HC Differences and similarities between my DA and my Captain

HCs under the read more just in case the post gets too long!

Captain

Even though she has dreams of being a DA, her neck and stomach hurting afterwards, she is a different character than DA. Also goes by Space!Kelsey or Spacesona by me.

A little more upbeat than the DA, wants to help her crewmates anyway she can.

Looks up to Gunther, but never really tells him this nor anyone else.

Normal human being with a baseball bat as a primary weapon, knows how to use a laser gun, grenades, etc basic weaponry.

During her adventures through the warmholes, she's meet Wilford, Jim, and Yancy.

Captainsona is also the date with Mark (ADWM), and Heistsona (AHWM). She is also GhostHunter!Kelsey (who i'll get in to on a later date).

Has a good relationship with her crewmates. She's very impressed in Burt's poet skills. Best friends with Space!Mark.

Is Neutral Good.

DA/Geist

Is called DAsona, District Attorney, DA!Kelsey by me. In story nicknames are Partner by Abe. However, when she frees herself from the mirror, she is called Geist.

She can see and talk ghosts, uses mirrors as a means of transportation (or any reflective surfaces), and move around objects like a poltergeist. She'll know who's spying on her if anyone else uses a mirror to see through and/or at her. 10 times out of 10 will result into breaking said mirror. (like what happened in TWAU with Bloody Mary if you played the game)

Keeps her what her human form was previously and weirdly enough retains most of her personality. However, being stuck in the mirror for years has changed her. But there's still some of the DA in Geist.

Before she passed, she was best friends with Damien.

Looks up to Abe. Like a student-mentor type relationship.

Wants to kill Actor!Mark for what he did back at the manor. She works alongside Dark, but is very distant with him.

Doesn't have a grudge against William/Wilford, forgives him for shooting her. But every now and then black blood will drip out from her stomach and her neck will bruise randomly. There's no pain attached to it nor will she die (She's a demon after all). It's just a thing that happens to her.

She glitches every so often, not as much as Dark, and usually is seen with purple aura following and flowing behind her. If her baseball bat is left unattended, the same thing happens to it. Glitches come up when she's really sad or angry.

If she had a theme her theme would probably be this.

Is True Neutral.

Similarities between them:

They are both agender with She/They pronouns.

Have baseball bats as their main weapon. (This whole idea was based on the Host/Author's first appearance, as seen holding a baseball bat and from Aubrey in Omori who also has a baseball bat with her.)

They can be quiet and laid back. (But Captain talks more so than DA/Geist. Someone can mistake DA/Geist for being mute, because she hardly talks 90% of the time.)

Ghost is a man who never needed to do much to draw attention when he goes clubbing. His impressive frame ensures he gets plenty of attention. That natural air of authority honed over years as a commanding officer ensuring he has his space if he wants it, unwanted approaches stopped before they even begin.

Still lots of eyes stick to him casually leaning against the bar. Always had an easy pick of those brave enough to approach him. Even before the scars in his face he attracted a certain type, the twinks that wanted to be thrown around, bears wanting to play with someone in their own weight class they weren't sure they could out-wrestle and everyone in between who just likes tall, strong blondes. Ever since the scars that has only intensified, might be that he loses out on some vain types, but the daredevils flock to him even more now.

So really he can't complain. He's not the biggest fan of the places, avoids scrungy punky ones altogether for very personal reasons, but they serve their purpose. Finding a quick lay mostly. Sometimes just enjoying a space where he's not the only gay man for miles and miles.

When he starts to go clubs with Soap though, it becomes a very different experience.

First of all he's not looking to take anyone home or to a convenient dark corner.

No, he's here because Johnny likes dancing and what Johnny wants he usually gets. Simon could never deny him anything.

So there is no one Ghost is looking at but Soap. And bloody fucking hell it is worth looking.

Johnny's easy confidence bleeds off of him and mixed with his natural charm he commands the entire rooms attention. His body helps, sure, sculpted muscles barely hidden by a mesh shirt and jeans so tight there's nothing left to the imagination, but there's plenty of good looking men around.

None of them carry themselves like Soap does though.

He watches as Soap enters the dance floor, seeming to melt into the beat. Dancing as effortlessly as he cleans an entire building of hostiles. A fucking vision in strobing lights as he let's the rhythm dictate his movements. Wide fucking smile painted on his face.

People flock to him, wind themselves around him in more or less proficient dance moves, probably hoping to leave an impression over the gaggle of obvious suitors.

Soap toys with them, dancing with those he finds entertaining, neatly sidestepping those he doesn't. Bathing in the attention of wandering hands and lips.

Ghost wonders if they can feel how dangerous of a man he really is. If they can smell the slight hint of sulfur from the demolitions workshop he's been crammed in all day. If they can see the edge in his eyes, that predatory glint of a man trained to kill walking through a crowd of unaware civilians.

Most probably can't.

Some who can probably find it exciting.

In the end none of it matters anyways.

Because it is Ghost's gaze that Johnny seeks when another man winds around him, littering his neck with kisses. And it's on Ghost's wordless command that he abandons the crowd of hopefuls. Meandering over to him, well aware of all the looks following him as he sprawls himself in Simon's lap unabashedly.

It's a unique rush of power having the man they all want at his beck and call. To take a sip of whisky and shamelessly kiss it into his mouth. Making sure just a little spills over painting a golden line for him to lick up.

Keeping his eyes on the crowd and bathing in their envy, their hunger and their shock.

He indulges for a few minutes, let's Soap shower him in affection while keeping him and the room in check with his dominance over the situation.

It's a game they both know Ghost will lose down the line, will drag Soap out of the club like his life depends on it. Maybe throw him over his shoulder just to make a point.

But not yet. Now he makes sure Soap drinks some water and sends him off again with a well aimed slap to his arse.

And Johnny smiles bright and wide. Drifting into the crowd, the crowd that is apprehensive at first but before long they can't help themselves. There's some wary glances shot at Simon, but his ongoing indifference seems to embolden them. Crowding Soap like moths would a light.

And Ghost finds himself suddenly enjoying clubs a whole lot more. Revelling in Soap's obvious bliss and the knowledge that the man who drives the whole dance floor senseless will follow him in the blink of an eye.

Let them get their hopes up, he's got nothing to fear, to be jealous over because he knows the only thing that matters:

Soap commands the whole room without even trying, but Ghost is the only one who commands his attention.

I've only read the first volume of Dungeon Meshi but I'm convinced Laios and Marcille are both autistic but two EXTREMELY different flavors of autism, so much so it enables autistic PVP (one sided, Laios is unaware, possibly due to the autism)

i love yuuji more than anything, and i can go hours on and on about him in cat ears, but THIS particular situation reminds me of bakugou soooo much.

like it is him to the tee i literally have thought about this exact situation a thousand times i just havent writen a fic on it. his entire body is a vicious shade of red and he wears pink lingerie, frilly and cutesy, with a matching pink collar (with the bell of course). he wears white cat ears, and you have even gave him fingerless gloves that has pink paw pads on them.

but ofc, it is katsuki, so he is glaring at you the entirity of it, and you have to be careful with whatever you say, because one wrong word and he is locking himself in the bathroom for awhile to spite you. but if you craft your coos sweet enough, rub at his face a little bit, he will eventually find comfort on his knees in front of you. of course the twinge of humilation sends blood straight to his cock, but he pretends it doesnt exist for the sake of his pride.

it will take alot of convincing to get him to act cutesy for you, but eventually when his mouth is swollen from kisses and his eyes are hazy from the constant positive attention, he may follow your comands. lifting his hands up to his face in the standard cat pose, and letting out the smallest, awkward meow out there. it of course makes you giggle, and depending how deep his into the play, he will either throw a hissy fit and curse at you, or he may just bury his head into your legs and whine from embaressment.

here are my hc’s surrounding characters with scars or tattoos! i feel like most seasoned trainers have some sort of scarring so i kept it to ones that directly affect their character + how they got them plays a large role in their life. a bit of angst sprinkled in cause i can’t help myself lmao

scars within the dragon clans are almost seen as a rite of passage for a trainer. lance’s is by far the biggest with two large gashes on his upper body; one across his chest and the other being on his abdomen. he got them in his very early 20’s at the lake of rage. because of the placement and his more modest/traditional way of dressing, most people beside family have never seen them.

blue has small scars scattered across his left cheek leading up to his temple with the most prominent one being a slit in his eyebrow from his childhood. doctors always told him it was a miracle he didn’t loose his vision because of it. only his close family, red and leaf know how he actually got them as he tells the general public they were acquired via a harsh training session.

silver, similar to blue, has a scar on his face that stretches from his lip to beside his nose from a incident involving team rocket as a older teenager. however unlike blue, silver is quite open to how he acquired the wound, very much as a “fuck you” to team rocket.

dawn has a giant gash that nearly wraps around her upper right thigh from a carnivine attack in hisui. the scar remained on her leg upon her return to sinnoh - a very conflicting & painful constant reminder of everyone she left behind and the trauma she experienced in ancient sinnoh.

40% of leons body is covered in burns from eternatus. the scars mostly spread from his left arm and chest but are as high as his neck and down to his waist. after his initial recovery period, he found it difficult to look at himself in the mirror as the person looking back at him didn’t match the leon persona he spent so long curating.

as for tattoos

both adaman and irida have large tattoos, a tradition passed through clan leaders. both portray the clans individual belief of what almighty sinnoh is believed to look like while also showing each clans respective nobles. adamans reaches from his left arm to chest while iridas stretches across her back.

cynthia has a large back piece that goes down across her spine. truthfully i haven’t worked a lot on this hc but i’m thinking it would be text from the old verses that was passed down in her family from the ancient celestica people.

Any headcanons about Yuno, Muu, and Shidou being guilty in T1, for a total of 7 guilty prisoners? If it means anything, none of them have a higher guilty percent than Amane. (Yuno is 50.85%, Muu is 51.26%, Shidou is 50.96%, based on Pai's graph)

Haha, well I hoped you enjoyed a bit of comedy before I post some dramatic headcanons :3 Thank you for the request, this is a really interesting switch-up for the prison 👀👀👀 A majority guilty cast would carry a much darker tone, but allow for a few people to really shine.

Major guilty reactions:

Yuno: She’s just as bitter about her guilty verdict as she was in canon, becoming cold and isolated. She’s tired of people making judgements about things that are none of their business, and separates herself from everyone. There’s the subtle difference from canon because she actually agrees with this verdict, but still doesn’t think Es should be the one to give it out. Her video has more focus on Es/the audience, we see more people who may judge her (friends, family, etc). More stuffed animals, more crowds, all growing hostile. The video had more substantial hints towards her sadness at the way society looks down on people like her. 

Muu: She becomes panicked and defensive with her judgment. She's flighty, startles easy, and lashes out in fear all the time. Now, she’s the one to consider ending everything – to her, the verdict essentially means “if it was really down to you or her, it shouldn’t have been her.” Her video really highlights that duality, turning both she and Rei into monsters battling for/with the hourglass. Her panicky attitude is reflected in it, feeling like everyone in the world must be out to get her now.

Shidou: He’s at peace with the verdict, and allows himself to fall into misery. He's thankful to be punished for all the guilt he’s been feeling. Kotoko’s attacks only plunge him deeper into despair. He feels helpless and once again can’t save people the way he wanted to. He’s disillusioned with his career and becomes pessimistic and bitter. He takes it out on Es, telling them there’s no way they can save anyone either. His video is full of unavoidable death in nature, like rotting food, changing seasons, and wilting flowers. 

The attacks:

Since the guilty percentage order didn’t change, I’m going to say the attacks themselves happen exactly the same – it’s the aftermath that’s different. Whether it’s due to restraints or locked cells, Shidou isn’t able to offer aid. He has to sit back and talk the others through instruction: Haruka, Kazui, and Mikoto if he can get him to focus. They do their best, but they’ve never done anything like this before. Despite his calm attitude, Shidou isn’t good at explaining things he knows innately under pressure. Fuuta and Mahiru end up in a much worse state, since proper care was denied for so long. (I don’t think they’d kill anyone t2, but if they were willing to, she would have died here). Fuuta’s eye is gone for sure, and he has trouble getting around with his other injuries. Mahiru is barely scraping by, not allowed to leave her bed. Her video is glitchy and confusing due to the unhealed head injury and overall weakness.

Other character details:

Haruka grows even more confident than canon, seeing himself as Muu’s protector as well as the object of her affection. He helps her through her self-harming thoughts, feeling like a hero and a model son again. He threatens Es to vote her innocent, but with his newfound feeling of importance he threatens anothers’ safety, not his own (maybe Amane or Mahiru because they're smaller than him.)

Amane’s hatred for Shidou is actually dulled because he got a guilty verdict too. She believes he’s getting the punishment he deserves, and doesn't need to interfere. She's a little annoyed he's taking the punishment with open arms, though.

Fuuta’s line in Backdraft is just about Kotoko – “why is she innocent?” He feels less singled out among so many guilty prisoners, but he recognizes his parallels with her and it drives him crazy that they got different verdicts.

I won’t spoil anything for Kotoko’s stuff, but she’s a bit less harsh since she believes Es really is just like her, giving unattached, severe judgements. 

Since he was able to help a lot in the attacks, both protecting Fuuta and offering care afterwards, Kazui really leans in the hero role. Whether he enjoyed being a cop before or not, he's consumed by that responsibility now. It gives him purpose and he really takes charge of everyone. He and Kotoko butt heads a lot now that he's speaking up more.

There are conflicted emotions between the innocent prisoners and patients – they know they’re not medically trained, but there’s still a bit of hostility that they didn’t do a good job. There’s a mix of feeling grateful for their aid and bitter it’s not perfect. The innocent ones get a confidence boost that they were able to be useful and protect others instead of hurt them, as well as get crushed by the guilty that they failed at offering great care. 

I'll need more time to ruminate on it, but I wonder if given enough time, would the guilty prisoners band together and attack Kotoko back? It was hard for the canon four, but now they have the numbers...
