the thing about bucktaylor is that i do want them to date but only so they can break up because they'd be the best kind of exes. flirts every time they see each other exes. "been there, done that" with a smug smile when someone points out the chemistry exes. people will be like "oh you two got back together?" when they see them interact and they go "he/she wishes" at the same time kind of exes. i just really want them to be supportive exes who other ppl think are still dating/are dating again when theyre really just friends and will alternate between wingman-ing and accidentally leading ppl interested in the other to believe they're taken. i want that dynamic so fucking badly
