The Loves and Crimes of Carmen Pondiego

This is a look into the life of Carmen Pondiego and the beginnings of her new VILE agents as they roam the multiverses, looking to steal various famous artifacts from various fandoms with the use of Library Door tech and the internet. This entire story has various scenes that include sex (both consensual and non-con), drug use, violence, and foul language. This is not your everyday wholesome romance story. It does get very dicey and may give plenty of not so good feelings.

This is also my first attempt at fanfiction as a whole. I usually RP semi-para. My author grammar and all may not be the absolute best, I just write what my mind sees. Thank you for reading and being patient with me.

This is a parody adaptation of an anthropomorphic character mashup originally between Carmen Sandiego and My Little Pony. The universe takes place in a parallel world but characters can travel and sample things from multiple series and different fandoms that are mentioned in the story. Any correlations such as family relations between any Carmen or Pony series could vary in detail to the original source and would not be canon anywhere else other than this story. All individual characters portrayed in this story are copyright to their players. This story has been put together with the help of multiple friends through rp.

Chapter 1: Museums are highly flammable

As the rain drizzled down, thunder had been distantly rumbling, a suited figure steps into the chrome retro style diner and shakes his umbrella by the door. A pure snow white haired, tan unicorn, dressed in a red and black business blazer and skirt, looks over from a booth with her purple glasses, raising a hand that had been fitted with cybernetics, the panels so closely fit and natural looking, one would never have thought her hands were not her own. She sipped her coffee as the suited figure sat down, taking out a cellphone, with a recording session ready to record. “Evening. Are you ready?”

She nods, “What would you like to know exactly?”

“Everything.”

“Everything? Thats quite a lot to ask for. Where shall I begin?”

He had already pressed record on the phone and slid it across the table towards her. “Like all stories do. At the beginning.”

It was a cool evening, just before dusk and a family of anthro ponies were mingling around an art museum. A mother unicorn of the classic hourglass shape, tan fur, dark reddish brown hair, spring green eyes, dressed in red and black blouse and pencil skirt, was pushing a stroller containing an infant toddler unicorn colt, seafoam teal in fur, brown hair and currently chewing on his father’s red and white beanie hat, cooing happily. The father figure was a tall earth stallion and had a somewhat lanky build dressed in jeans and a striped red and white sweater, pale blue fur with brown hair and rather nerdy glasses, he looks up at a little filly riding his shoulders, her little yellow sundress gleaming in the few stray rays of exhibit lights, her little wings flap excitedly as her pink eyes are wide, peeking under a rather haphazard attempt to tame the grayscale locks into bangs and ponytail. “Dada!! Look!! Daggie!” The father, Wally, chuckled, keeping hold of the child’s squirmy legs. “Yes, Adora. I see the dragon. Thats is statue. Can you say Statue?”

“Statoo! Dat.. chachoo!” Her face scrunched as she tried to say the new word.

The mother, Carmen, laughed “You know, I used to know some dragons on my explorations. And so did your Dad.”

The filly wriggled more, holding onto Wally’s hair, “Wreely?! For wreal life?! I wanna be exploder too!!!” She screeched happily. “An Ahm gonna marry big daggie when I growd up!”

The parents looked at eachother with a mix of concern and laughter. “We’ll… come back to that idea for another day, how’s that sound?” Carmen reached up and gently pulled her daughter down, giving Wally’s shoulders a break. “Yeah, kiddo. You got your whole life ahead of you. Its ok to stay a kid while you are still a kid. Your only job right now is to have fun and be a good big sister to Blendin.”

He bent over to ruffle the colts hair before scrunching his nose. “Speaking of which.. I think someone needs a change.” Carmen sighed and rolled her eyes, “Rock paper scissors for it. Loser gets the diaper duty.”

After three quick rounds, Wally grinned and swaggered to the gift shop as Carmen headed to the restrooms with both kids in tow. After a quick stinky change and a little princess piddle, the three emerge to a bit of a crowd. There was a faint scent of fire burning the edges of Carmen’s nose. She held Adora’s hand and grabbed Blendin from the stroller, as it became more apparent the crowd was becoming panicked and an alarm sounding. “Momma? What happening?” “Its going to be alright, little one. Just stay close to me, do not leave my side. I just need to find your father..” Carmen frantically looked over the crowd as best as she could but saw no sign of Wally.

Smoke started to billow as a tapestry and curtain started to burn. She finally caught sight of him just underneath and unaware, him looking as lost as confused as she. “Wally!!”

“Carmen? I’ll meet you outside! Get the kids out!” He shouted into the crowd, not seeing her across the room. Just then the curtain rod falls, trapping Wally and a few others with a wall of fire.

Carmen cried out for him but couldnt hear him afterwards. She adjusted her hold on Blendin and gripped Adora’s hand tight, “Come on, babies. We need to get to safety. Daddy will meet us there.” The crowd was like a rushing river, they could only go in the same direction until they all pooled outside in the museum’s open courtyard, fire crews already rushing in with hoses and gear.

The three found a small area by a tree and huddled together as they watched the building engulf in flames. Carmen’s heart was pounding as she watched for anyone coming out from inside.

A few hours passed and both children were asleep in her lap, her eyes still glued to the scene. A figure came up to her, and for a moment she felt huge relief until she realized it was not Wally, but instead a police officer and the fire chief. They had been going around to lingering folks checking for injuries. “Please.. my husband.. he wore a red and white sweater.. where is he? Did he get out?” The fire chief handed her a large medallion, “Was he the owner of this Wander Society coin? If so, then I’m afraid he’s gone.” Carmen trembled and her chest felt like it imploded inward, she shakily took Wally’s coin, water dripping onto it. She touched her face, realizing tears were pouring down. “I.. I need to see him. Please let me see him.” She carefully stood, the filly slightly stirring from sleep and the colt was still cradled against his sister, unbothered. Carmen started to walk towards the museum ruins but was held back by the officer, “Wait. I know you. You held that heist by the Hoofer dam! You’re Pondeigo!” She wrenched her arm from his grasp, “I dont care! All I care about is being with my husband! Let me see him!” She sobbed, grabbing hold of the uniform and sinking to her knees, screaming out Wally’s name. The officer grimaces solemnly, “Look, I cant just forget your alleged crimes. You still have active warrants. I have to take you in.” He looked towards the kids, Adora rubbing her eyes and watching as she held her baby brother. “Those your kids?” Carmen nodded, reaching out for them and scooping them into her arms, burying her face into them. “Is there anyone you can leave them with until we can get this sorted out? I mean, I aint dumb, you will probably escape before you’re even sentenced.” The officer kindly offered, not blind to the sensitive situation at hand.

Carmen kneeled silently for a moment before letting go of her children and reaching for her bag for a couple slips of paper. Her hands shaking as she handed the papers over, “Wally and I decided that if anything should ever happen to us, my daughter Adora would be in the care of this location.. and my son Blendin will be at this location. Just let the keepers know who their parents are. Its all arranged… please.. I just wish that you would let me go this once. My children are all I have left..”

The officer spoke into his walkie and reading off the slips of papers, and after a moment or so a suit clad individual took the papers and scooped up the kids. Carmen flung herself at him, trying to reach her children, “No.. please!! Not yet! Dont take them yet! Dont take them too…” she begged, the officer gently taking her wrists and handcuffing them behind her back, she pulled against the officer trying to follow the suit. “Adora! Blendin!! Mommy loves you! I’ll come back for you! Mommy promises!!” She screams out in despair as she was loaded into the police cruizer, watching as they drove away from the worst night she had ever lived.

The next few days were a blur, she was checked in and registered, given a quick hearing and sent to a holding facility, all while she was numb and nearly catatonic from grief. Her expressions were blank and listless, she didnt speak even to defend herself in front of the judge. She was loaded onto a bus and sent to a building further from the city. Only then did she furrow her brow.

show about a war between two magic horse nations (unicorns vs pegasus maybe) full of tons of drama and tragedy between the characters but the actual war is fought with like glitter bombs and rainbow lasers.

FASCINATING concept, but no that'd never make it on TV in the 80s because the producers would be like "well girls like unicorns AND pegasi, they wouldn't know who's the bad guy" and "little girls don't like war stories, do they?" Unicorn Vs Pegasus War is like Steven Universe or Netflix She-Ra levels of narrative complexity. For a girly 80s shows you gotta dial it back, gotta drain out the depth, gotta make it palatable not to 5-year-old girls but to the mothers of 5-year-old girls that the producers dread receiving an angry letter from.

We have clear unambiguous good guys and clear unambiguous villains, the heroes are fighting for causes like Colors and Friendship and Sharing, and the only times the hero/villain lines are blurred are when a villain goes "gee, now I understand, nothing is more important than telling your friends you care!" and becomes a good guy.

There's like ten good guys and two bad guys tops, to make them easy to keep up with, and the good guys are Things The Production Company Thinks Little Girls Probably Like (ponies, teddy bears, princesses) and the bad guys are Things Little Girls Probably Don't Like (weird short balding guys, balls of brown fuzz, a single inexplicably cool-looking goth girl that the 8-year-old queer girls immediately fall in love with).

The good guys are bright, pretty, and cute, and the villains are grey and purple, MAYBE dark red, and acid green if they're doing magic. Acceptable hero aesthetics: hearts, clouds, stars, rainbows, smiley faces, pink things, jewels but only in a cute way not a luxurious way. Villain aesthetics: broken hearts, pointy things, shadows, fangs, and desolate gray wastelands with no hope or life that will haunt you for years.

The good guys' combat capabilities are usually defensive magic focused on shielding people, creating barriers to bad guys, and mystically repairing damage. The bad guys' combat capabilities are almost always dependent upon trickery, kidnapping, theft, and property damage, rather than actual physical violence. Nobody gets hurt, unless the bad guys accidentally injure themselves (played for laughs).

The heroes always clearly unambiguously win with no tragedy or sadness and they all like each other, unless two need to develop a short-lived rivalry to learn an Important Lesson about being nice to your friends. Bad guys are petty, mean, and bully each other, except for maybe one stupid good-natured henchman who doesn't realize he's a bad guy. Conflicts are quickly-resolved, black-and-white, and typically low-stakes. (If they're high-stakes, it's in an abstract way, like "if we don't stop him no more flowers will bloom!" and not "he's going to murder somebody.") Movies can have an actual scary villain but ongoing series must have recurring comedically ineffective villains, and also even the scary villains have goofy motives like "wants to destroy friendship" or "just, like, super selfish and bad at sharing."

This—this is the essence of the girly 80s cartoon. This is my target.

I'm not saying this how to make a good girly cartoon. I'm not saying a good girly cartoon shouldn't have narrative complexity, high stakes, or interesting character depth. I'm saying that ain't how the 80s did it, and THAT'S the genre I'm parodying.

And how would you class very loose retellings of myths, for example Uyllesse Dies At Dawn the album by The Mechanisms?

hello! that post seems so ancient to me, it’s wild that it’s going around again…..

i don’t disagree with anything i said, but i wish i’d drawn more on fan studies scholarship (remember that this is a subject of real, meaningful academic study!); nonetheless, what i wrote is similar to what seems to be the disciplinary consensus. the introduction to the fan fiction studies reader understands fanfiction as “historically situated in the last forty years, tending to respond to a specific form of media texts, and encompassing a specific amateur infrastructure for its creation, distribution, and reception.”[1] i would argue that these parameters are definitional, the pillars that make fanfic fanfic. i don’t believe fanfic can be fanfic without intention—that is, it’s not fanfic if you don’t know you’re writing fanfic.[2] ripping fanfic out of this framework deprives the form of meaning.

the works you mention are adaptations, which are another beast entirely.[3] linda hutcheon places adaptation alongside “imitation, allusion, parody, travesty, pastiche, and quotation as popular creative ways of deriving art from art”[4]—we might add fanfiction to this list. it is another way of deriving art from art, a way which happens within these “amateur infrastructures” of fan communities, which responds to a source with work inspired by and dependent on that source,[5] which is produced by and for fans and within fandom. fanfic occupies spaces that original fiction cannot. thus something cannot simultaneously be original fiction and fanfiction; they are mutually exclusive.[6]

re: greco-roman mythology specifically, i feel like we can safely say that this has been sufficiently absorbed into the social milieu as a “cultural universal”—to borrow a phrase from john djisenu[7]—that drawing on/responding to something so broad and ubiquitous is far distinct from writing a story about the characters and occurrences and settings of, say, one singular book series (with a single author, owner, publisher, etc.). classics are everywhere. classical adaptations, in various forms, far predate fanfic (and, in almost all of those forms, their aims and efforts are very, very different from fanfic). these are simply not the same. ask yourself: could someone post this on ao3? if not, it is not fanfic. rita dove would not post the darker face of the earth on ao3. it is not fanfic.

Abridged Series used to be entertaining because they mirrored YouTube Poops in that they were like incoherent messes of incoherent memes that hit rapid fire except the abridged series had voice acting and was more grounded in reality. When YouTube Poops went out of fashion we saw the fall of the abridged series and more of a rise in even older memes such as rage comics originals such as pepe and wojaks. We are beginning to see the fall of pepe and wojak once again and the start of a new age of memes revolving around ridiculous parodies once more, this time entirely voice acted and there is the crossover element that bled through from my little pony brony recoverers constant need to make some sort of mash up between mlp and everything in existence. Soon we will see entire series made up of ridiculous cross overs more frequently than we already are. With voice acting, and art and animation. The cycle will be born anew.

Death Battle had a lot of fights this season and a lot of great songs. Princess of Pride, Diabolical Invincible Me, Fallen Gods, this was a great year for Death Battle music. And that’s not including the commissioned ones. But starting this year, I am going to disqualify any songs that are Death Battle related so I can have non-Vs songs on this list. Which is why this is an honorable mention. Because it isn’t a Death Battle Related song. Rumor Has it by Adele with Apocalypse smashing Black Adam’s face to the beat was hilarious and I wanted to bring that up.

#10 - Eff this Job by Your Favorite Martian

This year saw the return of Your Favorite Martian. While they have put out some good songs, I don’t think they’re as good as their old work. With one exception: Eff this Job. I can see this song being part of their original releases and being just as fun to listen to then as it is now. So if I could recommend a song from their newest releases, this is the one I am going to highly recommend.

I’ve seen the memes. I’ve seen the references. But I never saw the original source. And now that I have, I love it! I really need to sit down and watch Jojo one of these days.

The first new song I heard this year, released right when I was about to break up Akuma and Lita in my comics. It perfectly captures the reason why I broke them up. While this is a cover, I heard the original and honestly wasn’t a fan of it compared to the Kermit Version. So this was my #1 for a while…

#7 - Caramelldansen Fusion Collab by SilvaGunner

Talk about a song that is packed with Nostalgia. Classic Internet Meme Song, mashed up with the likes of Weird Al, Sonic, Phoenix Wright and other musical styles. Listening to this is like a big shot of nostalgia to the ears.

#6 - It’s Just An by bb-panzu

If I have to criticize Komi Can’t Communicate for one thing, it’s that I’m not hooked on the theme songs. Luckily for me the Friday Night Funkin’ community brought this out. This mod I think perfectly captures the series. And honestly I do love how the song goes from Komi using pencil scratches to do her beeps and boops until later in the song.

#5 - "We Didn't Start the Bizarre" (A JoJo Song Parody) by Riverdude

Of the ever growing reasons for me to watch Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, possibly the best We Didn’t Start the Fire Parody using the first five parts of Jojo. It perfectly captures the feeling of the original song while bringing up so much about Jojo that I know thanks to Osmosis. If you ever feel like you need a recap, I think this could help.

#4 - Crushing Thirties by the Chalkeaters

2022 has to be Sonic’s best years in recent times. Sonic’s Second Movie is one of the highest grossing Video Game based Movies, IDW Series are getting critical acclaims, Sonic Frontiers brings fresh life to the games, getting so much support it was a contender for Fan Favorites beating even God of War, and the new Netflix Series got a lot of praise. And with this, these people got the lead singer of Crush 40 to sing a Crush 40 style song about Sonic’s 30th Anniversary. Granted, it is tongue and cheek but man, the lyrics have so many references to past Sonic’s songs it’s hard to not love. There’s another song they released that’s more… Questionable. I’ll leave it at that.

#3 - Monster Party from My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale

Pipp Petals is my favorite pony of this new generation. One of the reasons is she’s a horror fan and this song is a great showing of that. It’s also pretty catchy and for me possibly the best song of the series so far. This includes the actual show and the movie. So here’s hoping she continues to prove to be my favorite of G5.

#2 - Hug Me (Feat. @JuKayVid & @Chi-chi ) 【 Come and Learn with Pibby FAN SONG】by Jakeneutron

Waiting for this show to actually come out is definitely a pain. Luckily fan content exists to hold us off and this one is one of the best. Really captures the feeling of Pibby what she was before and after this Darkness invasion. If the show is as good as this music video, it will be a hit.

The Skateboarding Cow as a joke. It was fine. But man, this song I think is one of the best to come out from the creators of Asdfmovie Series. The song really makes you really support this Real Man’s goal from being a Cow to a Skateboarding Champion. It also explains he was framed for the murders by that farmer. And honestly, it really is a great song for this year. Something I wish I had more of: determination to achieve your goals. And hopefully with the goals I have for next year, I can prove I am a real man as well.

Introducing...the Lotus Maid Squad!

The Lotus Maid Squad is a team of five professional housemaids. Hailing from Italy, they actually have an impressive resumé. They have worked as not only maids, but also royal bodyguards for an Italian queen back in the year 2044. Since they feel extremely loyal to their liege, the have gone on to serve the former queen as she moved up in her career to represent Italy in the Global Republic. Now, they reside in New York City as they maintain the upkeep of the penthouse apartment residence of Senator Patrice Amaretti. Surprisingly, four of these five maids have known Patrice since childhood (they were all classmates at an all-girls school in Rome). They are called the "Lotus Maid Squad" because Patrice's favorite flower is the Indian Lotus, so their name signifies their allegiance to the senator. Alternatively, they also go by the "Lily Pads", since lily pads surround lotuses in ponds. You could think of it this way: the Amaretti residence would be a pond ecosystem where Patrice=Lotus, Maids=Lily Pads.

I'm just gonna cut to the chase. If anyone of you are following me for J.E.D.I., and you have a good grasp on who Patrice is, then you'll probably get that these maids are supposed to be based off of Padmé's handmaidens. Unlike the rest of the characters in this story, I chose to approach them a different way. While most of the characters are straightforward parodies (Alexis=Ahsoka, Obadiah=Obi-Wan, Anatole=Anakin, etc.), I decided to create these girls based on combining traits of several handmaidens into particular roles (the decoy, the stylist, etc.) instead of a specific handmaiden for each one, because I did some research and found that there are over 18 handmaidens in canon (and Legends) that are little more than just a background extra and a name that rhymes with Padmé (with a few exceptions such as Teckla and Duja). In some cases, I even added traits not seen in the movies. Before you say anything, I'm aware that there is a novel series about Padmé and her handmaidens, but I heard some things and read some reviews about it that made me not want to read it (and Padmé is my favorite character, but I'll sacrifice); I'll just stick to this one Queen Amidala Journal I have to reread anytime I want. Plus, I wanted to have fun assigning super-tropey anime personalities to the handmaidens in my AU.

And now, here's a summary on each of Patty's maids.

Caprice Zeppole: Hailing from Florence, Caprice is Patrice's childhood friend, having known her the longest (since preschool!), and is in charge of apartment security alongside Captain Guido Togni (Patrice's security guard and chauffeur). Despite lacking a blood relation, the two look nearly identical, but there is one feature to distinguish them: Patrice has a beauty mark on her left cheek, while Caprice doesn't. Personality wise, the two could not be anymore different. While Patrice is calm and confident, Caprice is a ball of never-ending hyperactive energy who idolizes the senator and is her biggest fangirl; she admires the senator for being everything this maid isn't: classy, stylish, sociable, determined, and just overall a role model for aspiring young senators. Caprice can also be a bit clingy, often surprise-hugging Patrice at inopportune times (think Himeko Katagiri from Pani Poni Dash!). Due to their looks, Patrice and Caprice can actually switch places with each other's clothes (Anatole can tell who's who with his ESP, however). At one point Caprice was jealous of Patrice for marrying Anatole (What girl wouldn't be? He's so handsome with his pretty face, soft blue eyes, and honey-hued mane.), but she got over it and supports the happy couple wholeheartedly. In fact, she likes to use the couple as inspiration for writing fantasy romance stories, though she changes their names to "Caelius" and "Flora" (those are actually pseudonyms that Anatole and Patrice got married under). Once, Caprice (in disguise) survived a plane bombing on a day known as "That Foggy Morning in NYC". Also, she often prances around singing "Yo-ho, yo-ho, a housemaid's life for me!", and has never been to Boston in the fall.

Clarice Sfogliatelle: A Venetian native, Clarice is the maid in charge of cleaning and tidiness at the Amaretti residence. She is shy and soft-spoken, often twiddles her fingers when talking (think Hinata from Naruto), and is slightly clumsy; sometimes tripping over stuff. Despite her clumsiness, she is great at making the apartment appear spick-and-span spotless. When getting ready to clean, she pretends to be a magical girl with her cleaning equipment, chanting, "Every speck of dust—all grime, rust, and leftover pizza crust...meets their doom fair and just; their cleansing away is a must! And my word, you can trust, ‘cause around Clarice, it’s clean or bust!”. She is a contrast to Caprice's hyperactivity. Fun fact: I almost considered changing Clarice's name due to discovering a character in an anime game called "The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls" who had the same name and was in a maid costume, but after some research, learned she's just an earnable character in the game and only had a maid cosplay card, alongside other cards with different-themed outfits. So my character is distinct enough. Besides, there's a number of pink-haired Sakuras in anime; all of which are different from one another.

Denise Torrone: Born in Milan, Denise is a maid with a rather haughty personality. She is Patrice's personal stylist; designing and coordinating all her outfits and hairstyles. Whenever possible, she will boast about how she is the true mind behind the senator's flawless looks. In fact, she will often proclaim that it's thanks to her that Patrice is always so fashionable, announcing "The Senator's Wardrobe was provided by Yours Truly!" and apparently, according to the other maids, laughing like a rich noblewoman with her annoying "Ohohohohoho!!!" laugh (think Constance from Fire Emblem: Three Houses). She originally wanted to be a fashion designer with her own brand and everything, but enjoys being in service to a prominent senator.

Elise Pizzelle: Born in Naples, Elise appears emotionless and speaks in a monotone voice. Of all the maids, she doesn't really have a special field such as security, cleaning, or fashion design. She's just...there. For this reason, she refers to herself as an NPC. She is surprisingly humble in contrast to Denise's arrogant personality. Her personality is somewhat influenced by characters like Marianne from Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Yuki from Haruhi Suzumiya (though she apparently shares a name with a FE: Fates character). However, Patrice appreciates her and finds her useful. Elise is said to be exactly 1cm shorter than the rest of the maids (her home country uses metric system). Okay, slight spoiler territory: Elise takes an interest in medicine and becomes Patrice's personal physician, and towards the end of the story, researches how to be a midwife and perform an at-home delivery.

Tessa Minetti: Of the five maids, Palermo-born Tessa is the only maid that 1) did not know Patrice since childhood, and 2) her name does not rhyme with Patrice. She is the head chef of the residence; Patrice met her during a witness protection stay in Lake Como, where she worked as a chef at Villa del Balbianello. The senator loved her cooking so much, she employed the young chef in her household service. Of all the maids, Tessa is the most level-headed and a bit bookish (think Rei Tachibana from Pani Poni Dash!). She is not hyperactive, haughty, shy, or apathetic like the other four maids she works hard to keep in line. While her specialty is cooking, she can and will use utensils as weapons: her main preference being mezzaluna knives. If a bad guy were to break into the Amaretti residence, Tessa will arm herself with a pair of the curved knives and shout "It's mezzaluna time, mezza-loonies!". For some reason, I imagine her to speak like Freddi Fish.

I should also inform you that all the maids have call signs. Caprice is "Mirror" (her resemblance to Patrice), Clarice is "Sparkle" (making things clean and sparkly), Denise is "En Vogue" (personal stylist/fashion designer), Elise is "NPC" (she feels she's useless), and Tessa is "Oddball" (lack of rhyming name).

If it wasn't obvious already, I drew heavy anime inspiration for the maid squad. From wearing typical anime maid uniforms, to the hairstyles, the personalities (which occur pretty often in anime), and also incorporating one of my fave tropes...color-coded team members! Originally, I was going to put them wearing black boots for action, but since they're usually seen inside Patty's apartment, I drew them to have stockings and color-coded slippers (along with their color-coded accessories). Maybe they'll have the boots in another drawing where they're outdoors. They also have tracksuits and activewear, since they do exercise often. Also, points to anyone who caught the VeggieTales reference!

TL;DR: Caprice is Genki, Clarice is Dandere, Denise is Ojou-sama, Elise is Kuudere, and Tessa is Meganekko.

19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?

I've come a long way! My first fic, never published anywhere but turned in to my 4th grade english teacher, was a about a mew (pokemon) who evolved into a shiny mew. (no it did not make sense. i still have it notebook paper somewhere.) Mostly since actually learning that fanfic was a thing you could post online (2011), I wrote lots of kingdom hearts fic. at first I wrote mostly crack oneshots, then longer fics.

Then I forgot how to write oneshots for years and could ONLY write longfic. I wrote the most cringe known to man. (Have you ever tried to write a musical in fic form, with no musical knowledge, using only parodies of lyrics? and on top of that, making yourself a self insert, putting in the worst ships, later editing out some of those awful ships, etc. etc.? And that was only 1 fic. thats not even getting into my little pony crossovers.) I don't regret anything I've written though, I had a great time and I love being able to look back and go lol that was insane. (I made it only someone's "weirdest fic I ever read" section in their ao3 profile with the musical fic.)

Lately I write a lot more oneshots, I've been through like 5 different fandoms since kh (I still write for kh too, not so much for the other fandoms i passed through anymore). My style's a lot different than it used to be. I can't write crack without also taking it seriously anymore, though that's still really fun. Realizing I was ace somewhere around 2018 also changed the way I write a ton; I don't feel as much of a need to pair everyone off, and when I do write romance, it tends to be either healthier, or an absolute dumpster fire but on purpose. It's given me a lot of room to branch out from the "perfect" ending I thought I had to give each character.

This was a really long answer lol!! I love rambling about writing.

Being aroace I think it would be too easy to pick finishing my WIP xD I'm not sure which wip i'd pick though. it would probably have to be the Cast a Shadow series as a whole and it would have to be revamped for the earlier writing to be Better if im giving up hypothetical love lol

21. Could you ever quit writing? Do you ever wish you could? Why or why not?

If i quit writing i think i'd go insane from Too Many Thots disease. I think about writing to fall asleep. i think about writing to get through class. i think about writing when i should be thinking about anything else. i think about writing all the time EXCEPT when i have time to write, in which case i think about sleeping. I literally do not even know what I would do with myself if I couldn't write. Maybe take up exercising or something out of desperation lol

Some times I wonder why I talk the way I do and why my inner monologue is the way it is, like it's very much rambly, lowkey internet/TV show comedy but I could never think of what it's from. Then I started rewatching The Mentally Advanced Series, yknow that decade old my little pony parody, since when I first watched it when I was a kid and went Ah.

So the entire way I talk and my sense of humour might be really put down to this one parody series. About ponies.

Okay, time for some toy OCS! Since Huggy Wuggy is based on a sour pouch candy, Mommy Long Legs is based on Betty Spaghetti, and the Smiling Critters based on a combination of My Little Pony, Care Bears, and Strawberry Shortcake, I want these toy OCs to be based on my favorite video game series, The Legend of Zelda. It's called The Magical Tales of Cassidy!

You see, a famous gaming company called Wadinta, which is kind of a very loose parody of Nintendo, has called Playtime Co. in hopes they can make toys of the characters from their game so that Wadinta can promote their game. Playtime Co. agreed with it, and once the toys of the video game are made and put in stores, kids are buying and playing these toys, although The Magical Tales of Cassidy toys are not as popular as Poppy, Huggy, Mommy, and all of the other toys to be mascots of Playtime Co.

The Magical Tales of Cassidy is about a wandering traveler named Everett, who is based on Link, on a quest to stop an evil mage named Draven, who is slightly based on Ganon, mostly from the Zelda cartoon, wanting to take over the land of Nyleria, based on Hyrule, I had a very difficult time trying to think of a made-up magical land to be based on Hyrule, and to rescue Princess Cassidy, who is based on Princess Zelda, who contacted Everett through a linked telepathy. The game was released back in 1985, and the kids loved the game, and the toy products of The Magical Tales of Cassidy were made in 1986.

And now here are the characters of The Magical Tales of Cassidy.

Everett is a wandering traveler who is destined to save the land of Nyleria from an evil mage requested by Princess Cassidy via telepathy.

Cassidy is the princess of the Kingdom of Nyleria who has mystical powers since birth, but is being held hostage by her former mage, Draven, and communicates with Everett through telepathy, trusting him to save Nyleria from Draven.

Draven was a former mage of Princess Cassidy in the Kingdom of Nyleria, but has consume the darkness in his heart and wants to take over Nyleria with the palm of his hand.

These three characters are to be used for plays to enact the scenes from The Magical Tales of Cassidy at the upcoming Playtime Amusement Park (It's just a prototype, and no I don't mean The Prototype, and it depends if the setting will be in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, but I doubt it), however, the characters will be the Bigger Bodies of three kids that were experimented on by The Doctor.

Feel free to make fun of me, or think its too much information, but there is something I wish to speak of online.

Recently, I was talking with a group of friends about stuff we liked when we were little and how sad it is when shows you like as a kid end. Well, I was majorly obsessed with My Little Pony over the course of its entire run. I stopped watching after the TV glitched out and the guide would no longer tell me when the next new episode was on, that was sometime in season 7 or 8.

When I heard that the series had permanently ended after season 9, I was devastated. It felt like a part of me ended with the show. I liked it despite all the bullying I got for liking it.

As a girl in elementary school when the first seasons came out, I was the exact target audience for the show and it was considered normal for little girls to like rainbow colored ponies and anything pink. Back then, I was bullied almost everyday for my enjoyment of the show. I felt very lonely, but it helped that my best friend and I shared mostly the exact same interests.

The teasing is something I can look back on and laugh at, because the parody of the theme the boys made up is kinda funny. But it just shows that no matter what age, a girl isn't allowed to have any sort of interest, even if they are considered girly. (This is why Wilbur Soot is one of my favorite content creators, for the one time he said that girls being made fun of for having interests is his pet peeve.)

The worst part about that conversation I had just last week was that a girl, maybe two years younger than me said that she would've made fun of me for liking My Little Pony if she knew me when I was in 2nd grade (age 7 in school).

This is a major problem that I feel needs to be addressed and brought to people's attention more. A person, especially when they are little should be allowed to have interests without judgement, whether boy or girl, or whether the interest is more masculine or feminine. Children need to be taught to not make fun of another's interests.
