I like to HC that All Might official is not run by All Might at all but is instead run by Sir Nighteye and All Might does not get access to said account even after their falling out because All Might is the single most feral bastard online. Guy acts all family friendly in person because he was taught to but this fucker is a quirkless orphan before the era of peace. So I gave him the account name @quirklessnotworthless as a handle. He uses it to flame others and bring attention to quirk discriminations and quirkless people as well as getting into petty squabbles with @allmightofficial since Nighteye keeps responding.

Because lets be honest with ourselves. For all we love feral!Izuku my guy is domesticated compared to Toshinori. Toshinori was merely tamed by expectation and the combined efforts of Gran Torino and Nana Shimura. Toshinori is the Lion compared to Izuku’s Housecat. I can only imagine one of them dumpster diving for food and it ain’t Izuku.

Sources say Bigfoot, Mothman, and Guy Fieri are among some of the cryptids rumored to be joining the League of Villains.

When asked about why this selection, Tomura Shigaraki (leader of the League of Villains) stated: “They seem like chill dudes and the other one can kind of cook. We were hungry at the time of interviewing, so it just sort of worked out.”

These are poses ready to go, in which I’ll insert characters to your liking. Anything from body type, height, gender and species (ask), is easily adjustable. These will be completed within one day!

I am doing these in a flat colour option, at 40-50€ a piece, and in a full colour option, at 80-100€ a piece. Prices are listed on the images next to their corresponding poses, with the first number being that for a flat colour and the second one being for a full colour option.

This was a scene that Byleth could go on without repeating over and over again, but alas, the flow of time is a fickle thing, and the loss is necessary. Countless times, they had tried other ways to snap Dimitri back into reality, only to fail in the end. This was the only way to succeed.

The rain was warm, unusual for this area, but it made it seem like the heavens were weeping for the loss of such a great man and knight. Perhaps they were. Byleth certainly had the first few times they lived through it. But now their grief has been replaced by a determination to end this cycle. To have this be the last time they watch as Rodrigue sacrifices himself in order to save Dimitri. Let this be the final version of this particular encounter.

The sky grew darker as Byleth waited, the rain soaking them to the bone. They would continue to wait as long as needed… He would come. And soon, just as many times before, the soon-to-be king rounded the corner, and they stepped out of the shadows into his path.

“What do you want?”

His voice was harsh, almost intentionally so, as if Byleth’s mere presence was an annoyance. The first times they heard it, they flinched and held their tongue to placate the prince. The times after they had responded with anger or indifference. They all worked out in the end, but none were right. But now…

“I know where you’re going. You don't have to do this, Dimitri.” Their voice remained calm, even as anger flashed across his face.

“This isn’t your concern!” Dimitri spat out. “Get out of my way. Now.”

Byleth simply glared as he menacingly stepped closer. If one thing remained true, it was that Dimitri would never harm them. He could act like it was all he wanted, but they knew the truth.

“Going to Enbarr will not fix anything! Do you really think it will appease the dead? Or will it simply add Edelgard’s corpse to those that haunt you?"

“Do not speak of that vile woman as if she is a friend! It is their voices that demand her head! Only then will they finally get to rest peacefully. Don’t speak of matters you could never understand."

Dimitri took a moment, seemingly to compose himself. His anger had faded slightly, making way for something else. Something different. Grief? Was he perhaps finally letting himself grieve for his losses after all these years? Or was it simply resignation?

“Death…” He continued, his voice becoming thick with emotion. “Death is the end. No matter how much lingering regret a person has, after death, they are powerless. They cannot even wish for revenge, much less seek it out. Hatred. Regret. Those burdens fall on the shoulders of those who are left behind. They fall to me. I must continue down this path! And it is far too late to stop... You know this much already."

Byleth’s gaze softened as they watched his anger bleed into resignation and acceptance of his self-imposed fate.

“But you don’t have to do it alone. You’ve got me and so many others! You don’t have to throw your life away in the pursuit of revenge! Surely there is-“

“There is no other way! That is merely the logic of the living. It's meaningless. Those who died with lingering regret... They will not loose their hold on me so easily.

“But you seem to have all the answers... So tell me, professor. Please, tell me... How do I silence their desperate pleas? How do I... How do I save them? Ever since that day nine years ago... I have lived only to avenge the fallen. It is the only thing that keeps me alive... My only reason to keep moving forward...”

Byleth let out a soft huff of laughter, mainly out of nervousness. “I haven’t been your professor in a long time, Mitya... I was hardly qualified to be that in the first place, but even I know to not deny the Archbishop. But you’ve suffered enough. You must forgive yourself; move towards accepting the past and embracing the future.”

“But then who…or what…should should I live for?”

“Live for what you believe in. Live for yourself, and if you can’t do that, then make me the reason to keep on living.”

“What I believe in..." Dimitri shook his head slightly and turned his face up towards the sky. “Rodrigue said the same thing. But is it possible? I am a murderous monster. My hands are stained red. Could one such as I truly hope for such a life? As the sole survivor of that day, do I... Do I have the right to live for myself?”

Byleth placed a gentle hand on Dimitri’s cheek and turned his face back towards them. “No one’s hands are ever truly clean in this world. Asking that would be the same as asking me if I deserved the life I live. Each day you continue to live serves as proof that you deserve to live and live for yourself. And if you ever forget that, you will always have me to remind you.”

“I’ve got you…” Dimitri whispered as the professor pulled him into a gentle embrace. As he returned it, Byleth began to softly hum an ancient and gentle song. “You’re… You’re so warm… Have you always been?”

does yabuzawa have issues grappling with the fact that other people died to 'make' him so to speak? like he's got other people's quirks and dna in him now. i imagine with the amount of immense guilt he feels over what happened to shirakumo he probably feels pretty devastated that he indirectly had a hand in the deaths of others. like obviously that's not the case but we all know aizawa has a tendency to bear the burden of guilt that isn't his to bear because of that hero complex he has.

He does :( and he won’t realize it’s even something to worry about until he’s more or less back to Aizawa, and that makes it worse on him. He’ll come down hard on himself for not thinking of others & Hizashi will attempt to be the voice of reason, however chaotically that goes

i’m sorry i’m sorry one last message for bakugou antis (specifically the ones who like deku)

do you honestly think deku, izuku “kacchan is my hero” midoriya, would agree with you? do you believe without a doubt that he, his canon character, would think you’re right to hate bakugou?

because damn, there is nobody in mha (as much as i ship kiribaku and as much as i love dadzawa) who cares about bakugou as much as deku does. and i’m not saying this from a shipping standpoint — i’m saying this from a They Are Genuinely Inseparable Characters standpoint.

someone gets attacked by a sludge villain. deku is willing to hang back and let a hero come rescue the kid because he’s quirkless, what can he do? until he sees that it’s bakugou. until he sees the boy he’s looked up to his whole life staring back at him, dying. and in that moment, he doesn’t hesitate. he runs to him despite knowing there is nothing he can do, no real effect he can have, because he needs to save kacchan. he has to.

bakugou gets targeted by villains at a camp where they’re supposed to be safe. deku is broken half to hell and should be dead in all honesty, but he keeps going because kacchan is in danger. and then he has to watch him get kidnapped, see that fear in his eyes, and do what? nothing. he can’t do anything, and all he can think about is saving him.

so then let’s look at the fight they have after that. where deku realizes bakugou needs this, because it’s the only way he knows how to let out what he’s feeling. and he fights him because he’s willing to, because this is what kacchan needs, and this is what deku can give him.

i’ve said it before but deku loves him. i don’t care how you want to perceive that love, but you can’t deny it. and if you use that as a reason to hate bakugou, i really wonder how your critical thinking skills are doing.

(and for the love of fuck don’t tell me deku was abused or gaslight or manipulated or codependent or whatever to make him love bakugou. i won’t even waste my breath on that one because it’s just beyond stupid.)

My Hero Academia: 101 how to start

For people who want to try to get into MHA but don't know where to start! I will talk here about the manga and how the anime adapts it, but also an order to read all the spin offs and watch all the extra content.

Just now that the main canon story is just the manga, so if you want to start and try... I recommend simply reading the manga (or watching the anime) and avoiding for now any extra content.

I also added links for translated drama cds, extra chapters and the Ultra Stage adaptation (the musical).

THE MANGA (vs anime)

The anime is a pretty loyal adaptation of the manga, almost scene for scene in most cases, with no plot-decisive changes, and mainly little scenes added. S1, S2, S3, S4 and S5 also all have a one added anime-only exclusive episode with some small storyline.

The manga is currently at volume 36, and every 10 chapters (more or less) we have a new volume announcement. If you are reading in English, the manga is published by Viz and the publication is about 3 or 4 volumes behind the Japanese release.

If you keep up with each new chapter you will be able to read them for free here as soon as they come out, each Sunday. Each Sunday it is a new chapter, which on twitter is usually tagged as #MHA+chapter number, but leaks are out usually on Wednesday or Thursday, so be careful of the spoilers. On twitter you can follow DabisPoleDance, RukasuMHA and Justixplode if you are interested in reading the leaks for the weekly chapters.

ANIME, OVAs, MOVIES

As said before, the anime is a pretty accurate adaptation. The first season covers about 3 volumes. The second season up till volume 8, the third season up till volume 14, the fourth season up till volume 20, the fifth season up till volume 26. The fifth season also covered the arc known as My Villain Academia and focused on the villains, but ended up reducing it in size so many people will reccomend you to read the manga too.

For the watching order of anime, OVAs and Movies, this should be accurate:

Season 1 OVA 1: Save! Rescue Training Season 2 OVA 2: Training of the Dead OVA for movie 3: All Might Rising Movie: Two Heroes Season 3 up till episode 15 OVA 3: Make It! Do-or-Die Survival Training Season 3 up till the end Season 4 Season 5 Movie 2: Heroes Rising (at any point in the middle of season 5 or after season 5 even, as its placement is a bit confusing) OVA for movie 3: Departure Movie 3: World Hero Mission (can be watched after the teaser at s05E16 or after season 5) OVA 4: Hero League Baseball OVA 5: Laugh! As if you are in Hell! Season 6

The OVAs are not necessary for the plot as they are extra anime-only stories. The movies are technically canon, given that some of the characters appear in the anime and in the spin off manga.

You can find the list of OVAs here.

DRAMA CDs

Each anime dvd boxset (Japanese version) comes with some small audio tracks of extra stories that can be enjoyed alongside the episodes. For example, when the class goes to the forest camp in season 3, the dvd set has an extra track (in the drama cds) about Ochako and Tsuyu being enthusiastic.

These drama cds are only in Japanese, but thanks to fan translators some of them can be found in English, or have summaries. I made a list here.

This is not technically canon content, just anime-only added content, a part for the first drama cd which was a manga special.

OTHER ADAPTATIONS: THE ULTRA STAGE

The MHA manga has also been adapted into a stage play/musical. There are currently 3 stage plays following the story of the anime and manga pretty closely up till the middle of season 3. You can find the titles, actors, how to buy them and more information here.

MANGA SPIN OFFS

There are currently three manga spin offs, two of them are complete, one is still ongoing. All mangas are licensed by Viz in English, so the information I give is based on that, but if you speak another language you might have earlier release dates. I will write the list in chronological (from older) order:

a) Smash!! - this manga is a parodic retelling of MHA. Nothing in it is canon as it is simply a serious of one page/half a page sketches that retell the story of MHA up till season 3, more or less, changing a lot of the plot just for the sake of comedy. It has 5 short volumes.

b) Vigilantes - this is a prequel of MHA, it has 15 volumes and it was recently concluded. It tells the story of a new character called Koichi. It also has some chapters about Aizawa's time in high school, Present Mic, and some Midnight. One chapter is also about Mirko.

c) Team up mission - this is a series of volumes (volume 4 recently came out in Japan, volume 3 is coming out soon in English) about class 1a, with some appearances from class 1b, other students, some pro heroes and even some movies characters. The stories are all set in season 5, and each chapter is a self-contained extra adventure. For example: one chapter in volume 1 was Ochako, Deku and Bakugou working together at a work-study. Another chapter in volume 2 was about Monoma and class 1a etc. The series is still ongoing.

d) Movies special manga: Each movie is usually accompanied by a short manga that introduces some characters or elements. These are not fundamental.

Movie 1 has "Volume Origin" which contains a prologue for the movie, a small story about All Might and some character extra files. Movie 2 has "Volume Rising" which contains extra files and a story that introduces the villains of the movie. With Movie 2 there was also a new special two chapters called "Deku and Bakugou rising" (part 1 and 2) which came out, but luckily they were added to the Team Up Mission mangas so can be found in those volumes. Movie 3 has "Volume World Heroes" which contains some extra stuff and a chapter that introduces Deku, Bakugou and Todoroki leaving for the mission. This chapter is called "Hawks: Soothe" and was actually adapted into the OVA for movie 3 called "Departure" (word for word adaptation, basically). There was also a special one chapter that came out for the movie, called "Endeavor's Mission", which introduces the trio accepting the mission.

These volumes are particularly hard to find in English as they are usually specials given to people who buy movie tickets in Japan, but if you want to read them it is more convenient to search for the title of the chapters with plot, so "All Might Rising" (movie 1), (movie 2) "League of Villains: Undercover", "Deku and Bakugou rising" and (movie 3) "Endeavor's Mission" and "Hawks: Soothe".

NOVELS

MHA has a series of novels called School briefs. Each novel also usually has about 4 or 5 illustrations. Each chapter expands on a certain manga scene or add some additional adventures.

Each novels add extra scenes to the manga arcs that they cover. You can find the list here, but just as a way to choose when to read them:

School briefs 1: can be read just after the Sport Festival and Stain (as it has spoilers for them), so just after volume 6.

School briefs 2: it is set in volume 8, so before volume 9 events.

School briefs 3: is set between volume 13 and 14 (it has spoilers for the first chapter of volume 14)

School briefs 4: it covers some events of volume 18 to 20, so it can be safely read after volume 20

School briefs 5: It has some elements of manga volume 26, so it can be read at that volume.

School briefs 6 is not out yet, but knowing the plot is is also set up till volume 26, so nothing of the events of volume 27 and onwards will be in it.

The movies also have novels as adaptation (written after the movie). Movie one has Two heroes. My Hero Academia the movie novel but I could only found it translated it in Italian. It is identical to the movie Two Heroes and only adds a final epilogue (I translated it here among other parts of the novel). The second movie has a novel adaptation called Heroes: Rising. My Hero Academia the Movie. I will receive it soon and add translations of any extra from the movie.

EXTRAS

BNHA also has two extra information volumes that presents characters, extra data, small interactions between them and also a small short story in the first volume (an omake called "The Depth", which is set after volume 8 of the manga):

MHA also has some videogames, mainly the pc games One's Justice and One's Justice 2 which are fighting games with a little bit of story covering up till volume 11 more or less.

There are also currently two android phone games that do not really have a story but are mainly battle/collecting characters. One is MHA: The strongest hero and the more popular one is called My Hero Ultra Impact. The second one is more popular because it adds small events where the characters interact (ex. they go to a festival).

There is also a battle royale game called My Hero Ultra Rumble. None of these videogames add any canon material.
