I need someone to tell about this since I basically use different scenarios with this to fall asleep every night: Alright so say at the point in Giles' life where he goes to the Watcher's council after putting all the dark magic stuff behind him and is getting his life together, whatever. He meets this fellow Watcher and he's like ".......👀" against his better judgement and she's like "👀" and they start chatting you know~. Everything's going great and Giles is like :) but GASP homegirl is like real deep into dark magic and gets expelled from the council. A bit after that, he goes out and sees her and you know how people make bad decisions when they like someone// ANYWAY fast forward to the current show timeframe and this girl shows up in Sunnydale and she tracks him down and "Hey so, your my dad. Surprise. Wrap it when you tap it is a good motto especially when you one night stand that dark magic lady. Oh btw, she's dead now, did too much of that. So, how's your day been?" And Giles is breaking down at this point because what the hell. I like to imagine the daughter is really put together and sensible as opposed to the CHAOS that is Sunnydale. Has a boyfriend and a cat and Giles is REALLY TRYING TO COMPUTE THIS while she's just there and collected. Really talented with magic, has really good control over it and wouldn't it have been so nice if Willow had a mentor close to her age that was genuinely understanding about magic addiction and the pros and cons of all magic since hey; the daughter obviously watched her mom do her shit for like 20 something years before she croaked. Everyone's big sister. I'm actually a sucker for random kids popping up I like the drama. Thanks for reading my ramble I would like it made into a full season - 🏜

Oh my god this is the best !!! I love hearing other people’s scenarios they’re so much fun - plus this is a fully formed fic right here I could see it as I read it !! you should totally write it down !! I would definitely read it lol

Also: Willow deserved a calm and nurturing mentor bless her! And I love the idea that the kid is this put together life going smoothly type when she comes from and is surrounded by so much chaos
