Since we know that Monarch used the Snake Miraculous to go back try multiple times to defeat Ladybug and Chat....
Do you think he used it Jubilation and forced them to relive their shared dream together over and over again until he gave up.

So I just finished reading The Song of Achilles, and forgive me if I'm stating the obvious but . . .
About two thirds of the way in, Thetis tells the boys that there is a new prophecy, that "the best of Myrmidons will die before two more years have passed." And at first they're afraid that it's Achilles, but then Thetis tells them that he will be alive when it happens
The first time I read this, I didn't understand. It was only when I read that passage again, after knowing what happens, that I realized the prophecy was about Patroclus
The book even acknowledges it later on, when Briseis is saying goodbye to him . . . "'Best of men. Best of Myrmidons.' She places her fingers to my lips, stopping my objection. 'It is truth,' she says. 'Let it stand for once.'"
In the first half of the book, a lot of Patroclus's pov is dedicated to describing how beautiful and amazing Achilles is. And when you see how ordinary and pathetic Patroclus makes himself look in comparison, you almost start to wonder why Achilles loves him in the first place
But Patroclus was the best of all of them, even better than Achilles. No one else had his kindness, his tenderness, his unwavering care for others
And Achilles knew this. Further on, Briseis says that Patroclus was worth ten of him, and Achilles doesn't disagree

I like how Giorno is “nicer” to Abbacchio than Bruno is when Abbacchio acts like a dick around the both of them
Like when Abbacchio pissed in Giorno’s tea, Giorno didn’t call him out or get mad at him. Even when Bruno realized something was up and started to yell at the others, Giorno just told him everything was fine and fake-drank the piss, letting Abbacchio get away with it
And when Abbacchio said he wasn’t going to call his stand out because he felt unsafe with Giorno seeing it. Bruno (rightfully) calls him a petty little bitch (not actually but it’s close enough) while Giorno decides to get himself caught by Zucchero so Abbacchio would feel safe enough to use his stand
It’s incredibly hilarious because Giorno’s constantly trying to make Abbacchio feel comfortable and avoid any unnecessary fights while Bruno knows it’s a lost cause and is completely fine with starting an argument

A Good Person]
<< Previous More Comics>>
I love Emmet as a character.  I look at all the interpretations and have come to the conclusion that Emmet’s PLA and post PLA story is always about grief and mourning.  The interpretations just focus on the different stages he might be in and the choices he might make.  There are some that portray Emmet as frustrated and bargaining for a way to find his brother. Some have him as hurt and cold from loss while others keep him in denial as he searches for answers.  We’ve seen plenty where Emmet is depressed and sad as well as a few about him coming to terms with his loss.
In my comic, the Emmet I portray is the one finally finding peace and learning to move on.  Granted, he has been reunited with his brother; but he still went through all the stages of grief emotionally.  As fun as it is to make this character really angsty, I really wanted to look at how grief can change a person to be better.  With loss we find compassion and empathy. We look within and then outside ourselves as we grow around our grief.  Grief never leaves us, we just grow bigger so that it isn’t the only thing filling us and we can fill our lives with other things again.
So this is just my little homage to Emmet as a character and how I perceive him and how I relate to him as I try to break down my own grief.  I want to believe that as hurting people we can heal. That we become kinder to ourselves and to others and that we allow ourselves to feel the pain but move forward.  For what is grief but all the unexpressed love we could not share with someone.  Over time, the burden turns into a gift we carry to the end of our lives.

I just finished watching 911 Lone Star and… oh my god- it was SO GOOD! Tarlos own my entire heart and I just want more right now! All of their moments are absolute highlights but I cannot emphasise enough the amount of pure unadulterated joy this scene from Down to Clown gives me every time I watch it - and I have watched this scene so many times now… TKs face throughout is such a picture - the very thought of it makes me smile… I had to do a doodle as a matter of great importance!

i was just thinking about how everyone writes steven as this person who gets flustered super easily when someone flirts with him but i think that steven would shoot back with another flirt. but marc. he would be the one to get flustered because he’s not used to the flirting even after being with layla because he keeps telling himself that he’s not worthy of love. jake, on the other hand, seems like he would shoot back like steven but be internally screaming because he’s used to hiding in the shadows and only interacting with Khonsu.

A sad thought I sometimes think about is when the Ghost crew was slowly drifting apart after Rebels, Hera would look back at her leaving her father and be like: this is what it feels like. At that time, Cham had already lost his wife to the Empire, and now his daughter was walking away as well, leaving him alone to carry on the fight in Ryloth. Similarly, Hera had lost Kanan, then Ezra, and then Sabine chose to stay on Lothal, Zeb went off to train recruits, while she and Chopper are all that's left. Of course, Hera had her own legitimate reasons: she wanted to fly and fight for a larger cause, and Cham has never believed in her. They've been going through this issue as early as Season 1 of Bad Batch. (Gobi trusts me to do my part, why can't you?) But at some point, in her darker moments, I think that Hera would sometimes believe that this was payback, and that she somehow deserved it. I imagine how she must have reacted to each loss of the crew, how empty the Ghost feels, how she can't bear to look at Sabine's paintings or clean up their old rooms, how she has to soldier through it all from fighting for the Rebellion to raising Jacen alone.

At first I wasn't a fan of Adrien being a sentibeing but now I really connect with it.
Adrien has to deal with this struggle of being pulled by so many different strings. From what his father wants and expects him to do, to what others expect from him.
He is constantly being forced to do what others what him to do without any say. He does try to push back and resist it but eventually he givens in.
Having Adrien be a Senti is an easy way to show that it's hard to say no to things you don't want to do, especially when it comes to parental figures.
We all want to live up to what our parents want from us and that's a hard thing to do. But we also want to love our life in the way we choose. But making that choice is hard when you don't want to disappoint people.
He wants his father's love and support so at first he is willing to listen. But as Adrien grows he starts to see that his father doesn't always have his best interests in mind and wants to use him as a pawn. Yet Adrien still for the most part obeys because he is reward with love when he does.
I guess my point is that it is hard to go against other people's wishes and its hard to say no sometimes even when we really want to. And Adrien being a sentibeing is a great way to show that in my opinion. Cause he can break free from the control I know he can.

Purple haze feedback being promoted by fans as a Fugio book only for 50% of it to be about Fugo reminiscing about how much he (platonically) loves Bruno and feels as if he failed to protect him is lowkey gold (Narancia and Abbacchio too but Bruno is usually Fugo’s main focus in the book)
I can imagine someone seeing people only talk about the one scene that Giorno and Fugo talk in, picking it up expecting more scenes like that with them, and sitting through 100 pages of an actual plot with little to no Giorno and Fugo thinking about how much he misses his dead brothers in between the actual plot instead
Phf fans are accidentally tricking shippers into reading not just platonic fanficton about the Bucci gang but also a story with a new cast of characters under the guise of it being a ship fuel jojo book and that will forever be my favorite thing about the book’s existence
