Sayyidi Younus AlGohar explains the two types of sainthood and the differences between the Sufi Orders.

Summary:

- There are two types of sainthood: Faqr-e-Bakamaliyat and Faqr-e-Bakaram. Faqr-e-Bakamaliyat begins with Zikar-e-Qalb (The Opening of the Spiritual Heart) and culminates in Deedar-e-Ilahi (Witnessing the Divine Splendour). Those who reach Deedar-e-Ilahi are in Wilayat-e-Uzma; those who do not progress further than Zikar-e-Qalb are in Wilayat-e-Sughra.

- The Qadri and Chishti Sufi Orders have the concept of the seven subtleties in the body. The Naqshbandi Sufi Order do not recognise the Subtlety of Ana (in the forehead), therefore, no Naqshbandi ever managed to reach Deedar-e-Ilahi including Mujaddid Alif Thani.

- Faqr-e-Bakaram is a system of honorary sainthood set up by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) to handle the affairs of his Nation. In every era, a panel of 360 such saints is appointed. The leader of these saints is the Ghous-ul-Zama, under whom are the Qutb, Abrar, etc. Only the Ghous-ul-Zama has Zikar-e-Qalb. None of the saints of Faqr-e-Bakaram comes under the divine theophanies or reaches Deedar-e-Ilahi.

- We do not belong to any Sufi Order. Rather, we were blessed by His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi.

‘For whosoever I am Moula, Ali is also their Moula.’ - Prophetic Tradition

- The Naqshbandi Sufi Order traces its roots to Abu Bakr Sadiq, who is the Chief of Sharia in the Muslim Nation. The Chishti Sufi Order’s ancestral roots go back to Moula Ali who is an expert in Tariqa (Spirituality). The Qadri Sufi Order was founded by Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (Ghous Pak/Ghous-e-Azam); he revived the spiritual system of Islam in his era. Ghous Pak taught Sharia and Tariqa together and he even taught people how to reach the Station of Wasl (Divine Union) after Deedar-e-Ilahi. The Qadri Sufi Order is known in Sufi circles as the greatest Sufi Order.

- Some followers of Mujaddid Alif Thani failed to accept the eminence of Ghous Pak, so Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) expelled them from the Muslim Nation. This was when two different branches of Naqshbandis formed: the Aaliya Naqshbandi Order and the Mujaddidiya/Saifia Naqshbandi Order. Mujaddidiya/Saifi Order originates from those expelled from the Muslim Nation.

Nothing Really Exists!

Is it possible for an ant to understand a bee? Is it possible for a cat to understand a dog? If a cat isn't a dog, he cannot know the real position of a dog. A dog will understand a dog, a cat will understand a cat. Everyone understands their own level. An ant cannot understand a man. All it knows, is that if it lands under the foot of a man, it will be finished. It knows we are a great creature which moves, but it cannot give any description.

Only a man can know about another man. A man cannot even know about a woman, just like a woman cannot know 100% about a man, because they are fully different beings. So how could it be possible for mankind to understand the Creator? Only another creator could do that. But there cannot be two creators, it is impossible. The greatness of the Creator is that He knows everything, every detail of His creatures.

One divided by infinity is zero. That means nothing is in existence. Every part of your body can be divided to the point of zero. Infinity multiplied by zero is zero. What we are seeing is in reality nothing, shadows. You look into the mirror and you think it is you, but in reality it is just your image, your shadow. Every part which is in existence can come to a point where it cannot be divided anymore.

The Creator in His endless Oceans of Wisdom and His Will creates countless universes, worlds, servants, creatures and kinds of creatures. He calls them, "Come into existence!" and they appear. If He tells them to go, they will disappear in His endless oceans. No-one can refuse His Will. Man must know that they are nothing. When they admit this, they will lose the pride which prevents them to be in the service of the Lord.

People do not even have the most simplest knowledge about the Creator today, even though they do not even have any real existence! That in the mirror is not you! A photograph doesn't exist, even if it looks like it.

Everything you see is an image: nothing!

On the Night Journey Allah said to his beloved servant, "I will make you a mirror of me!" This is why we are saying, "La illaha illa'Llah, Muhammadur Rasul Allah!"

A television would be nothing without a screen, without it nothing can be seen. If you would change the material of the screen it also would not show. In the same way. Muhammad peace be upon him is the only one who can serve this purpose. Without his creation nothing could be in existence. In the coming years of the second millennium such real realities of the Lord Almighty Allah will appear.

This is like a feast where the elephant who comes would take its provision, just like the ant would. This is a power station and everyone who comes here will take their share, whether they are aware of it, or not.

The Ultimate Goal of Worship is to eliminate yourself from the self.

Once Abu Yazid was asked about acts of worship and devotion of two different categories: those indicated by the example of the Holy Prophet (peace upon him) (Sunnah) and those made obligatory through divine revelation (fard).

He said, “Sunnah is the abandonment of worldliness

and fard is the abandonment of all but He alone.”

So many people claim to follow the Sunnah but their hearts are awash in love of worldly pomp. As for what is obligatory, fard (usually understood as the minimum acceptable level of religious observance), Abu Yazid has penetrated to the heart of the matter, saying total surrender is the ends to which all the means (acts of worship) are truly directed. Obligatory also, because at the time of death all must leave behind everything besides Him, whether they are ready to do so or not.
