For the QSMP Lion King AU

Hope I did the backgrounds justice - this movie was my first hyperfixation from when I was tiny and the first piece of media I remember drawing fanart for.

Any constructive advice for drawing the Brazilians or the French is welcome❤️ I had a Tumblr post that had good info but I can't find it. I tried my best based on other fanart (love Baghera's pink hair design)

Also trying out a new Tallulah design! I took inspo from her current mushroom head and made a purple color scheme with a mushroom theme (I'm keeping her brown hair because that's how I see her character). Also trading the dragon wings for lil bird ones to better tie back to Phil. I think this is what I'm gonna stick with, maybe modify it slightly but same concept.

So I thought I'd make a fun little post about all of the original thoughts about my OCs when I created them that aren't part of their character/background now.

Y'all already know I contemplated having Stone being 6'8" & Kali at 6'6". (Someone tell me not to change their heights around, because I'm really seriously contemplating it and you know I don't have much restraint.)

Sarabi was originally single when he first appeared in my mind, but I just had him married to Kevin when writing "Survivor's Guilt/Blood-stained Hands" because I had originally thought I wasn't going to make the rest of The Lions actual OCs.

Simba was originally going to be younger than Nala, hence why I sometimes write him as a little more childish (I guess is the right term) than how Nala acts.

Ladder came to creation when I was daydreaming about 6'8" Stone and so she was originally going to be 4'8", which is the minimum height for women in the Navy. It was supposed to her and Stone being the on opposite sides of the height range for soldiers in the Navy and I probably would've kept her at 4'8" if Stone had been 6'8" at the time.

Heartthrob was actually originally a Sergeant (don't know if anyone remembers me talking about The Tigers originally) and he was originally two years younger than Sarabi, Kali, & Stone. I changed it because I really do see Stone as someone for goes for his age or older and not anyone younger (even if there's only a two-year difference).

I contemplated making Hellstorm a base librarian. I had no idea what the hell his job in the military was going to be until I made the character introduction post for the High School Teacher AU (I still haven't finished the first part of that AU, RIP) and wrote him being a retired naval aviator (they're all retired soldiers in that AU).

Cerberus was originally going to Manish Joshi-Kaur (Stone's half-brother) and it was going to be like "Oh everyone thought he was deceased, but he was actually held in captivity and just presumed to be dead." But I changed it because with the way the timeline matched up with when all of Stone's half-siblings were born, Manish would've been the same age as Ladder & Cerberus was originally used to be eventually romantically with Simba.

This made me realize that I still have yet to post Cerberus' basic info post and so y'all don't even know he's the same age as Simba or that Cerberus isn't Manish Joshi-Kaur, but whatever. I'm holding onto that post until Sarabi's birthday post that's coming in two days.

I HAVE A THEORY FOR PROJECT NECROMANCER.. (s3 spoilers for tbb!)

In the third episode of season 3, we’re introduced to project necromancer.

(This room is sick as fuck also like what)

Now, in the middle, I’m pretty sure it was a Bacta tank or a growth tank. Now this could either be a specimen (an animal or somethin) or, could be a clone.

This could mean two things.

One (and the one I wish for desperately because I can’t cope), this could be tech. They possibly recovered his body, and now he’s just in a bacta tank.

Or.

This mystery commando is possibly the one who is growing in this tank. They could be the ‘specimen’ that project necromancer is. They could’ve made another clone, or just be the theory that this clone is tech, but I don’t see how the mystery commando could be tech, but I could be wrong. This commando seems to have a little sniper thingy like crosshair did. Or, we could just be having crosshair imperial part 2, who knows.

Romanas is forever thankful to Simba for getting him to a quiet room (Hazzard manifests there because he can't leave Romanas with a "stranger")

Void and Selga are clinging to Kali because it's loud and a car honked too loud too close and startled them (god help Kali with Selgas finger strength the bruises on Kali will be astronomical from how hard Selga grips him)

I don't know why but Simba is like "I want to flirt with this man" when I was thinking about him and Romanas. I'm sorry for shipping my OC with yours, it's just what he's most prominently thinking right now. It's like:

Simba, ignoring Hazzard's distrust of him because he sees how well Romanas does with his squad: So, Romanas, how do you feel about actual kids?

Man just wants to settle down with someone who will love Ashton like he's their own son and not just Simba's son.

Anyways Nala would definitely hold Diana's hand so she wouldn't get lost, it's the dad in him. (It's so funny to remember that Nala started out as the dad friend in the squad but Kali's dad energy is more prominent despite Kali being one of the two soldiers in the squad who doesn't have any kids.)

Kali would let Selga and Void cling onto him, calm them both down. Meanwhile Sarabi is like "I thought I was Selga's safe space." It's okay Sarabi, I'm sure Selga still likes you.

Oh my boy. Best boy, even 🧸 A headcanon about their childhood- Dad would let him sit by the forge and watch him work while he told stories, he picked up a lot about the skill from a younger age; he's a good learner but it helped that he was interested in the trade to begin with. Keeping those tales in mind in the forbidden forest, they went a ways toward Aidan's being able to survive at all when he first ran away.

By his early teen years(this is getting abit off topic) he became directly involved with handling outside business affairs(which lead to them eventually trusting him with all their funds), to lighten the load, since Dad had to work at the forge and Mom wasn't as spry as she had once been. Mother used to accompany him to show him the ropes of it but eventually ended up leaving him to it altogether, again, not being able to get around as well anymore.

💝 A headcanon about their love language- Physical touch. After Annika's brush with death, hearing her heartbeat or feeling the warmth when he grabs her hand or hugs her helps remind him that she is Alive and Okay.

🌟 A headcanon about their desires/wishes- He wants to do right by his family, this desire is what pushed him into trying to help out with the business and, ultimately, was his motive behind the gambling. He ends up overcompensating a bit out of guilt when he does return and Dad has to remind him that Hey Come On I Said It Was Okay.
