I feel it again.

Sometimes when you're on a journey you have the presence to realize you are in a special moment. Such was the case for me and this sunrise. Of the places I would see on this trip, this was the highlight. Maybe that's because it was what I had most hoped and looked forward to. Perhaps it was because just an hour earlier it didn't seem like it would be so beautiful. But whatever the reason, I was elated, ecstatic as the sun came up. And though I was certainly clicking away capturing the moment, I was also just enjoying the view. Perhaps it's a nice thing that sunrises can linger sometimes. It was pretty much all I could hope for. This is of course Bryce Canyon National Park's main amphitheater as seen from along the rim trail just west of sunset point. The formations below are mesmerizing. You can spend an hour, you can spend a week, you can spend as long as you can afford enjoying this part and the rest of the park. Maybe I'm just overly enamored by it, but I still think it's my favorite National Park of all that I've been to (which is most of them in the west and many beyond). . Jan 2021 . I can't believe it's been a year now since I visited Ketchikan, Alaska. Ketchikan is known for fishing (Salmon), bears, the Misty Fjords, and most certainly totem poles.
