Maybe meeting in the park in the middle of the night had been a weird idea, but Mari was of the opinion that if a tree was stolen under the cover of darkness, then the cover of darkness might be helpful when planting trees to replace the one that had been taken. She could have just trusted that Dmitri would plant the three trees she’d told him to plant to replace the one he’d cut down for Christmas, and that was exactly what she’d done for the first two - but seeing as this was the last one, she wanted to be here for it. She got there early, so it was several minutes before she caught sight of Dmitri. “There you are! Ready to do this?”

Steffi was in her living room, looking around for anything she might have forgotten to pack when she heard a knock on the door, pulling her out of her thoughts. She frowned, wondering who might be there - she certainly wasn’t expecting anyone, so the options that came to mind were mostly unpleasant. Sighing, she made her way over, walking around the luggage she’d neatly stacked by the door to take a look through the peephole. Caroline? That was a surprise. She opened the door, expression impassive - she didn’t know what had driven her ex to show up here unprompted, and she certainly wasn’t going to display any sort of emotion until she knew how she should be feeling about this development. “Can I help you?”

When he’d heard that Isobel applied at Dew Drops of all places, Mike been thrilled - work was fine and all, but having his cousin there was sure to make it more fun. That, and it was a built in chance to make up for lost time after having been absent for the first two decades of their life and then some. Not to mention being a great chance for him to share his cousinly wisdom, even if it was more juice-focused than it would have been outside of a work environment.

After taking a customer’s order, he glanced back at Isobel, who was on blender duty. They seemed to be doing a pretty great job, except - “Oh, hold up! You’re gonna want to push down harder on the lid. Donatello doesn’t like to keep his top on once you get him blending,” he advised. Had he given the blenders names? Maybe.

Currently between apartments as he was, there wasn’t much Daniel could do to bring a personal touch to the room at Xenia Inn that he was calling home for the time being. Still, he reckoned a bouquet of flowers would do wonders - and so he headed on over to Gatzunis’ Growings. It really was high time he paid the owners a visit anyway, after the events that had led to him being freed from purgatory. He wondered vaguely who he might see when he got there - and while it didn’t come as a disappointment to see Ezra the moment he stepped inside, this was certainly the most awkward of the options. “Oh! Hello,” he greeted politely. He didn’t see anyone else in the shop, so now seemed as good a time as any to say what was on his mind. “I, erm - I saw what happened, the other week at the masquerade. I’m sorry I didn’t have the chance to stop by earlier, but I - I wanted to offer my condolences. I hope you’re holding up alright - if there’s anything I can do to help let me know, yeah?”

Tori is not at all good at learning from her past mistakes. She’ll do the same thing over and over again, and it won’t really sink in that something is wrong. She’s trying- really- but not very hard. This woman has been fired twice a year since she started working full-time, so I imagine this is not surprising information, alas.

I was home-schooled for most of my life, so I don’t think that was a possibility? But I almost failed this college class for Rizal, though, mainly because I skipped most of the classes and only really showed up for the exams. Really, how does knowing about our National hero’s ex-lovers benefit my education whatsoever? Fortunately, my professor hated the guy too, so she settled for letting me do a 10-minute stand-up comedy in front of the whole class for extra credit as to why I hated him so much.
