Hmm, a random thing I've been thinking about lately: I really like the idea of Jemima and Victoria being condensed to one character! I'm not sure how feasible it would be, since finding someone who's both a strong enough singer and a strong enough dancer would probably be difficult— but if ever another filmed version of the stage play were to happen, or a (good) live-action movie, and I had creative control I would make it my job to find that person lmao.

Their roles in the story are very similar imo— both are kittens who are emphasized to be "innocent" that stand out as the only ones to approach Grizabella with kindness and curiosity. I like them both but it feels kind of scattered to have that spread between two characters, and it would have a greater emotional effect if their interactions with Grizabella were confined to one kitten. Like, for example when Jemima sings during "Memory" and Grizabella seems to draw strength from her and finishes the song...and then right after when Grizabella's solo is over Victoria is the first to touch Grizabella's hand and accept her back into the fold. Idk, I just feel like it'd be way better/more powerful if both those significant moments were with the same kitten!

(Also in some metaphorical universe where I do get to enact this change I'd keep Victoria's design, since the white stands out. I adore Jemima and her design, though, and wouldn't want to cut her completely so she'd become ensemble.)
