Are you still taking drawing prompts? Because I just think it's so cute how the Human!Baylee/Bofur/Ran love triangle turned into, well... a love-triangle! And since some members of the pairing (thrairing?) are taller than others I think kisses would be very awkward and sweet... is that a good idea?

Heheh kisses with this throuple would actually be very awkward and sweet--there's nearly a foot's difference between Bofur and Ran (4'8" and 5'5" respectively (Ran is a half dwarf, half a human)) while human!Baylee's almost in the middle at 4'11"~ Bofur usually stands on his tiptoes to smooch Baylee while he practically needs a stool for Ran kisses.

Now, I know these aren't exactly kisses, but the right one is almost a kiss--so that's gotta count for something, right? ;D

Also omfg it's been so long since I drew human!Baylee OTL I'm not very happy with how she looks here but oh well she is still cute with her boyos and THAT is what matters

Notes for those who don't know: human!Baylee and Ran are from my fanfic, Azying, which is a rewrite of an older fic called Finding Their Place. These three weren't meant to be a throuple, but I am the Queen of OT3s, so yeah. It happened. Yes, I have two Baylees. Technically, hobbit!Baylee came first, but I turned her human for FtP/Azying. Then I was peer pressured into doing a hobbit!Baylee/Thorin fic, thus, the two Baylee. Also, human!Baylee ends up losing both her ringer fingers and may end up with facial scars like hobbit!Baylee. Only time will tell.

Anastasia and Flore finally have opponents they can go all out against. Flore might be more brutal, but Ana sets the surrounding area on fire, outwitting the shapeshifting trickster. (A and H)

Baylee calmly asks Stormy to not fight. The little monster doesn't want to hurt her friend and moves on to go chew up trees somewhere else. Pacifism win. (K and N)

Mable beats Paul by just being annoying. Throwing things and hiding is the main strategy. Besides, he's bored and wants to go home. (R and S)

Now all the competitors reach the centre of the arena, it's a three way battle. Are there stakes? Well, the one who wins gets drawn

Yes this was pure coincidence, but certainly a funny one. Name reveal because it felt climactic this way

Some doodles I did today~

On the top is hobbit!Baylee during the Battle of Five Armies. She manages to get herself a war ram (I know the movie says they're goats but they're clearly bighorn sheep) which allows her to get to Dale, where she does the majority of her fighting.

On the bottom is human!Baylee, Ran, and Bofur reenacting that one smooch meme, but instead of flipping people off, Baylee is giving a thumbs' up. By the point all three are together, she no longer has her ring fingers, thus the weird looking hands :p

Hiiiiiiiiiii ! What do your Ocs (all of them !!! ) like to eat for breakfeast ?

Oh, this is going to be a bit of a challenge, but I'll try my best~!

Hobbit!Baylee: While she does enjoy a typical hobbit breakfast of sausage, eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc., she enjoys a simple bowl of porridge and dried berries with a side of bacon.

Human!Baylee: To be honest, human!Baylee is kind of bad about actually eating breakfast. Most of her mornings are spent baking bread and taking small nibbles from whatever her aunt or Galiene are making for breakfast.

Ran: He prefers a light breakfast, usually involving some fruit, sausage, and maybe some eggs.

Gytha: Ice Berry bread pudding

Lovisa: Bacon, eggs, sausage, and toast...in sandwich form.

Thora: Porridge with berries, thick-cut bacon, sauteed mushrooms and tomatoes, scrambled eggs, some sweet rolls, and a strong mug of tea. ...she's half troll, she's got a big appetite.

Death Dance: a whole elk...or whatever other large forest animal she can get her jaws on. (it's her only meal for the week)

Bair: Before meeting Hakan, she enjoys a bowl of cereal. Usually one of the sugary flavors like Reese's Puffs. After meeting Hakan, though, it's his stuffed french toast.

Vithar: Before Hakan's arrival, he liked a nice, big bowl of Malt-o-meal mixed with maple syrup. After Hakan's arrival, he likes his breakfast sandwiches.

Hakan: Before he freed, basically any bit of food he could get his hands on. Usually whatever was leftover from what he made his captor. After he's freed, though...it's whatever he gets to make of his own volition.

Emil: On the days she's hungover, bananas. Sometimes with a swig of rum. When she's not hungover, she likes a thick fish stew with a side of bannock. Not exactly breakfast-y, but when you're at sea all the time, you make do

Mary: Wheat and berry pudding.

Madelina: Oatmeal with fruit and cream (usually dried peaches and/or strawberries) and a mug of tea.

i'm new to both your blogs, so i'm sorry if this is a weird question, but why are there two baylees?

Not a weird question at all!

There are two Baylees because...well...my friends kind of bullied me into it LOL

Basically, back when the LotR movies came out, I made a hobbit lass named Baylee who I only drew a handful of times before tossing her aside in favor of my PotC hyperfixation.

Then along came the Hobbit movies. When the first one came out, I brought back Baylee, turned her human, paired her with Bofur, and threw her into a fanfic called Finding Their Place.

Back then, a few of my friends said I should have paired her with Thorin instead, thinking they'd be an even sweeter match. It wasn't an everyone-lives fic, though, so Thorin was a bit...dead in the fic.

h o w e v e r...

When I got back into a Tolkien hyperfixation a few years ago, I started re-writing 'Finding Their Place' (the rewrite being called Azying) and major changes were made--such as the Durins being alive. My friends again pestered me, telling me I should pair Baylee with Thorin, but I said no, she's still going to be with Bofur.

But to appease them, I drew Baylee and Thorin smooching. And at that point, the battle was lost. I dug out Baylee's old hobbit design (which is pretty much the same at her human one, just shorter), made her Bilbo's illegitimate daughter, and now Baylee Baggins is the star of Her Dreams Became Nightmares. Poor thing doesn't get a happy ending.

So that's why there are two Baylees: Baylee Braddock the human, who is with Bofur (and Ran, a half-dwarf oc of mine) and Baylee Baggins, the hobbit who is with Thorin.

(both these pictures are around 2-3 years old now so they're a bit old in both style and design terms)

That post i reblogged talking about forehead touches being signs of affection amongst dwarves made me want to draw some Bofur/human!Baylee and Thorin/hobbit!Baylee. Both of them were supposed to be happy, buuuut Thorinlee disagreed.

I've got the Thorinlee traced onto watercolor paper, so you can expect to see that painted in the near future :p It's hard to tell in this scan, but Thorin's kneeling because hobbit!Baylee is so small, but in the full version, it's easier to tell. Also, i spent like three hours trying to draw his hand only to get it perfect and realize it would be hidden by her cloak.

From the point of view of human!Baylee, who is dictating her answers to her brother, Will, as she is dyslexic and has problems writing.

🛌what's your sleep schedule like?

It's fairly normal, with me usually going to bed around 10 and waking up around 6. Sometimes, I go to bed later if some sort of party took place or if there was a lot of cleaning up that needed to be done. But I almost always wake up around 6 because I need to get the kitchen and bread dough ready for the day.

Will's note: She's lying about being up by 6. It's more like 5. And now she's glaring at me.

👬who's your best friend?

I have three best friends! Primrose Lightfoot, Wenna Cooperson, and Ori.

🔪 would you/have you ever killed anyone?

Do orcs count as 'anyone'? Because if yes, then yes I would kill and have killed orcs. If not, then I....would kill someone, but only as an absolutely last resort. And yes, I have killed a human.

💕how affectionate are you?

I'm a fairly affectionate person! I really enjoy giving and receiving hugs. And I suppose that with Bofur and Ran, I'm a bit extra affectionate and give them plenty of cheek kisses. Will, stop wiggling your eyebrows like that and stop writing everything--

Either on the back of a horse or snuggled up between Ran and Bofur.

🤩who do you look up to?

I'm so short, I have to look up at almost everyone.

Oh, wait, you meant that in an admiration way? Oops. Well, out of everyone, I look up to my da' the most. After everything he's been through--including the loss of mum--he still manages to be a cheery, warm, and welcoming bloke.
