea that the Pevensies live in the modern world rather than during the war! The AU is basically Prince Caspian being sent to their world years after the events of the second movie (ignoring the third one because it doesn't work as well with the plot) when all the Pevensies are adults and have given up on the idea of ever returning to Narnia again. It's Peter x Caspian (and also Susan x Caspian at the beginning), but right now none of it has been posted, not sure whether it'll be posted yet (if it is it'll be on AO3) but I wanted to share their social medias! Here they are below:
Susan
Tumblr media
♡ Job: Beauty Specalist ♡
♡ Lives: Alone in a London flat ♡
♡ Doesn't love doing social media, only has it out of social pressure, posts mainly shots of her clothes but occasionally something related to what she's doing. She shares all her Instagram posts to Facebook. Is single, having never properly gotten over Caspian, and doesn’t have many friends. She wishes to move on from her past in Narnia ♡
Lucy
Tumblr media
♤ Job: Studying Folklore at uni ♤
♤ Lives: With her brothers in a terraced house ♤
♤ Only recently bothered getting Instagram but she enjoys it, although she also uses TikTok an awful lot ajd has Snapchat. She always makes appreciation posts about her siblings, likes posting little quotes, and styling pretty pictures to make her life seem magical, like it was in Narnia ♤
Peter
Tumblr media
◇ Job: Works multiple barmen jobs ◇
◇ Lives: In a terraced house with siblings ◇
◇ Loves Instagram, finds it a fun way to commemorate his life. Posts videos/pictures of his family all the time, baking and working out, does photography to post. He glamourises his life using social media, but in reality is struggling trying to support Lucy and Edmund, and misses being king. He’s been fired a few times for being impatient with demanding customers. Has lots of friends but doesn’t get too much time to see them ◇
Edmund
Tumblr media
♧ Job: Studying International Relations at Uni, is a student ambassador to help make money ♧
♧ Lives: In a terraced house with siblings ♧

💙 My Modern Caspeter Headcanons 💙
Hey, Narnians! How are you? Here goes my first contribution to the fandom (and of course it would be about Caspeter because they are my new current obsession ❤️).
I want to make clear the headcanons are mostly based on the movie version of the characters (tbh I really need to reread the books).
Anyway, enjoy it.
P.S.: Forgive me for any grammar mistake, english's not my first language.
Warning(s): Slight mention of abuse (it happens outside of the relationship), implied NSFW stuff
Tumblr media
Peter met Caspian for the first time when they were both 15. At the time, Caspian had just moved to the Pevensies' neightborhood with his uncle, his aunt and his baby cousin. Peter's mother convinced him and his siblings to pay a visit to the house across the street and welcome the new family. He didn't get very excited with the idea.
Something about Caspian made Peter strangely uncomfortable. Maybe it was the boyish way Caspian put his hands on the pockets of his ragged jeans, or his spanish accent, or how his long, wild black hair fell beautifully around his face and large shoulders. Or maybe it was the way Caspian's brown eyes found his blue ones and stared at them intensely from time to time, but suddenly looked away. Wait! Why is he paying so much attention to these details anyway?!
The fact his mother just got all excited with him and Caspian being about the same age, attending the same school and becoming best friends and all that bullshit just made Peter even more annoyed at this new pretty boy, who seemed destinated to be a very constant presence in his life from that moment on.
Peter would find in Caspian an adversary just as skilled (and just as competitive) as him in the P.E. classes, regardless of the sport. But it was in fencing that the situation really heated up between them. The trainer would even try to avoid putting Peter and Caspian to fight against each other because he saw that, whatever was going on between these two, they took it very VERY seriously.
Peter complained about Caspian a lot at home and everytime Edmund was around, the younger one would shout a joke about their "so obvious unresolved sexual tension" just to see his older brother's cheeks grow hot in anger and embarrassment (Ed: For the fuck's sake, just admit you dream about kissing Caspian under the moonlight and spare our ears from all this shit talk of yours! / Peter: I'd rather kiss a horse's ass!).
One day, in the school's yard, Peter got involved in a fight after trying to defend a younger boy from a group of bullies. He handled himself well for a while but It didn't last long. He was already getting his ass kicked until the last person he could ever imagine came to defend him: Caspian. Sadly, this whole thing took both the boys to the principal's office and one whole evening of detention.
After one hour of detention trying to distract himself, Peter's eyes found Caspian with his face in a black notebook and a pencil in his hand. Curious, he walked to Caspian's direction to find an unfinished, but no less beautiful, sketch. When Caspian took conscience of the blond's presence, he tried to close his book as fast as he could, but Peter stopped him right away and complimented his work, asking him if he had more of those.
After that, they got to talk about a lot of stuff and know each other better. Caspian found out Peter wasn't so annoying as he initially thought: he was actually a very nice and funny guy who cared deeply about his family. Peter found out Caspian was not as insufferable as he imagined: he was actually very sweet and, as he already noticed, really talented.
Both also learned a little about their difficult relationship with their families. Peter told about how he and Susan were given a lot more of responsibilities after their parents' divorce and how shaky his relationship with Edmund became at the time. Caspian told about his latin origins, his parents' deaths when he was only 6 and the stressing relationship with his uncle Miraz. He mentioned how unwelcome and unwanted he felt at his own home and, because of that, he always tried to find something else to do or somewhere else to go just so he could avoid his family as much as possible.
They kept talking a little more walking down the way back home together and right before they go separate ways, Peter invited Caspian to go to his house the next day after school, which Caspian gladly accepted.
From that day on, Caspian would become a very present guest at the Pevensies' house. He would stay for lunch (and sometimes even for dinner), do his homework with Peter, watch a movie with him and his siblings or just have a good time doing anything else, no matter how simple it was. Caspian was just happy for being there with them. It was the first time in so many years he felt as part of a family.
Caspian became very fond of Peter's siblings. Peter would always find Caspian joking around with Edmund, or him giving little sweets to Lucy and letting her brush and play with his hair, or even him and Susan sitting on the sofa laughing of some silly story Susan was telling him about the time they were children. Each of these scenes would make Peter roll his eyes, but also bring a fond smile to his face.
However, what really solidified their bond was a little conversation in one of their movie nights at Peter's house when he finally told Caspian he was gay (Peter: Does it make any difference for you or our friendship now that you know that?). And Caspian's answer gave him all the assurance he needed (Caspian: As long as you don't mind me being bisexual.). It was really freeing for both of them.
When talking about falling in love, Caspian was the one to fall first, but Peter was the one to fall harder. They had already felt attracted to one another in the day they first met, but, since they both were still young and immature boys trying to accept their sexualities (especially Caspian, who was absolutely sure his uncle would never accept his nephew being in love with another boy), this fire that burned inside was easily mistaken as jealousy and rivalry as a way to disguise their true feelings.
Peter's family and friends had already noticed what was going on between him and Caspian long before they both had. Lucy and Edmund even tried to plan situations to make them confess their feelings, but the boys were so fucking oblivious that the attemps always failed. After a while, Susan finally convinced their younger siblings to give up and just let things flow (but she would be lying if she said she wasn't a little impatient with how stupidly blind Caspian and Peter were about each other).
It was only after months of pining that one of them finally decided to take the first step. Caspian was in Peter's bedroom discussing with him some ideas to their science project when the brunette dropped his notebook by accident on the floor. Peter got up to help him to take some of the loose paper sheets when he found a specific one that got his attention. It was the drawing of a face... Peter's face. Differently from previous situations, Caspian didn't try to hide it from him and just smiled. After a minute of silence, he told he had made that one in their last art class. (Peter: It's... It's beautiful. / Caspian: Well, not as much as the original face. / Peter: ... and definitely not as beautiful as the artist himself.). When they finally stood, face to face, Peter held Caspian's face and slowly closed the distance between them. When he saw Caspian didn't try to run away, he finally kissed him. And Caspian was more than happy to kiss him back.
Once they officially start dating, they're the softest together. They would always be seen holding hands, kissing, sitting next to each other, whispering in each other's ears and laughing from whatever the other said. Lucy and Susan found really adorable how lovey-dovey Peter acted around his boyfriend. Edmund, as always, would always take an opportunity to joke about the boys' attitude, which embarrassed his brother to no end, but, just like his sisters, he agreed Peter and Caspian were perfect for each other and he was really happy for them.
Caspian's uncle was never an affectionate man - he could actually be pretty hostil and agressive, especially when Caspian displeased him for any little reason - and his aunt seemed to simply ignore him most of the time. Because of that, he grew out to be very touch-starved and internalized the idea that his feelings didn't matter, so it would better if he kept his mouth shut. Hugs were his primary love language and he always longed to give and receive them from the people he loved. However, there were times he would close himself and keep quiet about his feelings because he feared that his clingy behavior could creep Peter out. But Peter knew him better than anyone and, in the end of the day, he was always there to prove him wrong.
After their high school graduation, they decide to leave their homes and move to their own flat. Caspian gets so relieved for finally having a place of his own and not needing to have any contact with his family anymore. And the fact he was doing all of this with Peter by his side just gave him all the hope that, whatever the hardships they would face, they would do it together. He knew he wasn't alone anymore.
Peter loves Caspian's hair. It's about the relaxing feeling of running his fingers through those luscious black locks while they were laid in bed or when Caspian rested his head on his lap while they watched TV. But what he likes the most is to wrap his fingers through Caspian's curls and slightly pull them during a passionate kiss, which most of the time leads to more... intimate stuff. And Caspian definitely has no complaints about it. He even considered cutting his hair once, but he soon put this idea aside.
There's something really sexy about Caspian's spanish accent, especially when he talked with that low and hoarse tone he always had in the morning. And when Caspian comes closer in bed to wake Peter up and whispers words of love to him in spanish, his lips gently caressing his cheek... Oh God, that shit's enough to fucking turn him on.
As for Caspian, there are mornings when Peter wakes up earlier to make them breakfast. After some minutes, Caspian wakes up with the smell of hot coffee and toasts coming from the kitchen. There was this time that, after putting on a robe and going to the other room, he found Peter standing there with a cup in his hand, his beautifully messy blond hair shining with the sunlight coming from the window, wearing nothing but his underwear and the white shirt Caspian wore last night, only half buttoned, exposing his collarbone and part of his chest. He turned around and opened a big cheeky smile and said "Good morning" with his most seductive voice, offering him a cup of coffee. Caspian swore he felt his heart skip a beat in front of such heavenly image.
After spending all the breakfast staring intensely at each other, Caspian didn't even wait to go back to their bedroom before taking Peter in his arms and putting him sat on the table. He finished opening Peter's shirt and kissed him all the way through his jaw and neck. It doesn't take long to Peter to open Caspian's robe and kisses him back. And they definitely didn't stop there.
They aren't the kind of couple who fights constantly, but when they do, they can lose their patience very easily over the most silly, stupid things. In those situations, they would walk away and stay in different rooms without looking at each other for hours. When they finally calmed down and the loneliness sinked in, one of them would go to the other and apologize, even if it wasn't necessarily their fault. They could drive each other crazy sometimes, but they hated to stay like this. They love each other. That was all that truly mattered in the end.
They love to do all the kind of romantic stuff that lovers do. They go out on dates, give the other flowers and chocolates, borrow each other's clothes, share the headphones while listening to music, rest their heads on the other's shoulder and fall asleep right after (Peter was known for doing that a lot), hold each other in their sleep, and the list goes on.
After they graduate in college and find stable jobs (Peter as a doctor and Caspian as an artist), they finally decide to adopt a dog. Peter was the one who insisted on the idea and how could Caspian ever say 'no' to him? But it was only after they go to the shelter and see the big bright smile on Peter's face when they were taking their new puppy home that Caspian knew this was one of the best choices they ever made in their lives.

Fanfic Update
Chapter 3 has been posted! Here it is:
Excerpt:
Susan sighs, thinking about it. “You know I would follow you anywhere, Peter. Even to get pointlessly soaking wet in the Thames, which I think is illegal.”
“Thank you. I love you,” Peter says, pulling her towards him and hugging her. “I owe you so much for this. And I’m so sorry.”

moodboard: lucy pevensie (the chronicles of narnia) + modern
“lucy felt very frightened, but she felt inquisitive and excited as well. she looked back over her shoulder and there, between the dark tree trunks, she could still see the open doorway of the wardrobe and even catch a glimpse of the empty room from which she had set out. (she had, of course, left the door open, for she knew that it is a very silly thing to shut oneself into a wardrobe.)”

Title: no title Status: WIP Fandom: The Chronicles of Narnia Tags: Gen, Fostering, Modern AU, Mentions of Child Abuse They met for the first time on a cold, February morning, 2020. Mr. Macready, their social worker, stood with a clipboard, his tartan wool scarf bunched up about his face, the dingy grey van idling behind him to warm up. His watery blue eyes watched as his newest group of little monsters straggled out of the facility, wreathed in the fog of their breath; he was irritated, but not surprised, as it was seven in the morning and children were notorious in the system for being slow to get going.
Leading the pack was a thirteen year old boy, Peter James. He was black, his curly hair very short under a red beanie with a little lion embroidered on it, and one of those thick down jackets that seemed popular with the youth, though this one had a tear and some scuffs. He was the newest of the four to be put in foster care and was still adjusting. Still quick to follow adults, but he was considered a problem case because no one wanted a thief in their house. Mr. Macready checked his name and gestured to the van. Peter climbed into the front seat and slung his duffle bag onto his feet.
Next was Susan Li. She was a pretty girl, twelve, of mixed Asian descent. She was a bit coppery in the skin department, and her black hair was long, bound back in a braid. Mr. Macready was glad to foist her off onto the next home, out where it was quiet. She had a lot of issues and suffered panic attacks, especially in cars. There was a dreamy look in her eyes this morning that spoke of anti-anxiety meds. All her clothes were a lot finer than the others’, and she carried herself with grace. He checked her off, and turned to help her into the van. She scooted across to the opposite window and put her suitcase and purse on the seat next to her so that the other two wouldn’t get close.
Lucille -- no, she liked to be called Lucy --  Baker followed after, the only one bright eyed, bushy-tailed, and ready for anything. She was a medium brown of mixed races, though Macready thought she might be at least a fourth Native American. At eight years old she was the youngest, but she’d been in the system longest. She greeted him with a cheerful good morning and fistbumped him. He’d known her for most of her life, so he was glad to oblige, but also to relieve her of the butter knife she’d ‘borrowed’ from the kitchen. She sighed heavily and didn’t bother lecturing him on her reasons for needing a knife, then bounced into the back seat, slinging her backpack into her lap. Only once she was sat did he check her off.
And the last was Edmund Gardiner. He was white, with medium brown hair, and a surly expression. He’d been in foster care about five years, but he was new to Macready’s rotation due to a sudden uptick in backtalk and bullying behavior. He dragged his rolling suitcase and readjusted his messenger bag as he came to a stop in front of Macready, who felt very judged. Aged ten and already Edmund was a very jaded child. The social worker checked him off and motioned him into the van. The boy settled next to Lucy, feet on top of his suitcase, and Mr. Macready slid the door shut.It was a bit of a drive from Sacramento to the coast.
Their destination was a little farm northwest of Vallejo, between Bodega and Bodega Bay. It was a mostly pleasant trip, save for Ed’s attempted annoying of Lucy -- who could give as good as she got -- and Susan -- who stoutly ignored him in favor of her phone. Peter largely stared out the window, far out of Edmund’s reach. Eventually the boy gave up in favor of an old GameBoy.
Honestly, it was only two hours. You’d have thought they were crossing the Oregon Trail by wagon.
About nine thirty they pulled off the main road onto a graveled one. It was well-graded, only a little bumpy, and he could see that the children perked up a bit. Not that they were particularly happy that they were going to go live in the middle of nowhere, but they’d all learned to pay attention to these things.Trees lined the road, still naked from winter, or else they were evergreens. A huge almond tree arched over the yard that they pulled into, and the children gasped a little at the house.
‘House’ was perhaps the wrong word. ‘Castle’ might be more appropriate. Though the place was a farm, it was a highly seasonal, themed farm. A large sign with a pumpkin on it, down at the end of the little road, proclaimed the place to be the Kirk Family Farm.
“Pumpkins?” Edmund asked incredulously. “We’re going to be staying at a Halloween farm?”
“Cool!” That was Lucy, scrambling to undo her seatbelt, and then there was a shoving match between the two that only stopped when Mr. Macready raised his voice. Susan pushed the door open and got out quickly, her hands shaking as she got her luggage. Peter got out too, and he stared up at the false castle with quiet fascination.
A Latine woman in thick overalls, boots, and a jean and sheep’s wool coat was coming out to meet them. She was tall, with a wide stride, and hair high up in a ponytail. She was in her late forties. “Good morning!” she called, putting out a hand to shake with Mr. Macready. “John, yes? Nice to see you again. Hullo, kids! I’m Polly Plumeria.”
She did not offer to shake their hands, but Lucy did offer her hand, and received a hearty handshake in return. A door under an overhang rattled shut, and a black man made his way over as well. He was about Polly’s age, bald, and with a straight and dignified bearing.
“This is Reverend Digory Kirk,” Polly continued, taking his hand fondly.
“Hello, children. Welcome to my farm.” He had a deep, rich voice that Lucy immediately liked. “I’m the Reverend for one of the local churches, so I might not always be around. Miss Plumeria will be taking care of you all for the most part.” Edmund tipped his head and said insolently, “A preacher and an unmarried woman living in sin together?”
Everyone had something to say about that, of course. Mr. Macready growled out a warning of, “Edmund…” next to Lucy’s scandalized, “Edmund!”
Susan rolled her eyes heavenward in a bid for strength from any listening deity, and Peter looked like he wanted to whack the boy upside the head. The Reverend just chuckled, leaned in nearer, and said, “Yes.”
Edmund scoffed. Polly put her hands on her hips and smirked. “Oh, so you’re going to be trouble?”
Edmund puffed himself up and proudly grinned. “Yes. Yes, I am.”

Summary: Abby is straight. And then you move in with her.
Tags: modern au, fem!reader, straight!abby (she is doing some comphet bullshit), pining, idiot in love and it's abby, reader is gay and tired.
Notes: Abby is stupid, but she finally says goodbye to Aslan and leaves Narnia! Let's say a big thank you to Ellie for being the bestest friend ever. You're just chilling with Vi, this chapter is mostly Abby-centric because oh boy she overthinks. Four-eyed girl/blonde bitch is Kara Danvers.

Abby had a problem.
It’s been two weeks since you brought that blonde four-eyed girl home, and Abby had a problem.
Because you brought another girl again a week ago, and it didn’t make Abby feel any better.
In fact, she only got angrier and felt even more disgust than before. And it was bothering her, because you yourself weren't disgusting at all, the best roommate and a good friend, and she loved spending time with you as always, but there was one thing that made her uneasy.
The gay thing. The thing where you had sex with girls. Abby was absolutely fine with you at any other moment, but when she saw that blonde bitch kissing you goodbye she almost puked.
So Abby came to the most logical conclusion: she was homophobic. This revelation made her heart stop as she became more afraid of herself - she'd never say she was a homophobe, her best friend was a lesbian, it just didn't make sense! But Abby never heard Ellie have sex and never saw her hookups after, so she just didn't have a trigger to figure out how much gay was too much for her. She could listen to Ellie talking about her new girl no problem, but that was probably it. And they never lived together, so Abby couldn't say if she'd be okay if Ellie would bring girls over, so.
Abby was deeply ashamed of herself, but she had to admit it.
She wasn't okay with the fact that you were a lesbian.
To make things worse, Abby remembered how you told her you were a lesbian to make sure she was okay living with you, and she said yes, and how sad it made her that you had to clarify it right away because you probably had your fair share of homophobia in your life, and now Abby was not okay with it.
Fuck, she was like those shitty parents who said that they accepted their children as they were, but then pulled "keep it to yourself" on them. That was literally how Abby felt, because she wished you could go back to "normal" where she didn't know anything about your sex life.
When you didn't have a sex life.
"Did you finish your paper?" You asked on Tuesday morning as you brewed coffee for her, sleepy and tired, your hair a mess.
How could she live with herself now?
"Yeah." Abby said shortly, not looking at you, too ashamed.
"That's amazing." You yawned and put the plate with breakfast in front of her. "You'll have to wait for coffee, sorry."
Abby wanted to cry. You were so nice to her and she was a horrible fucking person who hated the fact that you were gay.
"It's okay."
"Are you feeling okay? You seem a little bit down." You looked sympathetic and worried, and it really hurt.
Abby chuckled, trying to act normal, but when she lifted her eyes the first thing she saw was a hickey on your collarbone and her stomach twisted in disgust.
"Just tired. Can't wait for the break." So she could go home and not see you. (So she could go home and miss you crazy)
"Are you going back home?"
"Yeah, all the way to Seattle. You?"
"I'll probably stay here. Or if Cait would have to go home, I'll go with her to keep her sane."
"Does her family celebrate Thanksgiving?"
"Not really, but social events are social events and if they need to show her off, they will."
"Tough."
"Are you sure you're okay? You can talk to me." You asked again, still worried and clearly not buying Abby's excuses.
Abby shook her head and smiled, knowing you'd read right through her.
"Nah, I'm fine. Don't worry your pretty head."
Besides, what would she tell you? That she despised your sexuality? That she wished you were straight? That she needed you to stop having sex and promise her you'd never get a girlfriend because it didn't align with her traditional beliefs? Yeah, what a great conversation it would be.
The lessons with Vi were very productive: you were sure she'd get an A on her test with how much progress she made in these few weeks. She tended to forget some things, but she was able to logic her way out of questions that she didn't remember the right answer to, and you felt confident in her abilities.
The sex was amazing too. Vi was really chill about a lot of things, very flexible and actually enjoyed it when you topped, which didn't happen often with girls you usually hooked up with. She was very sweet and so down to earth you started trusting her without even noticing it. You started having deep conversations after sex, sharing your secrets and problems, and you adored Vi.
"In a friendly way." You specified when you told her how much you appreciated her.
"I remember, don't worry." Vi laughed and stroked her bare thigh. "I'm not emotionally available either."
"Really? Spill." You got excited, happy to not be alone in the losers' boat.
"Only if you do too."
"Oh, no problem." You laughed. "I'm the worst gay stereotype. She is straight and I'm hopeless."
Vi's hand stopped on your thigh and she looked at you like you were insane.
"Are you stupid?"
"I am." You laughed and nuzzled on her shoulder. "My best friend thinks she is in the closet, but it doesn't really help, you know?"
"Yeah." Vi sighed and looked at the ceiling, contemplating your words, as her other arm pulled you closer. "I'm genuinely sorry, (y/n)."
"Yeah, me too." You took a pause, looking at the ceiling as well, still a little high after your last orgasm, but sadness was creeping out on you when you thought about Abby. "What about you?"
"I-uh. We share a class together, but I've never talked to her. She is very smart, like. Genius level."
"And I'm stupid?" You said, playfully offended. "Be brave, talk to her. Which class do you share?"
"The class I'm failing and you're tutoring me in. Not the great first impression. Plus, you know, what if I'm in love with a fantasy in my head? I don't know her."
"Go and talk to her, I swear to god. I can do it for you, if you want." You shrugged, not seeing any barriers in this situation. You were 100% hopeless, but Vi could still get her girl.
"It's pointless. She'd never give a chance to someone like me, we're from different worlds. Oil and water." Vi said, sad and given up, and you felt angry on her behalf: what was so special about this girl that Vi didn't even want to try?
"What do you mean?"
"She is rich. And I'm an orphan who can barely pay rent and have a baby sister to support."
"If it's a problem for her, she is an asshole and doesn't deserve you anyway." You huffed. "But yeah, I know what you're saying. Privilege is something you can't really ignore."
Vi hummed and you kissed her shoulder just to show you were there for her. You knew what Vi was talking about firsthand: Caitlyn really had to learn a lot when you became friends, since you had to financially support yourself the whole time and couldn't afford hanging out in places Cait used to hang out. She was confused when her expensive gifts offended you and she looked so terrified when you brought her to eat street food and there were no textile napkins. It was hilarious but it was also a harsh reminder of what privilege looked like.
Now she was way down to earth and ate pizza with her hands while sitting on the ground, changed her whole friend circle and yeah, she was still wearing a lot of expensive things, but she knew her privilege and never looked down at anyone, almost embarrassed she had it better. Which was a good look on her, honestly - she wasn't responsible for her family's wealth, but she was still responsible for herself and you felt comforted knowing she held herself accountable. Caitlyn was good, and you hoped Vi's girl would be even better to her.
Or you'd have to hunt her down and kill her, because Vi was precious.
On Thursday you had your usual cuddle time and Abby never felt more guilty in her life as she once again held you in her arms and enjoyed it. She couldn't keep her hands off you no matter how hard she tried, and she didn't want to distance herself from you and make you feel guilty - she knew you would since you always confirmed if Abby was okay with being touched. It didn't seem fair to still cuddle you and bask in your warmth and softness when she had this nasty feeling inside her. If before that she felt like she was using you because she was touch-starved, now not only she was using you because she was touch-starved, she actually had the audacity to be disgusted when she thought where your hands might have been.
Where your mouth might have been.
Abby noticed she was looking at your mouth a lot, and she was mad at herself because instead of trying to block those awful thoughts and avoid possible triggers she only instigated them by looking at your mouth for no reason at all.
Abby was slowly going insane and she really needed to discuss it with someone who wouldn’t judge her, because it wasn’t her proudest moment. She felt like the worst person in the world for being the way she was, but she just couldn’t get over herself. So instead of going home on Friday night Abby went over to Ellie’s place.
She was afraid to bring this up with Ellie too, because if she was homophobic it meant Ellie was under fire too and Abby wanted to cry from how bad she felt. They have been friends since they were children and Abby was the first person Ellie came out to and now Abby felt like she might ruin something between them and betray Ellie's trust.
Ellie noticed something was up with her and Abby already saw her stubborn frown that meant she wouldn't get away without talking to her.
"What's up with you? You look like a kicked puppy." Ellie took a swig of her beer as she observed Abby, trying to read her non-verbals.
"I've discovered something about myself I'm not really proud of." Abby admitted and Ellie nodded knowingly as if she already knew what Abby was going to say. Fuck, was she micro-homophobic to Ellie before? Was it something noticeable? Did she hurt Ellie? "I'm a homophobe."
The knowing look on Ellie's face changed to shock as her eyes grew in size and her mouth fell open.
"You're what." Ellie asked carefully as if Abby was an angry animal who needed to be calmed down.
"I'm sorry." Abby said immediately. "I know it sounds ridiculous since you're my best friend but hear me out."
“..Okay.”
“Fuck, it’s so awful.” Abby started, ashamed of herself. “A few weeks ago (y/n) and I discussed  bringing people over and she started bringing girls. And I thought I'd be okay with it, but I'm just. So disgusted. I literally want to throw up.” Abby looked at Ellie, ready to accept her reaction, no matter what it would be, but Ellie only stared at her, confused.
"That's why you think you're a homophobe?"
"Yes. Because I'm only like that when she brings girls over. She is the best roommate I've ever had, but I'm not fine with her being gay."
"Are you fine with me being gay?" Ellie asked, still confused, and Abby felt the guilt wash over her.
"I don't know anymore. You didn't have sex in the same apartment with me, so I have no evidence. I think I'm fine if you keep it to yourself?" Why was she like this? This was her best friend and she was a total asshole to her right now.
Ellie sat straight and leaned to Abby as if she wanted to say something important.
"Abby. Abigail. You went to lesbian bars with me. You saw me making out. You were hit on a million times by other women. I never kept it to myself with you." Ellie waited until Abby took it in. "I'll prove it to you."
Ellie stood up and went to the door to her room, opening it halfway and sticking her head out.
"Dina! Can you come here?"
Ellie's roommate came into the room a few moments later and Abby was confused as fuck - did they need a whole council to decide Abby's fate or what?
"Abby here thinks she is a homophobe. Can you make out with me in front of her?"
Abby couldn't help but laugh in surprise, her affection for Ellie's stupid ideas lifting her mood a little. Dina laughed too and shrugged, sitting next to Ellie on the opposite side of Abby.
"Pda is generally uncomfortable, you know." Dina said to Ellie, seemingly thinking her idea was stupid too, but still rolling with it.
"Well, you tell us Abby if it's generally uncomfortable or you want us to burn in hell." Ellie murmured in Dina's lips before she kissed her.
Abby felt her breath hitch as she watched them making out and it was even more embarrassing - she didn't feel disgust, no. She felt- She felt-
Abby was terrified to give a name to this feeling, suddenly ashamed of what she felt as she watched her best friend making out with another girl, but her chest fluttered and her heart was beating faster. She felt an ache between her legs and it was even more embarrassing - was she- was she fetishizing her best friend? Was she that deranged?
"So, do you want to throw up?" Ellie asked, panting, as she moved her hands away from Dina's face.
"No." What Abby actually wanted was a very different thing. "I mean- no. I'm fine. You both are pretty, so."
Ellie and Dina shared a look between them, and if Abby paid attention she'd know their looks said "this bitch is stupid".
"Am I fetishizing you right now?" Abby asked, genuinely confused.
"I can't believe this shit." Ellie said, exasperated. "You're not. Abby, you're not a homophobe, okay?"
"I'm gonna go, I have shit to do. Good luck with the identity crisis, Abby." Dina said and left Ellie's room to give them privacy, knowing it was a conversation she shouldn't be a part of.
"But if I saw (y/n) like this I'd definitely puke. I almost did." Abby countered, still confused.
"So you're saying you only have this reaction to (y/n)?"
"I think so. How many lesbians do you think are having sex in my apartment?"
"Well, considering (y/n)'s body count, I'd say a lot."
Abby frowned in anger and Ellie caught it, coming up with a different reason.
"Maybe you're just uncomfortable with her having sex at your place. Would you care if she didn't bring those girls home but fucked them somewhere else?"
Abby went silent as she imagined that, but Ellie interrupted her fantasy where she was totally cool with you sleeping around outside your place.
"Because I know she stayed over at other people's places."
The cocktail of her awful emotions came back full force and the fantasy where Abby was okay with it was in ruins, replaced with fury - she didn't know that and it made her fucking mad.
"How do you know that?"
"Gossip." Ellie said shortly. "So, do you care if she fucks somewhere else?"
Oh, Abby wanted to lie so bad. She wanted to pretend the whole issue was just about your sex life on her doorstep, but she was tired of feeling like this. She was tired of getting angry at you for nothing and she just wanted everything to be back to normal.
"I do."
"Okay." Ellie sighed. "I'm going to say something, okay?"
Abby nodded, apprehensive.
"You're jealous, Abby."
"Nah, I had Owen, remember? I'm not worried about having less sex." Abby said, relieved: she already thought of this and figured out it wasn't about who had more sex in your apartment.
"No, Abs. You're jealous of all those girls who fuck her."
"That… doesn't make sense." Abby laughed nervously, suddenly filled with desire to hide from Ellie and her words.
"Dude, being homophobic to one person doesn't make sense either, since a) I'm your best friend and I'm a lesbian b) you didn't punch me when I told you I had a crush on you-"
"That was so embarrassing why would you bring it up-"
"And c) you literally punch homophobes in their face."
"I'm not gay." Abby said stubbornly. Yes she did punch some homophobes in her life, but it didn't make her a lesbian. She didn't like girls! She wasn't like that!
"I didn't say that." Ellie chuckled like she caught Abby on something. "But the thought that you're homophobic is ridiculous."
It was ridiculous. Oh god. Abby felt so stupid right now - what kind of mental gymnastics was she doing? And she was so sure of it too, it really seemed logical and sensible. But if she wasn't homophobic, she didn't care where you had sex (she only cared that you had sex at all), what was her problem?
"Have you ever thought of her in that way?" Ellie asked.
"Why would I?" Abby asked, suddenly defensive.
"Why would it be so wrong if you liked girls?"
That question broke Abby's brains. She stared at Ellie for a few seconds, not even comprehending her words. Indeed, why would it be so wrong? There was nothing wrong with liking girls, why didn't she want to even entertain the idea? Why did she push this "husband two and a half kids dog" agenda on herself?
"Am I fucking-" Abby was shocked as thoughts ran through her head at light speed. "Am I homophobic to myself?"
"This feels like therapy, I swear." Ellie chuckled. "Dude, if you feel guilty for liking girls then yes, you're homophobic to yourself."
"I just-" Abby looked at her own hands, still shocked. "I didn't think I was allowed."
"Well, as the president of lesbians I'm giving you permission to like girls. How does it feel?"
"Like you're stupid and I'm even more stupid." Abby deadpanned. "This is-"
So many things started to make sense: the way Abby always tried not to stare at other girls, how she preferred softness to hardness, "all girls are pretty", how she never bothered with boys because they didn't strike much interest and ran to girls instead because they were just better-
(How she stared at Caitlyn's tits)
"I'm not straight." Abby said and laughed. "And I'm so stupid."
Ellie laughed and nodded. She was happy for Abby, even if she was an utter idiot.
"Homophobic my ass." Ellie thought as they clicked their bottles. "Congratulations on liking pussy, Abs."
Abby laughed, a little embarrassed, but she felt so light in that moment, finally free of years of guilt for looking at girls for too long. It also explained why didn't look at you when you were just out of the shower - she was just gay and scared.
For some reason the conversation changed and they never got back to why you were Abby's "favourite", too overwhelmed with the biggest realisation of Abby's life. Abby was absolutely thrilled with her new discovery and excited about what laid ahead.
As far as she could tell, all lesbians around her were having a hell of a fun time.

Roomies - Edmund Pevensie x Reader Modern AU!
Word count: 4.2k
I just had a glorious idea about a modern Narnia AU. I'm not British so lmao. Football in this means Soccer. slay
Fem identifying reader. Mention of having long hair.
Summary: Edmund is an asshole AND your roommate. But he also happens to be a really attractive asshole roommate. And apparently, a really possessive one too.
Warnings: Language, smut, mutual pining, SO SWEET at the end!!
I'm down bad for him
Tumblr media
"What time will you be back today?" You and Edmund were in the kitchen, eating breakfast before your day of classes began.
You glanced at him, shirtless in all his glory, eating a piece of toast. He was leaning on the counter, watching you butter your own.
"My writing class was canceled so I will be back around 1." Edmund audibly sighs, a sign that he will definitely have company over at that time. "Don't ask me to stay on campus. Just because you can't keep it in your pants doesn't mean I should be exiled from my own home."
Edmund pushes himself off of the counter, chuckling to himself.
"I wasn't gonna ask you anything. I just didn't think you'd be one to listen though." Before you could respond, he was gone.
Several hours later, you pulled into your parking spot in front of your and Edmund's apartment. You had since forgotten about your earlier conversation until you opened your front door to hear the oh-so-delightful noises of Edmund's newest friend moaning at the top of her lungs.
You have to stop yourself from gagging.
"Jesus." The time was 1:30. You had given him thirty extra minutes. "I fucking hate him." This was untrue, as you really did not hate the handsome man who you lived with. Underneath your facade of disdain and disgust, lay your actual feelings toward your roommate. Ever since he took his sister Lucy's spot in the lease for her year abroad, you developed a minor, (major!!!), crush on him. And your feelings of disgust? Totally not jealousy!
You had spent the better half of the last five months trying not to listen to him and his lady friends in his room and pining over him from yours.
How could you not be attracted to Edmund Pevensie? A pre-law major with dark hair and dark eyes, and a dashing smile. Not to mention the spatter of freckles that covered his body, toned from years of playing football. Jesus, you were down so bad for your flatmate.
You set your stuff down on the couch in your shared living space and turned to the sink where his dishes lay, unclean. Still able to hear the actions of the lovely people downstairs, you turn your music up all the way to drown out the noise before unloading the dishwasher and loading it again with his dishes.
Minutes later, the front door opens and closes, signifying that Edmund's friend has left. You turn your music down and focused on the plate you are scrubbing, dried mac and cheese would not come out in the dishwasher, as Edmund walked up the stairs.
"Ah. So you are home." His accent makes you smile the slightest bit. You can see him in your peripheral, shirtless with grey sweats low on his hips. You move your eyes away quickly. "Did you enjoy what you heard, darling?" Rolling your eyes, you look at him, not giving into the flutter of your heart when he called you darling.
"You're a pig, Pevensie." You weren't anticipating his next move and were startled when his lips were suddenly on your cheek.
"You love me."
"Ew!" Glaring at him, you wipe the wetness from his lips off of your face and then wipe your hand on a paper towel only to find him grinning at you. You do a once-over of his uncovered torso, which you could now see was adorned with scratches and bruises. "Go put a shirt on." Edmund glances down, smile widening, before looking back at you.
"And cover up the view? Nah." You move to put the plate you had been washing away in the cabinet and then suddenly, Edmund is behind you, his body only inches from yours.
You try to ignore the heat radiating off of his bare skin and how his fingers brush yours when he reaches above you to grab a bowl. He steps away quickly and if he noticed a change in your demeanor, he didn't bring it up. You left the kitchen area, grabbed your backpack, and went to your room.
How in the world did he have this effect on you? As soon as your door was closed and you were safe in the comfort of your bedroom, you let out a sigh of relief. A buzz pulled your attention from your feelings toward Edmund to your phone.
r u going to the party tn???
It was your friend Alyssa, whom you had met freshman year in your Intro to Psychology class.
You know I don't like parties.
You flop on your bed, awaiting her pleading response. In truth, you didn't hate parties, you just didn't see the point in going out and getting drunk with strangers when you could get drunk in the pleasure of your own home.
im coming over at 8 and we are getting ready together
You knew there wouldn't be a point in fighting her on the topic since sooner or later she would have convinced you to go.
Hours later, after Edmund had left for his evening classes, and also the party you presumed, Alyssa knocked on your front door and seconds later walked into your room.
"Is he here?" You sit up on your bed, your book falling onto your comforter beside you.
"No." Alyssa had gone straight into your closet, pulling out an outfit for you to wear.
"Good. That way he won't know you are going tonight." Your eyebrow quirks up.
"What does that mean?"
She turned to you, a smirk gracing her tanned face.
"We both know that if your roomie knew you were going tonight, he would have texted all his little friends to keep away from you."
This was true and it was annoying, but one night while drunk, you had let it slip to him that you were a virgin. Since then, Edmund had made sure that no guys would talk to you at parties.
You made no effort to argue and reached over to pick up what she had chosen for you to wear. It was simple, a pair of faux leather pants and a black lace corset. (the urban one iykyk)
"Alyssa, I haven't worn this top out-"
"All the more reason to wear it tonight! C'mon! It will be fun! Besides, maybe Ed will finally take notice of your feelings and how hot you are."
"Alyssa!" She smiles.
"Ok fine. But maybe you'll meet another guy. Since our good friend hasn't had time to scare anyone away."
The idea intrigues you, maybe you'd have a good time tonight.
You notice what she is wearing, a pair of straight-leg jeans and a black tank top. She looks amazing, as always. You get up to sit at your desk to begin applying your makeup.
"So what do you suppose he will do when he sees you looking all sexy?"
"Nothing?" Your reply earns you an eyebrow raise.
"Nothing? You don't think he's gonna react at all?"
You shrug, leaning forward to perfect your winged eyeliner.
"There is nothing he can do now. If he wants to try and ruin my night, he can go ahead. If I'm going to this party, I intend on having a good time." Alyssa giggles.
"Maybe even get laid?" You whip around in your chair to glare at her.
"Seriously?" Her laughter grows.
"Hey, if not by Edmund, you're bound to find someone at this party!"
Your heart beats faster at the thought.
...
You and Alyssa arrive at the party at around eleven. It has been going on for about an hour so it had grown quite large. The other girls around you are dressed similarly to you, bringing some comfort into the oddness you felt about your appearance. Alyssa had requested you wear your hair down and straight and you obliged.
To be honest, you did look amazing. The corset had been a perfect fit, makes your chest look fantastic, and the pants fit you like a glove, hugging your ass so well that when you saw yourself in the mirror, you were surprised. The look was completed with your dark green platform converse, which somehow made you feel comfortable.
While walking through the crowd of people, you keep your eye out for a certain raven-haired boy, but couldn't seem to find him.
"Hey, don't think about him. Just have a good time." Alyssa nudges your arm and you nod, disregarding the looming thought of Edmund's reaction to your appearance at the party.
"You're right. I'm gonna go get a drink." You leave her in a room filled with sweaty university students to find the kitchen, where you presumed the alcohol to be.
To be honest? You felt great. You looked great and with no Edmund around, you had nothing to worry about. If you wanted to flirt with a cute guy, you would.
You round the corner and spot the kitchen, and a pack of Trulys, and made a beeline for the drinks. As you fish a black cherry seltzer out of the box you hear someone call your name.
"Y/N!" You turn abruptly and came face to face with a familiar face.
Sam, a friend of Edmund's from football, smiling at you.
"How are you?" Sam is very attractive, with blond hair and sparkly blue eyes, he's the complete opposite of Edmund.
"I'm alright." You smile at him.
"I didn't expect you to be here."
"Yeah, it was kind of a last-minute decision." You take a swig of your drink as he smiles down at you.
"Well, I'm glad. I was hoping I would be able to speak to you at some point. Ed's always telling the team to stay away from you." You roll your eyes.
"Sorry about that, I don't know why he does that. Is he here tonight?" Sam nods.
"Yeah, he's somewhere around here." Sam glances around, as if nervous that he'd get in trouble for talking to you. "Do you wanna dance?"
"Sure!" Sam takes your hand and leads you back into the room where you left Alyssa, back to the loud music and dancing. It is then that you see Edmund for the first time.
He's walking down the stairs holding hands with a pretty blonde girl who is dressed in a dark green slip dress. You wrap your arms around Sam and pull him into your body. His hands settle on your hips, fingers hooking onto your belt loops and pulling you closer.
You make eye contact with Edmund and his eyes widen and then narrow at the sight of you with Sam. You can see him mouth something to the girl he is with but instead of paying attention to him, you focus on Sam.
The two of you dance to the music and you forget about Edmund. You realize you have run out of your drink and tap Sam's shoulder.
"Is everything alright?"
"Yeah, I just need another drink! Give me like fifteen minutes. I need to check on my friend, too." You smile at him before returning to the kitchen, where you happen to find Alyssa.
"Hi!" Lord, she is drunk. "I've missed you! Where have you been?" You giggle at her antics, pouring yourself a shot of vodka, the burning causing you to make a face as you take it.
"I've been dancing! With a guy named Sam from the football team!"
Her eyes widen in shock and she grins at you.
"OMG. Fucking finally!" She takes the initiative to pour you, and her, another shot.
...
Ten minutes later, and maybe 4 more shots later, you and Alyssa are drunk off of your asses.
"So you're telling me that if Sam wanted to take you home tonight, you'd say no?" Her arm is clasped around your forearm.
"Yes." You can't contain your giggling.
"But why? He's so hot and obviously into you!"
Your face flushes as you think of the real reason you don't want to spend the night with Sam.
"You know why." You take a sip of your newly opened Truly and glare at her.
A deadpan look blooms on her face.
"I forgot." Your eyes roll.
"Because I like someone else!" Alyssa gets really excited at this news.
"WHO?" You shush her, her voice well above the other chatter in the small kitchen you are in.
"You know who!" Her face contorts into confusion.
"No, I don't."
"It's..." You look around, suddenly very aware through your drunken haze, just to make sure there aren't any lurkers to hear your conversation. "It's Edmund!" You whisper.
"Oh! I did know that!" She giggles and takes a sip of her drink. "Yeah, I remember how you said you were jealous of all of the girls he fucked and how you wished he would-"
"Jesus Christ, Alyssa! Shut up!" She continues.
"just fuck you already!" Your face is red and you are mortified. Anyone passing by could have heard what you had been talking about. "Don't worry babe. Everyone here is way too drunk to even remember this conversation. I'm too drunk to remember this conversation!" A small smile graces your lips. "So, how do you want him to do it?" You hit her arm.
"Alyssa!"
"What? I wanna hear about your Edmund fantasies!" Your blush deepens. "C'mon!"
"Fuck- fine. I've always imagined him..." You cannot believe you are speaking your deepest secret aloud, at a party nonetheless. "I don't know. Cornering me in the kitchen." Alyssa squeals.
"Counter sex!" The girl is fucking giddy at the thought of you getting some action in your kitchen. You roll your eyes but nod.
"I guess..." Suddenly, you remember the nice boy you had been dancing with. "Shit! I have to go find Sam! He probably thinks I ditched him. Will you be ok?" She smiles and nods at you.
You trek back into the masses to find the blonde guy and he's right where you left him. You catch his eyes and smile.
"Hey! I'm so sorry. I found my friend and we ended up talking for a bit. I didn't mean to leave you here." He doesn't respond right away and looks away from your eyes, glancing around. "Is everything ok? You look uncomfortable."
"Listen, you are really nice but I don't think this is gonna work out." Confusion wipes across your face.
"What the hell? We were just dancing!" You don't understand what you could have done to make him act this way.
"It's not you, really. It's just-" You cut him off, suddenly very aware of what was happening.
"He told you to leave me alone, didn't he?" Sam looks apologetic as he nods.
"I'm sorry, I really like you." You run a hand through your hair.
"I'm so fucking done with this." You leave Sam and look around for the dark mess of hair you know so well. You're pissed. Even though you weren't going to do anything with Sam, you were still glad to have the option. You decided then and there that you were done with Edmund deciding things for you.
You found him in the kitchen, drinking a beer and laughing with some of his football mates.
"Edmund!" His head turns to you and he grins. "Stop fucking with me!" You somehow have the courage to get all up in his face. His stupid, Goddamn handsome face. "Stop telling any guy I see to stop talking to me. It's my fucking life. Stay out of it."
Edmund licks his lips and his gaze rakes down your body, making you very aware of the fact you are in lingerie in front of your roommate.
"Whatever you say, darling." His friends laugh and you leave before Edmund can see your face heat up. You find Alyssa dancing in the other room and pull her aside.
"I'm ready to leave whenever you are. I can't be around him right now." She nods frantically.
"Omg. Ok. Yeah, let's go!"
The two of you leave the party and begin the, thankfully short, walk to Alyssa's place.
"Do you wanna stay the night?" You thought about what would happen if you went home, would Edmund be home tonight? Would he not? You remember the blonde from earlier.
"No, I'll get an Uber home. I don't think he's going to be home anytime soon and I'd like to sleep in my own bed." Alyssa nods and the two of you talk until your Uber arrives.
"Text me when you get home." You nod and hug her.
"I'm sorry for making you leave early."
"No! If one of us wants to leave, we leave. That's the rule." She ushers you out of her door. "Sleep well!" A grin appears on her face. "With visions of Edmund dancing in your head!"
"Fuck off!" You glare before getting into the car.
As you expect, Edmund is not at the apartment when you get back and you are able to go to your room without him and blondie interfering. A small bubbling of jealousy and anger blooms in your gut when you think about what he is probably doing right now. With her. Shaking it off, you brush your teeth and slip into bed before falling asleep.
...
You wake up the next morning with a splitting headache. Groaning as you roll out of bed, you close your blinds to make your room dimmer. As you go upstairs you listen for any movement in Edmund's room, praying he isn't home yet. You breathe a sigh of relief when you're greeted with silence on the other side.
As you walk up the stairs, you halt in your tracks as you see him sitting on the couch. Clad in grey sweats and nothing else, he makes your heart flutter, even though you are pissed at him. You don't engage with him at all, avoiding his gaze as you walk to the kitchen to pour yourself a glass of water.
While opening the bottle of Advil you hear Edmund move from the couch. You take the meds and open the dishwasher to put your glass inside. When you stand, Edmund is behind you, his hands set on the counter, effectively caging you in. Your breath catches in your throat.
"So, is this how you imagined it?" His voice is right next to your ear, sending shivers down your spine. "Me fucking you in the kitchen?" Your eyes widen in shock. His lips graze your neck as he murmurs... "Answer me." Your words are stuck in your throat, thoughts going wild in your head.
Had he heard you and Alyssa last night?
You are brought out of your thoughts when Edmund dips his head further down and kisses where your neck meets your shoulder. "C'mon hun, let me make make you feel good." His lips travel up to your throat and you melt back into his body. He whispers in your ear, "Please?"
His hands leave the counter to rest on your waist, his fingers just slightly touching your bare skin where your shirt had been riding up moments before.
"Don't make me beg, love." He turns you around, bringing his body closer to you. You don't reply, too flustered with his actions to say anything. He tilts your chin up, forcing you to meet his gaze, a smirk pulling at his lips. "Ok, fine. I'll beg." He grins.
Edmund's hands reach down to pick you up, setting you on the counter. He steps in between your legs, setting his hands on your thighs while his thumbs draw circles on your bare skin.
"Do you know how many times I've thought about surprising you in the shower? Just so I could see you naked?" His gaze is still trained on your eyes. "Do you know how many times I've heard you touching yourself in your room? Wishing it was me who was making you feel that way?" He looks down at your lips and then back up to your eyes. "Do you know how many times I've thought about this moment? Last night? After I saw you dancing with Sam in that outfit... You looked stunning, my love." He moves to be right above your face, his lips so close they could touch yours. "So many Goddamn times, baby. So please," He pouts the slightest bit. "Let me make you feel good."
Kiss me.
As if he could read your mind, he does. Your hands fly to his hair and pull him into you even more, his lower half fully against you.
And oh.
Oh.
You pull away, looking down at his hips with wide eyes. Edmund laughs.
"Darling this is what you do to me. Every." He kisses your shoulder. "Bloody." Your neck. "Day." Your jaw. He pulls away so you are able to see him. His perfect hair, and his perfect smile, and his perfect freckles.
And the fucking devil in his eyes.
"So are you going to let me act on your fantasies? Or are we just going to go back to you thinking about me when you touch yourself at night and me pretending not to get off on it?" You lean forward to kiss him again and he leans back, running his tongue over his lips. "Do you want me to fuck you, Y/N?" A deep blush blooms on your cheeks.
"Yes." It's barely above a whisper but it's audible. When he hears your response, he smiles again.
"Fucking finally."
His lips return to yours and his grip on your hips tightens as he pulls you against him again. You tighten your thighs around him, reveling in the taste of his lips.
"Oh my God." He murmurs against your lips. Your hands travel down his neck and to his bare shoulders and your nails dig into his skin just a bit, making him hiss in sweet pain.
"Fuck." His hands start to pull at your shorts. "Off. Now." You lift yourself up so he can pull them down, along with your underwear. He groans as he looks down. "Bloody hell." One of his hands wipes over his face, taking you in. His bottom lip pulls in between his teeth as he looks into your eyes again. "Darling, I'd absolutely love to taste you but I'm afraid I'll explode if I don't fuck you soon." His fingers find his waistband and he pauses at your wide eyes. "Do you want to do it?"
Holy Hell you can feel the effects of his words on the surface below you. He gently grabs your hands, setting them on his hips. "Go ahead." You do as your told and push the fabric down his thighs. You look away, not quite ready to take witness to your roommates dick.
"I need you to say it one more time. Do you want this?" You look into his eyes.
"Yes." He smiles, his lips on yours and brings himself to your core.
"Take a deep breath, my love." When you do, Edmund pushes into you. The pain takes you by surprise and you let out a grunt of pain. He catches your lips with his and draws patterns on your skin with his free hand. Your nails dig into his back once again and he groans into your mouth when he bottoms out. "If you keep doing that I'm not going to last long." He begins moving very slowly. The pain slowly becomes pleasure. "I wanna make this good for you."
You drop your head to his shoulder.
"Oh my god, Ed it's-." His mouth is close to your ear making you hear all of the sounds he's making. "Fuck!"
"Holy shit."
"Ed-" You gasp, hands on his shoulders, as he stops moving.
"Please don't make me stop. I've been wanting this for so long." He lays his forehead on your shoulder and you can tell it's taking every ounce of his self-control not to move.
"No- I was just gonna ask if..." You pause to catch your breath. "if you could go faster.
"Jesus. You're perfect." His breath on your skin makes you flush again and then, the wonderful sensation you had felt moments before begins again.
"You're doing so well, love. So well."
Edmund begins to pick up his pace and you whine into his neck.
"Oh-" Edmund's fingers are suddenly on your clit, forcing your thighs to tighten around his. Your hips rock into his as you feel yourself begin to near your high. With his fingers on your clit, his bruising grip on your thighs, and his fucking dick inside of you, it takes only a few more seconds before you are releasing around him. Edmund moans after feeling you squeeze around him and it's the sexiest thing you've ever heard.
"You're so fucking perfect."
He releases soon after and he catches his breath.
He pulls away, looking at your face.
"Are you ok?" You smile.
Despite his asshole actions of the past 24 hours, Edmund does truly care about you. He's always taken care of you. He always made sure you had dinner, would always cover you with a blanket if you had fallen asleep upstairs, always made you tea and soup when you were sick.
"I'm perfectly fine." You grin at him.
You remember all of his comments to you, all of the pet-names he's called you.
"Ed, how long? How long have you wanted this?" He grins back at you.
"My love it was you the moment Lucy brought you home to visit during Christmas."
"Edmund that was three years ago!" His smile grows.
He dips down to kiss you.
"I'm a patient man."
Wait i heart them
I hope that was enjoyable l o l.

ɢᴇᴛᴛɪɴɢ ʙᴀᴄᴋ ᴏɴ ʏᴏᴜʀ ꜰᴇᴇᴛ: 25 ᴅᴀʏꜱ ᴏꜰ ᴡʀɪᴛɪɴɢ [ᴘʀᴏᴍᴘᴛꜱ]
write a letter from the pov of your mc. to a loved one, or their enemy, or their future self. one letter, however long or short it will be.
if your mc owned a home in the modern-day world, what would it look like? describe the rooms, who lives there, the smells and tastes and feelings.
your mc plans the *perfect* night out with someone they love. lead us through it.
describe your mc's happiest memory.
in return, describe a memory that put them through it.
suddenly there's television (or something akin to) in whatever world it takes place in—fantasy, sci-fi, dystopia. what kinds of shows are on? what shows do your main cast like to watch? what modern-day actors would play as the shows' characters?
look for a part of your wip that you struggled with—or begin a new page if you haven't begun it yet. write at least one line. write one more. delete it all, and start over. write the same scene (a scene lasts until a character leaves or enters) until you are proud. you wrote this. you should be. take as long as you need.
curate a playlist: one song for every character introduced.
make a theme for your wip. [theme = idea + opinion] the theme of Sleeping Beauty could be true love conquers all.
[take a break. you deserve it.]
write a letter from the main antagonist complaining about the protagonist.
take the first chapter of your wip, but as the mc's enemy.
all your main and side characters (evil ones included) joined a therapy group (they probably needed it, didn't they). write out the discussion in the form of a movie script.
the protagonist and antagonist sit down and have a heart-to-heart. what do they discuss? what do they confess?
you're now a—specifically—gen z blogger commenting on the actions of your characters, in any chapter you like.
write yourself into one chapter of your book. how would you face the terrifying evil, or manipulative politics? not your mc—you.
plop your characters into a whole other genre. they're sci-fi alien slayers? well, guess who's the new Sherlock Holmes. the kings and queens of Narnia? add a bit of a coming-of-age love crisis.
pick two characters. any two: pull them out of a jar, spin a wheel, I don't care. make a Venn diagram with them on either side.
pick your mc and make a bullet list of thirty things they've probably achieved in an au. skydiving world record? ultimate frisbee world champion? most books read within a span of 24h? it's up to you.
[rest. you're almost there.]
set a timer for ten minutes. in those five minutes, write out the death scene of an important character—whether of old age or to be clicked into the storyline later.
edit your work. find common errors and ask someone to proofread. you can use websites such as Hemingway Editor.
go on picrew (or any other website) and make your characters.
take a chapter or chunk of text you're unsatisfied with, and rewrite it completely from memory. this will leave the important parts and help sharpen the words. do this as many times as you like until you're satisfied.
set a timer for ninety minutes. pick up where you left off, and write as much as you can—screw the plot line, trash grammar, ignore sense. it's only a draft, and it can only get better.
if you decide to post anything, feel free to tag me in them!
you've got this.

cair paraval
caspian x reader / no pronouns used / not rq
warnings: a couple swears, physical touch (as in not 18+ but still), mention of the word 'dress' but you can interpret that as any type of dress really
summary: you decide to reminisce on a select few memories of the beach at cair paraval in your room, one morning.
genre: yes it is fluffy but there's some slow burn/yearning thing going on, allusion to a modern!au in narnia, although u can assume it’s the same
notes: cyberball comeback! *crickets* anyway this is my highest word count thus far. ben barnes is actually fatal cuz now I'm obsessed with a character from my CHILDHOOD who I completely forgot even existed. alas, here we are, because caspian is a very very close second to Leo valdez, and I'm head over heels for that man. all this is to say, this will probably not be the last caspian fic and who knows, maybe I'll figure sth out for peter n ed as well!!! anyway enjoy i hope u like it

11:45 AM
The spring breeze brushes against your face, and your eyes close in appreciation. From your balcony, the beach of Cair Paraval looks stunning; clear blue waters and a high tide to match. You let your thoughts linger on all the nights you’ve spent on said beach with a certain king of Narnia. You almost get up to try to find him, but you sit back down, realizing he must be busy. Your memories will have to sustain you for now.
4:23 AM – 1 month ago
Caspian’s hand came up to brush his hair out of his face for what seemed like the hundredth time that night – the sea breeze was relentless. You silently laughed at his efforts, as he leaned back into you, having given up on trying to tame his hair. His tall frame had somehow managed to sit snugly in between your legs, Caspian’s head resting on your chest. You were leaning against an enormous oak tree, the leaves swaying in tandem with the wind.
“Get up, you big goof,” you said, rolling your nightshirt’s sleeves up, determined to help him with his hair. He looked back at you for just a second before obeying your command. You loved his hair either way but you could tell it was annoying him right about now.
“What, you don’t like the unruly look my hair has taken on?” He asked, sitting up properly. You shook your head in amusement and looked away under his glance, pretending to look around for the clip you always kept on you, in case a predicament like this arose.
You gathered a little of his hair and tied it in place with the clip, letting a few pieces in the front fall out. The half-up-half-down look was his and your favorite.
He rested his head back onto your shoulder, looking ahead, the two of you still sitting. You had a ritual wherein you took one night each week to watch the sunrise. Now, even as the sun slowly woke up, the Narnian night sky glittered with tens of stars, and you wished you could look into his eyes. The black always reflected the light perfectly.
You two had been dating for about 2 weeks now. Caspian was your best friend and the person you trusted the most. Back when all you could think of on nights like these was your imagination of what it would feel like to have his lips against yours, looking into his eyes was a gesture far too intimate for two friends to share.
But now that it was a reality, you moved him off your shoulder and moved forward, so now you were facing him. On instinct, he picked you up by your thighs and placed you on his lap. Giggling, you took his stubble-covered face in your hands. After staring into your eyes for a length of time most people would find uncomfortable, he looked up at the sky. And there it was; the sky condensed into his eyes. He looked back up at you, and you couldn’t help but kiss him. You wondered how you ever lived without knowing the taste of his lips.
5:09 PM – 3 months ago
The sun filtered through your hair as you managed to push through it. It was setting, and the horizon looked particularly capturing today; pink and orange clouds shielding its light. Speaking of the sun, unbeknownst to you, yours had come up behind the spot you had claimed on the sand. Placing a kiss on your head – and consequently making butterflies fly around in your stomach – Caspian took the place next to you, as he often did.
More often, he’d only made rare appearances in your solitude, as the mantle of being king had taken its toll on his free time. You had found yourself reminiscing on the time when every other free second you both had, you would spend with each other. You would train together as well, and while that hadn’t necessarily stopped, he had significantly less time to do so. So you missed it, and you missed the close contact, where you could pass off the hitched breaths and stuttering glances as something other than what they were.
Caspian was your best friend. Nothing more, although you found yourself coveting the same. You don’t quite remember when it changed; when the way you looked at him turned from friendly appreciation to lingering on his smile. You felt that maybe he felt the same when he’d make you laugh and then drink in your reaction; when you showed him a new dress and his gaze lingered on you for far more time than was needed to look at the dress; when, a few days ago, you were playing with his hair, as you often did, and he unabashedly stared at your lips; and even now, when he kissed your head and instinctually rested his hand on yours. His thumb caressed your palm, and you had to physically restrain yourself from melting onto the beach.
At least then you could be washed away with the sea. You could feel his gaze on you. “What, idiot?” You asked him, not turning to look at him, a playful smile playing on your lips. “That’s no way to address your king,” he replied smoothly with a smirk of his own. You wanted to wipe it right off his stupid, pretty face.
As happy as you were with his presence next to you, you didn’t forget how your getaways to the beach were much frequent just you now instead of you both. “Sorry, Your Majesty,” you muttered sarcastically. You winced as his face fell at your tone, immediately regretting your words, knowing how he literally had no time for anything other than his duties. You couldn’t be mad at him for that. He beat you to the apology, “I am sorry. I know I have seen you less and less these past few weeks, and it’s not an excuse, merely a reason, but my work as king has taken up most if not all my time. Regardless, I could have made time for you. Aslan knows you’re much more important to me than anything else,” he spoke the last words under his breath, but you caught them.
You both had talked about this before – how much you meant to each other – but every time he brought it up, your heart beat just a little bit faster. “Cas, don’t be sorry. I know you’re busy and it’s selfish of me to be mad at you for that. I’m sorry,” you replied, looking away. “You’re not being selfish. You’re the least selfish person I know. You’ve done nothing wrong here,” he said softly, pushing your hair behind your ears. A hue of red dusted your cheeks at the gesture and you smiled up at him, “It’s okay, Cas,” you assured him and noticed his eyes crinkling at the nickname, “Just promise to meet me whenever you can,” you said, playing with his fingers. “Yes, I know, I will use all my free time on you. You don’t have to tell me twice,” he says, a glint in his eyes. You laughed amusedly, “You’re a good king, you know,” and he searched your eyes for any sign of a lie. He didn’t find it, even behind your teasing tone. “Just because I dedicated my free time to you?” he questioned and you pretended to think, “Hmm… yes.” Laughing
, you rested your head on his shoulder. You were happy to have him, even if your affections could only be as intimate as best friends.
2:58 AM – 2 months ago
You had just made a particularly hilarious joke, and Caspian had been laughing about it for what seemed like ages. “My god, calm down,” you managed to say through your own laughter, and he silently brought his forehead down to your shoulder, his own shoulders shaking from laughter.
After finally calming down, he said, “Never do that again,” a smile still brilliant on his face, despite the dim moonlight filtering through the clouds. “What, never make you laugh again?” you grinned, sucking your teeth, “sounds like a challenge to me. I’m too funny,” you joked, running your hand through your hair. Out of the corner of your eyes, you saw Caspian roll his eyes at you, and you wordlessly shoved him for it.
“That cloud looks like your hair in the morning,” you pointed out, gesturing to a cloud by the sea line. Caspian looked at you with an unamused face, “Ha-ha. Very funny,” he replied deadpan, but a grin eventually broke out on his face.
A long, comfortable silence stretched out between the two of you. You carefully rested your head on his shoulder and tried to take this for what it was: two friends enjoying each other’s company, and not letting your thoughts wander to a hope where maybe, someday, you could be more than that. Because it could never be. Caspian did a great job of reminding you of the fact when he piped up, “Today was sort of terrible,” and in response, you looked up at him through your lashes, beckoning him to continue. “The court is back at it with the marriage proposals and potential alliances,” he explained, and your heart dropped.
Oh. “Any of the potential matches interest you?” you questioned, silently hoping the answer was no. Regardless, you braced yourself for the impact, but he replied, very softly, might one add, “No,” and ran a hand through his hair. “Really?” you asked in an unamused tone, “none of them?” you were a tad bit eager to know his true feelings. So he pointed it out, “Desperate, are we? Why do you want to see me married off so quickly?” he asked, a smirk playing on his annoyingly pretty face. There was a sort of desperation in his eyes that you didn’t quite catch, however.
“Of course not, Your Highness,” you teased, “Curse me for wanting to see my king happy,” and rolled your eyes. “And anyway, it’s quite the opposite,” you muttered under your breath, sure that he wouldn’t hear it, but he did.
Fuck. He understood what you meant by it as well; he always did, and now he looked at you with something newfound in his eyes. Shit.
Silence. Why wasn’t he saying anything?
“That is the last thing that would make me happy,” he finally spoke, and you silently sent up a prayer to whichever god let him ignore whatever you had said.
“And what would?” you asked, a teasing tone in your voice, but you both knew you genuinely wanted to know. Were you a possibility?
He didn’t reply. You chuckled softly and slightly shoved him, “What? I asked you something,” you said, still giggling. Your laughter had brought a smile to his face and you wanted to evaporate.
He took one of your hands and started absentmindedly playing with your fingers, as he often did. “I just… it’s a little funny to me how many times I’ve asked you that same question and you’ve not responded,” he confessed, black eyes staring you down, and then moving away when you hesitated in responding. “We tell each other everything,” a pause, “Right?” he asked, and hundreds of unsaid feelings poured into the small gap between you two, which he was slowly but surely closing. All the while his hands were still on yours, and you wondered if this was it. The day you finally get to call him yours, or the day you part ways.
“Caspian…” was all you managed, a little choked. Had his face always been so close to yours? You swore you could feel the beat of his eyelashes on your face, which was no doubt painted deep red right about now. It didn’t matter, because so was his.
You never knew eyes could speak like this – albeit, Caspian’s had always been able to, but never to this degree – begging, desperation, and hope, all in just two pupils. You literally were choked now; words had left you. You always told him, in matters of romance, you would never be able to make the first move. He had always laughed at that, the irony of you being such a bold and fearless person, yet being afraid of showing vulnerability like this. Although he himself could never chide you about that; both of you knew his stubbornness, especially in affairs of the heart.
He was not a daft man. A little oblivious, sure, but he knew the way you looked at him. You hadn’t tried to hide it either; in some masochistic way, even though you had your doubts about his feelings, you still wore yours on your face. You regretted it sometimes, when if he ended up listening to his court one day, then you would feel like a fool for putting your heart out on the line.
But so had he. Later on, you would realize that you were much more oblivious than him. He had half the decency to never completely assume that you were interested in him romantically, but he knew you. And you knew him.
So it made sense now to you. His lingering glances, especially those on your lips; the forehead kisses, which he had started a long time ago before you thought of him this way – however, they had grown much more frequent and much less chaste; and, oh. The words he said to you just a couple of days ago, lounging in his bed, your head in his lap, when you had joked about him being in love with you, “I’m not going to deny it.” You knew when he was joking. This was not such an instance, even though, immediately after, he tried to play it off as such. You knew it. Why hadn’t you said something?
Your name fell from his lips now, once more, a silent plea.
His lips ghosted over yours once more. You closed your eyes briefly, as you did when in a predicament, and exhaled hard.
Caspian sent up a prayer to whichever god would take it and made to connect your lips. You met him halfway.
You remember the first kiss like the back of your hand. You just about whimpered when his taste reached your tongue; the taste of the chocolate you both had snuck just a few minutes earlier was fresh on his lips. His rather large hands steadied you by your waist, and you still felt like crumbling by his touch.
A few seconds later, you pulled away reluctantly, out of breath. His eyes slowly fluttered open and his face was redder than you had ever seen it. You grinned and pecked his lips once more, and he felt your smile on him. It wasn’t a feeling he thought he’d ever experience.
Giddy, he mirrored your smile and kissed you harder than the last time.
“I knew you had a thing for me,” you said, right after he pulled away, breathless and smiling. “I’m not going to deny it,” he gloated, and you rested your forehead on his shoulder, laughing.
You were going to deal with the court some other day. It was just you and him right now.
11:56 AM – Present time
“Enjoying the weather, my love?” Caspian’s voice sounds out as his arms wrap around your torso. You slightly crane your head to look at him, shamelessly staring at his frame; simple white button-up, black pants. A rather handsome look on him.
“Your pick-up lines have always been terrible,” you remark, turning your head back around, a smirk on your face.
“And yet you were just checking me out,” he shoots back, resting his chin on the top of your head. You roll your eyes in response. “Checkmate?” he teases.
“Whatever. You can hardly blame me when you look this good,” you respond smoothly, turning around to face him while raising a hand to play with the ends of his hair.
“Have you seen yourself?” he says comfortably. His hands are resting easy on your hips and his gaze is on you, focused like you hung the stars in the sky. He always looks at you like this.
You shake your head, silently laughing, and crane your head to look out at the waters. It’s true that no one loves the sea quite like Caspian does, but that’s the very reason you appreciate it. His eyes light up when he talks of his adventures and voyages. Interestingly enough, there have only been two instances when the joie de vivre shines in his eyes; once when he thinks of the sea, and twice when he thinks of you. You’ve noticed it. The thought gets you giddy each time.
There’s a comfortable silence between the two of you. He places a kiss on your head and leans down to kiss your lips. Every time he does, it feels like the first time. Your eyes flutter close, and you notice something more in the way his lips move against yours. A message.
And then you realize.
Three words.
He pulls away, exhaling softly. A pause.
“I love you,” he says, your name on his lips like it always belonged there.
You waste no time. “I love you too, Caspian,” and he grins.
You mean it. And Aslan knows he means it too.

Happy ending Casmund au: Caspian is always introduced as a friend of the family. and he is. But anyone with brains can tell by the way Edmund and Caspian look at each other. Lol imagine a dinner between the Pevensies and Eustace and his family. The shock on Eustace face that he has to hide.
Eustace: I saw you die! Of old age on your death bed!
Caspian playfully: I got better.
"I got better" askdfl I am laughing so hard.
Also the Scrubbs are described as very modern people, in a boring, fad-ish kind of way, and while this makes them not believe in things like magic or reading fantasy books, I like to think they'd also have pretty progressive beliefs about being gay. So Aunt Alberta and Uncle Harold clock right away that Edmund and Caspian are together and have no problem with it. But they'd never imagine he came from another world. That's ridiculous.
Eustace, meanwhile, also sees instantly that they're together and is just blindsided, because his first time in Narnia he was so young and so busy being miserable that any sort of romance just went right over his head.
Lucy: Eustace... They were like that the entire time on the Dawn Treader. You didn't notice them constantly making eyes at each other?
Edmund: we didn't do anything of the sort!
Eustace, going over his memories with fresh eyes: OH MY GOD YOU DID

Fanfic Update
Posted Chapter 4! Here it is:
Excerpt
“I think he has a higher plan. But I think you shouldn’t behave the way that you think Aslan wants you to, Caspian,” Peter says. “You have to be a man in your own right. You do what’s good for you. I think- Lucy’s had this problem as well, she always expects Aslan to get things sorted. You’re the king, you get it sorted.” “I do not... I’m a fraud, Peter. I do not know how to get things sorted,” Caspian murmurs. He barely seems to be recognising Peter’s presence in the room, more like he’s talking to thin air. “I have changed a lot in Narnia, but it is all good luck. It is all just me being nice and trying my best... rebuilding Cair Paravel, making peace with everybody... perhaps I am too soft to be king. I need everybody to like me. Growing up... well. You needn’t know.” Caspian finally turns to look at Peter, his eyes a little wet from unshed tears. “I wish I was like you.”

Out-of-Fandom Longfic Recs
Looking for something good that you can sink your teeth into? Not necessarily LoZ? I can recommend some masterpieces and favorites. :) all these are complete!
Harry Potter and the Problem of Potions by Wyste. 180k. Yes yes HP I know. It was still a formative part of my adolescence and this is just fanfiction. Very satisfying fanfiction, in which Harry becomes a real character who desperately wants to be a potion master despite Snape's every attempt to dissuade him. Lots of fun.
Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality by LessWrong. 661k. Longest thing on this list but HOO BOY is it worth it. Written by a guy to teach people about... well. Methods of rationality. Applies the scientific method to the HP-verse, makes Voldemort actually smart, and is a lot of fun the whole way through. You can read on FFN or by downloading an epub or PDF. At least try the first chapter I am BEGGING YOU.
The Dragon-King's Temple by Kryal. Avatar: the Last Airbender (show) & Stargate SG-1, 200k. I knew nothing about SG-1 going in, had only seen the movie, and really enjoyed this. Once again, the worldbuilding and the mystery are very very good. Like legitimately. Zuko & Toph focus!
Thrower of the Dart by Vathara. Avengers & Artemis Fowl (books) crossover, 100k. Picks up after the first Avengers movie and AF book 5 (the demon one.) Very nice plot, good character interactions, fun worldbuilding, mostly in the AF side.
let the shadows fall behind you by Sweetbriar15. Disney's Descendants (just the first one), 155k. Did you ever feel like the movie was a bit of a waste of a good story premise? This will help. Picks up after modifying the end of the first movie, introduces a lot of awesome character and worldbuilding information. Mal-focused, but not too heavily.
Phantom of Truth by Haiju. Danny Phantom, 58k. DP is full of whump fics, and this is probably one of the very best. Its sequel, Shadow of a Doubt, has stopped updating on AO3, but it should still be on FFN. SoaD is, iirc, 100k+, and quite good, dealing with the aftermath of the first.
Bandits and Bravery by LettdViolet. Fire Emblem: Three Houses, 28k. Linhardt/M!Byleth, modern college AU, the events of the game are played out by a group playing knockoff D&D. Themes of grief and mourning a parent's death, and finding comfort. Linhardt is like a sleepy version of Vio without as much evil. Shortest on this list but I LIKE IT OKAY
Carpetbaggers by cofax. Chronicles of Narnia, 120k. Fills in some of the time post-LWW with adventures and working on gaining trust. Feels a lot like a continuation of the book, though without the heavy-handed allegory.
