What the Ao3 situation should mean for me rn: I am now able to focus solely on my Bachelors thesis which should be done by the end of this week :)
What it actually means: I now am hyperfocusing on the wrong thing and opening and refreshing tumblr constantly to see updates from Ao3org and to feed my suddenly very deprived brain with Tarlos fandom content bc I haven’t had my morning fix :)
So, it has been a week now, and guess what, girls? I'm a certified historian now! I've passed my PhD, and I'm officially a specialist of the Merovingian royal women and frankish polygyny 😍😍😍
Synopsis: “Meredith and Noah were so close until one night. One haunting phone call on a boat and then Noah was gone. A year has passed and monsters have mysteriously risen from the depths of the sea. Meredith thought Noah was long dead until she went on an exhibition on the boat where she last saw Noah.”
my thesis for my Media Studies major.
This was based off a short story I wrote.

Always wanted to post this here but never got around to it because it was too big, so here's an edited version. I hope this film will bring awareness and be something that will make people feel not alone in their struggle and hopefully foster open communication.
Vijay Balasubramanian has some very nice ideas. His polymath-approach makes me really happy. I love how he bounces back and forth between physics, mathematics and neuroscience.
Also, a lot of my "information weaving/non-linear progression in dynamical information geometry" stuff is very similar to the rough idea I got after reading the article... and also the other bunches of concepts I have laying around, idling in my mind, waiting to be harvested as expressed theoretical bullshittery. 😬 /uninterpretable uncomfortably grinning emoji/
I started writing my thesis with the methods of translation used in The Witcher video games between the Polish and the Enlgish version and I’m finishing it with writing about Polish żurawiejki written for Polish Army, like, two centuries ago... IDK where I’m going but it’s fuuuuuuuuuuun anyway lol
I’m still amazed by the fact that we are litteraly not over the argument saying that if Charlemagne’s daughters had lived in concubinage, it was solely because their dad was kind and turned a blind eye towards them because they were just politically irrelevant, so... why bothering with their lives? 🤷♀️
And it’s not just totally inaccurate, but it also shows that people keep being unable to understand the importance of royal or imperial daughters as human beings and existing on their own. We speak about a group of seven women who litteraly lived for decades near their father, participated in his curial life, in banquets, had relationships with dignitaries and supported some of their brothers in their political pretentions, sometimes at their own personal risks, but no... They were just some daddy’s girls and the fact that they chose partners and had children with them does not seem important to historians...
