i have many self-ships, actually!! tho i'm a bit confused by what constitutes one because... i basically ship myself with everyone LOL. and i know some people have very developed backstories for their selfship worlds... i wouldn't say i have one specific "canon" for each character + i's setup... but rather i pick whatever scenario i'm enjoying at the moment and then apply it to them and do that as needed. probs cuz it changes so often and always has.

Most of the time this past year it's been bakugo (what a surprise), so i would say he's def my top self ship??? but honestly whenever i'm thinking of anything for any character, whether it's suggested by u guys or not, i'm absolutely brainrotting for them, too. i mentioned this ages ago on IHB, but for the longest time i actually liked everyone in mha pretty equally, so i lowkey still do

(its fine bc im so busy rn, but sometimes im sad that we don't have more convos about other characters)

anyway, it's kind of an inside joke with myself LOL but i always joke it's like rick + morty in my mind bc i always think of my selfships as alternate universes that are all happening at the same time... so if i'm thinking about one au of assassin bakugo and another about having kids w/ him............ they're both equally valid. or like, if im thinking about being married to kiri, that's a different caitie than the caitie married to bakugo LMAO but still me🙆🏼‍♀️

honestly... not so much recently bc i've really been going thru it w/ my writing, but i feel like i do a good job of talking to u guys about all the stuff i wanna! i've honestly been self inserting so long that turning my ideas into inserts is actually very easy for me, plus, since i LOVE and enjoy writing second person, i don't have any issues with stuff being relatable to me personally. it just always is (for the most part).

besides, tho there's definitely a couple things i wish i could bring up, like plans i have for longer things im too scared to start (which are absolutely author-inserts), they're so deeply personal that i really can't even figure out how to make them appealing LOL. so for now i just don't. but that doesn't bother me much tbh, cuz i get my fill as is!

(plus, sometimes they’re just dumb ideas)

anyway, long story short... bakugo is my current, MAIN selfship. it was levi from attack on titan for like, 7 years tho. and i'm sure i'll find someone else berry special to add to the pile too!!! and normally i imagine us meeting because... we're both fucking weirdos who hate everyone LOL and bond over that.

That Time You Inadvertently Saved Douma's Ass.

You were waiting patiently for the upper rank meeting to end, but Muzan was pacing, which could only mean he was on the verge of a rampage the likes of which had never been seen. The veins in his forehead were close to popping and the air in the Infinity Castle was dripping with danger.

You knew this could go on for a while.

Upper moons five, four, three, and one were waiting with silent trepidation on a floating platform below, but Douma was summoned to answer for his latest mistake.

"Douma, I gave you one simple task; to locate the blue spider lily and bring it to me. And yet you have failed."

Upper Moon Two perches on Muzan's desk, pouting and swinging his legs back and forth as he watches the king of demons pace like a tiger in a cage. "Oh, Muzan-dono, you're right. I should be punished."

"And what punishment could possibly be severe enough for you to atone for the level of disappointment you have caused?" Muzan growls as he continues pacing.

"Ooh~" Douma chuckles, excitedly kicking out his feet. "You're letting me choose? Well, perhaps you should flay me, or pull out my fangs and fingernails, or-"

The Infinity Castle itself seems to hold its breath as Muzan trips over Douma's feet and stumbles face first into your ample bosom.

The only sound which breaks the silence is a deep, "mmh~" from Muzan, his groan vibrating against your sternum.

Douma's rainbow-colored eyes widen and his mouth falls open in silent gleeful surprise. "Uh... Muzan-dono...?"

A single, muffled word emerges from the progenitor of demons; "Nakime."

The sharp strum of a biwa whisks away the upper ranks and you find yourself alone with Muzan, his face still firmly lodged between your breasts.

"I am this close to destroying those worthless-."

"I know, baby, I know." You stroke Muzan's hair and let him stay in his happy place. "You good?"

"Silence." He shakes his head from side to side, burrowing deeper. He finally releases a breath and his shoulders relax. "Now I'm good."

You smile, knowing that Douma was absolutely going to send you sweets and flowers again tomorrow.

maybe cause he’s sang the song before but he’s so rnb, slow jams love songs, snooze - sza totally matches his vibe and that song is so beautiful it makes you feel in love, he’d be doing so much of everything to show his love to you, sometimes it’s grand gestures and sometimes it’s just the little things soft kisses to get you to sleep and such, if anything he just wants you to know that you’re not being taken for granted and he’ll love you and Keeho is filled with so much love for those he cares for, just in the way he talks about them you can tell and it would not be any different with his love for you, he would preach it.

for Taeyang i’m thinking ballads, slow songs that make you dream of a fairytale type of love, sweet nothings - so soo bin was my first thought it’s one of my favorites but aside from that it’s such a dreamy song, you could just daydream for hours listening to it, it’s one of those songs that makes you feel like you’re reminiscing about a memory you never had like the ideal relationship that you wish to have so dearly. i also feel like he would sing this song so well.

wave to earth and Jiung are one and the same to me, so perfectly composed and so nice to just enjoy, i’d pick love. - wave to earth for him because it sounds exactly like how i feel when i see him smile, jiung is so precious he’s so many things at once and still manages to be such a caring person. he’s just like perfect in the right ways he knows how to be around you to make you feel safe and make sure you feel cared for. tbh he’s kinda like a dad in that sense, he’ll provide and care for you making sure you’re never lacking anything.

Intak he’s more adventurous so im thinking more upbeat songs with explicit lyrics like kiss me - DPRLIVE, that’s not too explicit but the song itself gives off intak vibes i feel like he’d listen to it lip syncing in the most dramatic ways. it’s mostly fun with him you just do anything and everything when you’re with him, with lots of PDA cause he could not take his hands off you whether you’re watching a movie at the cinema or sitting on a bench in a park his hands are on you, not to go too far but i feel like he mostly have his hand resting on your belly he just loves feeling your skin there.

- haku shota;

i’ll be real i couldn’t think of anything for Soul looool, i feel like a relationship with soul would be more like a friendship you’re mostly just sharing interests and doing fun activities so i pick a certified disney classic not a love song - ross lynch, cause honestly i feel like he would totally be like showering you with compliments and love professions only to say he’s not actually confessing his love even though you’re dating. if that doesn’t make sense use your imagination 😭

- kim jongseob;

Jongseob i feel like he’s like in denial but completely obsessed lover like he tries to play it cool in front of you but his mind is crowded with thoughts of you 24/7 hence the song every little thing i do - soul for real, he is so 90s r&b coded so you already know. i do feel like even though he’s fully obsessed and you’re driving him crazy he wouldn’t let that stop him from being a charisma machine flirting with you nonstop cause your reactions are his drug.

Hi hello i forgot to post here so here is a LOT of everything i made lately !!

There is a lot lol i tried to put it in chronological order but im not really sure LOL In order:

-A new design for Pomme! People were complaning about Pomme's design being to soft and cute so i made a version that said "i just killed some monster with Dad Etoiles!!"

-Then a cute little picture of Pomme dying :) (it was after Dapper said to BBH that he would sacrifice himself to save Pomme so i imagine his reaction to Pomme loosing her first life)

-Cute selfie of my favorite siblings and one pic of Pomme alone that i actually printed on a Polaroid!

-The next pic is inspired by Richarlyson's apology book! The quote is a quote from that book and i had this idea!

-THOSE ONES!!!! ARE !!!! MY FAVORITE OF THIS WHOLE BATCH!!!! Pomme showed a lot of anxiety about her safety and the safety of her siblings, notably after Dapper's kidnapping and the Nether experience. Her actually trying to keep her smile and good spirit even when she is so scared was really something i wanted to represent !!

-This one is just like i wanted to try some complex poses lol

-Cute picture of BBH and his kids but the problem is it's not really good because the light would not stop crash the software

-Final pic, second favorite! Just latenighttrio getting some rest! (i love taking picture of sunset i have more than 100 looool so i finally decided to use them !!!) Anyways, hope you like all of those!!

i saw this fa and immediately thought of over the threshold!! tsumiki would totally be so loved by the audience on produce ahahah (and ofc by her family ❤️) if tsumiki was in this story, what would that look like? :D

i also wanted to ask about the audience’s reaction to satoru dedicating a song to suguru at his concert!!! as someone who is in kpop fandoms (which is also why this fic is so dear to me, the parallels with the challenges and pressures they face;;) i can just imagine all the takes fans would immediately have about the whole thing AHAHA also makes me go aww that suguru couldn’t fully enjoy the performance but sksjddj i loved the angst sm

i also have sm questions about satoru’s past but that’s spoilers LOL and i love learning alongside suguru about the layers satoru has… there’s so much to unpack i’m so excited to see how both stsg’s pasts unfold…!! including megumi and gojo’s past AAAAA their bond in every universe is really everything to meeeee and gojo being a support for the next generation criiiies *plays snooze by agust d* AND CHOSO AND GETO? what went onnnnnnnnn i also did not get the sugar-ooh until geto did and it was such a fun revelation my jaw literally DROPPED LOOOOL

i find the way you write stsg so so fascinating too how they bring out different sides to each other like when satoru speaks quieter and sincerely and suguru (and us readers) is hit with realizing again and again that there’s so much he doesn’t know and hasn’t figured out yet about satoru which makes this even more compelling [big heart] ah i love this fic so much and i’m so happy to have found your writing (i will never ever ever ever get over rivers crossed mountains scaled omg) and am veryyyyy much looking forward to what comes next for them!!!

So, Tsumiki is definitely present in the Threshold universe! Gojo didn't mention her by name when he was telling Megumi's story, but when he said Megumi didn't want the Zen'in fortune because he's "stubborn as hell", he was talking about Tsumiki.

It's a parallel to canon basically. The Zen'in — obsessed with bloodlines as they are — seriously underestimated the strength of the Fushiguro siblings' bond when they refused to factor Tsumiki into their discussions with Megumi. Hence, he followed Gojo into music rather than rely on their dirty money. That's why the Zen'in blame Gojo, even though it's really just because Megumi's a spiteful little so-and-so! 😏

Because of the parallels with canon, Megumi would try to keep Tsumiki away from the toxicity of the music industry as much as possible — hence why she wasn't at the album launch. However, I like to think that her career is adjacent to Megumi's in some capacity! As much as I love writing about the Fushiguro siblings' relationship with Gojo, the inclusion of that story served more to give Suguru a look into the real Gojo Satoru, so she's unlikely to feature in this fic. I think continuing their story would require a sequel — which I'm not even gonna think about until Threshold is finished... I'm not, I'm not thinking about it!

As for Gojo's dedication at the concert, he spoke in Japanese so Suguru would understand him, so most of the audience wouldn't have known what he was saying immediately. However, I'm sure the online reactions once the videos were translated and passed around were very interesting! Having said that, it's hard to communicate the nuances of the Japanese language in an English language fic. To most English speakers, "this was the first song I played for them" seems like a deliberate omission of gender, but that's not the case in Japanese. So, I imagined Gojo using his native tongue very responsibly in that moment, sticking to language that sounds purely professional — but that wouldn't stop fans from speculating 👀

I'm not planning to explore Gojo's past in *too* much detail because it's mostly his present and his future that are relevant to the story. Meanwhile, it's Suguru with the big fat question mark over his past... 🫠 So, if you want to ask questions, go ahead and I will simply avoid sharing spoilers! As for where to ask questions, Tumblr lends itself to longer answers so if you enjoyed this response, probably best to ask here! However, AO3 comments feed my body and soul so feel free to leave those too... It's whatever you prefer really 🥰

Megumi and Gojo's relationship is everything to me tooooo, no one can stop me from shoehorning it into every damn fic I write! I was listening to 7 again (probably won’t listen to it again much) and thinking about the lyrics, and I agree with you. I find it cringe.. And I’m a full grown ass woman in my 30s, in a long term relationship, with an active sex life and no taboo about sex in general. But I just don’t understand this kind of ‘fuckboy' attitude, in music, and culture in general. I just find it distasteful. There’s so many ways to talk about sex in a more interesting/engaging way than this kind of song? here the only message I get is "look look I fuck, do you know that I fuck? hey did I told you I fuck? I fuck!" huh okay of course you do, so what? Looool sorry but people who need to state that they fuck like they really want people to know are just the cringiest imo (thinking about one of my coworker rn xD) I do understand that Jk is probably tired about being seen as the cute innocent maknae, and I was expecting him to deliver something more mature in his solo area, but I was expecting something more creative and artistic. I’m a huge fan of Taemin too so I guess I was expecting something more along the lines of his work, bold and sexy but made with taste. It’s only a first release and he didn’t have much space for creativity so I hope his album will show us something better but as you said this kind of Bieber-fuckboy image is really cringe. Such a waste of talent, Jk can do big things, I really hope his album will surprise me.

Yes, I soooooo agree with you. We're all on this planet because our parents fucked. Sex is not a big deal. Why does it still shock people? The Bieber fuckboy image is definitely cringe, but Armys reaction to it is so cringe too. I've already unfollowed most BTS accounts I used to follow. I mean, it's hard to see everyone excited when I've never felt like less of an Army and a Jungkook stan. I've never before been kind of ashamed to say he's my favorite. I'm being stupid though. Feelings are stupid and hard to control.

beast just itches a place in my brain y’know, especially when it’s included in any kind of edit. i know that the editor is about to eat whenever i hear the beat & i have to prepare myself first before watching it 🤭

heartless & on my own makes me go feral sometimes lol. i have no explanation as to why i have such a reaction to a song, it’s something that i’ve just accepted. but im pretty sure other people have the same reaction so at least im not alone lol. i could listen to both of those songs on repeat & not get bored.

Wench: EXACTLY. And that exchange about the window being open? Literally a parallel to the pilot. I think that line was an exact callback, in fact, though I haven’t checked to confirm for sure.

Jezebel: Normal’s got a decently big part in this episode…

Wench: And favorite characters at this point?

Jezebel: Kinda hard to say. Before I started watching NCIS again, I was like meh: Logan was just there. But now that I’m back hyperfixating on the show again, I love Logan even though there’s no reason to. OC is up there, then Herbal, just because I like their bits. And I hate that I don’t like Max because Jessica Alba is hot.

Wench: (re. OC/Herbal et al) I feel so bad for not liking/rewatching season 1 much because I’m coming to the conclusion that I really love the Jam Pony scenes.

Jezebel: Right?!?! I loved scenes like the last episode's

Wench: Normal did not deserve that!!!

Jezebel: He really didn’t! He’s… I’m trying to come up with a comparable character, and it’s not much working. He’s not “I can’t stand him; he’s so horrible.” He’s not even that bad. He’s just a bit annoying sometimes. But I like him at other times. Maybe Hotch? I would say gibbs but I know you have strong feelings against him ☠️☠️☠️ Maybe the Gibbs gibbs is supposed to be? He’s complex! Cause normal is an ass… but not an asshole. There’s a difference ☠️ And I don’t recall another character being that dorky kinda loveable but assish too.

Wench: Yeah, that makes sense! And I think you’re gonna get more insight into him next episode, which is why I said wait until then for the Normal Bingo.

And it’s also gonna give some poor person with epilepsy a seizure

And that’s the end of the series; they die together

[They just put a blood-deprived person in general lock-up; how is she still standing?!] Exactly! And they didn’t even give her a bandaid; they just pulled out the needle. And I’ve been to the hospital and gotten an IV, and they pulled out the needle, and blood went everywhere. It’s like the scene in SPN where Dean broke his leg and then pulled out the IV and there was just nothing. I’m like, this is a show about hunting supernatural creatures, but this is the unrealistic bit. [This is the most unrealistic thing in this show, and the brothers fight god with a gun.]

Jezebel: Well, in the second half, a lot happened! They were like, we ain’t gonna put much in the first half because we’re gonna have to try and kill you in the second half. Also, there’s like a ship… not unlocked, but it’s there. They don’t want it to be there --- I don't want it to be there --- but it’s there. Uh… I actually didn’t hate Max this episode. Or even not-like her

Wench: I know!!! Though, admittedly, for an episode about Max, she was only in, like, three scenes

Jezebel: They could have made him collapsing a bit more dramatic, to be honest. Like, sprawled out on the floor. Or in his chair, still by the window.

Wench: I KNOW. Like, I fell asleep over my homework all the time in high school/college, so he could just have been asleep; that was much less dramatic than it could/should have been.

Jezebel: And… the dream. I’m gonna keep coming back to it. If I had one final thought at the end of this episode, it was pinned back at that dream. That was so weird. But I think that’s a wrap, so. Yeah!
